The day when I would be executed finally arrived I would be killed by means of leathal injection I was happy about somthing for the first time in well since I was 16 when I finally got out of residential
"Miss are you ready "
"yes sir I am "
They straped me to a wheelchair and wheeled me to the execution room if you wanted to call it that
It didn't take us long to get there
And when we did the corrections officer removed the leather restraints from my wrists not that I would do anything but it's a safety precaution
As I got up I looked around the room there was a metal table I noticed to the right of the table was a metal tray with several syringes maby 6 or 7 it was hard to say and to the left of the table was what looked to be tanks of nitrous oxide
I made my way over to the menacing looking table
I shiver as I lay down on the table feeling the cold hard steel agenst my skin, my long blue hair cascading over the sides and edges of the metallic table,
My wrists held in place with leather restraints
"any last words"
"freedom "
I smiles as they put the mask over my face I inhale as I feel the gas press agent my lips it wasn't long after that when I started to feel numb
It was a satisfying feeling
Of slowly slipping away
The last thing I remember was hearing the soft beeps of the heart monitor as my pulse began to slow
It got slower and slower as it faded out till I herd nothing absoulty nothing but silence
*theres freedom in death *
Was I dead or was I asleep it was hard to say every thing was black
"hello darkness my old friend I've come to talk to you again "
Ok I'll admit it was pretty boring sitting alone in the abyss of darkness
That was till somthing happened that would change my life? Forever
Corrections officer's POV
I felt bad for the poor girl never once did I think she was guilty she was always so polite
Her heart had stoped
We were going to take her off of the moniter but then the strangest thing happened the moniter started to beep again
End POV
I started to feel strange kind of fluttery if that makes any sense then I woke up
My heart had stopped, I was dead, the injections had infact killed me
I listened at the moniter it was a steady beep to steady in fact it was to slow most people waking up from an experience like that would have a pulse rate of 120 at the very least but no mine was only at 60
I thought maby the moniter was misreading it so I focused on the rythem of my heart beat there was something strange about it
It wasn't a heart beat at all but rather the soft ticking of a clock
A\N dundundun cliffhanger yay
