I don't own Harry Potter. All the character are creation of J.K. Rowling.

Harry woke up next morning and yawned loudly in his chair in which he had drifted in sleep. He rose, put his glasses back and stretched, popping his stiff back and neck. He moved sleepily toward the window and watched the road with his same expressionless eyes. He stood across the window for about some time watching Hedwig flying in the lawn. After few minutes he went to bathroom for his daily routine and started the shower. He stood there for some time leaning on the wall feeing cool water against his skin. Sometimes later the water ran out. He dried his hair, clothed himself and went downstairs to prepare breakfast for his 'loving' family.

"Good morning, Uncle Vernon, Aunt Petunia."

Like any morning could be good here.

"Make yourself useful, boy. Go make breakfast and don't think for a single moment that I will care about what those freaks said about you. Understood."

You are more of a freak with your whale of a son.

Harry didn't reply and just ignored him expertly while cooking eggs like practiced chef.

"Don't ignore me boy. Don't think that I am scared of your freakiness. I know that your kind are not allowed to use your mimbo-zimbo outside your freak school."

"Yes, Uncle Vernon." Harry replied while grinding his teeth.

"Don't talk to me in this tone."

"Or else what?"

"What do you say?"

"I said what will you do." Harry yelled suddenly while hitting the counter with his hand.

"Do you really think that I want any where near here. I am forced to come here against my wishes. If I had any option of being somewhere else, I'll be there in a heartbeat." He ran his finger through his hair and sighed. "Look I don't care about your attempts to be top-dog here, just stay out of my way and I'll stay out of your way or else you will have a problem with my mass-murdering godfather, Sirius Black. You remember him, don't you?"

Vernon look like he swallowed sour lemon. Face turning in red in anger he looked like he was about to reply but one look from Petunia and he huffed and opened his newspaper.

Harry served the eggs in the plates at the table, quickly ate his breakfast and stood up. "I'll be above in my room for some time and don't think for a second that I'll make you lunch too."

He climbed the stairs and shut the door close as soon as he entered the room. He picked the Hedwig's dirty cage and started cleaning it with a piece of cloth. He rearranged the books on his table and wiped the dirt from the table. A tap on the window screen diverted his attention from the table. A brown barn owl was perched on the edge clutching a paper rolled in one. Harry through a bronze knut which was picked by the owl. Harry picked the newspaper and absently shooed the owl. It hooted to the only other companion in the room and flew away. Harry also checked the newspaper he picked downstairs while no one was watching. For 3 days now he was regularly reading both the muggle as well as Daily Prophet eagerly waiting for any signs of unsuspected accidents or deaths. He guessed that when Voldemort had returned, he surely will return to his previous activity of murdering anyone opposing him. But no news of such activity can be found in these papers beside his daily slanders he was reading. He was also straining himself listening to the news from the television downstairs in the evening.

What the hell is he does when he is not murdering people for fun.

Gringotts was bursting with the noises of wizards and witches from all over the Britain. Goblin tellers were sneering and snarling at any human they can see. Same can be seen by human populace too. Some were fearful while others were mocking. But nothing could be seen out of place as this was normal relationship between Goblins and humans.

Through the main chamber, a man in his 40s with brown hair and black eyes could be seen moving toward the only free teller it could find. Some goblins were giving curious eyes at the man while working at their accounts. Soon the man reached the counter and cleared his throat. The goblin's head whipped up quickly.

"What do you want wizard?" openly snarling at the poor attempt at disguise.

"I wish a meeting with my account manager."

"And what, pray tell, stop me from informing your ministry about you?" goblin sneered.

"One-you lot don't mind in wizard business other than gold and your honor. Two- it will rub in many people in many wrong ways." The man whispered while leaning toward the counter all the while keeping a grin on his face which seem very out of place.

"Go to long corridor and turn right. Ministry had frozen the Black account after your apprehension. Grimzaw will have at last some work to do now. He was waiting for you to meet for about two years now." Goblin spoke in throaty voice while gesturing another goblin with his right hand toward empty hall.

"Follow him, he will show you to your account manager."

The now identified Sirius Black moved with grace none retain after this long exposure to dementors. The purpose of the meeting was clear in his mind, he only hoped that he would be able to do what he wanted to do after so long. He found himself led toward a long marble corridor to a meeting room. The goblin with him knocked sharply on the ornate door having a golden plaque with 'BLACK' written quiet richly. A gruff voice responded, allowing him to push the door open and enter. He transformed back to his own form as soon as he entered the room.

"Yes?" The goblin inside was clearly in the middle of writing something.

"Greetings Grimzaw, I was hoping to have my inheritance test here and wish to take my mantle as Lord Black if possible" Sirius said solemnly with a bow which was reciprocated. Grimzaw nodded him toward the empty chair opposite to him.

"Greetings, Sirius Black, its been 15 years since I last saw you. As for your request, its not required Lord Black. You were ascended as the head of the house as soon as your grandfather Lord Arcturus Black died. He had made you his heir in his will and since you were never convicted magic has accepted you as Lord Black."

"So, I can take the ring any time but I was convinced that my mother had publicly disowned me from the family." Sirius asked carefully not believing that he was not disowned but made heir in a will.

"Yes, lord Black, your mother disowned you from your family verbally but it was never formalized. Also, previous lord Black was your grandfather not your father and he had never filed any papers regarding your disownment."

"Oh, okay then. What do I have to do?" Sirius asked.

Grimzaw reached down and pulled a ceramic ritual bowl and dagger from the drawer. He pushed the bowl on the table toward him and handed him the dagger.

"Prick your finger a little and drop few drops of blood in the bowl, say the oath and accept your family magic." Sirius nodded.

Sirius cut open his palm allowing his blood to drop in the bowl while the goblin chanted harshly in gobbledook.

"I, Sirius Orion Black, do hereby claim headship of House Black as is my right by birth and magic as a Black. I vow to uphold the traditions and honour of the family as required. This I vow on my magic and life. Tojours Pur" Sirius said gravely while raising his hand over the bowl.

The blood in the bowl glowed and whirled inside and soon an obsidian ring appeared on his fingers complete with platinum band. Grimzaw nodded and took back the bowl and the dagger. He reached and pulled some files from a different drawer.

"Lord Black, let me be the first to congratulate on your ascension. Here, have a look at your estate and business growth during last decade. You also have to decide your heir of the house. Papers will be filed and sent to ministry regarding new lord Black." Sirius cut him off at this.

"Can you keep my name in private as you know I am not really a public figure presently. And for heir, my godson Harry James Potter will become next lord Black in case anything happens to me. I also want to change my will and visit to family vault will be appreciated."

"Also, I want to inform Gringotts that our residential dark lord has returned from his apparent death. So, an emissary will be sent by him to your kind. Rest depends on what you all will decide."

Grimzaw face hardened. "This will have to be informed to our king. Only he can decide our stance in your war."

Sirius nodded at this and motioned for his departure.

Grimzaw ringed a bell on his table. A goblin came inside and bowed low.

"Show Lord Black down to the Black Vault."

"Follow me Lord Black."

Sirius stood up and thanked Grimzaw for his time. He followed the teller to the trolley in the cave and soon the cart moved swiftly on the rails bringing him before a large vault with Black written on it. He pressed his ring on the designated spot and the stone door moved upward grinding against each other. He went inside and filled some galleons in his enchanted bag. He looked around and soon saw the thing he was looking for. A brown leather-bound book was placed on the pedestal. He picked up the Black family grimoire tuned some pages and put the book in his mokeskin pouch he found in the same vault. He also searched for the ancestral wands and started picking them one by one. After some time, he found a wand which was responding more satisfactorily than his current possession. He turned and nodded toward the goblin he found waiting at the door. The goblin motioned him to the cart and the cart started ascending. He thanked the teller when they reached the atrium and asked whether he could get a two-way portkey for someone for a fixed day. He was pointed toward another counter where he got an untimed portkey for hundred galleons. He exited the bank with flourish.

Satisfied with his work he quickly apparated at door of his house, Grimmauld Place and entered on his tip-toes. He quickly snuck to his room and sighed happily laying on his bed. Now, he had a letter to send to his godson and explain the machination of Albus Dumbledore.

At least he will have his mind on things other than Voldemort now.

Harry lifted his head from his book to the noise. He saw a barn owl with a letter in his talons sitting on the ledger. He quickly made his way towards the owl and snatched the letter. He sat on the chair and soon a smile filled his face as he read that the letter was from Sirius. At least Sirius haven't forgotten his only godson.

Dear Prongslet,

How are you doing, Harry. (Sorry wrong question, I know.) As someone who know you, I know that you will be blaming yourself for the graveyard and beating yourself. But let me clear myself you don't have a fucking clue that Snake-face had something planned like this. You are not responsible for anything that happened to Cedric. So, please get your ass up and do something productive. (Like thinking about hot birds.)

Lord thingy is keeping quiet for the time and preparing his forces like time. So, you wouldn't have heard about his adventure and since ministry doesn't believe your claim, they are actively slandering you and Dumbledore. Don't let this get to you and keep your head down.

So, this is why nothing is reported in the papers because nothing is actually happening. Wizarding world is full of sheeps.

You would not have got any letter from your friends because esteemed headmaster believe that no one should send any letter and information as it can be intercepted. (But I don't think so because you have more right to know about snake-face than people who are currently residing at my place. Also, he has people watching over you in case of emergency.

Harry was fuming at this.

So, his apparent friends value orders from an old man than their friend. Fuck them, I don't need them.

With this letter is enclosed a portkey for Gringotts which will activate on 23rd July at 10:00 clock. Don't forgot to bring your cloak with you. Also, I have sent Black family grimoire to you. Think of this a single book in which name of all the books in Black library is listed. If you tap the name of book you want to read, book will change to show that book. I will recommend you to read Mind magics preferably Occlumency and also Wandless Magic.

See you on 23rd.

Love,

Snuffles

Harry was overjoyed that he has something to keep him occupied this summer. He promised himself to do his best to make Sirius proud. H had taken so much risk to get him the book. He will read any book on the given topic.

So, this is it. I have hope that the story will reach 200k words by the end. If any of you want to adopt, send a message.
