Prologue Part 2: Recruits
Tanjiro sighed as he walked towards Natagumo Mountain. Some decades had passed since the formation of the Moon Slayer Corps but their ranks are miniscule. At least the communications with the Demon Slayer Corps are going well.
They had recruited some demons who wanted to get free from Muzan, and they started to train them, but many just give up and go back to kill humans. Those were dispatched quickly.
And the reason he is here now, some new information said that a powerful demon is hiding in here. So, he came hoping to convince this demon to join them, kami knows that they need stronger members.
Once inside the forest, he could smell the blood. Somehow it was everywhere. He kept walking, noticing the many spiders' webs on the trees. He stopped when he felt another presence.
"Hello. Are you lost?" A calm voice said and Tanjiro turned to it, and saw a small boy, with skin pale as the moon, light pink hair, a white kimono with spider web designs. But what called his attention was what was engraved in his eyes.
Lower Rank Five.
Tanjiro immediately knew that this is the strong demon from the reports, so he decided to don't alarm him. "Not really, I am just taking a stroll." He smiled kindly at him and the demon nodded.
"I see." He then eyed his clothes and weapon, a nichirin blade "You look like a demon slayer, but you are a demon. Why is that?"
"Oh this?" He tugged his uniform "I stole it from a dead demon slayer."
The demon nodded "I see." he then smiled like an innocent child "Hey, what you say if you join my family?"
Tanjiro blinked confused "Family?"
The demon nodded "Yes, I always wanted an older brother, and you look strong. And besides, if you are not, I can protect you and feed you."
Tanjiro chuckled "It sounds like an interesting proposition." He said and the demon eyes widen in joy "But I will have to pass. You see, I already have a family."
"But mine is way better." The demon argued "Why don't you come and see for yourself." the demon invited him and Tanjiro hummed.
"Well, I can, but I won't make any promises."
The demon nodded "That's okay. I am Rui by the way."
"Tanjiro."
Tanjiro followed Rui deeper into the dark forest until they reached an abandoned manor, with more demons there. They looked like Rui, except the one that looked more like spider.
"See Tanjiro?" Rui said to the older demon "This is my family." He said and started to introduce each one "This are my older sisters, this is my mother, and this is my father."
Tanjiro smiled at each one, but felt the tension in the air, but more than tension, there was fear towards Rui. "A pleasure to meet you all, my name is Tanjiro and Rui was just showing me around."
Rui nodded with a smile "So, want to become a member of our family?"
Tanjiro felt that the question, was more a demand, so for now, he decided to play along "Can I have some more time to think?"
Rui nodded happily "Of course, you are welcome to stay here while you decide."
Tanjiro was guided inside and sat on what seemed to be a guest room. He laid on the bed and closed his eyes.
He wasn't sure how much time passed, when he heard the door opening. He opened one eye and he saw one of Rui's sisters enter, and she silently closed the door.
Tanjiro sat up and raised a confused brow "Something wrong?"
"You need to leave." She said "Before he traps you here."
"He? You mean Rui?" Tanjiro asked and she nodded.
"He has this sick vision of family, but it doesn't matter. Save yourself, it is too late for me to escape." Tanjiro nodded as he strapped his blade.
"What is your name?" Tanjiro asked and she gulped.
"Nobara... but what are you waiting, you need to-"
Tanjiro offered her his hand "If you want to escape, I will help you. I work in an organization that can help you."
Nobara blinked as tears started to well in her eyes "It isn't so easy..."
"Nobara-san;" Tanjiro smiled kindly at her "Trust me, let me save you."
Nobara gulped and nodded. Tanjiro smiled and his eyes widened as he pushed Nobara down to avoid a string that cut almost everything. He looked up and saw Rui glaring at him.
"So, this was your plan... to destroy my family..." Rui accused and Tanjiro raised his arms as Nobara shook behind him.
"Rui, I just want to help." Tanjiro offered and Rui's glare intensified.
"Lies." He simply stated as he attacked again, an attack capable of cutting everything.
Tanjiro took a deep breath "Shi no Kata: Kurai Taiyu. (Fourth Form: Dark Sun)" he made two diagonal cuts, making an x, with a pattern of black with orange embers and grey clouds, as he cut all the threads.
Rui eyes widen as Tanjiro rushed to him and placed his blade, a white with orange nichirin blade in front of his neck.
Rui's eyes widen in fear and Tanjiro sighed "Rui..."
"I will not kill you."
He backed down and put the blade back into the scabbard as Rui looked up to him "W-Why?"
Tanjiro smiled sadly "I know what it is to lose your family. I know that it can make you despair. But... there will always be someone willing to accept you. For example,"
"I accept you how you are Rui."
Rui had forgotten how this feeling felt. Warm and fuzzy. Why were his cheeks wet? Was he crying? It seems he was as Tanjiro bent down and hugged him as he sobbed.
That day, the spider family joined the Moon Slayer Corps.

Yoriichi liked to take calming walks. After days of managing his Corps, that was growing slowly but steadily.
He was crossing a bridge and noticed that the mist was heavier than other nights. And across the bridge, walking his direction, there was another swordsman, wearing a black haori with a white shirt under. He had a straw kasa on his head and was holding what seemed to be a nichirin blade.
They crossed each other and stopped a few feets away from each other. "Your sword smells like blood." Yoriichi stated and the man smirked. Yoriichi noticed his fangs and frowned. A demon.
"Yours's also reek of it."
They turned around and stared at each other, Yoriichi taking in the apearance of the demon. Blue eyes with slits, a normal skin tone and he could see black bangs of hair framing his hair, as his nails were blue.
It seemed that the demon did the same "Hanafuda earrings..." He smirked "You're that demon."
Yoriichi kept his neutral look, as he analyzed the demon who looked, excited?
"Say, want to start slow? I really want to enjoy my last fight." The demon asked and Yoriichi raised a brow.
"Last fight?"
The demon grinned and nodded "That's right. I am fully aware I can't defeat you. But... I always enjoy a good fight, even those I know I will lose." He took out his nichirin blade, black with white "So, will you comply my wish?"
Yoriichi couldn't help but to smile at his excitement "Very well. I will not use my breathing form. At least not right away."
The clash of blades started and Yoriichi had the upper hand since the very beginning, but the technique of the demon was nothing to scoff at. After another clash, the demon pushed him away as he grinned. "That was amazing! As expected from the demon that he fears!" he praised.
Yoriichi chuckled "You are not bad yourself. What's your name?"
The demon grinned "Kabuto Yamazaki. You don't mind if I show you a trick I learned a while ago, do you?"
Yoriichi smiled "Go ahead."
Kabuto took a deep breath "Ichi no Kata: Hoshi no Mishi. (First Form: Star's Way)" In a blink, Kabuto's blade was next to Yoriichi's neck, a pattern of black clouds and what seemed to be stars following the blade.
Yoriichi managed to put his blade up un time, but the strength of the attack pushed him to Kabuto's origin position while Kabuto spun and ended a bit away from Yoriichi.
Kabuto smirked "Impressive right?"
Yoriichi nodded "And unexpected. What breathing form was that?"
"The Night Breathing Form. My sensei taught me until... I was turned." The smirk on Kabuto's face remained, but it looked more forced now.
Yoriichi understood, probably a situation similar to Tamayo's. "Then I guess there is no holding back now."
Yoriichi rushed to Kabuto who raised his blade over his head and took a deep breath "Ni no Kata: Higure (Second Form: Nightfall)." He for one moment thought that due to the speed Yoriichi was rushing to him, he would cut him as he cut down.
But before the steel could make contact, Yoriichi side stepped and the blade made a cut on the floor. Yoriichi twisted his body and drew his sword. "Enbu. (Dance)"
In a vertical slash, he cut both of Kabuto's arms, leaving his blade stuck on the floor. The pain and shock of such quick attack, made Kabuto fall back as Yoriichi his blade to his neck.
"Well... that sure was one great way to leave." Kabuto joked and pressed his neck to the tip of the blade, "I am ready."
Yoriichi stood there in silence before putting his blade back in the scabbard "Kabuto; you are aware of who turned you into a demon?"
Kabuto smile left, replaced by a frown as he relaxed. "Yeah... it was that man."
Yoriichi nodded "I imagined. And since you became a demon, what had been your purpose?"
Kabuto raised a brow "Purpose?"
Yoriichi nodded "A purpose. Ever since you turned and got your memory, what had been your goals? Revenge? To train? To pass your knowledge?" When he got answered by silence, he knew what he had been doing "Just wandering, right? Looking for something to end your existence."
More silence and Yoriichi smiled at the younger demon "What you say if I give you a purpose? Something that will reignite your will."
Kabuto agreed, and joined the Moon Slayer Corps.

Nezuko walked the road in Sagiri Mountain towards the home of Sakonji Urokodaki. After some talks with the 96th leader of the Demon Slayer Corps, they agreed to change information and techniques. She was sent to talk with Urokodaki to talk about the Water Breathing Form and of there is any way if they can exchange the techniques.
As she arrived, she spotted two teens sparring with wooden swords, one with thick peach colored hair and the other spikey black hair, with an older man, who she presumed was Urokodaki, watching them.
Urokodaki was the first to spot her and stopped his students "Giyu! Sabito! Stop! We have a guest." Both students stopped and turned to her, and quickly, noticed what she was.
"Sensei, she is a-" The peach haired one said before Urokodaki interrupted.
"A demon, I am aware of it." He said and walked to the demon that smiled at him "Nezuko, right?"
Nezuko nodded happily "That's right. And you should be Urokodaki." Urokodaki nodded as both his students walked to them, Sabito looking at her with wariness while Giyu with curiosity. "Oh! And these are your students I suppose."
Urokodaki nodded "Indeed. Sabito and Giyu, meet Nezuko Kamado, the Wind Pillar of the Moon Slayer Corps."
Nezuko bowed her head "A pleasure to meet both of you."
"Moon Slayer Corps?" Giyu asked.
"Is it another branch of the Demon Slayer Corps?" Sabito asked, still untrusting of the demon girl.
Nezuko tapped her chin "Not really. We have the same goal, but due that our organization works mainly with demons, relationships until now had been... tense."
"Anyway, we have a lot to discuss, Nezuko." Urokodaki said and Nezuko nodded as they walked into the home, Sabito and Giyu staying behind.
"Sabito; is it true demons can be demon slayers?" Giyu asked and Sabito scoffed.
"How should I know. But, if Sensei trust her, guess we can't complain."
Nezuko stayed in Sagiri Mountain until the day of the final selection exam, and Giyu and Sabito got to trust Nezuko more. Sabito still wary of her, but he accepts her help still.
"Good luck out there." Nezuko wished to them as they left. Once they were out of sight, Urokodaki turned to Nezuko.
"May I request something from you?"
*Mt. Fujikasane*
Sabito panted, as the rest escaped from the hand demon. He held his broken sword and his mask was shattered on the ground. After another strike of the demon, he failed to stand up, but was satisfied as everyone escaped. He closed his eyes, ready to die, as the demon bought his claws towards him.
"Shichi no Kata: Keifu-Tengu Kaze (Seventh Form: Gale-Sudden Gusts)"
Sabito opened one eye, to see the demon be destroyed, as Nezuko landed, holding her blade, a green with pink color.
"Sabito! Don't worry! Everything will be fine!" she reassured him and he chuckled.
"It is too late for me now. But thank you... thank you for your effort." He said, as his eyelids started to feel heavy.
"Sabito... do you want to live?" Nezuko asked and Sabito hummed.
"I guess. But I doubt you can make it to the exit without being attacked."
Nezuko nodded "You're right. But there is another way." she said "Join our ranks, and keep on living."
Sabito eyed her, his grey eyes examining her "Just promise me... I won't hurt a single human."
Nezuko smiled at him as she bit her thumb, drawing blood. "I promise you."

"So, what do you want to eat after this?" Kabuto asked Rui who seemed to think his answer. Both were wearing demon slayer uniforms, Kabuto with his black haori and straw kasa and Rui with a white haori with spider web designs.
They were walking in the dead of night across a village, information of an Upper Moon roaming the area made them come here.
"Hm... Mochi!" Rui announced and Kabuto chuckled as he took out a bottle of sake from inside his haori and took a sip.
"Heh, that's why you are short." He teased and Rui pouted at him.
"I am short because I am still growing!"
"Sure, you are."
They stopped talking as two women stopped in front of them. Dressed in demon slayer uniforms, one glaring at them and other smiling.
"These are the demons from the report?" The smaller one asked and the taller one hummed.
"I thought it was only one."
"Hey, before you got all aggressive; we are here for the same thing." Kabuto raised his hands and smiled friendly, but that only seemed to anger the short one even more.
"Like I would believe that!" She spat and Kabuto chuckled nervously. Rui smirked.
"Nee-San, you need to relax a bit. If we were bad demons, you would be dead already." He teased and a vein popped on her forehead.
"Why you little-"
"Rui, cut it out. / Shinobu, please behave." Kabuto and the taller woman scolded respective companion.
Rui giggled and Shinobu growled "I think we started with the wrong foot here. My name is Kabuto Yamazaki and the runt here is Rui. We are from the Moon Slayer Corps and we came for the report of an Upper Moon in the area."
The taller woman smiled kindly at him "What a nice surprise! My name is Kanae Kocho, the Flower Pillar. Oyakata-Sama informed us of your Corps. The Night and the Spider Pillar, right?"
Rui eyes widen in joy "Look Kabuto! Yoriichi-Sama was right, they are taking a friendlier approach!"
Kabuto laughed "I can see that. So, what you say if we work together? That way we can cover more space and if it turns out to be stronger than expected, we can take him easier."
Kanae nodded still smiling "What an excellent idea!"
"Sister! You can't agree to this!" Shinobu said angrily at her sister easy going attitude with two demons. "For all we know, they can be lying and be working with Muzan!"
"Nee-San, it is rude to make assumptions like those. Especially when accusing us of working with that worm." Rui glared at Shinobu that glared back.
Kanae giggled and Kabuto sighed "Well, the offer still stands if you wish to work together. Let's go Rui." he said and dragged Rui away as he stuck his tongue to Shinobu.
Shinobu sighed and turned to her sister "Sister, what they said, of being of demon slayers, was it true?"
Kanae hummed "It is hard to tell." she said "Oyakata-Sama informed us that we will be working with another Demon Slayer Corps, but I never expected them to be demons."
Shinobu felt her eye twitch "So, there is a chance that those demons are killing people?"
Kanae smiled "But there is a chance that they are saving people too!"
Shinobu groaned as she stormed off making Kanae chuckle.
In the end, the sisters divided to cover more ground and Kanae stopped in front of a curious looking man.
It was a pale man with golden pale hair, long blue nails and rainbow color eyes. But that identified him.
Engraved in his eyes, the kanjis for Upper Rank Two.
"Oh my! Hello young lady, isn't the moon beautiful tonight?" The demon asked cheerfully as he hide his smile behind his fan.
Kanae smiled and nodded "It truly is." Then she got serious "I imagine you are the demon from the reports."
The demon chuckled "Maybe I am, maybe I am not. But let's stop talking about me! Why don't you introduce yourself? I rather know who I am eating." He laughed at his own joke.
"Kanae Kocho." Kanae informed him and the demon who hummed.
"A beautiful name for a beautiful woman." He praised her "My name is Doma, and thank you for the meal."
Doma was in front of Kanae who took a deep breath "Ni no Kata: Mikage Ume. (Second Form: Honorable Shadow Plum)"
Doma attack got deflected, giving Kanae an opening. She quickly tried to cut his head but the sword got stuck on his neck "Oh my, that was almost worrisome." Doma remarked as he gripped one of his fans.
He bought it down, creating ice shards ready to stab Kanae but she quickly took her sword out of his neck and dodged "Roku no Kata: Uzumomo. (Sixth Form: Whirling Peach)" She put all her body weight as she spins, hitting her blade on Doma's neck again, only now in the opposite side, but it ended with the same result, the blade getting stuck on the demon's neck.
Doma laughed as blood came from his mouth "Wonderful! Simply wonderful! But-" Kanae pulled her blade out just as ice shards were stabbed on her stomach "Not good enough."
Kanae watched how Doma's neck already healed, but she managed to stay on her feet, making Doma gasp "Oh my! Most people already drop dead after that attack! How impressive dare I say!"
Kanae smiled at him "I am not like most people." she took a deep breath "Go no Kata: Ada no Shakuyako. (Fifth Form: Peonies of Futility)"
She threw a graceful flurry of 9 strikes, Doma blocking 5, getting hit by 4, but by the smile on his face, he seemed to have ignored the pain.
"What a strong woman! As a token of my appreciation," Kanae felt how ice stabbed her on the chest, as she stumbled some steps back "I will devour you now."
Kanae fell to her knees, using her blade as support to not fall. Doma chuckled, covering his mouth with a fan "It was fun, but now, it is my time to enjoy."
"Shi no Kata: Kisei. (Fourth Form: Comet)"
Doma's chest was cut as he jumped back from Kabuto's attack. Kanae looked at him, her vision started to get blurry from the blood loss. "Kabuto..."
Kabuto smiled at her "Sorry for not arriving earlier. I just got the smell of blood."
Doma hummed "And who might this gentleman be? I can't help but to think I saw your face before..." He stabbed his finger inside his head and started to twist it as he hummed "Ah! Now I remember! The Night Pillar from those pesky rebel demon organization, right? Kabuto-Dono?"
Kabuto smirked "The one and only. It is nice you know me."
Doma chuckled "Of course, of course! You had gained quite the reputation if I say so myself." He looked at the horizon, as the first ray of sunlight started to appear "But we will have to see if you live to it another time, I will take my leave now."
Doma turned to leave, and Kabuto let him, more worried of the condition of Kanae. "Hey, how are you holding up?" He asked her with a worried smile and she managed a weak laugh.
"Not so good... it hurts to breathe..." Kabuto laid her down and removed the ice, making Kanae hiss.
"Don't worry, you'll live." He reassured her and Kanae smiled.
"To think that a demon would try to save my life... I knew we could become friends..." She said before she coughed some blood "But I don't think I will make it. My wounds are too severe."
Kabuto lost his smile at those words "There is a way... but, you will have to quit some things, at least for a while."
Kanae raised a weak brow "Will I... will I see my sister again?"
Kabuto smiled and nodded "You will, you have my word." He said as the sun started to show itself more and more.
"Very well, just... let me leave something for her."
When Shinobu arrived to the scene, only blood and her sister haori were there.
And in the forest, after drinking Kabuto's blood, Kanae opened her purple eyes with slits on them now.

Some days ago, something happened... something he never thought it would be possible.
He got his memories back.
His name was Hakuji, he had a sick father who killed himself in shame, he used to have someone he loved and loved him back.
Koyuki...
Now, as Akaza, the Upper Rank Moon Three, feels... hollow.
He hasn't received any orders from Muzan, so he just wander the land and eats. His drive to become the strongest has left him. All this time, the instinct to become stronger... was because when he was a human, he wanted to be stronger to make Keizo proud and to make Koyuki feel safe...
Dammit...
Without noticing it, he arrived at a town, and the first person he saw, was a pregnant woman, who leaned against a wall. For some reason, he walked towards her and she noticed, her eyes remaining in pain but calm.
"You are a demon." She stated and Akaza nodded, no need to hide it. His skin, hair and tattoos give it away. "Are you going to eat me?" She asked.
She looked so weak, so pathetic, so broken, just looking at her makes him want to throw up, but... Koyuki was the same...
"I don't eat women." He invented that excuse and the woman raised a brow.
"Well, can you at least take me to a clinic?" Akaza nodded, she was pregnant and seemed to be about to give birth.
He isn't sure why; he is helping a human. He can't explain it. But he carried her towards a clinic, kicked the door open and the one doctor seemed shocked.
"A-A demon!? What do you want here monster!?"
Akaza ignored him and placed the woman on the bed "She is giving birth." He simply stated and the doctor nodded and got to work. Akaza was going to leave when the woman grabbed his arm and looked at him with a pained look on her eyes.
"Please... stay..." She begged and the doctor almost trips over.
"Hanako-Chan, you can't consider to let a demon of all things stay during the birth of your child!" He said but the woman, Hanako, just begged at him with only her teary eyes.
Akaza nodded and held her hand "Don't worry, I won't move."
Hanako smiled "Thank you..."
Some hours passed, and Akaza didn't move, he just held her hand and comforted her as the doctor worked. Until the cry of a newborn baby started.
The doctor, Teichi, handed the newborn girl to Hanako who held her with a smile "She is beautiful..." Hanako nodded at Akaza's words.
"Yes, she is..." She chuckled "I don't have a name for her thought..." She looked at him "Want to hold her?"
Akaza gulped and nodded, as he carefully picked her up and looked at her. She... was so fragile and delicate... the baby stopped crying in his arms and nuzzled to his chest.
Hanako giggled "She seems to like you, Mr. Demon."
Akaza smiled "Yeah... it seems like that."
Hanako stopped smiling "What is your name?"
Akaza raised a brow from her sudden attitude change "Akaza."
She nodded "Akaza-san... please..."
"Take care of my daughter." She asked as Akaza eyes widen.
"What!? Do you plan to drop your daughter just like that!?" Akaza demanded infuriated by her attitude.
"It is to protect her... my husband will try to sell her if she grows with good looks."
Akaza nodded as she handed her the baby confusing her "Tell me where you live. I'll deal with your husband."
Hanako didn't answer, instead it was Teichi "At the border of the town, the house with red walls."
Akaza nodded as he stood up and walked to the door, there are still a few hours before sun rise. "Can I ask you for something?" Akaza asked Hanako that nodded. "Can you name her... Koyuki?"
"Koyuki..." Hanako hummed "It is a great name." She looked at the door, but Akaza already left.
Next morning, the whole house was destroyed and the man inside devoured.
*Months Later*
Akaza found himself living around the town, surviving on wild animals and sleeping. He visited every night Hanako and Koyuki who lived with Doctor Teichi.
On his way to the clinic, another demon got in front of him. "Hello, can you help me?" The demon with a green checkered haori asked him. He was wearing a demon slayer uniform also and holding a blade.
"I'm busy, scram." He spoke. He knows that this demon is one of the many that oppose Muzan, so maybe he came for him.
The demon smiled kindly at him "Please sir, my sister was kidnapped. I need help. Your help, Akaza-San."
Akaza was getting fed up with this demon. "I told you I am busy. Now scram!"
He walked pass the demon who remained there "You think you can protect them from Muzan?"
Akaza froze. Ever since he came here, he has been dreading the day that Muzan decides a mission for him, and that he would reject it. He is ready to fight him if that means keep them safe.
"I can. And I will."
"I can offer you something more. Freedom and the strength to make that promise come true." the demon said and Akaza eyed him, before nodding.
"What you need?"
The demon smiled at him "Your help to save my sister. I know you know where she is."
Akaza nodded "Let me say goodbye, just in case I don't make it back."
Tanjiro nodded, he knew he was a good person.
*At the Meeting Point*
"Tanjiro! Did you lose your damn mind!?" Sabito demanded, wearing his fox mask as Tanjiro came with Akaza following him.
"An Upper Rank..." Kanae said and Tanjiro chuckled.
"Relax, he is good. He is the demon that had been helping in that town."
"Bullshit." Sabito said and jumped from the branch he was sat on.
"Well Sabito, with Kabuto-kun and Yoriichi-sama busy, we need more help to fight the Upper Ranks in the meeting." Kanae said and Tanjiro nodded.
"That's right. Besides, Akaza-san already drank my blood. He just needs Tamayo-san medicine to be truly free of Muzan."
As Akaza listened how he was defended, he thought back on the Hanako, Koyuki and the doctor. If this fails, they will pay as well, fully aware of Muzan's rage.
"Oi. Akaza." He looked up to see Sabito pointing his blade at him "If you even think of betraying us, I'll cut you."
Akaza growled and pushed Sabito's blade out of the way. "I am not one to go back on my word." He eyed Tanjiro "Remember our deal."
Tanjiro nodded "I do. Now show the way."
Entering the hiding spot was easy, due that it wasn't the Infinity Castle, but the hard part would be to leave. "She should be at the last room!" Akaza informed punching another wave of demons.
"Got it!" Tanjiro said cutting more demons as the four made their way to the last room. Akaza kicked the door open and inside. "Sabito! Kanae! Make an escape route!"
Doma and Nezuko turned to the open door and Kokushibo opened his eyes, before narrowing them seeing Tanjiro. "Akaza-Dono!? Are you betraying us?" Doma cried "But we were just best friends some years ago." He lamented as Kokushibo stood up and created a flesh sword.
"Akaza, take Nezuko out of here, I'll distract them." Tanjiro said as he attacked Doma but Kokushibo got in front, starting the fight between them.
Akaza first thing to do, was punch Doma sending him flying to another room. Doma chuckled "Well, I always knew you packed a punch, but I never thought I would experience it." He joked and Akaza grinned.
"There is more from what that came from." he said and got in pose, before the muffled voice of Nezuko grabbed his attention. He growled, confusing Doma "This ain't over." He grabbed Nezuko, ripping the ropes holding her and made a race to the exit.
"Ju no Kata: Senmenzan-Ragetsu. (Tenth Form: Drilling Slashes-Moon Through Bamboo Leaves)"
"Juuni no Kata: Kuro Ryu no Maiagaru! (Twelfth Form: Soar of the Black Dragon)"
Kokushibo and Tanjiro's attacks clashed and Tanjiro caught from the corner of his Akaza leaving with Nezuko, he pushed Kokushibo back and run behind them.
Kanae and Sabito managed to clean most demons as they all escaped.
As they reached the meeting point, Nezuko removed her bamboo muzzle and smiled at Akaza "Thank you!"
Akaza nodded as he put her down. Tanjiro smiled at him "So, what you say about joining us?"
Akaza smiled at him "Guess that it doesn't sound that bad. As long Hanako, Koyuki and the doc come, I am in."

"Please marry me!" Nobara, who was babysitting Koyuki and decided to go out for a walk with the baby, stopped to see a blonde boy, with a demon slayer uniform and a yellow haori bow down in front of her.
She looked to the sides and when she realized it was her who was being asked, she blushed "W-Wait! I don't even know you!"
"But that can be solved quickly! Let's get married and we will know each other like that! I will take care of your daughter even!"
"I am only babysitting her!" She screamed back "Besides, aren't you scared?" She asked and the boy lifted his head, taking note of her appearance. Pale skin, slitted eyes... oh no.
"AAHH! A DEMON!" The boy jumped and screamed as Koyuki started to cry, scared of that one scream.
"No, no. Koyuki-Chan don't cry, please." She comforted the human baby and Zenitsu stopped to think. Her heartbeat sounds nice, not evil or... demon like.
"H-Hey," She glared at him making him shriek "A-Aren't you going to eat me?"
"No! What kind of kink you have to just ask random girls that!?" She accused and Zenitsu shook his head.
"N-No! It is not like that... is that, you sound nice..."
"Well yeah. I don't eat humans." Seeing his sceptic look she sighed "Follow me and you'll see."
That day, Zenitsu discovered the Moon Slayer Corps (by accident) and decided to join. Due to the kindness of the demons and because he declared his love to Nobara. Which annoyed her immensely.
"I don't even know you!"
"Nobara-Chan! Don't ignore me!"
Rui who watched his sister walk away with the blonde kid clinging to her ankle, looked at Tanjiro who laughed.
"Nii-San... what just happened?"
Tanjiro chuckled as he scratched the back of his head "You remember when Kabuto and Kanae came to the meeting together holding hands?" Rui made a disgusted face but nodded "Like that, only that Nobara-San doesn't want to hold hands."
Rui sighed in relief "Thank kami. That's gross. Especially when they kiss." He stuck his tongue out and Tanjiro ruffled his hair.

"Fight me, Gonpachiro!" Sabito groaned and Tanjiro chuckled as they made their way back to the base.
"This idiot again?" Sabito asked annoyed and Tanjiro turned to the boar head wearing teen.
"Hello Inosuke. Sadly, I can't fight you right now." Inosuke ignored that as he started to attempt punch him, but Tanjiro just dodged.
Sabito watched that with annoyance, until he had enough. He hit Inosuke with the hilt of his blade on the back of the head and Tanjiro caught him "That was unnecessary." Tanjiro said and he could feel Sabito glare at him behind his mask.
"Also, it was... whatever you two did. Now, he is your friend, you deal with him." Sabito said as he walked ahead and Tanjiro got an idea.
"Well, he can join us. He has potential." Sabito growled.
"At this point. I don't care."
When Inosuke woke up, he started to chase Tanjiro until he was calmed by Tamayo.
"You know; Tanjiro is one of the strongest slayers we have." Tamayo said to Inosuke who smirked.
"Well, I am better!"
Tamayo smiled at him and patter his shoulder "I doubt it." A vein popped on his forehead, "But if you stay here and train, maybe one day you can be. After all, Tanjiro has at least a century of training."
Inosuke accepted the challenge and auto-declared himself the strongest human in the Moon Slayer Corps.
A/N: The Zenitsu and Inosuke parts are shorter, because honestly, I am tired of writing this long-ass chapter. Also, don't get used to chapters this long. It is a one-time thing.
