Everyone was at the Potter's House for a family gathering because why not? Also it was the weekend after Harry and Neville's birthdays. All the Weasley cousins and Longbottom's were over so naturally, it was chaos. Rose was sitting reading a muggle book when Scorpius tried to read over her shoulder, nearly falling on top of her because he lost his balance. While little Augusta ran around the coffee table being chased by Poppy (Who was screaming "give me back my crayons Auggie!") Dominque, Albus, Lily, Zac, Anna, and Gilly were all playing a very noisy game of Exploding Snap, Alice and Frank were arguing over the latest Quidditch games, Louis and Charity went to help in the kitchen (Louis only did this so he could sneak a few bites) Lucy was drawing a very exaggerated, insulting, ugly, nasty looking picture of Molly and Molly who just looked over Lucy's shoulder was screaming at her sister in complete anger. Teddy was annoying Victoire by turning his nose and ears into a dogs and running around her making barking sounds and biting at her hair. James was no where to be seen, which was not a good sign, but as usual it was to chaotic for anyone to notice.
Meanwhile, James was sneaking up the stairs because he had seen something unusual coming down, his dads study door was slightly ajar. Well you know James he couldn't help himself he just HAD to have a look inside. He reached the door it open carefully so not to make any noise. Harry's study was filled with trinkets and lots of photos (Him and the Weasleys, he and Ginny on there wedding day, etc.) James saw a photo of a red headed women and a dark haired man with glasses whom James resembled very much, his grandparents and him and his sisters namesakes. Something caught his eye from across the room. It was a shiny gold necklace with an hourglass in the middle of it. A time turner thought James.
"James!" Yelled Ginny's voice "James come down here I'm going shopping with your aunt and dad"
James quickly stuffed the time turner in his sweatshirt pocket and ran downstairs.
"There you are James" said Ginny Potter "well we are leaving for a bit, your aunt Fleur, uncle Ron and Hannah are in the kitchen but they are really busy so Teddy is going to watch you lot in here" she motioned to all the kids in the room
"And you behave, young man" she said as she walked out of the door.
It was pretty quiet, it must've been his mother walking into the room, we all swear she scares the little ones. Anna turned to him
"Hey James, What's that in your pocket?"
