.3950: sorry to say but this info is impossible. There is no way it can be that since the Z fighters for all we know don't exist in Universe 8. What you state sounds more like an alternate timeline of universe 7 and one I have ever heard of before. If this is from one of those youtube videos or discussions about what if this happened, I must state that those are "what if"s and are not canon to the series. Much like fanfics :)

LFeat: the issue is that none of the rest of universe 8 is known. And he is referring to the team as a whole. Naruto is powerful as well as Sasuke but they are leagues upon leagues ahead of the rest of them so as a team they cannot be known as the strongest but with their skill, they have workarounds to the other teams

This Naruto is BEFORE Boruto and THE LAST naruto movie. Meaning that any character fights in the Boruto series have not happened. I have not fully seen the boruto series, only small bits here and there
Chapter 2: an ally amongst enemies
Hinata was eyeing the two girls that they had just talked to and puffed out her cheeks in a cute pout as she could tell immediately what they had on their minds. especially the one called Kale
Caulifla was smirking at her friend who was trying her best to disappear from her friend's gaze. "So… mister tricks huh."
Kale squirmed at this as she looked away from Caulifla to hide the blush that covered her face. She turned away as Caulifla tried to get into her face but she kept turning away
Caulifla kept getting in Kale's face and snickered at her best friends reaction "aw, Kale has a crush~"
"N-no I don't!"
Caulifla laughed at Kale "then why are you blushing so hard?" she then wrapped her arm around the blushing girl "come on, you can tell me. You like him don't you?"
Kale shook her head as she tried to find the words "I….I just...think he's …..cute…" her voice kept getting quieter as she spoke as she never had felt this way before and she had no clue on how to handle it
Caulifla smirked as she looked over to where Naruto was and looked him up and down. "Well, he isn't the worst-looking guy I've seen. Heck, he's the first guy I've seen with those whisker marks."
Kale looked over towards Naruto as she focused on his face "I...think they're cute."
Cabba walked over to the two as he wondered what they were doing a bit away from the rest of the team. "hey, you two. What are you talking about?"
Caulifla turned around to face Cabba with Kale still in her arms. "Kale here has a crush on that spiky-haired blonde over there." she jammed a thumb over her shoulder to gesture towards Naruto
Cabba looked over her shoulder to see who she was talking about "oh really? That's great. For Kale to finally find interest in someone is a good thing."
Caulifla smirked as she looked back at the blonde "yeah, well she ain't the only one."
Cabba took a step back in shock at what he heard "what really?! You too?"
The bandit Saiyan looked at her male friend with narrowed eyes "gotta problem with that?"
Cabba waved his hands in panic as he did not want to gain her fury "nonononono! Nothing like that! It's just that usually you tend to scare off any guy that tries to get together with you."
Caulifla scoffed as she rolled her eyes. "Spineless wimps. They run away the first time they talk to me but that guy….." she looked at Naruto for a moment before smiling "something about him tells me that he would stand up to me and not back down no matter how much power I show. Though, I wonder what he would say if I went Super Saiyan."
Kale puffed out her cheeks as she heard her best friend express her interest in the blonde but she kept quiet as she had no confidence in her chances.
The gang leader noticed Kale's mood and smirked as she brought her up. "Oh come on, Kale. have some confidence in yourself. I'll tell you what. You can have the first kiss then I can have the second."
Kale blushed hard again at the thought of kissing the boy that she didn't even know for more than a few minutes.
Cabba sighed as he shook his head. He shouldn't be surprised at this since it was the kind of thing he would suspect his friend to do. He looked at the male that the girls seemed to be fond of now and felt pity for him. 'If Caulifla gets her hands on him….she might beat him within an inch of his life before she asks him out.'
The Konoha shinobi stood on their own as they looked at the competition of the Tournament of power.
"Hey, Naruto, Sasuke?"
The two boys looked to see Ino looking at them with a questioning look. "Do you have any idea on how well we can do against these guys?"
Sasuke looked around with his Sharingan and Rennisharingan looking at everyone. "The energy they have is somewhat different from what we all use." he turned to Hinata and asked, "can you activate your byakugan and see what you can gather?"
Hinata nodded as she activated her dojutsu and looked at everyone. "there ….energy seems almost incomplete compared to ours. Like they only use half of what makes chakra up."
Sasuke nodded as he looked at Naruto while speaking loud enough for his group to hear "so what our 'god of destruction' and 'kai' told us is true. The way they use energy is the separation of the spiritual and physical. Instead of combining them to create chakra like we all do they seem to just use the spiritual side of it. Though I am not sure how they do it I can say that what they can do will be very different from what we can do."
Choji munched on a chip as he spoke up. "*munch* think we could learn how to do it? You said that they are using half of chakra. So maybe we could do the same?"
Shikamaru sighed as he looked at his friend. "I doubt it. From what our 'kai' said, they were taught to do it early in their lives. We all learned to mix our physical and spiritual energies together at an instinctive level. To change the way we use it at this point would be too troublesome. Our best bet would be to just use what we have. Remember, that we don't have much at stake here…." he looked at the rest of the universe teams with a solemn look. "Unlike the rest of them."
Kiba grew angered at the reminder as he crossed his arms "I don't like it. To just erase an entire universe like that doesn't sit right with me."
Akamaru gave a bark of his agreement
Sasuke understood Kiba's anger but he also understood that they couldn't do anything. "Despite how we feel about it, we are in no position to go against the 'Omni King'." he looked up to where the two Omni kings and head angel were positioned as he continued to speak "from what we were shown by our gods, we don't stand a chance at ever fighting them. They make Kaguya look like a fresh out of the academy genin vs Madara." he looked at Naruto and continued "best chance we have is to win the whole thing ourselves. The super dragon balls must be the gods' version of what we were shown so maybe we could wish that the universes aren't destroyed. Though the odds are against us."
Naruto nodded as he agreed with Sasuke's assessment. "Maybe another team could make the same wish."
Lee jumped in excitement "YES! What a youthful idea!"
Sakura shook her head as she brought up a point. "Yeah, but who would want to give up such a thing. People wouldn't just give up something like that for something so selfless."
Naruto shrugged "who knows." he looked at all the other teams and couldn't really see any that would listen to him if he asked them to try and use the wish to save the other universes. Sure there were a few individuals that looked nice enough but the teams as a whole make it seem like a poor choice. After looking through the teams, his eyes landed on the only other team that seemed to have more humans than anything else. "Maybe them?"
The rest of the Konoha shinobi looked at where NAruto was gesturing and saw the team he meant. Most of them were human and the one that they all gathered around, a man in an orange Gi, looked to be the most approachable one.
Shino looked to his friends "we do not know of their true character but it is best that we at least try."
Everyone else nodded as they all began to make their way towards the other team
The Grand priest was watching the extra team with a keen eye. He was able to overhear everything that they had said and had a hidden smile on his face. 'Underdogs in the tournament yet potentially aiming for the win.' his eyes narrowed on the spiky-haired blonde male. This supposed leader of the team had been secretly releasing several objects wherever he walked. On close inspection, they appeared to be nothing but rocks but the energy that could be felt from them told him otherwise. He would have disapproved of this if not for the fact that Liquir and Iru had made the request that with this team would come entertainment but their tactics are more….. "Sneaky". It was promised that they would not attempt to kill anyone and so the grand priest chose to ignore this for the sake of entertaining the Omni king.
Goku was excitedly looking at the competition around him as he tried to gauge how good of a fight he would get from them.
Vegeta clicked his tongue at how childish his rival could be sometimes, despite how he also held some excitement for this. "Calm yourself, Kakorote. The battle hasn't even started yet."
"I know but we have a few minutes to see what kind of fighter they are."
Gohan nodded as he agreed with his father "it would be good to understand who we are up against. At least to come up with a strategy on how to beat them."
18 and 17 looked around as they also analyzed them with 17 bringing up his thoughts "with the amount here, we won't have to fight all of them. Just the ones that pose the most threat."
Piccolo smirked as he turned his head "though there is one team that we don't have to really worry about."
Every one of the Z fighters turned to where Piccolo was facing to see the extra team come their way.
Goku, being the most social, raised a hand "hey there.'
Naruto smiled at the greeting as he knew that he would like to hang out with Goku. "hey"
Naruto smiled as he waved back "hey. Sorry for intruding on you but we wanted to talk to you about something in this tournament."
Krillin crossed his arms as he asked "what would you want to talk to us about? The tournament rules are pretty clear cut if you ask me."
Shikamaru stepped forward to stand by Naruto as he spoke up. "We came up with an idea that could be beneficial to all of those that are taking part."
Vegeta scoffed as he glared at them. "Beneficial for all of us or just you? From what I gather you are the only team that doesn't have anything on the line. Why should we listen to anything you have to say."
Naruto eyed Vegeta for a second before looking at Sasuke and then back to Vegeta. "Hmm….bigger stick."
Several of the shinobi tried their best to hold in their laughter as they knew what he meant by that comment.
Piccolo chose to move the conversation along. "They want to bring up the idea of all of us in the tournament getting a chance to go home."
The Z fighters looked to piccolo before looking back at the shinobi
Naruto picked up from here. "The rules state that all the losing universes will be erased and the last one standing gets to have one wish from the 'super' dragon balls. We had a thought on whether or not to use the wish to un-erase them."
This caught most of the Z fighters' sans piccolo by surprise as they had not thought about this.
Android 17 tilted his head as he asked "why would you bring this up with us? What makes you think that we would even humor the thought?"
Naruto pointed to Goku "because of him."
Goku pointed at himself as he asked "me?"
Naruto nodded "out of everyone here, he seems to be the most approachable, and with how your team stands around, it is clear that either he or Mr grumpy next to him, are the leader of your team."
Vegeta had a tick mark on his head at being called Mr grumpy by this newcomer
Goku turned to his team as he asked "what do you guys think?"
Gohan nodded as he agreed with the idea "I'm all for it."
Krillin rubbed his head "you know where I stand."
Tien smiled as he thought it was a very honorable thing to do. "I can agree to that.
17 and 18 looked at each other before shrugging
Piccolo smiled at the idea
Master roshi put his hands behind his back as he gave an agreeing "hmm"
Vegeta scoffed and turned away from the group but his eyes moved to Universe 6 and the young Saiyan that he had taken under his wing in a way.
Frieza chuckled before he spoke up. "The drivel of a naive fool."
Naruto looked to Frieza with a stoic face "and yet it is that so-called drivel that saves lives. Call me naive but it won't change how I am."
Frieza's smile dropped and turned into a sneer. "You remind me of a certain monkey."
Naruto just gave a cocky smile before making fun of the statement "ooh ooh eee." he turned to his team and nodded "let's get ready." With that, he led his team away from the Z fighters
Tien smiled at the leaving team before something occurred in his mind. "Would that wish even work? I mean Lord Zeno is erasing them completely."
Piccolo crossed his arms as he put in his two cents "we don't know the full extent of the super dragon balls but it is entirely possible. Best to have hope that it works."
Frieza scoffed as he walked away on his own. "Only if any of you are left to make it. But don't think me as part of your little heroic journey."
The shinobi were now separate from everyone as they went over their equipment.
Sasuke looked to Naruto as they discussed battle strategy. "So how should we go about this?"
Naruto thought about it for a second before speaking "we should hold off on using the big guns for now. We can focus on the small fry first and then work our way up to the heavy hitters."
Shikamaru joined the conversation as he already had his equipment set. "We don't know who can do what so as we work on the easy targets, we can use that time to observe the others. But we need to be careful since they are using their energy differently." he sighed as he finished "this is so troublesome. Why did you get me involved."
Ino chuckled as she leaned on his shoulder. "They didn't. We are doing this as repayment."
"Yeah yeah"
"ALL FIGHTERS!"
Every single fighter looked up towards the Grand priest as he began to speak to them all
"Welcome to the tournament to determine which universe is to remain. Know that no matter the victor, you are to bring entertainment to our Lords Zeno.
The two Zenos raised their hands as they both called out "HI!"
The grand priest smiled as he finished up. "All preparations have been set and the time for battle will begin. Battle to your utmost." he raised his hand in the air "the tournament begins in three…."
Caulifla grinned as she cracked her knuckles, raring to fight.
Kale nervously fidgeted where she stood before looking over to the shinobi and blushed at the whiskered blonde
"Two….."
Goku grinned as he adjusted his wristbands
Most of Universe 7 got into a circle as they prepared their ki for the battle
"One…"
The shinobi tensed as their eyes darted left and right to get the feel of where to go.
"BEGIN!"
Naruto smiled as he shouted out "let's go! SCATTER!" each of them jumped away in different directions to start their mission
And with that, the tournament of power had begun

Another short one but with little story to use, it is a given. This fic will mostly be fights and how I see them going
Ok, many of the readers have been stating that naruto and Sasuke are uber-powerful. The issue that I have with this is that nothing in the anime has shown them worthy enough to be as strong as many have set them up to be. Solar system destroyers? I have a hard time seeing it. Now I've looked around at videos and descriptions about their power level and I can possibly say that they might be strong enough for maybe cell games Saiyans but it IS hard to tell. Though there are actions in the Naruto series with such moves as creating and sending moons with the rinnegan. Again, I'm having a hard time placing where Naruto and Sasuke's power level would be
One thing a person brought up was this new Byron mod that Naruto has from the Boruto series. Let me reiterate that this is BEFORE Boruto. Heck, this is BEFORE the last Naruto movie.
I looked up the Byron mode and a piece of dialogue caught my attention when a friend of mine brought it up. And I see it as misleading. It says that Naruto is now generating energy in the same manner as the sun. This does not mean that he is as strong as the sun, but that he is generating energy like a sun would.
I just don't know where to place them in terms of power but those two are not the only ones that are part of the tournament.
Anyway don't know who will be the first to fight but I'll figure it out when I get to the next chapter
