It was another day at the SMG4 universe.
The Mario brothers were doing their own stuff in their home. 'Seems like a slow day, isn't it, brother?' said Mario, eating his spaghetti. 'Yeah,' replied Luigi. After finishing his spaghetti, Mario decides to go back to Peach's castle.
'Okay. See ya later!' said the green plumber.
A few moments later, Mario has arrived, hoping that something interesting will happen. He slowly walked in the castle and opened the castle door.
Suddenly, he heard someone sobbing. It was Meggy. Seeing this, Mario ran towards her to see what was going on. 'Meggy? What are you doing here? Why are you crying?' he asked. Meggy stopped crying and saw Mario. 'Oh…Hello, Red…' she murmured, 'I had a nightmare last night, about Desti, killed by Francis in front of me again…' she sobbed, and bursted into tears. 'The images of it are still haunting me. I…I wish I could time travel and alternate her death… So that I could be happy again…'
Mario was worried about Meggy. He thought for a while and had an idea. 'I just remembered that I have something important to do,' Mario said to Meggy, taking out a bowl of ice-cream, 'Before I go, take this. I was going to eat it myself, but I think you need it more than I do.'
'Thanks, Red.' Meggy thanked Mario. 'No problem. I'll hopefully be back soon… Just hang in there, okay?' said the red plumber, then he walked away.
