"Hey bro". Amelia says walking towards Meredith's hospital room and seeing Derek outside.
"Hey Amy". Derek replies as he sister stands beside him.
"Don't worry I'm not staying". Amelia comments to her brother.
"I'm not worried you can stay". Derek tells his sister.
"Meredith isn't too happy with me right now it's better off this way". Amelia informs her feelings to her brother.
"Amelia I don't think she is pissed at you I think she is just annoyed she didn't pick up on it as am I I'm sorry Amy". Derek responds.
"You don't have to be sorry I'm the one who screwed my sobriety up". Amelia tells her brother getting emotional as Owen walks past.
"How are things going between the two of you and for you generally". Derek questions his sister.
"We haven't spent much time together make that any time together whilst I'm dealing with this and as for me I just got my thirty day chip and am coming back to work on Monday". Amelia updates her brother on her life happenings and hands him her chip.
"I'm proud of you Amy and it's going to be good to have you back I've missed you". Derek tells his sister handing her chip back after playing with it.
"Enough about me. How's Meredith?". Amelia states and asks after her sister in law.
"We are taking it on day at a time". Derek tells his sister.
"Well if you need to talk or vent call me ok". Amelia tells her brother stretching in for a hug.
"Same goes call me if you feel like a slip is coming". Derek tells his sister.
