Chapter 2

The first thing I felt was pain, my whole body ached as if I had been struck by lightning. So showing my maturity I complained. I heard someone move next to me and grab my hand.

"Shh shh, son, everything is going to be fine." I felt his hand run through my hair.

"Dad?" I tried to open my eyes but the light bothered me a lot.

"Yes, son," my father told me softly. " What do you need? Water? Ambrosia? "

"The light" I said weakly. I heard my father make a confused noise. "The light hurts"

"Do you want me to turn it off?" I nodded, I heard him move and then he came back to my side stroking my hair "There, Percy, can you open your eyes"

I tried to open my eyes and this time it didn't hurt as much. When I looked up I saw that my father was sitting in a chair next to my bed, when he saw that I was looking at him he smiled.

"Do you need me to call Apollo? He said that in half an hour he would be back, but if you want I can call him right now "

Listening to it, look at the room I was in. I am surprised to realize that it is similar to the camp infirmary although it had certain differences, one of the most important is that it is twice as large and the beds are much more comfortable, when I looked at the floor I realized that it was made of marble, unlike the camp infirmary that the floor was made of wood.

"Percy?" I realized that I was distracted looking at the room and had not responded to my father, I shook my head cursing, again, my ADHD.

"It doesn't matter, I wait for him to come back." My father smiled at me and nodded. "Dad?"

"Yes?"

"Where I am?" I asked him, although I already had a suspicion of where he was.

"Where else are you going to be, son? We are in the Apollo infirmary "

"Oh, how long was I unconscious?" I asked him, realizing that I didn't know what had happened to me "And what happened to me? The only thing I remember is a bright light "

"You were unconscious for 2 days, I must say you scared me when you didn't wake up after a few hours" My father looked at me fondly "But after all it has been a long time since we turned a demigod into a God."

"Okay, and when can I get out of here?"

When my father was going to answer me, a voice was heard. "We will know that once I can see how you are"

My father and I turned around and saw Apollo leaning on the door. Seeing us look at him, he smiled at us.

"Hi Percy, I'm glad you woke up, I don't think I could have endured another day with Uncle P asking me, every time he saw me, when you were going to wake up"

I looked at my father, who was staring at Apollo. When he felt my gaze, he looked at me and smiled.

"Apollo you can't blame me for being worried about my son. After all, it's the first time I can be with him when he gets hurt without Zeus creating a drama. "We heard thunder in the distance. My father looked towards the place where, I think, the throne room must be. "Zeus don't try to deny it, if you know it's true" When thunder was not heard my father laughed and winked at me.

"Uncle, I'm sorry to interrupt your discussions with my father, but I'd like to check on Percy to see if he's healed already."

When my father heard him, he smiled at him and got up from his chair.

"Well I'll go then." My father looked at Apollo. "As soon as you finish checking it, you send someone to look for me, I'll be in the throne room." Seeing that Apollo nodded, Poseidon looked at me and smiled at me. "Percy listen to Apollo, after all he is the God of Medicine" With that last comment my father left the room leaving Apollo and me alone.

Apollo approached me "Before I check on you, does something hurt? Do you have an annoyance? "

I didn't know whether to tell him the truth, but then I remembered that Apollo was the God of Truth. "When I woke up, my whole body ached, as if I had been struck by lightning and would be burned. Then the light bothered me, but I think there is nothing else "

Apollo nodded and scribbled something on a notepad. Then he approached my bed "Can I start checking on you?"

Seeing that I nodded, he smiled at me and placed his hands on my chest. I felt warmth where his hands passed and I saw how they began to shine, after a while he moved his hands away and wrote something in the notebook. He repeated this same procedure in several different places. After finishing he looked at me and smiled.

"I have to say, I'm amazed at how quickly you're adjusting to your new powers." Apollo looked at his notes. "Your body, at this moment, is a little bruised but soon you will be like new"

I looked at Apollo waiting for him to continue, seeing that he was not going to speak again I decided to speak to him.

"And?"

Apollo looked at me and raised an eyebrow "What happens?"

"When can I leave the infirmary?"

Apollo was thoughtful. "I think that if everything goes well in a few hours you could go"

Hearing this I couldn't help but get discouraged.

"Couldn't I go before?" I sighed and looked at Apollo. "I don't like staying in bed"

Apollo looked at me and then looked at my whole body.

"If you take it easy I could let you go for a walk in the gardens." I quickly sat up on the bed and smiled at Apollo. He shook his head as he smiled. "Stay in bed, I'm going to find your father to accompany you on the walk."

Once I was alone in the infirmary, I realized my new reality. Now I was a God, I was a God. I always thought that if one day I accepted divinity I would notice a difference in me, but now I realize that I feel the same, I don't notice a difference. The only thing I regret about making my decision is that I am going to see my friends and my mother die. My mother. Shit, she must be worried and she's going to kill me when she finds out that I'm a God now and I didn't tell her anything. I hope Annabeth told her that I'm okay and ...

"Percy, are you okay? You seem to be hyperventilating. "Apollo approached me slowly. I nodded my head. "You're sure? I came to tell you that Uncle P is coming, he was talking to my father "

I tried to calm down, I realized that Apollo was right, I was hyperventilating. "Well. It's okay, I'm going to wait for him here "Apollo looked at me and raised an eyebrow" And yes, I'm fine. I was thinking"

Apollo smiled and sat next to me on the bed "What were you thinking about?"

To be honest, he wasn't sure if I wanted to tell him what I thought. But, after all, Apollo was my cousin and in the future he could become one of my best friends. "I… I just realized that now I am a God. And it seems crazy to me. We are talking about me, that since I met this world I managed to anger any powerful being that I met "I looked up and saw that Apollo was looking at me with amusement. "What happens?"

"You don't realize it, do you?" Apollo shook his head and laughed. "I think that since you entered our world you managed to make anyone you know love you and want to help you to be well"

I looked at Apollo with my mouth open and I laughed incredulously. "Let Apollo, you can not be talking enserio" I looked "You realize that fights Ares when i was 12, Zeus wanted to kill me more times than I can count, Athena hates me for being the son of my father, Hera is Hera, Aphrodite swears to make my love life interesting, and I'm just talking about the Olympians! "

Apollo laughed

"Percy! Let me tell you something: Ares has respect for you because you fought him at age 12, and I think if you ask him he would like to train with you. Zeus has a strange way of showing his affection, but if he hated you he would not have offered you immortality 3 times. Athena doesn't hate you, she just doesn't know how to separate her own problems, Hera is complicated and Aphrodite likes to complicate the love life of her loved ones, and I'm only talking about the Olympians you mentioned "Apollo looked at him carefully. "Your father loves you and anyone who sees the two of you together can see it. You saved my sister and you were always interesting to me, but I couldn't get close because you were a demigod and the old laws suck. Hestia loves you very much and she always mentions how you make the home warmer. My sister respects you and we are talking about Artemis, a Goddess who hates men! And so I can mention most of the gods to you, so I think you will be fine being a God and trust me, after all I am the God of truth. "

Apollo smiled at me and I smiled back at him. I felt something warm on my chest.

"Thank you, thank you very much" I looked at my hands. "I liked you too and I'm glad that now we have the chance to meet and become friends" I looked up and saw Apollo smiling at me. "I think I felt that once my mother and friends died I would be alone in the world"

Apollo hugged me with one arm. "You will always have a family in us and I promise you that you will never be alone." I turned around and hugged Apollo tightly.

"Thank you!"

"Am I interrupting something?" Apollo and I jumped up and saw my father standing in the doorway. Seeing that we freaked out, Poseidon started laughing. "You guys should see your faces!" He pointed to both of us and laughed until he managed to calm down. Before speaking again, he smiled at us. "I'm glad you get along and I think Apollo will help you a lot to adjust." My father came over and clapped his hands. "Apollo told me you wanted to go for a walk. You are ready?"

Hearing the last part I sat up straight and started to get out of bed. Before I could stand up, Apollo grabbed my shoulders. "Wait, take it easy. I don't think you want to pass out again. Let help you Uncle P "I looked angry but nodded.

"Apollo don't abuse, I'll let you call me that because you're helping Percy" My father leaned closer while Apollo laughed. "Come on son, let's see the gardens"

My father helped me up and then put an arm around my shoulders. We waved at Apollo and left the infirmary. I had never been to this area of Olympus, everything was completely beautiful, the walls were made of marble and each of the columns had a different legend carved, Dad and I walked in silence while we looked at the columns. At the end of the hall we stopped.

"Look son" And he pointed to a column, when I looked at it I realized that this column was the Second Olympic War. Looking at the next column I saw that they were the missions Jason and I did when Hera erased our resources and sent us to the other camp. And finally I looked at the last column, in it was the last war and I could not help but shudder when I saw the doors of death carved. "Although it may not seem like it, the Gods see everything that the demigods do for us and we are very proud to call them our children"

I looked at my father and smiled at him. My father started walking.

"Come on, Percy. Let's go to the gardens "

All I think every time I see the gardens of Olympus is that I think it is impossible to get tired of how beautiful they are. The gardens are divided into sections, in each section there is a different type of trees and plants, and if I asked Annabeth, surely, she would tell me that there are plants that are thousands of years old.

Together with my father we walked towards my favorite area of the Olympus gardens, it is a place full of vegetation that surrounds a Jacaranda. I will never forget the first time I visited this section, the whole ground was full of its violet leaves.

Once we got to the tree I realized that they had placed a bench next to it, my father sat down and motioned for me to sit with him.

"Percy I would like to tell you a few things before the meeting that we will have later."

I looked at my father confused. "Reunion? What meeting? "

"In an hour we will meet with Zeus and Hades." I nodded. "In this meeting Zeus is going to tell you what your domains are going to be and Hades is going to tell you something very important regarding the future"

We were both silent for a while, it's a comfortable silence, and I can't help but smile as I realize that now I can spend as much time as I want with my father, it always seemed impossible to me and now it's a reality.

"For my part I want to offer you something" I looked at my father expectantly. "And I want you to know that you are not obligated to accept my offer." He looked at me and I nodded. "I want you to be my general, to be in command of my army and in the face of any possible war you lead them."

I looked at my father and knew my answer in an instant.

"Yes, dad, I want to be your general" My dad hugged me smiling.

"Percy you have no idea how happy you are making me these days, first you accept the divine and now you agree to become the leader of my army. With Triton ruling Atlantis and you being the general, nothing and no one will be able to face the sea "

Hearing this I smiled at him, but then I remembered what I wanted to ask him earlier.

"Dad, can I ask you some things?" Poseidon nodded. "Did someone tell my mom that I became God or that I'm okay?"

"Yes, Annabeth was in charge of calling Sally and telling her that you are fine, although deciding not to tell her that you were a God and let you tell her" I nodded with relief "What else did you want to ask me?"

"I ... I don't want to cause you trouble with Amphitrite and Triton" My father looked at me confused. "I mean, when I was a demigod I didn't have the best meetings with them and I don't think they're happy that I'm a God and that they have to see me for all eternity."

My father smiled at me. "I think you will be surprised the next time you see them, things have changed, but it might be for the better"

I nodded and sighed. "Okay, if you say so"

My father laughs "Yes, I say so" Poseidon looked up. "I think it's time we go to the throne room and see your uncles."

My father and I got up and went to the throne room.
