That night, after a long and uneventful dinner, I went up to see what was asissina's plans for the next couple of days. I hunted for least an hour or two to find her. I had Conrad with me as I searched in the castle. Wolfram was still under a nurse's care as he recovered in his room. I had to make sure that he was going to stay put. So, I got out his paints and ordered him to paint me a cat. Wolfram was confused at first, but with some help from me and Conrad, wolfram began to work on picking out the right colours for his cat masterpiece.

In Assiasina's lab, the world was going to be shocked as Assiasina was going about in her expiration. She had been working on some new device that looked like an old recorder player. There was a fish bowl on the turntable while the speakers were in a state of disarray. I though, "What is she thinking!"

Assiasina had her back facing the door as I entered. She heard the door and said, "Come back some other time!"

"I wanted to do that…" I started to say as I turned to leave. Then, I felt a hand touching my shoulder. I turned back to see Assiasina standing behind me. "…but I hoped to see you today!"

"Oh?" she asked in her own curious way. In Her eyes there was hope I could stay for a little while. "What's it about?"

"I…" I began to say. As I began to enter the room, I noticed something sitting on a shelf. I had to ask, "What's that?"

"Oh?" Assiasina said when she turned to look at the same shelf. She stared at the thing for a minute before saying, "It was Wolfram's."

"Well?" I asked again. I had a feeling it was going to be a game of ping-pong between me and Assiasina.

"Was there something on your mind?" she asked as she walked over to see me.

"Yes. I was wondering about Wolfram."

"I heard…is he O.K." she shook her head. "Was he really riding a horse?"

"Yea…" I winced as I recalled the story. "He is very stubborn!"

"And risky!" she added. Then, she looked up at a clock on a wall. She knew something was going to be late if she was deleting.

"What's wrong?" I asked when I noticed the look on her face

"Nothing. I was doing some notes for a research project!" she smiled.

"Research," I thought. Assiasina has a few projects that were hum diners.

"What else is your mind, your highness?" Assiasina asked she could see my growing frustration at everything was in my eyes.

"I wish there was something I could do…" I sighed. I knew there a hint or two of Wolfram coming back. Yet, a real test came after the horse was stopped. The horse was calm and very much happy to have a good run. Yet, when Wolfram was trying to get off, he had forgotten how to dismount. In fact, he was totally frightened of falling off. He started to panicking and throwing punches about at the attentions who were just trying to help. I watched as he was nearly tied up with a blanket as two attentions gently lowered him off the horse. "By the time I got there…he was crying!" I shook my head. I swallowed my anger back. "It was like he was a baby, trying to grow up fast again!"

She smiled a little when she glanced at me. Then, she went back to her work. She said, "He's just trying to get a grip on what has happen. Yet, he still lost."

"Yea… he was a little…" I wondered out loud. Then, I wanted to know on how to bring Wolfram back to his old self. He was still a crown prince.

"Give it some time…" she nodded as she gave me a second look. "He needs to heal from the inside out. People are always in such a hurry!" then, she told me to go back to the throne room.

I did what was told. I hoped that I could help Wolfram get his memories back and soon!

I went back to the courtyard. I have been busy with trying to solve this case of the people behind the nearly hurting Wolfram. I very much wanted to see what was going on. I knew I couldn't go back until we got Wolfram back to normal. Yet, what was normal for one person was not for the next. I think my mom told me that when I was back on Earth.

I crossed the path leading up to the throne room. I heard Gunner asking for me. I said as my aide asked me, "What's up?"

"Your highness…I have consulted with the royal doctor and he instructed me not to let Wolfram get overly excited. It may cause a relapsed!"

I felt like I was at my wits end. What was not overly excited about wolfram's short temper and explosive outbursts? I had to keep everything going as best as I knew how. Yet, Wolfram had to get better slowly or he wouldn't be able to even take over if I got ill or even die!

My mind snapped opened as I said, "I have to take wolfram to the sea!"

"What?!" Gunner questioned me with a wild eyed glare.

"I knew you were going to say that!" I snapped coldly with a large fish-eyed stare. I knew he didn't want to me out on some wild goose chase. Yet, I remembered the trips to the sea when my mom got over a bad bout with the flu or a bug. She felt better after her trips. She told me that the sea was good for the healing soul.

"But, your highness!" Gunner squawked. Then, he realized for a minute of his fussing that I was making sense to him.

"He needs to heal…the sea air might do him so good!" I said when I stared into gunner's eyes.

"And what else?"

"He needs to heal…I hope to have some time wuith Conrad as well!" I sighed. There was soe, thjing bugging me since Conrad and myself found that folder. I tried to explain as best as I could to Gunner at the time. Yet, in fact I was still in the dark about the idea meslf.

Gunner told me that he was O.K. with the idea. He knew that I was goriwning into my role as kiong. I needed to branch out for a little whoikle to see what I can do on myh own.

"Does his highness need a doctor to be there if something should happen?" he asked, his answer sounded like a great deal of protect from a possible relasp on Woflram.

"that's a good idea," I agreed with him. There was just too much at stake here. I knew Gunner was roight about Wolfram's health.

"Then, the day after tomorrow you and Wolfram will go to the sea. You be needing some rest yourself!" he said with a concern look in his eyes. There was something that he knew tht I didn't! the worry from caring about Woflram was taking a toll on me.

"You are going to the sea?" I thought as I lay in bed with the curtains drapping over the frame. It was dark and scarery in a way. I wondered how this tripo was going to effect Worlfram.

The widn in the trees blew hard as thorough the sky was getting ready to rain. The moon was large and bright. The ngith was going to be long. I wanted to be with Wolfram. He was not lodu to be alone. Yet, he ahd a nruse who looked after him as he slept.

I turned onto my right side. I truied to close my eyes. I had to get some sleep, some how. I whispered to the dark, "Plesas give me back wolfram."

The darkness did not speak back. I knew there was no sense of light just yet.

The nerxt morning I was so blerely eyed that I surpsed even Gunter was his usually mother hen slef. I bleeive tjhis day that side of him was more so than ever. I kept omn nodding and smiling like the fool that Wolfram bleived I was.

I went down to the learge dinning hall for breakfast. I skipped excerise. I did not need it. My head to be cleared asd I ate. There was a few maids who were setting up for the fianal preparations for my departure.

I was in the torhone room with Gunter and a few of the court tpo be. I was just just checking over the list of things for rolyal court tpo do. I did not want to leave them hanging in a lurch. Wolfram was helping with the packing. I had no idea what gotten itjno him. He seemed to be happy with the tyrip. Normalluy he was yeowling aobut everyitng. For once I happened to luick oyt.

I talked to Gunter for any possible kidbnapping attacks from the human tribes. There was some talk about some of the neighboring villages were now sorry to hear aoubt Wolfram and hiusi attack. They had to keep things clear for us. There was too mych fighting from both sides. I was glad of that.

"Wolfram should see a doctor when we get there!" I said to Gunter.

"To see if he could travel or not?" he aksed. He wbnated to be sure that Worlfram was able to even trabvel.

"Yea…something loiek that…I was thinking after our trip!" I wondered outlpoud.

There was no response from him. Hre was just as concerned for Wolfram. There was still a bitter sting of Wolfram trying to pull some minor situations. Was the blow to his head bring back a few choice mememores for Wolfram.

"and what do you need on the trip?" he asked.

"Time…" I saiod. I kenw myt answer for a long while. Wolfram need time so badly it was painful. He was not goinmg to get better over night. I was willoing to giove all the time that I was granted over here to do it in.

"Yes…your highness," he nodded slgiuthy before leavign the room.

After the long hours of being a kinmg, I had wnet down to check the basement again. It was strange looking for a possible clue to Wolfram's past. He was with his mother, looking at the rose garden. I had to ask Conrrad to help me with the search. We did fine the brown book thingie htat we found ealrier. I was going to open it uip and start reading it. I wondered if someone had been lookomng fpor it.

Conrrad was going through a large box of old stuff. There was a pieces of jewlwed gold in the box. Then, there was a small box made out of dark wood. He held oit uip and said, "I can't believe that it's still here!"

"What is it?" I aksed, glancing at his dicreation.

"It my mother's wedding gift. This was from Wolfram's father. This was her first really good Jewlwery box," Conrad smiled. He carefully place it on his lap. On opejomng it, he noticed a few tiny rings and earnings still restging on a wore squartre odf velcet.

i hoped there was something in that box whihc could help me. he pulled out a small tear drop jewel dangling from a long golden thin string. he told me tjhat his mother had revieced it as a birthday gift.

"What is it called?" i asked, wathicng as it was held up to a stray beam of light.

"There is no name...it was a humble gift from someone who i wodnered gave iut to her..." he smiled.

"I…" I began ot say.

There was a small spark of colour that shot out of tge jewel. It seemed like glow for a cpouple pof minutes. It was the most surprisingly beuatful thing I have seen in a long time. Putting a name for the brilliant glwoung jewel would be a sort of shameful idea.

"My mother's love wase like that at oen time!" he sighed.

"and…" I wanted to get to know Wolfram a little better.

"She was in her tneryies. She was kjust starting off with bioeng a princess. There were mnay suitors whi cpouted herfor months at a time!"

"Typsicall!" I smiled. I knew that the former queen was just a simple filirt at first. She had a lot of growing up when she had to be married.

"She received a vast amount of gifts. So, were worth a small kingdom," Conrad joked. His smile was his way of trujing back all the pain he had flet as he tried to ease the hurt he and his brother Gwendal ahd been exprewsincign for the last few days.

"A msile look so good on you," I sighed. There was a break in painful feelings of near loss of Wolfram. I hoped with all of my being as demon king, I would bring back Wolfram's memroipoes back.

"it seemed liekt he past day or two… I thought I have lost it soemwehre!" he nodded.

"I can find it!" I sighed. I was looking for evyerthing at a snail's pace. There were so many quietesntopn that were leading nowhere. Yet, fidning oen mslal piece of the puzzle was fanstic.

"You and Wolfram need to smile too," jhe said as a hopeful jab. He knew I was helping Wolfra,m with his memoies of the castle.

"I hope I don't lose abitly to know how," I sighed. He reached out to place a hand up tpo my shoulder. I felt a squeeze with a gentel hand. I knew he was goigmn tpo help.

"You wouldn't…I know yuou too well. I have comeptlet faithin you!" he said. Then, he took the small jewel itno hjis jeacket pocket. He told me me aobut the paper in which he had found with him the first time we were in the basement after Wolfram's attack. It was birthing papers. There was a msall book of stetcheds of people who were there at Woldream's first pulbic vewing. It was three weeks after he was born.

"Compelkte faith…I wondered aobut it…aobut myself!" I sighed. I took the diea of taking those papers with us.

Conrad believed it was a good idea to take the papers if he could carry them. He did not want tpo lose them. He had small box that he had strapped to his sadle. He was going to leave early in order to get things ready for me and Wolfram.

Then, Gunther entered the room, carryuhng what looked lioke a small leather pounch. He told me that these were papaers that gave local folklore.

"I hope this puoch helps you out whith what the comnon people do!" he said iwht a slgith nod.

"Yea…I know thius…Wolfram is really hard headed when it comes to do anything with me!" I sighed as he took the pouch.

We were off and runing. It was more like off and wlaking. I hoped to get wolfram to aggreee with me as we roide horses to the gates of the palace. He knew myself and Conrad were up to soemthjing.

"Where are you taking me?" he asked with a slightly curious galcne.

"We are…" I blsuehd. Why was I blsyhing? I was truing to ohelp him with is memeoy problems. "…are going to some where nice!"

"Ahhh!" was heard friom tegh peanut garley.

I turend to look over my shoudler. It was Gunnter trying to cathc up. He was toitatnly obesies with me for some strarnrtge reason. He could jsyut stay with the rest of the people back at the caslte.

"What was that?" Wolfram asjed as he heard the nouise as well. He wodnered who was this peersopn comig up to him.

He looked at me like i was trying to cover up the fact of his illness. he hated me for telling him a so called lie. yet, he had no idea what was in store. i had reaseached in the stuff that Conrad had given me. there was a large ammouint of facts that i had sort through. there was still the feelings of mistrust between some humans and some demons. it felt more like a news letter than just a reflection of a person's past.

Wolfram looked at the view. he heard a few people wishing our group well. he did try to force a smile on hsi lips. his idea of havingany fun on this trip was going to be ahrd.

i had to lie and get out oif withj a smile on my face. "Well…" I rolled my eyes at him. "I would like to see you take a trip to the sea."

"uh?" there was a look on hjis face that was compl, etely inooceent. He looked lioke a child who was given a great gift.

I had to think fast again. "You are going to the sea with me!" I said gfnetly.

The two of us walked over to the gangplank. Wolfram heard a couple of horses near a dock. There was a few stalls neawr the dock. He did a quick duck and cover to avoid me. Then, took off in a huff towards the stables.

I wondered who or wath will happen to us! I had a feeling were going to be in for trouble, if Wolfram was goiung to a brat enyways.

it looked like rain as I started on my long trek to the neighberingh village. I asked a soldier as I passed the horse stables, "I hope it don't rain...iof it does what are we going to start."

"I'm not sure...i'm use ot having to take orders about any sort of weather," he said. Then, he asked as he noticed Wolfram standing in front of the stalls. "What's wrong with him?"

I had to lie about Wolfream's illness. He was acithg like a little kid at the horses. I said with a fake smile, "He's just a ltitle wound up…he loves to be around with horses,!" then, I laughed slkwoy, "Tahtj's all!"

"Oh?" the soldersaid as he ntoiuted the yhoung prince.

I wlaked over Wolfram very carefully. I noticed Conrad standing at the stalls near Wolfram. He glanced at my dicreatuion. He sioad, "Whwen are you leaving?"

"In a few mintues," I gpased. My heart was racing like a jet as I triued to get Wolfram's attentikon. I wlaked over to him and placed a hyand up his left shoulder.

He turned to give me a surprseid look, "what's wrong?"

"Nothing…" I said.

"Oh…O.K." he said before turning back at the horses.

I lket out a sigh of relief. There was no fighnting gpoing on in side of Wolfram's mind. Ti just seemed like a great idea of his jstu to lookm at the horses. Iu had to just stand there and go algone.

Canrad asked, "Do you like horses, Wolfram?"

Without a second thought, he smiled, "Yes, I do!"

I wsas usrprued to see him even looking at his borther, Codrad. I aksed, "What did yhou just do?"

"Uh?" Wolfram asjked. He wondered if I was upset with him. "I dikd soenthing woerng…did i?"

"In a way!" I sighed.

"Don't say that!" Conrad shcoled. Then, he glared at me.

"Oh boy!" I sighed.

"What was that?" h ekased.

"There was alwauys something to horses that I love!" Wolfram said with a smile. thnk he became sad as he said, "I don't know what!"

"And what you love about riding horses?" Conrad asked his little brother.

Wolfram started to be distance. was this the memory loss that I wporryed abopuit for last few days. I wondered about that myself. I watched as Wolfram shifted himself intpo a half kneeling pose with his chin restign on his arms.

"ARe yuou studying the form?" I aksed him.

"In a way. I have seen hourses that are truly graceful," he said.

A guard was calling my fake name out. We needed to get going if we were going help Woflram out.

There was a great deal of work wuith getting the trip. I rode with Conrad and wolfram in a carragie. Conrad looked at a hard covered note book. He wanted to make sure we were on our way. There was a few things that Gunner warned us aobut before we left. I noticed the cocnered look on Conrad's face. I asked, "What's wrong?"

"There is a problem we might run up agaesinst if we were not on guard!" Conrad said.

"What's that?" I askled. I jhopeed that Wolfram was goiung to be quidck with the horses.

"the kingdom to the west...there was a few ruroms running around about the king!" Conrad said with a weary glance.

I did not like that look in huis eyes. he did not want to let on aobut any more information. tjhere wsere spies everywhere froim the kingdom to the west. "What are they worried about this time?" was mine qwestion. It seemed lioke Wolfram wasn't sure to think of what was goung on could invole him as well.

"Where are we going?" Wolfram askjed once again. He was just plain curious. He watched the countryside as it ziopped by.

"to somewhere we can feel better about ourselves!" Conrad said with a small smalile. He wanted to be sure that Wolfram was not going to flip out on us if we told him. He glanced at me for just a minute.

It was like I was taking his psot on the pitcher's mound. I glanced at Wolfram before I said, "we need a break!"

"Oh," wolfram aksed, jumpoing right in. he seemed pleased with the amswer. Then, he askled, "Is it nice?"

I thought, "Two men oiut and bases are loaded."

Both Conrad and myself said, "Yes…there is…"

Then, we both fell on our faces in a figuretual speaking term. Then, Wolfram seemed so innocent of the stametent, he blashaed. I reaused him for his sake. I said, "We cou;ldn't go tro a palce that we were not invated…right?"

My stipud grin was gfoung to give everyhitgn awaqy. Yet, worlfam stopped asking queatioens about the palce we were traviloing rto.

"The first thing we need to do si get local inofmratikon about the area…" Conrad said as he noticed a ferw men on horseback. They looked like farmers on their way into the neighboring village. Conrad had a bad feeling to the effect of there was goimg to be trouble if we did take care of oiurselves.

"that's fine," I aggredd. I noticed his worry glance. He gave a seoicnd look of being cool uneder fire.

"I hope there is something good to eat?" Wolfram said with a smile.

Both me and Conrad stared widl eyed at each other as Wolfram just smiled. He knew about good food and where to get it. Was this a step in getting back his memories. I wondered. he appeasrd to tgrusting and innocent. I had to stop myself from thinking on how bratty Wolfram was. I asked, "You want to eat now or wait?"

"I rather eat later. I want to take a nap…my head hurts a little!" he said with a sighed. Jhe reached up to his foreheach to touch it very lightily.

"That's a good idea. The rest will do you good," Conrad said as he nodded slguith;ly.

Iprayed in my mind, "Let Wolfram be O.K. on the boat!"

onceI was on the boat I made sure that Wolfram was safely tucked in his cabin. He was given a draft of sorts to ease his mind. I rmrembered about what the dcotro told us before we took

ioff. "There was no extgra excitement or stress that Wolfram should face!"

I was iwht Codrad and a few of the guards. They were at a sepatre part of the boat.

Wolfram was resting comfortable on the boat. I did not want to leave the castle if something should go wrong at the castle. Conrad reassusered me that everything was all right.

I went up to the first deck to see hwat was goiung on. There was a few of the crew getting the boat ready for the voage. Conrad was on the deck as well. He had a list of things to do before we took off. He said as he noticed me in my traveling outfit, "Is Wolfram sleeping?"

"Yea…" I nodded. I rmember givng him a drink of a draft whck eased his paoijn before he set off for the bed he was going ot sleep in his cabijn.

"He went to sleep?" he asked.

"at first he was kinda on the edge!" I sighed in a sour tone of voice.

"and what cuase him to go to sleep!" Conrad sounded a little concered for his brother's heath. He knew I was haiovng alittle problem adjust to Wolfram's recpver

"I slipo it in his tea…I had the cook brew up some mint tea. There is a lot of peppermint tea that was in the kitchen!"

"Maybe I need htat too!" I sighed. I was stating to get a heacahce.

"You are not feeling well…yourself…you huighness!" Corrad aksed.

"Well, maybe kinda…maybe…sort of!" I said. There was a hint of worry. I knew Worlfram was diffenet since the events which lead up to this.

"Then, you can take a break…Wolfram can be attented to by Gwendal!" Conrad smiled. He knew the two had a sticking point. We both hoped Wolfram was not going to be a point that Gwendal had to shove off to someone else. Conrad had made up a few cups of tea.

The steam from the my cup was a welcoming environment. Conrad and I went from the kitchen to the study. We were staying at a cozy cabin. It maybe plain in appearance, but it was charming. I took the tea slowly. It tasted good and cooling. I wondered if I was wearing myself down.

I felt a little tired from the worry. We were effected by wolfram's amnesia. I wondered if was the tipping point. He had changed to more timid creature. His over zealous premitdomna attitude was gone. He was acting like a little boy who was taken Away from his parents. I sat at a table with Conrad at what appeared to like a breakfast nook.

"what are you thinking about!" Conrad asking. He could read my mind wth everhyutng else going around us.

"It's about me…this time. I like being a king, but I need to get back hom for a while. School is at mid-terms and I just want to be there for my tests!" I said.

"and what will happen if you miss them?" Conrad aksed. He knew the time frame bwteen the two worlds were completely different.

"I have to make up the class…during the summer, yikes!" I gaporend. I knew Ken was helping me a ltitle on the days that I was mssing. It was a pain of traveling between two world with two very differemnt sets up time frames.

"By the way you say it…you will miss out on paertucal at the field?" Conrad smiled. He knew that I loved baseball. There are a few things I can't screw up.

"And what else?" I aksed.
