Things were pretty calm and quiet until an automatic tree trimmer went crazy and was damaging the town. The alarm went off. "Guys we have problem Automatic Tree trimmer going haywire," Alan said.
"Hot shot we have to monitor the situation from the watch room," Hannah said.
"On it and we will be ready to spring," Hot shot said.
"Oh no rookie this one is too dangerous for young rookie like you and kid like Hannah so stay here and monitor," Heatwave said.
"But Heatwave," Hot shot said.
"No buts! Do as your told," Heatwave said. Travis climbed into Heatwave. "Ready Travis?" he asked.
"I guess but you should be more ready than me you have more different kinds of rescue experience than me," Travis said.
"I can hardly believe they are aliens," James said getting into Boulder.
"Come on guys let's go," Ally said getting into Blades.
"Kids we have to get going before someone get's hurt," Libby said.
The team chased the Tree trimmer. Heatwave and Boulder managed to shut it down. "That was too close," Alan said.
"I know," Libby said.
Things were pretty calm and the bots and the family were still trying to get to know one another. "Optimus we are trying our best but I think our human partners still need to work on working with us and us with them. My partner respects me but he seems to not tell me what is on his mind or if I need tell him anything if he can help me," Heatwave said.
"Well I get along with Alan fine," Chase said.
"I get along well with Libby swimmingly," Ambula said.
"I get along with Hannah we went for a ride through the forest yesterday," Hot shot said. "But I wish I could go on more rescue missions," he said.
"Hot shot you are not ready to go on really rescue missions yet is what I feel you must watch and learn first," Heatwave told him.
"I know but I have been doing it for years, and I want to help," Hot shot said.
"Hot shot you are not ready to help like that," Heatwave said.
"Excuse me I going to see if Hannah wants to go for a ride I had it right now," Hot shot said leaving.
"Heatwave I think you are being a bit to protective of young Hot shot," Chase said.
"Well Hannah is his partner and she is just a kid too so if she is not ready to go out like that neither is he," Heatwave said.
"Hannah has been teaching us about earth," Blades said.
"Then listen to Hannah, the young of the humans can be the most trusted of allies," Optimus said. "Heatwave, Hot shot needs his chance, keep in mind he needs room to grow and I know you are in charge of this mission and you and the other rescue bots were charged with training him, but there is only so much Hot shot can learn from watching he also needs to try to learn with hands on experience too, and good luck Rescue bots," he said.
Hannah saw her siblings. "You know back on Cybertron Heatwave was a firefighter," Hannah told Travis.
"I know and he has way more experience than me, he probably thinks I am some rookie," Travis said.
"I doubt that just try working with him and talking," Hannah said. Then she saw James. "James, Boulder is a great engineer and I bet he would love to learn about earth engineering and teach you about engineering on his home world," she said.
"I guess and Hannah I am a little busy," James said.
"Blades loves to fly and he hopes to become good partners with you, but he is worried about how hard is his accent makes it to talk in robot voice and maybe you can help him because you are great at imitating accents," Hannah told Ally.
"Maybe but that is a tall order Hannah," Ally said.
Hannah took them down to the bunker and found Hot shot sulking. "What's his problem?" Travis asked.
"What's wrong Hot shot?" Hannah asked.
"Heatwave, he won't let me do anything but watch, it's been like that ever since I was assigned to him and his team years ago. I had been watching even long before that day we went to stasis and then came here. He treats me like a.. you know," Hot shot said.
"Like a baby?" Hannah asked.
"Yes, like something that is tiny and weak and can't do anything and does he listen to me no," Hot shot said.
The rest of the bots came in and Hot shot continued his sulking. Heatwave saw Hot shot sulking and knew why. They were trying to communicate with them. Then Alan called. "We have situation there is a fire at the gas station," he said.
"Rescue bots roll to the rescue." Heatwave said.
They headed to the gas station. Heatwave and Travis were working on putting our the fire.
Hannah was with Hot shot playing a game.
"The fire is going out and there seem to be molten lava." James said.
"Lava and there is more over here," Libby said.
"Heatwave behind you," Travis said spraying the water on the lava that got near Heatwave's foot.
"Thanks Travis." Heatwave said.
Hannah called Dr. Talvir. "Dr. Talvir does this island have a volcano or something because we are having a lava issue," she said.
"This Volcano was made as an experiment years ago and has a pipe in the earth's core and the pressure must be building causing this is issue, and the lava must be released in a slow controlled eruption or it will be bad, this is where is it is," Dr. Talvir said.
Hannah told the team.
"Hannah told us what we have to do and that is erupt a volcano and it is our only option," Alan said.
"We will do this to help you since we could save our home, now we can save yours," Ambula said.
The bots went to help as Hannah and Hot shot went back to their game.
Boulder and James started to look for the switch. "Okay here I go," Boulder said using his seismic imaging. "There it is," he said and dug it up.
"Ally and Blade's it's ready for you set to it's lowest setting," James said.
"Got it," Ally said.
"Ready Travis?" James asked.
"Yes," Travis said.
Blades pulled the switch with his hook.
Then flew away from the volcano as James and Boulder got off.
Travis and Heatwave began to spray the lava to cool it off.
Ally noticed something. "Guys we have a problem some of the lava is going into a tunnel," she said.
"A tunnel? Don't they all lead back to the firehouse?" Boulder asked.
"Hot shot is there," Heatwave said.
"So is Hannah," Travis said.
"This schematic it's out dated how was I suppose to know we need to do something," James said.
"We needed to cool the lava, Heatwave can I trust on your help," Travis said.
"Of course," Heatwave said.
"Boulder map the tunnels so we can find out how they can get there quicker," James said.
"On it," Boulder said and did seismic imaging and came up with the map.
"Good now let's go," Travis said getting into Heatwave.
They went inisde.
"Hey look over there." Blade said.
"It's a water tower good work Blades, but we can't make it there on foot," Ally said.
Blades took off towards it. "Blades the ash it could make your rotor freeze," Ally told him.
"Hannah needs help so it doesn't matter to me okay," Blades told her.
Travis and Heatwave were cooling the lava in the tunnel. Then Heatwave stopped spraying all the sudden. "I am out of water." he said.
"We got to do something," Travis said.
Then Blades and Ally came with the water tower and dropped it on James' signal.
It cooled off. "That was too close," Travis said.
They made it to the bunker.
Travis saw Hannah and hugged her. Heatwave hugged Hot shot. "Don't you two ever scare us like that again." Travis said.
"What did we do?" Hannah asked.
Then the next day the rescue bot symbol was painted on the wall inside the fire house. "Looks like this is their home now officially," Hannah said.
"It sure is," Travis said.
The others agreed.
