Hey guys! I'm putting this note here to clear some confusion. Firstly, the title of the episode does not reflect the challenge that will happen in it. While yes, the title is the same as Revenge of the Island's first episode, the challenge will be different. There are some more differences, but I'll explain them when we get to them. Without further ado, let's get this show on the road!
The episode starts with us seeing the dock of Camp Wawanakwa, with it looking notably run-down.
"Yo!" Chris said, popping out from the bottom of the screen, him chuckling. "Remember that? The first line I said on this show, and where are we? That's right! After two seasons of being gone we're back where the show began, right here at Camp Wawanakwa!" The camera zoomed out, showing the entire island. It looked slightly overgrown, with grass around the right of someone's knees. The camera zoomed back to the dock of Wawanakwa, with Chris standing on it.
"Of course, since we've been gone for a while the camp has became different… and more painful!" Chris chuckled again, though it sounded more sinister. "Speaking of different, this year we have a whole new cast!" As Chris said that, the sound of a speeding boat could be heard. "Oh, would you look at that, here they come now."
The camera panned over to the boat, where thirteen new campers could be seen. The camera panned to the first two, one standing with their arms crossed and the other leaning on the rails of the boat. "Here's Jo," Chris announced.
"Stay out of my way if you value your kiwis." Jo told the other camper. "And Scott!" Chris said after.
"Right back at you, buddy." Scott replied. The camera then panned to two more campers, looking out to sea. "Here's Mike and Zoey!" Chris said, referring to the two.
"Can you believe we're really on this show?" Zoey asked Mike.
"Yeah, it's… beautiful." Mike answered, looking lovingly at Zoey. However, their moment was interrupted as someone muscular butted between them, knocking them away. "Lightning!" Chris said.
"Hello gorgeous!" Lightning said, flexing while kissing his biceps. The camera then panned over to Zoey, who had fallen into someone's arms. "Brick!" Chris said, with Brick dropping Zoey when he heard his name, then saluting.
"Brick McArthur, reporting for duty!" After that, the camera panned over to two more campers, one sitting in a lotus position on the boat's rail. "B," B snapped his fingers, "and Dawn!" Chris said! Dawn then put her hand on B's shoulder.
"Your aura is exceptionally purple-ish green," B looked at her weirdly, "It suits you though," Dawn said, B now smiling. The camera then panned over to someone leaning on the boat, wearing glasses. "Dakota!" Chris said.
"Hey there!" Dakota said, giggling, "I'm Dakota and I'm here to-" She said but was cut off by the camera panning, showing someone else who was spraying their hair. "Anne Maria." Chris said.
"Oh yeah, three more coats outta do it!" Anne Maria said, however Dakota pushed her out of the way, looking angry.
"Who said you could pan away from me?!" Dakota said angrily. Anne Maria was not having this though, as she sprayed Dakota with her hair spray.
"Don't push ME blondie!" Anne Maria retaliated. Another girl walked up behind her. "Staci." Chris said.
"My great aunt Millie invented sun tans, ya, before her people smeared them-" Staci explained, but was stopped by Anne Maria who sprayed her with her hair spray. The camera panned to a higher section of the boat, where a boy looked excited to be on the show. "Cameron!" Chris announced.
"I can't believe it! Fresh air, a real lake, and birds!" Cameron exclaimed, taking in all the sights. However, he wasn't careful enough, as he fell down next to someone who was playing a game. "And Sam." Chris said.
"Oh yeah! Grenade Launcher upgrade!" Sam happily said, face in his GameGuy. "Now we're cooking." The camera panned back to Chris at the shore, who chuckled.
"Now, if you think that's all the teens we have this year, you're WRONG! We have fourteen more arriving. Yep, you heard me. There's gonna be more contestants than Any. Previous. Season!" Chris laughed, but was stopped as he heard something rise out of the water. The camera showed a giant squid, notably having spikes on it's head, slamming it's tentacle into the boat, completely destroying it and sending the contestants flying.
Chris was about to explain the toxic waste making the animals huge, but he remembered he had to lay low on that for a few episodes. He stood there for a few seconds, then he came up with an excuse.
"...What an- old squid. Maybe one of Staci's aunts lived while it was… around." Chris chuckled weakly, with him then pulling out a walkie-talkie and whispering into it, "We're gonna need the biggest tranquillizer you can find." Chris then put away the walkie-talkie and looked back to the camera. "Anyway, we should probably check what happened to our newbies; and also meet even more contestants. Find out who they are and what happened when we come back." Chris signed off, and the ads played.
When the ads were finished, we Cameron slam into a rock, whining.
"Is this what pain tastes like?" He asked weakly, with Anne Maria swimming back with an angry expression.
"Chris is SO getting a beat-down for this!" She said angrily. The camera then panned to Zoey and Staci floating on the debris of the boat, but Jo pushed them out of the way and Staci began to sink. "Outta the way! Athlete coming through." Jo said proudly. She then used Sam as a stepping stone and jumped off of him, almost getting his GameGuy wet. We then saw Cameron flailing in the water, crying for help. Scott swam by. "Spaz." He called Cameron. Suddenly, Lightning emerged from the water, holding Cameron.
"I'll save ya little girl!" He said proudly. "I'm a boy!" Cameron responded, but with no response.
The camera then showed Dakota, on a raft, with some paparazzi taking pictures of her. "Hi fellas! How ever did you find me?" She asked.
"Uh, we got your text…" one of the paparazzi responded. However, they were too focused to notice the giant squid behind them, as it slammed their boat, sending them flying. This made Dakota upset.
Now Staci was flailing in the water as she had lost her float. "I wish my third uncle twice removed was here- he invented life preservers!" Staci cried out.
"Hang on, I'm coming!" Zoey and Mike both said. However, they were surprised at this and got embarrassed. They kind of floated there, chuckling nervously, until Staci grabbed Mike out of desperation. Zoey pulled the two up, with Mike spitting out water. "Thanks, I owe you one.." Mike said weakly.
Confessional – Mike
Mike span around the toilet roll that was in the outhouse. "Okay, first confessional. So… Zoey. Nice girl- no not just nice, SUPER nice." Mike sighed. "I'd wonder if she'd go out with a guy like me, but…" He looked down, a bit sadly. "…see, I have this-"quirk", and it's… ruined things for me in the past. All I can hope is that it doesn't this time…"
Confessional – Zoey
"Wow! I'm actually in the Total Drama confessional! It's already so cool to be on this show, everyone seems so nice. Hopefully I can make new friends! Or, friends period." She started looking a bit scared. "What if they all hate me? Maybe my flower is too big? Am I worrying too much? You like me… right?"
End confessionals
Jo walked onto the shore, looking around. Dakota floated to shore on her raft.
"Wait, where did you get a raft from? The whole boat was destroyed!" Jo asked with a serious tone. Dakota looked at the raft she was on. "...I don't actually know." Jo rolls her eyes after hearing that.
"Whatever, I'm still first to-" She stopped talking when she saw Dawn, sitting in a lotus position on a rock. "...How did you get there? You're not even wet!" Jo asked with anger.
"Hm? Oh, I took a shortcut." Dawn responded, not phased by Jo's rage. Brick crawled onto shore, collapsing after.
Confessional – Brick
"I may be a very strong person, but I'm all about teamwork! In cadets I took the teamwork medal three years running! Also the bed making medal, the flag folding medal and the letters home to mom medal. I always win that one."
End confessional
Cameron came onto shore, standing on B's head. He coughed a bit.
Confessional – Cameron
"I'm what's known as a bubble boy," Cameron said while applying hand sanitizer, "Growing up my mom was super overprotective. It's a bit surprising she let me audition for this show honestly, she loves me a lot. She didn't even let me go swimming, so who knew today would be my first experience. I haven't done that much actually, just read and sigh a lot." Cameron sighed. "But even if I'm not the most experienced, I'm still a forced to be reckoned with!" A butterfly flew into the confessional. "No way! Danaus plexippus! The monarch butterfly!" Cameron looked at the butterfly in awe as it landed on his head, making him fall over. "...But I'm very weak."
End confessional
We see almost everyone on shore, with Staci talking.
"...and my great great great grandma Stephanie invented boats. Before her people just crossed the sea on wooden planks." Mike was sitting, arms on his head. "Yeah, that's great." Mike responded, not listening at all. Suddenly, they looked to shore as Sam washed up, with his GameGuy completely dry. He coughed up a fish.
Confessional – Sam
Sam chuckled a bit. "I knew I should have bought that workout game," Sam said as he continued playing his game. "I just hope I don't get out first on this show, that would be lame. I'm not expecting to make it to the finale though, just long enough so the guys back home won't laugh at me. Maybe being eliminated sixth or seventh wouldn't be too bad." He chuckled, and went back to playing his game.
End confessional
"I'm so excited to be on this show!" Zoey exclaimed, "I've been watching Total Drama since season one, maybe I can make some new friends here," She finished. "That would be nice," Dawn responded, "after all you are an only child." She said calmly. This made Zoey surprised. "What?! Who told you that?"
Dawn leaned forward, "Your soul reads like an open book! You had a very lonely childhood, it must have been difficult."
All of a sudden, Chris came down to the shore.
"Now THAT'S a first impression." He said, smiling. "Now, if you can't stand your new friends already, I have some bad news. There's even MORE contestants arriving." Chris said, making all the contestants surprised.
"So you mean there's a chance there's gonna be more people who can barely fend for themselves." Scott said, referring to Sam and Cameron.
"Yep. And it's gonna be a surprise for me too. I barely know who they are, all I have is a picture of them and their names. They should be landing-" Chris stopped as a blimp began descending down nearby. "Yep. Come on, let's met your new friends." Chris began walking into the forest, with the others following.
Confessional – Zoey
"I should've known there were more contestants arriving. After all, Chris loves drama. After watching him for three seasons, I'm surprised I didn't know what would happen. I guess being on this competition makes you think fast, huh."
End confessional
The group made it to a clear area in the forest, where a worn-down blimp was descending. Before it made it to the ground, the balloon popped, and it fell to the ground with a thud.
"FINAL STOP, CAMP WAWANAKWA!" Chef shouted from within.
"And here they come now." Chris said, as all the other contestants waited in anticipation. Firstly, a boy with an orange jacket and a green hat walked out. "Meet Shawn," Chris called out. Shawn looked at his potential teammates.
"You all seem strong…ish. Hopefully you can carry your weight of the apocalypse starts." Shawn walked to the group. The next person to walk out was a small boy with a purple bowl cut. "Here's Max." Chris said. Max looked at the group.
"It seems I have joined a season with no diabolical minds within. That shall change though." Max walked to the group with his arms behind his back.
Confessional – Jo
"If Mr. Hair dye is implying that HE'S the bad guy here, I'll have to drive him into a rock. A second with me and he'll be crying home to mommy." Jo chuckled.
End confessional
The next person to walk out was a girl with a light-olive shirt and black hair. "Here's Sky!" Chris announced." Sky looked at the contestants there so far.
"It seems this season will be interesting. I wish a fair game to you all." Sky walked over to the group, while Zoey just kind of looked at her. The next person to walk out was a boy in a wizard's robe with a fake beard. "Leonard, everybody!" Chris said. Leonard strokes his fake beard as he inspects the contestants
"I say good luck to all of you! My magical powers may overpower this game." This confused some, but Sam seemed confused the most.
Confessional – Sam
"Leonard's a LARPer, which means Live Action Role Playing. Roleplaying is fine, but when people do it in real life… I just don't get it."
End Confessional
The next person to walk out was a boy with a blue shirt and seemed tidy. "This is Dave." Chris said. Dave looked at his new friends for a few weeks. He found a few fine but looked weirdly at the others, notably Scott.
"This will be a long season, I can tell already." Dave said as he walked over to the group, but keeping his distance. The next person to walk out looked like a princess, wearing a pink dress. "Ella, welcome." Chris greeted. Ella immediately shook his hand.
"Greetings to you too! I'm very excited to be on this show," Ella looked at the contestants, "And everyone seems nice as well!" She said, humming as she walked over to the group. The next person to walk out as a not-so-well dressed man who had a large afro. "Beardo, everybody." Chris said. Beardo didn't say anything, and just made a "ding" noise. This made a few confused, especially Dave, as he walked over to the group, B looking at him. The next two people to walk out were two people who looked alike, the only notable difference being one having a mole on their cheek.
"This is Amy and Samey, people!" Chris said.
"It's actually Sammy-" Samey said, but was cut off by Amy.
"No it isn't, now move along." Amy commanded as they walked to the group. Most people looked at Amy weirdly. The next person to walk out was a tall one, almost as tall as the door frame of the blimp. "Here's Jasmine!" Chris said.
"G'day mates," Jasmine said, tipping her hat. Mike looked at her a bit worryingly as she walked over to the group. "That… hat of yours won't fall off, will it?" Mike asked Jasmine.
"A bit of a strange question, but I wouldn't think so." Jasmine responded. The next person to walk out looked a bit like Chris. "Here's… Topher." Chris seemed a bit confused at first. Topher squealed and ran over to Chris.
"I can't believe it! THE Chris McLean! This is a dream come true!" Topher said excitedly. Chris no longer had the confused face and looked happy. "Well, it's always nice to meet a fan of my work. Now, go over to the group. We have a first episode here, we can't take all day." Chris said as Topher walked over to the group. The next person had a pink shirt and blonde hair. "Third to last is Sugar." Chris said. Sugar looked at her competitors. She laughed.
"I wish all y'all luck! You'll need it, I'll win this here game in the blink of a donkey's eye!" Sugar said, walking to the group. This weirded out everybody. The next person to come out was a formally dressed woman. "Scarlett." Chris said. Scarlett counted the amount of contestants.
"With Twenty-Five of you here, counting me and the other person in the blimp, there is a One in Twenty-Seven chance of winning. Keep that in mind." Scarlett said, with Max and Cameron looking at her.
Confessional – Cameron
"Scarlett is very smart. Hopefully we can team up, then my chances of winning would improve, like she said."
End confessional
The final person to walk out was a boy in overalls with orange hair. "And lastly, Rodney." Chris said. Rodney looked at the group, but more so all the females there.
"Wow…" Rodney said as he walked over to the group. Chef walked out, standing next to Chris. "Now that you're all here, it's time I explain the rules of the game. It may be Total Drama, but this year, it's rougher and tougher than EVER! The main difference is every episode, someone will be eliminated." Everyone gasped at this.
"It hasn't been that tough before…" Zoey said.
"Yeah, well including one double elimination there will be twenty-six episodes, which is what I like. Other than that, the main rules of the game are the same: Do challenges, eat gross food, and try to make it to the end. Though, since you're all newbies, I'll let you catch a break," Chris said as he pulled out a wooden carving of his head. "Around the island, there will be one of these McLean Brand Invincibility Statues, patent pending. If you find it, you can use it to discard all of your votes if you're on the chopping block for that night's elimination ceremony," Chris held the statue to his face. "Is the cleft on my chin really that big?" He said, inspecting the statue.
"Yep," Scott responded, "And it looks like a butt." Chris glared at Scott, who was smirking.
"Anyway… you guys need teams, and we're kinda out of time to make them, so…" Chris held up a remote, pushing a button, and a metal wall split the group in half. "Where you were standing determines your team. So Staci, Dave, Leonard, Jo, Lightning, Sugar, Jasmine, Max, Scarlett, Topher, Samey, Amy and Sky, you're Team A. And B, Beardo, Dakota, Sam, Dawn, Ella, Brick, Shawn, Zoey, Anne Maria, Cameron, Rodney, Mike and Scott, you're Team B."
"Sha-team!" Lightning said.
"What about our team names? Every season there has been one." Zoey asked.
"Team Lightning! No, Lightning Squad!" Lightning suggested.
"What about the Undead Destroyers?" Shawn suggested also.
"Great suggestions, but no. Team A, you're the Mutant Maggots! And Team B, You're the Toxic Rats!" Chris announced.
"Killer." Sam said.
"Um, what's with all the references to toxic waste?" Cameron asked. Chris has to come up with a lie again, but it was easier this time around.
"Because… normal team names were boring." Chris said. "Well, we're getting to the ad break, so… who will seize control of their team? And who will fall down to the bottom? Find out when we come back." The ads played.
When the ads finished, the cameras showed a shot of Camp Wawanakwa, until it zoomed into the forest, where Chris, Chef and the contestants were walking down a trail.
"Welcome back to Total Drama Revenge of the Island folks! If you forgot already, we have twenty-seven newbies ready to compete in all kinds of brutal challenges. The season is called REVENGE of the Island after all." Chris chuckled.
"Mind if I ask where you're taking us? You've just told us to follow you and we've been walking for three or so minutes." Mike asked.
"We're just going to the cabins. Somehow, I forgot to show them to you last-" Chris stopped, as he gasped seeing what lay in front of him, with the contestants gasping as well.
The cabins had been destroyed, with barely anything remaining intact. Chris realised the toxic waste dumped on the island had mutated the animals, so it was a high chance they had destroyed the cabins.
"How could this have happened?!" Cameron exclaimed, "the only animals that have been seen on this island barely have enough force to destroy entire cabins!" Chris quickly thought of an excuse, and chuckled.
"Guess they couldn't withstand the test of time." He said, with Scarlett raising an eyebrow at that.
"Wait, so where are we going to stay? I need somewhere to get my beauty sleep!" Dakota asked, still shocked.
"Good question," Chris said, not caring about Dakota's needs. "I did have a first challenge planned, but I guess we'll have to do that next episode. Your first challenge is to build your team a shelter where the previous cabins once stood. You will get Fourty-Five minutes to do so. Since this is the first episode, I'll give you two minutes to discuss how you're gonna do it." Chris explained.
Confessional – Topher
"I must say, it's surprising that Chris isn't bringing out the big guns for the first challenge this time. I mean, in the first season he made the contestants jump off a cliff. Hopefully things will get more intense after this, I'd love to see what Chris' challenges are first-hand!"
End confessional
Both teams sat down where the remains of the cabins were, while Chef put a banner in between the two teams. The maggots began discussing.
"I say we build a wizard's tower!" Leonard exclaimed, "it would be strong and we would be able to see any enemy attacks from far away!"
"That is not a good idea for a structure," Scarlett started explaining, "with the way these cabins were destroyed there has to be something that did so, Chris was clearly lying. If we build a tower, it could easily be knocked down by said creature." Scarlett finished, with Sugar suddenly getting all up in her face.
"Hey! You shouldn't shoot down the wizard's idea, if he knows how'ta do spells he surely can't be wrong." Sugar shouted at Scarlett. While the Maggots argued, the Rats were planning more smartly.
"I say we keep it simple, adding too much to our structure could make it fall." Cameron explained.
"How about a wooden house?" Rodney suggested, "most of our team seems strong, so we could easily make it." Most of the team agreed, aside from Scott and Dakota.
"But if we're working with wood, I could get a splinter!" Dakota exclaimed angrily, while Scott just rolled his eyes at her.
Confessional – Scott
"The problem with this team is everyone is nice or weak, making them barely a threat. The other team got all the actually competitive players, so I guess it's my job to stir up trouble on this team."
End confessional
"Maybe you could find something for us to sleep on?" Cameron suggested to Dakota. With the Maggots, most of the team was arguing, until Chris blew an air horn.
"Times up! You have an hour to build your structure now, so get to it!" Chris shouted, as he set a clock for that amount of time.
"My great-great-great-uncle Larry invented Air horns, yah, before him people wasted their breath shouting." Staci said, while Max looked at her angrily.
Confessional – Max
"Does that girl REALLY have to go around spewing useless information?! It's like she's trying to make me forget my evil plans, like the one where…" Max thought for a second, until growling.
End confessional
"Alright, that's enough!" Sky shouted, "we need to stop fighting or we won't get any progress done! We'll build a small house-like sctructure, so Jo, Lightning, Me, Topher and Sugar will build while the rest of you can get supplies." Sky finished. Most of the team seemed compliant, aside from Jo and Amy, but did it anyway. The group of collectors went into the forest to find supplies, while the builders began trying to use the remains of the cabin to build.
The camera then cut to the B, Beardo, Shawn and Zoey in the forest, looking for supplies.
"How would we cut these trees down? I don't see a saw or anything-" Shawn said, but stopped as he saw B pull out a saw from his hoodie.
"Where'd you get that? I don't think Chris would allow us to take in things like this to the competition." Zoey asked. B didn't say anything, as he opened his hoodie, showing many more tools. Beardo, Shawn and Zoey were awestruck as they looked at the amount of things he had.
"Wow… I'll keep quiet, this seems very useful." Zoey said. "Alright, let's cut these trees down."
The camera then showed Dakota, only a little farther down the trail, at the blimp.
"Maybe there's something comfortable in here?" Dakota said, as she looked around the blimp. It was pretty low-quality, with the seats only being stools and the metal pieces had decaying paint. Dakota looked in the pilot's cockpit, where a leather seat was. "Oooh, fancy!" She grabbed the seat, trying to pull it off, but to no avail. "I know! I'll show them, and they can do it for me!" Dakota said, as she ran out of the blimp, trying to find her team.
The camera then cut to Max, Amy, Samey and Jasmine walking around in the forest for supplies. Samey found the Arts and Crafts center from season one, which looked old and the paint was fading.
"Hey guys, look!" Samey called out. Amy was nearby, and just so happened to steal her idea.
"Everyone, I found something!" Amy called out, getting the attention. Samey sighed.
"What is it?" Jasmine asked, walking over.
"It's obvious, it's the entrance to Chris' evil lair, and I'll infiltrate it!" Max said, as he opened the door. He tried the light switch, but it didn't work. From what they could see, there were several arts and crafts supplies in it.
"Seriously?! Some lousy arts and crafts supplies?!" Amy shouted, not happy.
"Hey, it's better than nothing. Let's just take them and leave." Jasmine said, then grabbing some supplies.
Back with the Toxic Rats, they had began building a shelter. Cameron had designed a blueprint on the floor, and the team was following it. Scott was also reluctantly helping by cutting the wood they had. B, Beardo, Zoey and Shawn suddenly came back with a medium-sized tree cut down, shocking most of the team.
"How'd you get an entire tree cut down?!" Mike asked, shocked.
"Well, B had a saw in his hoodie, so we went with it." Zoey explained. B winked.
"Well, I think we could just build the shelter right now! Though, you… can go and find more supplies if you- want." Cameron said, not wanting to be too strict. Suddenly, Dakota came running back.
"I found something! I need someone to get it for me, though." Dakota said.
"I can help!" Sam exclaimed, waving his arm.
"...Fine, I'll come too." Scott said, pretty bored.
Confessional – Sam
"...Man. Maybe I shouldn't have been too eager, but I can't help it. Dakota's like, a Level 100 on the hotness scale! Hopefully I could try and make a move on her."
End confessional
"Let's go, then." Dakota said as she led Sam to the blimp.
Somewhere else in the forest, Staci, Dave, Leonard and Scarlett were walking. They came across a particularly overgrown section of the forest, with Deer and… wait deer?
"Interesting. The island still has the normal animals it had in Season One, but they don't seem to have changed in any way after two seasons." Scarlett thought, looking around. Dave came across a yellow barrel pile, with some form of green liquid coming out of a tipped over one.
"Um, what's this stuff?" Dave asked. The other three came over to inspect it.
"Looks like a spilled potion container." Leonard said, "Maybe it can still be drank!" Leonard said, reaching to drink- but Scarlett pulled him back.
"Don't. This is not any ordinary substance, and from the barrel, we can conclude it's toxic waste." Scarlett explained. Staci and Leonard looked at her strangely.
"Could just be colored clay, which was invented by my-" Staci was cut off my Dave, who put his hand on her mouth.
"Hang on, did you just say TOXIC WASTE?!" Dave shouted, grabbing his head.
"Precisely. Though, I don't know why Chris would purposely put these barrels here, and none anywhere else. Perhaps I could be mistaken… though I doubt that." Scarlett said, as she turned to leave. "Come along, there are no other noteworthy occurrences in here." Scarlett ordered Staci, Leonard and Dave followed her out of the grassy area.
Back at the Maggot's build site, they were trying, but the lack of materials was hard. Lightning tried stacking two pieces of debris, but it fell, much to his chagrin. Suddenly, Amy, Samey, Jasmine and Max came back, arms full of various arts and craft supplies.
"Are-Are you serious?! This isn't a craft project, this is a challenge!" Jo shouted.
"Well, we found nothing else. You're working with this whether you like it or not." Amy said, getting in Jo's face. They looked like they were going to fight, but they were distracted by Staci, Leonard, Scarlett and Dave coming back. Leonard had various stones in his arms, Scarlett had leaves and Staci and Dave had various pieces of straw.
"And this isn't any better." Jo said, not happy. Jo was going to say something, but was interrupted by Chris blowing an Air Horn.
"Thirty minutes left, campers! I'd say you start building, or who knows what kind of bears will get you in the night." Chris chuckled, making most people a bit nervous.
Out in the forest, Dakota, Sam and Scott were back at the blimp.
"So, what did you want to show us?" Sam asked Dakota.
"Well, I was tasked with finding something to sleep on, and I found-" Dakota explained, but was cut off by Scott who was eyeing the balloon part of the blimp.
"You want us to cut off the balloon and use it as a mattress?" Scott asked with a deadpan tone.
"...What? No, I found a comfy leather chair I could use as a mattress." Dakota answered.
"Uh, you kind of said that like only you could- use it so… I'm sorry Dakota, but I have to say Scott's idea is… better." Sam said, a bit nervous that would make her mad.
"Yep. Selfishness does not get you safety at the elimination ceremony." Scott added on.
"…" Dakota wanted to say something, but took into consideration what Scott said. She's here for a spin off series, and getting the boot early on would not get one of those. After a few seconds of silence, she said something.
"Fine. I'll get the chair later." Dakota said with a slight hint of anger in her tone.
Confessional – Scott
"Don't think I tried to help Dakota make an actually good choice. I'm just acting all nicey-nice to get one everybody's good side, but soon enough, they won't know what hit them," Scott sat in silence for one or two seconds, "...Ok fine, it was unexpected."
End confessional
Back at the Maggot's build site, Jasmine came up with an idea.
"Maybe we could use the stones as a foundation for a structure, and use the leaves and straw to make a roof…" Jasmine said, theorizing.
"Hey, it don't matter what we come up with! Lightning will build any structure with sha-ease!" Lightning said, flexing after.
"Was that really necessary?" Dave asked Lightning, slightly annoyed.
"Nevermind that! We should go with Jasmine's idea, so use whatever to help with the structure!" Sky ordered her team, looking at them. "...Wait, where's Max?" She wondered.
Out in the forest, Max was walking back to the Arts and Crafts center.
"Even if I was wrong about it being an evil lair entrance, that doesn't mean it isn't evil-worthy." Max came back to the center, and opened the door. "I shall use this as my planning area, and make plans to take over the game! But, I should install a light first." Max said, unaware something was watching him from the darkness of the room.
With the Rats, they had made good progress building a small shelter. They had walls up, and it was big enough to fit around 16 contestants snugly. Brick, Rodney, Zoey, Shawn, Ella, Dawn and Mike were moving wood into position while B was cutting more of the tree log. Anne Maria was spraying her hair, and Beardo was making construction sounds. Cameron was sitting down, after all he was the weakest member of the team.
"Where are Dakota, Sam and Scott? Shouldn't they be back by now?" Cameron wondered. His question was answered when the three came back carrying the deflated blimp balloon.
"So, we cut off that aircraft's balloon and brought it back! We thought we could use it as flooring." Sam explained.
"That's great!" Cameron exclaimed, "though, I hope you brought enough as we'd have to fold it over on itself to make it somewhat comfortable to lie on."
"I'd hope so! I need good amounts of sleep." Dakota said.
24 minutes later, Chris blew an air horn yet again.
"Time's up! Let's see what you built." Chris said, as Chef pulled away the banner that separated the two team's builds. For the Rats, they had actually made a somewhat stable structure. It looked like a house, with a floor made out of rubber and wood planks making some beds, with more rubber used as the mattress and blankets. To top it all off, there was a sign hammered on the front with the Toxic Rat's logo on it.
"Teamwork really made this structure all come together!" Brick exclaimed happily.
"You know you've done good when you leave ME impressed! But let's see if it can withstand a basic strength test." Chris said, pulling out a rock. He threw the rock at the house, barely making a dent.
"Secure walls, neatly cut wood… yeah, you guys get an eight out of ten." Chris said, with the Toxic Rats cheering, aside from Scott. "Now, as for the Maggot-" Chris said, but was stopped as he saw just what the Maggots had built.
They had made a form of wooden structure, alright. It was supported with long sticks with straw adding to the strength, with leaves covering the cracks. The floor was also made of leaves, but that's where the normal features end. On top of the structure was a small yet wide wizard's tower made of stones, with a straw roof, courtesy of Leonard. On the side of the structure were feathers and glitter glued onto the side. To top it all off, there was Team Chris is Really Really Really Really Hot's logo from Season 3 on the front, courtesy of Topher.
"...I don't even know what to say. Yes, it was a nice touch adding Team I'm Really Hot's logo onto it, but that's where my compliments end." Chris said
"Well, we would have done better if we HAD anything to work with!" Jo shouted.
"Whatever, time for a basic strength test." Chris said, pulling out yet another stone. He threw it at Leonard's small wizard tower, making it wobble, and collapse. The force of all the stones falling made the Maggot's structure give in, and break, caving in.
"...Well, you guys are up for elimination." Chris said, with the Maggots groaning, "Now, since I'm not heartless, I'll let you guys build another structure… with only wooden planks and paste." Chris said, pulling out a bucket of paste and a paintbrush, making the Maggots groan yet again.
Later on, at night time, the Maggots were all at the elimination area from Season One.
"Here's the deal. You go to the confessional and vote for one of your teammates to be eliminated. Whoever gets the most votes will leave first, and never come back. Ever. So, go and choose." Chris explained.
Confessional – Dave
"Did I HAVE to be placed on this team?! The only people on it are either crazy or evil." Dave looked at his possible candidates. "But, I guess I have to value trying over being useless all challenge." Dave said, as he marked one of the pictures.
Confessional – Leonard
"Maybe it was a mistake adding my own touch to the build. Hopefully my fellow competitors realize I was trying to help."
Confessional – Topher
"I'm so glad my Team Chris is Really Really Really Really Hot sign wasn't destroyed!" Topher said, as he pulled out the same sign, "The Chris fan club will go crazy once they get to see this thing in real life! Oh right, the vote."
Confessional – Jo
"So I got the team of useless people with only FOUR actually competent ones. Great. This will be one long season, I can tell."
End confessionals
Cut back to the campfire ceremony, Chris was now holding a tray of marshmallows.
"Of course, if you're safe, you will get a marshmallow. First one safe… Jasmine." Chris said, throwing a marshmallow to her. "Then Sky, and Dave." Chris said, throwing marshmallows to them. "Scarlett, Topher, Sugar, Samey and Lightning, you all get to enjoy a marshmallow of your own." Chris said, throwing a marshmallow to all mentioned. "Now, all of you left have one vote against you. Jo and Amy, you only got one vote, so you're safe." Chris said, throwing a marshmallow to them. "The bottom three: Max, Staci and Leonard. Max, you left your team during the challenge. Staci, you went on and on about your family's "history". And Leonard, your small touch was a big mistake in the end." Chris explained, "but even so, Max, you're safe." Chris said, tossing a marshmallow to him. "With two votes against them, the final one safe is…" Chris paused, as the camera zoomed in on Staci and Leonard. "...Leonard." Chris said, tossing the final marshmallow to Leonard.
"Aw, but I was doing so well!" Staci said, saddened by her loss.
"...Ok, I have to ask. WHY go on and on about your family's achievements in the first place? I mean, who DOES that?!" Dave asked.
"Well, I don't have many friends back home, so I figured I could impress you all by telling it! But I have to admit, a lot of it was made up… so I'm sorry if it annoyed you." Staci explained. "Well, I guess it's the Dock of Shame for me then." Staci said.
"Oh, we have something brand new this season." Chris said. "Come on, Maggots."
At the dock, there was an entire machine. There were stairs, leading up to a giant baseball on a metal pole, with a hole to fit someone in. A giant baseball bat was next to it, seemingly ready to strike.
"I present: The Strike of Shame!" Chris announced.
"Yes! I knew you'd present insane dangers soon enough! That's the Chris I know!" Topher exclaimed happily.
"Well, we actually had other elimination ideas other than this, like a catapult or cannon of shame. But, I decided to use the budget to build this bad boy. Well Staci, you're up." Chris said, with Staci climbing into the baseball.
"My Great-Great-Great-Great-Great-Great-Great Granddad invented Baseball." Staci said, with her team looking at her. "That's an actually true fact by the wa-" Staci explained, but was cut off by the baseball bat striking the ball, sending her flying away.
"Our first camper has gotten six strikes, and have been sent away. Who will be up to swing next? And what challenges can I make insane? Find out next time on Total. Drama. Revenge of the Island!" Chris said, with the camera zooming out, and the episode ended.
BONUS: STACI'S AFTERMATH
The baseball flew over strange looking rock formations, landing on a rock. Staci climbed out of the baseball, finding out she landed in Drumheller, Alberta.
"Oh, I remember seeing the episode of Total Drama World Tour where they went to this place! Though, doesn't this place have…" Staci stopped, as she heard hissing from behind her. She saw several rattlesnakes, all advancing towards her. She began running, while also screaming.
Well! Here you go. Originally, this was a two-parter, but that was dumb. Also, sorry if some characters barely did anything, high chance they will next episode. Also, I set a deadline to update this, and that did not help me work. I want to do this as a hobby, so the next episode will probably come a bit later, though most likely not after May. Finally, the exclusive clips will be longer, it just depends on the character. Ok, goodbye, and see you all next time!
