Chapter 2: Day 1: At Hinata's house

As Hinata shut the door, Neji appeared from the corner of the hallway.

"What did they need?" Neji asked Hinata calmly.

"Lady Tsunade assigned me on a mission with Sakura and Sai for a few days. Some type of animal transformation jutsu was cast upon Naruto. He looks like a cat and behaves like a cat time to time. I'm going to let them stay here in the guest bedrooms until Lady Tsunade finds a way to remove the jutsu." Hinata explained to Neji.

Neji nodded in approval of Hinata's decision as he walked away. As Hinata smiled at Neji before he walked away, she realized that she didn't know where Naruto went at all.

"Naruto-kun where are you?" Hinata said sweetly.

No response was heard yet.

"Naruto-kun, can you hear me?" She said again as she walked to her living room.

"Sorry Hinata, I had to use the bathroom nya." Naruto said as his tail wavered slowly.

Hinata nodded and headed to the kitchen with Naruto.

"Would you like to eat anything Naruto kun?" She asked Naruto.

"No thanks, just a glass of water nya." Naruto said as he smiled at Hinata.

"God he looks so cute when he smiles like that!" Hinata said in her mind.

After Hinata poured Naruto a glass of water, she noticed that he wasn't standing at the counter anymore. Before she could call his name, she heard a 'meow' from below her. As she looked down at her feet, she seen Naruto crawling to her as he gazed into her eyes.

"Meow!" Naruto said as he starred up upon her.

"Meow to you too!" Hinata said sweetly as she rubbed Naruto's head.

After she gave Naruto a drink of his water, she heard a knock on her door again. As Hinata opened the door, she was again greeted by Sakura and Sai with bags of clothing. As she let them in, she started to lead Naruto and the other to the guest bedrooms upstairs.

"How was Naruto while we are gone?" Sakura asked as she walked next to Hinata.

"He was okay, I notice that after he says something, he says 'nya'" Hinata stated,"Also, I noticed that for a little while, he acts like a normal human but then he behaves like a cat."

Sakura nodded as she listened to Hinata's description. As they finally reached the guest bedrooms, they each opened the door to find a closet and bed in each room.

"Thanks for letting us stay here, we really appreciate it." Sakura said as Sai bowed.

"No problem, I could take Naruto-kun's stuff and set up his room." Hinata smiled as she took his clothes and put them in a bedroom. "When you guys are done, you could come downstairs for something to eat."

As Hinata sat on the bed inside a guest bedroom with Naruto's clothes, Naruto crawled inside and hopped onto the bed next to hear. He shifted a few times in order to be comfortable. After a few more turns, he was finally comfortable on his back while laying on Hinata's leg. He purred silently as his ears twitched and his tail curled around his leg. Hinata smiled at the sight of Naruto smiling at her. But after a few seconds, his eyes shut quickly startling Hinata. He opened his eyes once again, showing he was in his normal mental state. Hinata was relieved to see that he was okay.

"Where am I, nya?" Naruto said as he sat up from Hinata's lap.

"We're upstairs in one of the guest bedrooms." Hinata said as she smiled at Naruto.

"That's nice nya. Hey you know what's sounds good right about now, nya?" Naruto said as he stood up happily.

"What is it Naruto-kun?" She asked in interest.

"A cup of milk nya." He said as he smiled.

Hinata held back a laugh as she watched Naruto talk about a glass of milk.

"He is so cute when he's happy, I love you Naruto." Hinata thought inside her mind.

"You ready to go downstairs Naruto-kun?" Hinata said sweetly as she opened the door.

"Sure nya!" Naruto said as he followed Hinata downstairs.

After a few hours at Hinata's house, everyone took their showers and started to settle down for the night.
