I could not stop myself from writing. The lyrics you'll find in this story are from:

Rea Garvey – Can't say no

Sunrise Avenue – Point of no return.

You might wanna listen to them if you don't know them already. In this story, I picture a younger Bobby but it is totally up to you where this is set in the show. Of cause, I know that those songs are probably too new to be set in the timeline with the show but I don't care.

Stranger

Time: Unknown

Character: Bobby/Alex

Gerne: Romance? Humor? I don't know.

Bobby watched his partner she seemed to be in a very good mood today. Alex even finished her paperwork with a smile.

"What's up with you?" he asked.

She looked at him and grinned: "I have a great plan for tomorrow night."

"New boyfriend?" Please say no, please Eames. Just say no.

She shook her head and smiled: "Some old friends are in town and we have tickets for a private concert in Central Park."

"How private?"

"Only 200 people."

"Who is playing?"

She grinned: "You would not know them."

"Try me!"

"Okay, Sunrise Avenue, Rea Garvey, James Blunt, and some others." She said watching his face, "See you don't know any of them!"

Bobby smiled his little boy smile: "You are right."

She nodded and gathered her stuff to leave.

"You should take a rain jacket tomorrow it's supposed to rain in the evening." He suggested.

She laughed lightly. "It's also supposed to be 96 degrees, there is no way I'm taking a rain jacket with me."

He simply shrugged: "Okay, have fun."

"I will."

BABABA

Bobby spends the Saturday helping his friend Lewis to clean an old-timer and when he walked home he heard the music coming from Central Park. He could not help it he was curious. After pulling out his badge in front of the security he was let in without any questions.

It took him some time to spot her in the crowd. She was dancing in a group of four women. It was not his kind of dance. He liked Rumba or Waltz those were dances he was good at but this was jumping and moving to the music without specified steps and still, he wished to join her and her friend.

His eyes were glued on Alex. She looked so amazing with her white tight tank top. The back of the top was made of transparent lace and he couldn't see a bra. He swallowed as his gaze wandered further down. This skirt was way too short for anyone. He would have considered it more as a belt. Her hair was up in a ponytail and some strands of hair framed her face. She looked like a girl in her twenties and danced barefoot as all the others did. Her smile was so bright, so free and she sang along the lyrics with all the others.

She dances
Dance in the broad daylight

'Cause I can't say, no...
No I can't say, no...
I'm ten feet tall when she's by my side
But I can't say no...
To her smile

The lyrics echoed in his head, the image of her would never leave his brain. Without her shoes, he would surely feel like he was ten feet tall and he knew he always felt taller when she was with him.

The band switched places with another artist and the music changed to something that sounded like Salsa music and Bobby could only watch how she moved. Her hips swaying her arms up in the air, her whole body moved like a flame to the rhythm of the music.

After the song, she went with her friend to get some water. A man approached the group asking her to dance but she shook her head smiling, finished her water, and followed the girls back to the dance floor.

Bobby was always a very observant man so he saw many guys coming towards his partner asking her or one of her friends to dance but they only laughed and turned away.

By the time another band entered the stage, it started to rain slightly but nobody seemed to mind. It was still warm. And when they started a song with the name "Point of no return" Bobby found himself moving forward through the crowd. Alex turned in his direction and saw him. He would never forget that smile on her face.

"Hey, stranger." She said before he joined her in the dance without asking. His hands made contact with the skin of her back. An almost electrifying feeling. She smiled brightly and they danced along with the crowd. Suddenly it was no problem for him that he loved other dances more. With his hands on her back, her hips, her ass he loved every dance.

Oh, I'm by your side now, it's all fine now
And baby, we have passed the
Point of no return

He would never forget this summer night. Never! Just as the song ended the downpour started to soak the dancers. He heard the crowd yelling in surprise and Eames was pulled to the exit along with her friends. She turned around one last time.

"Thanks for the dance!" then she was gone and Bobby stood in the pouring rain remembering the feeling of her skin under his fingers and her smile.

24 hours later he sat at home musing. If she would have really just been a stranger at a concert he would have asked for her phone number … but she wasn't and he had her number. But what would he say if he could bring himself to call her? "Hey, Eames…" Yes that would be a good start, or wouldn't it? "Hey, Alex…" much better and after that? He was pulled out of his thoughts when he heard his phone rang.

Half an hour later he arrived at the crime scene. She was already there. "Hey, stranger." She said and they shared a "work-smile" and started to investigate the crime scene.
