Nina yawned as she woke up in her soft shack bed. Though it was morning, the moon shone through the window on her little vanilla face. As warm and snug as her bed was, she just had to see what wonders awaited her today. Excitingly imagining what could happen, Nina smiled and threw off her blanket, knocking something over on the nearby kitchen counter. A pan fell with a muffled crash on her rug.
Her naked body stumbled out of bed and toward the pan. Tail up and bending over to pick up the pan, Nina felt a faint, lukewarm breeze tickle her legs. Suddenly, she spotted something underneath her bed. Some things. An enemy she knew all too well: the Fluffsies, what Nina would call dust bunnies if she could speak. A sense of fear shook Nina like ever before. If she didn't escape them, she'd let out a sneeze, which is something she isn't fond of doing. In a hurry, she scurried and scrambled to grab her pan and stood up straight, successfully adverting any sneezes. With her small victory, she placed her pan back on the kitchen counter for later use.
Remembering of the wonderous things that could happen today, Nina turned and walked towards her door. Lying beside it were her blue striped sweater and a pair of khaki cargo shorts, neither of which were folded (because she didn't know how to do that). Next to her clothes stood — well, one of them anyway — her favorite pair of azure boots, something she didn't want to be without. Plus, it's her only footwear.
Now squatting down, Nina first picked up and unballed her sweater and shorts, both easily fitting her like always. Next, she sat down on her dirty wood floor with her legs extended and stretched out and slipped on her boots. With that, Nina leapt up and finally kicked down her door with a swift jump kick from a running start. Starting from her bed.
Overshooting the kick with great force, she fell and tumbled down the hill her shack was on and ended up rolling into the small and shallow koi pond situated nearby. Nina became soaked with water and her boots turned into a swimming pool for her feet, which she hated for how uncomfortable it felt. However, she's rather indifferent to being wet. Nina hung her head and began to pout. Looking downwards, she'd just barely noticed how scared the koi were as they shuffled about the water.
The sad truth is she didn't have much concern for them, as she planned to eat one of them for breakfast. Hopeful and donned with a hungry look on her face, she hunched over and snatched a small one and scuttled back up the hill and into the shack with the door still ajar. Nina targeted her pan across the room. Stomping over to it, drips of water would splatter her floor with every step. With the mighty clench of Nina's right claw and koi in the left, she knew what she had to do: smash that fish.
For Nina, just setting up was enough to make her more hungry as she'd always see the result beforehand.
Since she doesn't know how to properly cook anything, she prepares her food in two easy steps you shouldn't do at home: place and smash. This not only would outright kill the fish, but tenderize it so good that it would become a paste of gross fish guts exploding all over Nina's counter. From there, she'd dig in to the fish, eating the squishy, juicy bits and picking out bones and other sharp parts. As for the eyes (if they were still in tact), Nina would smash them with her hands simply because she finds it fun. Luckily, they were and she did, letting out a small giggle.
Additionally, she'd spit out anything she found yucky and use her tongue to pick her teeth out.
After breakfast, Nina was content and ready to enjoy her day out.
