"Wh-what? N-no!"

Toru's shriek echoed along the halls "Ojiro no!"

Blood splattered across the bedsheets as the blade plunged violently through the skin and fabric, a soft maniacal cackling sounding off in the room with every stab.

Denki gasped for breath as his eyes shot open and his eyes darted back and forth between the floor, the open door, and the darkened ceiling. He took sharp breaths as he slowly crawled forward off the bed and propped himself at the foot of the bed, he took a few deep breaths to try and calm himself down as he wiped the cold sweat off his forehead with his t-shirt sleeve. Denki looked around as he slowly came to his senses "Was that… a dream?" He groaned out while his eyes strained to see in the hazy purple that seemed to encapsulate everything he could see.

"What time is it? I can't see much of anything; everything's still… purple." Denki huffed as he grabbed onto his bed and used it to pull himself onto his feet "I think I'll go ask Iida about this, he probably knows what this is about." he mumbled to himself as he began dragging his feet out the door and into the hallway. Denki let out a groan of frustration as he slowly walked down the hallway, leaning his weight against the wall "I know it's late but why are all the lights off…" he sighed when he finally reached Tenya's door. Denki slowly raised his hand to the door to knock "Hey, Iid-" his eyes furrowed while his ears focused on the soft pitter-patter that came from his left.

The footsteps light and agile squelched and splat as they slowly neared Denki. Before he knew it a warm breath brushed against his nape causing him to squeeze his eyes shut. Whoever was behind him then suddenly ran their fingers through his hair before tightly gripping it and forcing him face-first into the door.

Denki's fear slowly tightened his throat, his limbs and chest began to feel an uneasy chill in them as the knife's edge slowly began to cut his skin. He took a sharp breath "This has got to be a dream." Denki thought as his head began to spin and his nose stung from the smell of copper, he let out a soft wince when the damp blade released a small but steady stream of blood from the back of his neck "Not today!" he grumbled and let out a small burst of electricity.

The lights around him flickered to life briefly from the surge of electricity as the clink of the metal blade hitting the floor sounded off along with a soft wince from whoever was behind him.

He quickly turned around "I got you no-mmm!" Denki let out a muffled scream as he was pushed against Tenya's door and a substance dark in color with the smell of rusted metal was smeared against his face. He grabbed the person's forearm but froze and quickly let go as it sunk in what was on his face and hands "N-No i-it can't be! Th-this isn't real!" Denki's chest tightened as fear and worry began setting in "It wasn't a dream! Hagakure and Ojiro are in trouble!". Denki clenched his hand tightly and began banging his fist against Tenya's door "Iida! Help!" he screamed with all of his power.

Just as quickly as it appeared the bloody hands pulled away from Denki's face and quickly took off to the left, he slowly slid down onto the floor watching the blood-stained feet and hands disappear into the purple haze that restricted his vision to a few meters.

Denki fell backward into Tenya's dorm when the door suddenly opened.

"Kaminari, do you know what happened? I was just standing in my room fixing my books when I suddenly passed out on… the… Kaminari what happened?" Tenya's eyes locked with Denki's wide and traumatized eyes "Kaminari, who's bloo-Hey wait!" He screamed at Denki as he ran off before he could even finish the question.

"No, no!" Denki muttered to himself as he sprinted towards Mashirao's room, he let out a gasp as slowly his footsteps began matching the squelching and splats from before. His shoulder slammed into the doorframe with a thud. Immediately the stinging sharp metallic smell overwhelmed his nose, Denki's head began to spin as he slowly stepped into the dark room, his bare feet squelching with each step "Ojiro, are you here? Are you hu-" Denki stopped dead in his track as he felt a cold object brush against his shin. Denki's skin began to crawl and his chest tightened while his dirtied hands began to quiver, with a gulp he slowly tilted his head downwards.

Mashirao laying on his back was bent over the edge of the bed, his eyes lifeless stared at the ceiling while the dark crimson bodily fluid slowly dribbled from his mouth. His neck on the other hand poured out a continuous stream of blood from a vertical slit on his neck, the cut continuing downwards to his exposed torso, the stomach splayed open and partially disemboweled. Mashirao's blood pool slowly grew in diameter as his corpse continued to leak blood.

Denki's eyes traced the lifeless, cold, yet outstretched arm of his classmate, his hand was open and reaching for the chair across the room, his knees shook and buckled sending him onto all fours. A mangled and bloodied pink shirt laid dangling off the armrest "N-no… no-not Hagakure too!" he mumbled as he slowly crawled away from Mashirao's body and towards the bloodied chair. His entire body began trembling once more while his stomach began to churn and bubble when his hand landed in her blood pool; with a broken smile, Denki slowly raised his hand and rubbed the blood from the other blood pool in between his fingers "I-it's sticky…" he mumbled to himself. Denki gagged when a surge of bile and stomach acid rose from his stomach, wincing when he clamped his blood-soaked hands over his mouth to hold the vomit back.

"Kaminari I said wait! What happ-Oh god…" Was all Tenya could say as he arrived behind Denki, his mouth trembled and his usually strong legs trembled at the sigh "No, no…"

Tears began pouring from eyes as vomit suddenly erupted from Denki's mouth covering his right hand in bile along with the pre-existing gooey blood on his fingers "I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm a hero but I couldn't save them!" He screamed at himself as his left hand repeatedly slammed into Hagakure's blood pool with a squish and a squelch "Ojiro… Hagakure… wh-why! Why would they go for them first! They were some of the nicest people here!" Denki screamed as he turned to face the horrified Tenya who was still reeling back from the horrific sight.

As Tenya was about to step toward Denki a high-pitched scream that was suddenly cut short came from down the hall. Tenya quickly ran out into the hallway "Koda!" He screamed before activating his quirk and dashing down the hallway at breakneck speed.

Denki pushed himself up from the ground and took chase after Tenya "They're going to pay! They're going to pay for Hagakure and Ojiro!" he screamed as he passed by Tenya's room, looking for the twinkle of a metal blade but the floor remained clear. His eyes widened "Iida, be careful they have a knife!" His run slowed to a jog when he saw a large silhouette slumped over the doorway with a distinct rock-shaped head. Denki's mouth trembled as he slowly approached the growing metallic smell so thick that he swore he could taste it, and it wasn't from the blood coating his face, he looked and quickly stepped away from the dark puddle slowly reaching away from Koda's body. Denki clamped his puke and blood-stained hand over his nose and mouth as the putrid smell of blood stung his nose once more, his eyes seeming trembled as everything began sinking in "I thought we… we were safe. Th-they're really going to kill us!" his head snapped out of it when a bright flash of blue burst through the open door and stopped after slamming straight into the wall across it.

A pained groan came from a familiar voice from the banged up and bloodied body hunched over on the wall "Ka-Kaminari, help!" Tenya was able to weakly grumble as he struggled to even get on his knees.

Denki quickly pulled Tenya onto his feet and slung his arm over his shoulder "What do we do?" he quickly asked him but once more his head zoned out while his mouth hung open when laying eyes on what had happened to Tenya. His glasses' lenses were shattered with pieces lodged into his right eye, his left eye on the other hand had a small bloodied wooden handle protruding from it; a handle that you would find on a small knife… much like the knife from before.

Denki was quickly pulled out of his mind when the injured Tenya yanked on his soiled shirt "I said we need to warn the others!"

Denki nodded and frantically began running down the hallway trying his best to keep him on his shoulders "I-I'll get my phone! We can call everyone!". He groaned in a strained effort as he pulled the larger Tenya into the room and slammed the door behind him and locked it, Denki stumbled onto the floor and leaned against the bed "We should be safe here. Was Koda…"

"…yes, and whoever killed him and our friends was waiting for me there. I ran straight into the knife, it was like it came out of nowhere." Tenya with a shaky hand gently gripped onto the wooden handle of the knife embedded into his eye "Kaminari, I need you to help me pull the knife out of my eye."

"Wh-what? I thought we're not supposed to do that! Shouldn't wait until we get you to a doctor to remove it?" Denki replied as he gently took Tenya's hand and pulled it away from the knife handle.

"But when will that be," Tenya said before taking out a small handkerchief from his pocket "I think this murderer will want to keep us here as long as possible so they can finish the job before leaving." He gripped Denki's hand and pulled him closer "Please… just do it, I don't want a knife sticking out of my eye."

Denki nodded and gave Tenya a few pats on the hand "Okay… I'll do it slowly."

Tenya took several deep breaths "On the count of three. One-AAAHHH!" He screamed out in pain as Denki pulled the knife out not on three or slowly. The remnants of his left eye sticking to the bloodied blade as it was swiftly pulled out with a schlick. With gritted teeth he gently pressed his handkerchief against his eye while he tightly gripped at Denki's bedsheets "You need to get Kirishima, as far as we know the intruder uses knives… he's the only one here who can be impervious to knives. He's probably asleep, did you notice how everyone decided to sleep at the same time? I think it has something to do with the purple haze."

"Which would explain why I started getting sleepy when my vision started going purple." Denki remarked as he slowly took his shirt off while holding his breath, his stomach churning as the acrid smell of vomit and blood assaulted his nose. Denki then balled up the soiled shirt and with quivering lips and shaky hands began wiping the thick and sticky residue that was Toru's blood "For the record… I don't think it was an intruder. I think it was the traitor." He softly mumbled to Tenya as he reached for a relatively clean shirt from his clothes pile and began wiping away Tenya's dried blood from his cheeks and chin "But it can't be any of us, we've all been pretty much cleared already." He said as he put on a not-so-fresh shirt but it would have to do since it wasn't soiled.

"Maybe… we can figure it out later, getting help is priority." Tenya replied as he winced away from Denki wiping away the blood close to his wounded eyes.

Denki eyed the now well coated bloody knife and hesitantly tightened his fingers around the worn-out wooden handle "This knife is from our pantry… one of us is a traitor." he walked towards the ear and gently pressed his ear against it. "I'll bring the knife with me just in case," On the other side was nothing but silence, not even a hint of the pitter-patter of blood-soaked footsteps, Denki slowly pried the door open "I'll lock the door, do not open it for anyone else Iida. I'll be back as soon as I can." he sighed and closed the door behind him. Denki couldn't help but stare at the bloody mess in front of his doorway, the darker spots on the floorboards glistening with its slickness and crimson hue, his eyes snapped upwards when he heard it once more.

Pitter-patter. The sound of footsteps running through the bloody puddles that were scattered along their hallway. Pitter-patter.

Denki took a big gulp as in the quiet, barren, and messy hallway he could hear the soft but unsteady breathing just a few meters to his right.

"Kaminari… wh-what happened?"

He quickly turned to face the source of the voice "Jiro?" His mouth dropped open as he quickly lunged at her and pulled her close for a hug as tears slowly began streaming from his face "So-someone killed Hagakure, Ojiro, and Koda… Iida's in my room and badly injured," Denki pulled himself away from the hug and looked at Kyoka with a concerned look "We need to get out of the hallway, the murderer could be around here…" he noticed Kyoka eyeing the bloody knife clutched in his hand "Do you think… I'm the one that killed them?" He asked with a slightly raised voice "Because if you do I will tell you right now I did not! They were my friends and I would've never hurt any of them!" he shouted as he slowly became more agitated.

Kyoka quickly backed up and shook her head "N-no! O-of course not! I said I trust you di-didn't I? Ca-can you just put the knife down? Please?" she asked as her eyes kept darting between the knife and Denki's unstable seeming eyes.

"No!" He shouted as he suddenly raised the knife to head level "The murderer could come up any moment and I need to protect you! I-I don't know where they could be!" Denki said through gritted teeth while his pupils trembled from the immense stress.

Kyoka slowly walked toward Denki and gently wrapped her hands around his and pulled the knife down with little resistance "Just trust me too!" She said with a small smile and while raising one of her jacks. With a small nod and a deep breath from Denki, she plugged the jack into the wall "You said Iida's the only one in your room?"

"Yeah… he was the only I could get to safety."

"Well there are only three heartbeats on this floor, there are also three heartbeats on the floor below us, and… five heartbeats on the floor above us…" Kyoka looked at Denki with shock and worry "Oh no."

"Why? What's wrong with that? There are five people on the 4th floor, Shoji, Kirishima, Bakugo, Ashido, and Uraraka."

"Kaminari… Bakugo's at the hospital." Kyoka basically shouted as she grabbed him by the collar "The murderer went upstairs to kill one of our classmates!" With panic in their eyes, they both quickly ran down the hall and towards the stairs until Kyoka was stopped suddenly by Denki grabbing the back of her shirt. Denki had his finger pressed up to his lips before pointing downwards, drawing her attention to the steps. A set of footprints set in the wooden steps in a dark crimson red, one foot on each step and each foot seemingly stepped twice "They… they were skipping up the steps."

Denki looked to Kyoka and nodded as he then continued to walk up their wooden stairs "They're enjoying this… toying with us. We can barely see because of the haze and the lights are out."

As they were halfway up the steps and landed on the small little platform between flights a thump that seemed like roaring thunder compared to the chilling silence that came from above them. They both looked up the steps as a figure shrouded by the dark purple haze appeared, just as they were about to reach out to it the sounds repeated.

Thump! Thump! Thump! Thump! Were the sounds made by an object slowly rolling down the steps towards them.

Both the yellow and purple haired students held their breaths as the object slowly rolled to them, but it was pointless, once they saw it they would not be able to keep anything inside.

Her pink hair and yellow horns stained red, her yellow irises forever trapped behind closed eyelids as they will never see anything again. Her spinal column left mostly intact with just one section being completely sawn in half. Her mouth was left open slightly ajar as if she was mid-snore before her neck became nothing but a pink fleshy stump with jagged edges and bloody smears.

"M-Mina." Denki murmured in disbelief as he dropped the knife onto the ground with a clink, seemingly having lost control of his body his left eye began twitching uncontrollably while he slowly kneeled down and gently cupped his friend's severed head and in a moment of broken emotions and humanity hugged it "I-I'm sorry." he whispered to no one but the dead ears before dropping her head onto the floor.

Kyoka quickly turned around and emptied her stomach's entire contents behind her "Wh-what the fuck?!" in anger she turned to the figure and thrust her middle finger up into the air "I don't care if it's unhero like, we will kill you! We will make you suffer for this!" She screamed and jabbed out one of her jacks at the figure.

The murderer dodged it by simply stepping backward, taking advantage of the purple haze lingering in the dorms that hampered their vision. Once again they could hear the soft pitter-patter of wet footsteps which slowly got more and more distant

Denki's body trembled with anger as he picked up the knife again, his knuckles turning white while his grip around the handle tightened, and slowly began walking up the rest of the stairs with an unnaturally calm demeanor "Let's-Let's go."

Kyoka with her hand still over her mouth averted her eyes from Mina's severed head as they both stepped over it and headed up to the 4th floor.

Their feet splashed in a puddle of blood waiting for them at the top of the staircase, the dark red color staining their skin and fabric.

Denki aimlessly stared at it before calmly asking Kyoka "How many people are still on this floor?" his eyes followed a set of bloody footprints that led to the right, heading straight toward Mina's and Ochako's dorm

Kyoka, still shaken, quickly stepped out of the blood puddle and plugged her jack into the wall "Six, including us there's six people on this floor…" When she removed her jack she fell onto her knees and gripped onto her now blood-soaked pajamas "They waited for us to get to the stairs, they're toying with us. They're psychotic."

Denki couldn't help but nod in agreement "They know their way around our dorms. They've been living here." he took a few steps forward to the girls' area of the dorm before turning around to look at Kyoka with a face filled with seriousness, an emotion not commonly shown by Denki "I think… one of our classmates was replaced by Toga."
