Ryan blinked, trying to stop the stupid tears that threaten to form. He can't cry, he refused to cry. Stupid, idiot, screw-up, Ryan heard them all, he should be used to those comments by now but, for some reason they still hurt. Ryan always knew he was... different form everyone else. Maybe, it was because he'd tend to move around a lot when excited. Ryan knew everyone thought he was annoying and he is trying to calm himself down but, well it's really hard and he felt like he was never enough for anyone.

Ryan pulled his arms closer to his legs, trying to fight back the tears. He started whimpering feeling hopeless, until he heard a knock on the door

"Ryan?"

Ryan knew immediately that it was Min Gi but, he couldn't let him know he'd been crying but, the embarrassment of that made him cry harder. "Ryan? Is that you? Can I come in?" Min called out. Ryan didn't answer, instead he burying his head deeper into he's legs. Min quietly opened the door (it wasn't locked) to see what was going on. When Min walked in, he saw his friend sitting against the wall, legs on his chest and his head buried.

"Ryan, are you okay? What happened?" Min asked with concern in his voice. He'd never seen Ryan this upset before. Min placed his hand on the boy's shoulder which made Ryan look up, he didn't look good at all. His eyes were a little red and puffy and his face looked devastated, he looked so fragile. Ryan suddenly bursted out into tears as he grabbed on to Min.

"I'm sorry! I-I'm so sorry I'm nothing b-but a screw up, I'm sorry I'm just s-so stupid! I'm s-sorry I-I can't-" Ryan's whole body was trembling and then he felt Min's arms gently wrap around him, which made him cry even more. "Shhh, babe, there's nothing you need to apologize for" Min said softly. He rubbed Ryan's back and gently stroked his hair trying to calm his boyfriend down. Ryan just buried his head into Min's chest wishing he could believe him.

"B-but, I'm just stupid and I can't do anything right! You said so y-yourself... w-w-when we were on t-the train... a-and we w-were..."

Min felt his heart break hearing Ryan's words. The worst part is, he did say that. He did say Ryan was stupid. But, he did really mean it and he did know it would hurt Ryan's feelings so much. Min hold Ryan closer to him. "Shhh, no no no no babe, I-I didn't mean to say that, I'm so so sorry" Either Ryan wasn't listening to Min's words or didn't believe him as that didn't stop his crying. Min saw nothing he was doing was helping Ryan, first Ryan needed to calm down a little.

"Hey hey hey, there there, honey. Just breathe, it's gonna be okay" Ryan tried to breathe as tears ran down his face. "I-I can't!" He wheeze outed. "Shhh, it's okay, take deep breaths, in and out" Ryan took a shaky deep breath in. "There you go, now breathe out slowly" Ryan then took a deep breath out, this time less shaky.

"Good, now let's try that a few more times, try to match my pace, okay?" Ryan nodded. The two boys breathed deeply for a few more minutes. Ryan had finally stopped crying, he felt extremely tried but, calmer then before. Min continued to stroke Ryan's hair, then he finally spoke.

"Ryan, I'm about to tell you something and I want you to hear every single word of it, okay?" Ryan nodded. "You are not stupid, Ryan. Look, while we were on the train, I might've said things I don't really mean, I'm so sorry" Ryan sniffled. "You don't think I am?" "Of course not, babe, you're very smart just in different ways. Look, I know you're not exactly like everyone else, you do things differently that they might not understand, heck I don't understand it most of the time but, honey, you're so much more than what they say." Min gently put his hand on Ryan cheek, Ryan nuzzled further into Min's chest for comfort. Min hugged his boyfriend back letting Ryan lay there for a little while (mainly because his legs were asleep anyway). Ryan thought about it all, maybe he wasn't exactly the smartest, maybe he wasn't like everyone else but, maybe that was okay. Because he had a friend who cares about him and loves him for who he is. Yeah, he'd be okay
