The Ultimate Crossover
Chapter 2: First Contact
The Unforeseen Simulation Joint (USJ) was a place where heroes would be trained to deal with natural disasters and rescuing of all kinds. However, this time there was a true disaster which will later come to be known as the League of Villains. There were a bunch of third-rate thugs everywhere but the main problems were a guy with hands all over him; On his face, neck, hands, legs and just about anywhere you can think of, a guy wearing a white shirt, tie and grey overalls on top of a metal neck collar and a wispy essence emanating from his hands and head. No… it was more like he was the essence. Next to them was what looked like a bodybuilder with dark purple skin, but instead of having a regular human head, he had a long beak and an exposed brain. It seemed to have been highly damaged but, simply regenerated all of it's wounds and its entire arm.
Fighting against them were a bunch of teenagers who looked to be 15, some maybe 16, years of age and a large blonde man with two large rabbit-ear shaped spikes pointing upwards on his hairline. One of the kids had a dark blondish spiky hair and looked like he was about to exhaust his lungs from screaming at some other, rather short, kid with green hair. He had some orange and red glow around most of his body except the middle finger on his right hand, which seemed blackish purple indicating that it may have been injured somehow; maybe the monster's ability. The third kid also had spiky hair, but it was pure red and was looked to stand perfectly straight and stiff. He also had some sort of rock like body armour attached to his skin, that resulted in him looking less human. There was also some other kid with red and white hair that looked like he had some sort of ice-powers.
"Do all of them have powers or something?" Saitama wondered out loud.
"It would seem so, Master. They seem to have a firm grasp on how to control them as well. They might in fact be pro heroes," Genos responded.
"They're children, Genos, how would that be possible?" Saitama said "Besides, wouldn't the media be hounding kids like these. And that blonde guy doesn't look like a hero I know,"
"With all due respect Master, we have Child Emperor in Class S and the No. 1 hero Blast has never appeared on any media. For all we know, this is what he looks like," Genos suggested as he pointed to the large man.
"Good point," Saitama said, without paying attention to Genos and was instead trying to dig something out of his nose.
In the meantime, from All Might and the Class 1-A students' perspective, the greatest hero in the world and a group of heroes-in-training were fighting a group, some would say league, of villains to keep their comrades safe until the U. A's teachers arrived to provide backup. Izuku Midoriya, also known as Deku, had a stinging pain in his right arm, from using 30% of One For All's power on the bird creature but it was far better than the other times he had used it, all of which had resulted in him shattering all of the bones in his right arm and sometimes in both. He felt the pain recede, and he then made his way towards All Might and the others who were trying to fight back against the trio of villains.
"Face it, All Might. This Noumu was designed to go toe-to-toe with you at 100% of your power. Try as hard as you like, you can't win," taunted Shigaraki, the guy with the hands all over him.
"Do not boast of master's creations, Tomura Shigaraki," said Kurogiri, the guy that looked like purple fog. "However, he is, in essence, correct. These were developed by the finest minds in our arsenal,"
Ignoring the villains' taunting, All Might looked towards the front entrance of the USJ to make sure everyone was safe and accounted for. They were, and the only people 'missing' were the three fighting alongside him. However, he knew that he needed to get the students to safety and defeat the villains as quickly, otherwise the whole situation would get out of hand. At the very least, he would stall for time until backup could arrive and help him.
"Everything will be fine now. Why? Because I am here." He said his iconic line as he turned towards his students, "Return to the main entrance, you'll be safe there. Let me deal with this trash,"
"We're not leaving you behind," yelled Midoriya. "Not when you need our help. It was times like these where you tell everyone to keep smiling,"
"I appreciate your thinking Young Midoriya, but I'm not referring to the threat posed by the villains," All Might explained, "I am referring to what I'm about to do. It's an incredibly powerful move, but I need everyone in the vicinity to get clear so as to not get hit by it,"
Midoriya had already seen him yell 'Plus Ultra' and send the Noumu flying through the USJ's roof, but it managed to catch itself mid-flight and fly back into the half-destroyed building. All Might had hit him with over 300 hits and all of them were beyond a hundred percent of his power, so Izuku didn't know what else All Might had left in him.
"Discussing your plans with the enemy isn't a good idea, No. 1 Hero." Shigaraki said, with spit flowing out of his mouth, "Besides, look at you. You look like me when my master found me on the side of the street. Ragged, cold, alone, afraid and weak… The Symbol of Peace will perish,"
Damnit, All Might thought. He called my bluff. What other options do I have? I can't think of anything. I'll just have to play along with what I said. Muscle form has only a few minutes before giving out."
"Wrong on all counts, villain. This attack will be the last for you and your crew. And next, I will find your bosses and throw them all into prison to rot, like all evil deserves." All Might said in his usual exaggerated demeanour.
"Yeah, yeah, keep talking. We're about to defeat the final boss, Kurogiri, and then we kill all the remaining scrubs." Shigaraki commented as he looked towards the kids huddled towards the front gate.
"You will not touch a hair on their head, as long as I am here," All Might yelled back. His consciousness was about to collapse under the strain of holding his muscle form. One way or another, he knew how this was going to end. He was the invincible Symbol of Peace that everyone looked up to, and he was going to perish without even defeating the one person he was meant to when his mentor gave him One For All. He hated himself for not coming face-to-face with that man once again and defeating him, but he couldn't control his circumstances. He would just have to smile and press on, like how his mentor taught him.
"Villain," All Might said with his trademark smile, except it seemed a lot weaker this time, "To attack children attending the most prestigious hero school in the country is what someone seeking publicity would do. What is your motive?"
"Our motive? Well, what any good villain wants. Disrupt society, challenge the rules of the norm, world domination, mass murder and etc. What else did you think we wanted?" Kurogiri explained.
"Liar! Lowlifes like you have some other need for needing publicity, don't you?" accused All Might.
He saw right through it in a second. He really is the No. 1 Hero. For now, at least. Well, I don't have a reason to come clean, but the Symbol of Peace needs to know what he's going to die for. At least, that's what I think at and Master told me to always do what I think is right. Here goes," Shigaraki decided.
"Well, you see, All Might, my boss, the strongest villain to have ever walked this Earth, wants your head because you're the largest obstruction in his way to reuniting this world filled with rampant Quirk users. He will bring order and peace to everyone and everywhere." Shigaraki exclaimed with arms wide open looking to the USJ's roof. "And you All Might…. you can do nothing to stop it. This battle proves that only one of our finest creations, Noumu, is able to defeat you. Sure, this one's the strongest but yo- "
"Quiet, Tomura Shigaraki!" scolded Kurogiri, "I believe that's more than enough, don't you think,"
"My apologies, Kurogiri, for talking too much," apologised Shigaraki and then looked towards All Might. "Now then, All Might, disappear of the face of the Earth. Noumu…. Attack!"
The frenzied creature had just finished regenerating and charged towards All Might with the intent to kill. Todoroki threw a wall of ice in its way, but it pretty much walked through it. The other two were too far away to do anything, but Midoriya knew he could cover that distance in a fraction of a second, except it would cost his legs, and attempt to help All Might.
He saw no other option, so he decided to do it. He could feel the rush of wind and the energy of One For All coursing through his legs as he activated it. He could already feel it stinging a little bit but he chose to ignore it. Once he was at the peak of his power, he let go, and he was already ten feet across the floor.
"GET AWAY FROM HIM!" Midoriya screamed.
He started charging up One For All in his arm to attack the Noumu, but he didn't realise that Shigaraki had appeared right next to him with the use of Kurogiri's Warp Gate Quirk. Shigaraki stretched out his left hand to touch Deku and make him rot away, because that was Shigaraki's Quirk Decay.
"You really should think things through, buddy," he commented, "While your Quirk charges up, it's the most obvious thing in the world. NOW DIE!"
Midoriya saw his dreams flash before his eyes. How he wanted to be at the top, how he could see his mother's face beaming up at him from the crowd of everyone that looked up to him, how he wanted to be the next Symbol of Peace shining down on the world. He realised he couldn't do any of that. Not when he was about to die. At least, that's what he thought until he heard a voice.
"Incinerate,"
A massive beam of fire and light shot towards Shigaraki and the Noumu. It was enough to scorch the USJ's walls and the fireproof ground that Cementoss himself put in place. The Noumu was forced back several steps and Shigaraki barely escaped by stepping back through the portal that Kurogiri put in place. The beams completely avoided Midoriya, Kirishima, Todoroki and Bakugo showing that they were completely controlled, and they seemed to be two separate beams shot from the same source.
The flames receded, and behind them was a tall blonde teenager with what looked like a flamethrower on top of his right arm. His irises were golden, but his eyes were black, and they looked like they were glowing even more, due to the flames around them. He also looked like he was scanning the Noumu and the other two villains.
"These two don't seem exceptionally strong, Master," said the stranger as he turned around to face a plain looking, bald man who was picking his nose. "The bird creature, however, is a different matter,"
"Who the hell are you and what the hell do you think you're doing?!" Shigaraki screamed, "Noumu's weak to fire so stop shooting flamethrowers at it!"
Then, the plain looking stranger, known as 'Master', spoke up.
"Well, that's a shame. It looked plenty strong, and I thought it would be fun to fight it. Guess my expectations were too high."
Everyone was shocked, but they could all feel an air of power emanating from this seemingly average-looking man.
"Noumu, change of plans. Kill the bald banana suit guy, will you?" Shigaraki ordered.
The creature charged towards Saitama and Genos, who had already activated one of his weapons, ready to dodge and shoot back but instead, Saitama leapt in front of him. The creature ran headfirst into him, creating a huge storm of dust, and Shigaraki thought that he'd been levelled but, after the smoke cleared, the Noumu was staggering back several steps. Shigaraki thought that the Noumu had ran into a wall, but then he remembered that his Master had built the Noumu to withstand All Might's punches, so a wall wouldn't stand a chance. Would it?
He then realised what was actually going on. When enough dust cleared away, he noticed that the Noumu had lost its head and he spotted it lying a few metres to its left. In a split second, the Noumu then exploded into pieces and went flying all over the USJ. Even as far as the front gate, which was on the complete other side of the building. Shigaraki froze in horror. How could a guy in a banana suit have power enough to annihilate their equivalent of All Might?
"Sorry, I may have misheard you, but what was that about my hero costume and my hair?" Saitama asked, trying to hold back his crankiness.
As the dust completely dissipated, he held up a smoking fist and said, "You sounded really tough a few seconds ago, unlike your little birdbrain pet thing over there,"
He jerked a thumb towards the head, which looked like it had seen a ghost. If the Noumu could talk, then it would be screaming it's lungs out and running away. The rest of the scene was even more unbelievable. There was a massive crater in the USJ's roof, far bigger than the one All Might had created, from the shockwave of Saitama's punch and a system of cracks all over the floor and in the rocks adjacent to them, which started collapsing in the next few minutes. The USJ looked like an actual disaster had struck it, and it all happened in a split second.
The man did it so effortlessly, it was almost funny. In fact, Midoriya started to chuckle a little bit but stopped when he realised All Might couldn't hold his muscle form anymore. He tried to stand up, forgetting that he had wasted his legs getting to All Might and felt an unbearable pain sear through the lower half of his body. It was so bad, that even someone like Izuku, who had surprisingly high pain tolerance, let out a cry. However, it couldn't be heard over Shigaraki's screaming.
"What the hell are you?" Shigaraki screamed, "You pop up out of nowhere and annihilate our finest creation. And you're not even in the top 50. You pile of trash, you damn a- "
"Calm yourself, Tomura Shigaraki," Kurogiri ordered.
"To hell with being calm…. DIE!" Shigaraki roared as he leapt towards Saitama with his hands outstretched, ready to turn him into dust.
He was barely ten feet away, but before he covered two, Genos appeared in front of him.
"Never disrespect Master," Genos threatened Shigaraki. His voice was so menacing, that even Shigaraki decided to back away. However, before he retreated, he ordered the third-rate crew that he had brought along with him to attack him.
If these two could take down Noumu without any effort, I doubt these thugs will be able to even touch them, but it'll buy us time nonetheless, Shigaraki strategized.
"Not so fast, scum," Genos said.
He held up his palm and a fiery bright light began to glow from it.
"Incinerate,"
A huge wave of fire spanning the half width of the USJ erupted from his hand and swept away the oncoming armada of thugs. All of them were burnt to nothing but a crisp with only a few bones remaining. (Monsters don't exist in My Hero Academia, so Genos basically committed genocide).
Shigaraki and Kurogiri were stunned at the sight. What hero could kill a bunch of people and feel no remorse? What was worse was that they didn't even buy them a second of time. In fact, Shigaraki would've been one of those thugs if Kurogiri didn't get in the way and protect him with the use of his Quirk.
"What the hell are we supposed to do now?" Shigaraki said.
"I can warp us out, but I need a little bit of time. A few seconds at most," Kurogiri suggested.
However, Shigaraki didn't believe for a second that these heroes would allow that at all. He needed to start talking as a distraction to let Kurogiri do his thing.
"Baldy, All Might. I'm gonna run this town's streets red with your blood." Shigaraki yelled. That forced a few heroes back. However, Genos wasn't one for intimidation. The same light started displaying itself from a small cannon on top of his forearm.
"Incinerate,"
A straight beam, resembling a shooting star, blazed towards the villains. Before it could deal the damage it was meant to, however, Kurogiri pulled up his Warp Gate and opened up a portal next to the students who were huddled up at the main gate. The beam shot right through the portal and rocketed towards the heroes-in-training. Genos managed to slightly dissolve his attack, using the upgrade that Dr. Kuseno gave him which allowed more freedom over his ranged attacks and control over whether or not to stop an attack mid-activation. It was nowhere near enough, unfortunately, to completely weaken the beam.
An immense explosion shook the earth a split second later. Genos feared that he'd been responsible for the deaths of eighteen kids and, even though he was ninety-five percent mechanized, the five percent of him that was human started to break down completely. He couldn't move his ironclad limbs and he fell to his knees fearing the worst. Until, of course, he heard his Master.
"Hey Genos. When we get back to City Z, you're gonna be the one to fix my costume back up. Laser beams are so fricking annoying." Saitama grumbled. "I even bought the premium polishing that the dry cleaner had to offer,"
Genos looked to the exit and saw his Master trying to put out a small fire on his cape. He looked behind him and saw an afterimage of his Master fading away. He then remembered his Master's immense power. He realised that his teacher had darted towards the children and deflected the beam with one simple flick of his fingers. The newly polished glove on his left hand, however, wasn't as lucky. It was completely vaporised by Genos' attack, but at least the kids were okay.
Unfortunately, this bought Kurogiri more than enough time to charge up his Quirk and open up another Warp Gate. Shigaraki didn't have his fill of revenge and death yet, however. He, once again, leapt at Genos, thinking the machine was distracted and his bloodlust didn't allow him to see the trap he was falling into. When he was inches away from Genos' torso, his hand started spouting blood, along with all of his other joints like his knees, thighs, elbows, etc.
Genos looked back to analyse the wounds and saw gunshot marks. He estimated the trajectory of the bullet and realised that it was nothing like a normal one. It had literally curved around the building in the squall zone, flew through the rocks they were next to and had hit several other thugs on the way before making it to Shigaraki. Many others like it were fired to different parts of the USJ, and, if one looked close enough, they could be seen whizzing around like out control balloons.
Genos and, to an extent, Saitama didn't have a clue as to what was going on, but Izuku recognised the signature bullets of the Gun Hero: Snipe with his Quirk, Homing. He was letting his twin pistols loose and emptying and reloading them faster than the eye could see. Not only that, but all of UA's teachers and staff were there as well. The official cavalry had arrived, but unofficially, the day had already been saved by the two strangers.
