"This is a disaster."

Tsukauchi A.K.A. True Man arrived at the scene not long after the medical team began filing in to begin treating the wounded. Looking around at the destruction, he could only begin to imagine what kind of quirk, was this destructive to leave this much devastation in its wake after only a single use.

"If this truly is the work of All For One…", he couldn't even finish the thought as a fearful shiver ran down his spine remembering how monstrous the man was before All Might finished him off in their last encounter.

Surveying the scene his eyes widened as he spotted Endeavor being lifted onto a gurney, with the top of his face gushing blood on the left side near his eye. Jeanist was already up using his quirk to seemingly try and stop the wound from getting any worse and soon the two were being loaded into an ambulance.

"Jeanist, what happened to Endeavor!?" he asked, dreading the answer he knew was going to get.

"He was in front of me when the blast went off and a piece of shrapnel from somewhere slashed his face horribly. I'm not even sure if his eye is still intact but I'll keep wrapping his left side with my fibers until he goes under for surgery." Tsukauchi could see the panic on his face even if half of it was covered in denim.

"Jeanist is always calm, cool and collected in times of panic so to see him like this is worrisome.." unable to even finish the thought he then looked at a different building and saw different rescue teams bringing people down from a roof in order to give them medical attention. The next person they brought down was Hawks, who was still completely unconscious with his wings having no sign of life to them.

"Hawks is out of commission too," he noted. "This is one of the worst incidents I've seen in all my years on the force. Hopefully there's no casualties." However, thinking back to the shape Endeavor and Hawks were in, it did not bode well for the other side kicks and civilians caught in the blast too.

Finally spotting Toshinori and Aizawa, he hurried over to them and failed to notice All Might carrying a small child wearing torn clothes who looked far too frail. The boy obviously wasn't japanese and had sun kissed blonde hair which made him stand out quite a lot even if he was unconscious.

"Who is he?"

Aizawa paused a moment to look at the child before answering "We aren't very sure but we believe that this child is the reason for...this incident today." He wasn't surprised when the officer's face lit up with a horrifying expression.

"You can't be serious," and the expressions on his and Toshinori's face said all he needed to know. Tsukauchi was no fool and understood that quirks were sometimes like the lottery and nobody really knows what quirk they might receive or how dangerous it might be. If this child really did do all this, then this does not bode well for the boy's future whenever the commission gets filled in.

"Even if it wasn't his choice and was out of control, the amount of panic that is running through Japan at the moment is at the highest possible level and we still don't even understand who he is and what his quirk is supposed to be." he thought to himself quickly before deciding to continue with his questions.

"He's not japanese. What nationality is he?"

"German." Aizawa stated plainly although his expression betrayed his curiosity and worry for the boy next to him.

"German?!" Tsukauchi at this point felt like was losing his mind with everything happening so fast. "How in the world did a german child end up all the way in Japan?"

"We aren't really sure, but we can confirm that he doesn't speak the language and I'll need to stay with him in order to keep his quirk turned off in case he decides to go nuclear again. He's already a threat even now so imagine him waking up in a hospital surrounded by strangers poking and prodding him and not being able to speak the language."

"If his quirk went off in an already crowded hospital, it'd be even more of an unprecedented disaster than it already is."

"The best thing I can do at the moment is stay with him until he wakes up so we can calm him down without fearing him doing this again." Aizawa silently thought about how many people were going to be out for this kid's blood and made a vow to make sure someone was on his side when things got messy down the line.

And they will get messy.

Looking at All Might he noticed the man uncharastically quiet throughout the conversation and the grim face he was making led Tsukauchi to believe he was blaming himself.

"Toshinori, you of all people know better than anyone, some things are impossible to predict."

"I know that.., but he looked like he was so hurt and confused. Like he didn't understand what was happening and unless this was the first time this has happened, I believe "He" had a hand in this tragedy today."

"You mean All For One right?" Toshinori and Tsukauchi froze, not realizing they wouldn't be able to hide this from him. "I deal with the scum of the earth and the lowest of the low on a nightly basis. That man was on my radar a few years back before suddenly dropping off the face of the earth."

They both forgot Aizawa was standing right next to them and while only the higher ups and a select few heroes know how dangerous he is, Aizawa had been working the underground scene for years and that name did come up from time to time. He never asked anyone about it other than a few people in the commission but they gave him the runaround time and time again.

"I won't bother asking what little secret you two are hiding, but I expect an explanation on why this All For One person is capable of destruction on this scale if I barely was able to gain any info on him during my underground sweep back then." His quirk was still active looking at the child barely turning up to look at them during his spiel.

"A-Aizawa you have my word, I'll fill you in the moment we can secure this boy's safety and make sure he's no longer volatile. Toshinori, looked at Tsukauchi before turning back to him to say "And I mean everything."

"It's far too many unknown factors to not have you on our side and you have shown today that you have the heart of a true hero along with being someone I can trust, so I promise I'll tell you the story of my quirk, AFO and his quirk and everything in between after this is over."

Toshinori hated revealing parts of himself to others but Aizawa might become a very valuable ally in the near future if this event is any indication.

"Especially if this boy is tied to that man who I thought was dead and buried."

The mention of this supposed villain being "dead and buried" made Aizawa curious, but pushed it to the back of his mind before turning his attention back to the boy in his arms.

"We can't hold off any longer, we've gotta get him onto an ambulance and to the hospital before Midnight's quirk wears off."

"We are also gonna need that translator woman you employ since her quirk will be helpful helping us understand him and getting him to open up."

"Right."

Tsukauchi began pulling out his phone to begin making the necessary arrangements and All Might felt his stomach and muscles churn and soon realized his time limit was almost up.

"Damn, I thought after that rush I felt, I'd be good for another few hours at least." * cough*

"Aizawa, I have to go and won't be able to follow you all to the hospital." He began to hand him the child while the man had obvious confusion on his face.

As he saw Aizawa prepared with questions he knows he'll have to answer he simply tells him, "This will all be explained after the boy is secured you have my word after all, but if I stay here any longer my time limit will expire and my secret will be exposed to the world."

Feeling a migraine coming on, Aizawa could only hum in annoyance but nodded his head in understanding.

"You better have a good explanation for this." Taking the child from All Might's arms, the man gave them both a smile and sped through a nearby alleyway soon gone like the flash.

Unsure of what to say all Aizawa could do at this point was motion for Tsukauchi to signal for them to help get this boy to a hospital so answers could be given.

To everyone.

"Eraserhead! Bring the boy over to us slowly so we can secure him." called a medic who was still securing another civilian into a gurney.

Walking with the boy in his arms ever so slightly, he made it to an all black ambulance that looked too much like a prison medical bus for his liking.

"We're gonna put the kid in that?"

Turning to his colleague Midnight who was tasked with keeping her quirk active to keep him asleep she could only sigh in acknowledgement with how messed up everything was.

"I don't like it anymore than you do, but the higher ups said this is a must for this kid and they wouldn't tolerate anything less. I hope Tsukauchi can pull some strings because you and I both know they'll throw him in a medically induced coma if the opportunity shows itself."

Frowning but realizing she's speaking the truth he decides to go with it, until he can talk to All Might and get some damn answers from him about this mess.

The boy in his arms didn't so much as stir and it made it seem like he was sleeping. "Sorry kid, but this is gonna be a difficult day for you whenever you decide to wake up. I hope you can handle it." Handing him off to one of them in the back of the ambulance, the medics quickly hooked him up and tied him down before motioning for the two of them to get in as well. The doors shut tight and they were off to the nearest hospital at a breakneck pace.

"Was all this really necessary?" Aizawa thought to himself after seeing the measures the commission used to keep word of the kid's presence from spreading throughout the hospital. The entire wing of the hospital had been sectioned off and guards were littered everywhere.

"Where the hell are those two anyway? I need to be able to talk to the kid before the commission starts sinking their teeth into him. If they make their decision and begin the paperwork for putting him into Tartarus then they'll be nothing anyone can do."

Watching him through the waiting room glass, he could see that he was hooked up to all sorts of medication to keep him sedated and calm which Aizawa had no problem with as that part was for the best. The handcuffs and restraining him down to the bed, not so much.

"We're gonna spook the shit outta the kid once he wakes up," groaning to himself internally about the extreme measures they were taking with a mere child.

"Eraser, long time no see!" He didn't even have to turn around to recognize the happy go lucky voice that irked him so.

"You cannot be serious right now. What is Joke doing here!"

Turning around he saw Midnight and Ms. Joke walking towards him and Aizawa knew that another migraine was beginning to make itself known in his head. "Just my luck huh.".

"What are you doing here, Joke? I thought this area was off limits except for personnel cleared by the commission." saying it with his signature flat expression hoping she'd get the message and leave.

"That's the thing, Eraser, it looks like they wanted any person with quirks that could keep the boy calm in case things get messy again! I'm honestly surprised they needed this many people assigned to him. Isn't this reserved for people on the Tartarus waiting list?" she said with far too much cheerfulness for his taste.

"How old is he anyway? He looked so frail and tiny when they were carting him in here."

"Not sure. When All Might and I found him, the kid didn't speak japanese as he was german so we weren't able to get much out of him."

Aizawa began to look down towards the floor, self loathingly so, remembering how hurt and scared the boy looked at them. "I don't think the kid meant for this to happen. There's no way he'd react like that if it was intentional."

"I have to agree with you Aizawa," Nemuri replied with certainty.

"Same here." Joke agreed.

Looking back up at the clock, Aizawa began wondering if they'll even have enough time to talk to the boy before the commission stepped in.

"Although, I wish those two would hurry up already. We are running out of time." muttering to himself.

"Oh right! I almost forgot to tell you, Tsukauchi said that the big guy will be a little late, so you two go ahead with the interrogation."

Remembering the talk he had with those two before he arrived with Midnight, he could hope that the answers he received were satisfactory.

"That's fine. I just hope we can get some answers out of him. The public and media is in a frenzy so unless he can give us something of use, they'll pin this all on him."

The two women looked at each other, but didn't reply knowing that while cynical, he spoke the truth. "Reality is cruel and people will want something or someone to be angry at and hold accountability for this incident."

Turning around to grimly gaze back into the window he continued, "And it'll be him."

Nobody was able to dispute what he had said, knowing how truly viscous their society could be and the air around them was filled with a certain uncertainty that wouldn't be able to be cleared until they knew just what they were dealing with.

"Sorry I'm late, things are a mess down at the station right now." Turning his head, he saw Tsukauchi standing in the door with a tired expression covering his face.

"What took you so long?," Aizawa asked in annoyance.

"Things got even weirder once you left with Midnight and the child. There were quite a few..surprises hiding among the injured civilians. The main one included a wanted criminal that was recently on the run."

"She assaulted her classmate a few weeks ago and has been on the run ever since, while we aren't sure of all the details, we are sure that her quirk was part of the reason for the incident. When we attempted to restrain her she put up a fight , but was no match for the heroes there and was swiftly restrained and sedated."

Turning to Midnight and Joke he added, "The commission wants you two to head to the room she's being held in and waiting on standby in case she starts attacking everyone again."

"She was far too athletic to be so young," he thought to himself remembering how she was able to out maneuver and stab an officer in the shoulder before being restrained.

"What's up with all these dangerous children today?" Joke asked with a curious frown on her face.

"Her quirk has something related to blood as it's all she talked about once was we were able to talk to her. Vlad was the one to restrain her and since his quirk is also blood related, we figured it'd be best to leave her with someone who can relate to her on a similar level."

"He'll be the one talking to her and you two will be outside for support in case things go south." he finished his run down hoping to get them both out of the room as soon as possible.

"Sure that'll be no issue." Nemuri replied.

"Right, we should get going then. Don't wanna keep the boys in blue busy!" Joke replied with a far too bright and determined look in her eyes.

"Oh! I almost forgot, Tsukauchi, what's her name anyway? I want to at least be able to greet the girl properly when we enter."

"Himiko Toga and she's only around 12 or 13 so while she's a suspect, she's still a minor so don't do anything rash."

"Alright thanks for the info, Tsukauchi."

Heading out for their assignment, Joke stopped short of the exit and turned her head looking directly at Eraser with a grin that annoyed him to no end.

"Bye, Eraser! It might be fate that keeps bringing us together!"

"Go out with me!"

"No."

Not one to be deterred, she was surely about to continue her objective had Midnight not grabbed her by the collar to drag her friend out of the room.

"Nemuri, let me go- he was surely going to say yes if I asked him 30 more times! Please, don't do this!-"

And with that Midnight slammed the door behind them, dragging her friend kicking and screaming down the hall much to Eraser's relief.

Now just the two of them, both knew it was time to begin the interrogation with this mystery boy they had on their hands. Tsukauchi looked at Aizawa, eyes still tired, but curious as to what was going through his head.

"Toshinori and my colleague will be here in a few minutes once I give them the OK. I didn't want the other two to see All Might in his weakened state."

"Weakened?" Seeing the man pulling out his phone to text them, Aizawa didn't say anything knowing that the answer to his question would be answered in just a few moments.

Putting his phone back away, Tsukauchi walked to the window and peered into the room the boy was being held in and just stared like was lost in thought. Aizawa knew that expression all too well.

"Were you able to understand the writing that was left on his clothes?"

Tsukauchi shook his head. "At first we thought it was in German, but it's in a language we haven't seen before." It's not in any language that we could find so we are hoping he can fill us in on what it means when we talk to him."

In another part of the hospital away from prying eyes, Toshinori was on a phone call getting chewed out over the phone by his old mentor who wasn't very happy about what he was hearing from his old protegee's mouth.

"You said WHAT! How could you be so foolish, Toshinori!"

"I understand your feelings, but I felt like the situation left me with no choice and I have a feeling we can trust him."

"He showed bravery and wisdom beyond his years when it came to analyzing the situation downtown. Without him there's no way I would've been able to get in close and calm him down long enough for Midnight to sedate him." Hearing nothing on the other end of the phone, he continued.

"Combine that with the usefulness his quirk brings and the fact that he's already heard the name 'AFO' along with the mystery that name brings during his underground patrols and it's a no brainer."

"I hope you can understand my point of view here."

Hearing silence once more, he began to wonder if Torino would even agree to this after staying so secretive and reclusive all these years.

"Sigh."

"Listen Toshinori, if you truly believe bringing this man on board is the right thing to do… I'll trust your judgement because if you really think that man is back…" he trailed off unable to finish the frightening thought.

"I understand and I thank you for your show of support. Before we talk to the boy, I plan on filling him in on everything before we get started with talking with the young man."

Amidst everything, that little crying child in the middle of so much destruction still managed to take precedence over anything else in his mind at the moment. He could only begin to imagine how chaotic Japan is at the moment as no answers were being given to the public, thanks to the commission wanting to keep this under wraps.

"If this boy is tied to All For One, then I feel like we should put all our effort into saving this young man from his clutches." Toshinori replied.

"A quirk being that volatile made no sense and the fact that the boy appeared from a lightning strike that big gave him reservations on that truly being his 'quirk'. It just had too many holes for that theory to make sense. The boy definitely looked older than four, which is normally when the power manifests itself and he looked like he had no idea what happened."

"I could be wrong, but I've got this feeling at the center of my very being, the boy wasn't aware of what happened to him and the fact that he doesn't speak our language and isn't even from this country makes me believe that he was kidnapped."

"Whether that's AFO or someone close to him is still up for debate, but including Aizawa will be crucial to investigating this catastrophe."

"Looks like things are about to get complicated again huh, Toshinori."

"I'll get ready to meet with this Aizawa fellow before I decide to trust him, but the way you've just described things gives me a bad feeling about it all. If he's as good as you're claiming then he and I will investigate the underground scene while you and Tsukauchi look above the surface and see what turns up."

"Alright, it's so good to hear from you again, but I have to go and meet with the others and fill them in."

"Bye, Toshinori."

"Goodbye, Torino and I'll be sure to keep you updated on what we find." *click* And with that the phone call ended and Toshinori was left to his thoughts awaiting the text from his old friend.

His thoughts began to drift to his predecessor who entrusted him with the task of protecting the peace and he felt like he'd failed her yet again.

"Nana...if this man-, no, if this monster has really returned, then I will make sure he is brought to justice this time. I can't afford to make the same mistake again," he thought, touching the injury that plagued his existence.

Hearing the door open, a sharply dressed woman with silver hair stuck her head to let him know it was time to go.

"All Might, I've got the green light and this part of the hospital has been sectioned off. We can leave whenever you're ready."

"Thank you for letting me know, Mishima san. I'm ready whenever you are."

Now that the call with his mentor was out of the way, All Might left the room and headed down the hall towards where the other two were located to begin the whole ordeal.

Upon seeing this mummified man enter through the door Aizawa already had some sort of idea of who he was.

"All Might?" He was absolutely stunned by the state the normally bulky man was in and unable to properly what he was seeing.

"Yes Aizawa, it is me. I understand you undoubtedly have questions about my appearance and I assure you they will be answered in due time."

Tsukauchi motioning the woman to shut and lock the door behind them, began to speak,

"First, I'd like to introduce you to my assistant, Yukari Mishima, whose quirk allows her to create an invisible bubble of sorts and anyone inside said bubble can understand whatever the other person is saying. It'd be like him hearing German but we'll hear it as if he's speaking japanese."

"It's not perfect, but it's the best we can do with what little we understand at the moment."

"What about the commission? How much time do we actually have to talk with the kid?"

"Do not worry, Aizawa. I managed to pull some strings so that we could have as much time as we needed with the situation at hand," Toshinori stated.

Knowing they had far more time than he originally thought calmed him down somewhat, but he was still very on edge as he had questions that needed to be answered.

"Aizawa, what I am about to tell you is of utmost importance and must be kept secret at all cost. If word were to get out, the very state of Japan could be thrown in disarray."

Motioning for the man to take a seat, he joined him and Aizawa could see a sort of serious determination take over the mummified man's eyes.

"The story I am about to tell you is one that dates back over a hundred years. Whether you believe me or not is up to you, but I hope you begin to understand why I've been so secretive with my quirk."

"What do you mean? Is it about your quirk?"

"No, it is far larger than that."

"This is the story of two brothers who have shaken the very fabric of hero society as we know it and…the story of my quirk, One For All and my greatest foe, All For One."

Time still flowing forward, Toshinori began filling the man in on everything he knows in hopes he'll gain another ally in his fight for justice.

Unbeknownst to the people in the room, Zeke was having quite the conversation in his own mindscape.

And the boy didn't quite know what to make of it.
