I own my OC's

His eyes opened suddenly, without warning he found himself face to face with a pair of silver eyes staring at him as she had been for awhile she kept a small smile on her face instead of her dress she wore a pink shirt with the same picture of a rose like her mother with colour matching shorts

"morning sleepy head," she said before she got off him while grabbing his hand her strength on par the strength of an ox, just like her mother pulling him around,

"You fell asleep yesterday so mom put you in your room and told me not to wake you, but we got you back and I couldn't wait so I snuck in" she said happily creating more questions than answers in his mind but before he could voice them they were in the kitchen, it was a standard kitchen with a stone oven instead of a conventional one in the part that faces the living room was the wooden table with stools under them taking a seat next to Summer he realised he didn't know when was the last time he ate or if he eats at all in the middle of his musings he saw Roisin walk in from the same hallway they came from her hair done in the same way as yesterday but she wore the same kind of shirt that ended at her midriff with a black jacket over it and red skirt with no stockings, the same shoes she was searching through a red purse and placing it on the table she didn't notice them until Summer spoke up

"morning mommy" her voice a ray of sunshine in the room as she stood on the chair Roisin looked up and gave them both a warm smile still looking through her bag

"morning my little Light and morning to you to my little Arrow," she said not realising what she just called Fletcher before she saw his raised eyebrows her cheeks turning as red as her namesake

"Oh I uh meant cause your name means arrowsmith, I think and uh I didn't mean that you know I-" she started stuttering over her words trying to save herself but Fletcher just raised his hand and just waved it off as she just pulled her hair behind her ear and tried to pretend nothing happened the blush remaining

"Uh yeah anyway I overslept and I have to open life's grove in a couple of minutes. Can you take Summer to breakfast and have breakfast at the sailors rest, I know it's a big favour but do you mind?" she asked looking at Fletcher her hand rummaging in her purse with Summer doing the same her eyes more pleading

"uh yeah I can do that no problem" he replied getting a smile from the mother-daughter duo

"great thanks Fletcher here's," she started searching through her purse until she pulled out some colourful cards made of plastic and handed it to Fletcher who eyed them curiously "-about one hundred lien I want you two to have a fun day out okay go nuts" she finished packing up her purse

"okay I have to go, be home by dark and watch Summer at the restaurant some shady characters go there sometimes," she said grabbing her bag she gave a quick peck Summers head making her giggle then unconsciously on Fletcher's head but she didn't notice him recoil as she started walking out the door

"love you both" she called closing the door behind her leaving the frozen Fletcher and giggling Summer

"she's bad at this game" Summer said gaining the attention from the teen

"game?" he questioned at which Summer furiously nodded her head with a smile

"yep she keeps forgetting we're playing the game when you come back," she said as of it's the most obvious thing in the world

"what's the game about and come back I've only been here once?" Fletcher didn't understand a thing Summer was saying and that was to be expected he didn't have experience when it came to dealing with children

"I can't tell you I want to win the highest record of three days this time," she said proudly creating more questions than before with no answers

"this time I-I don'-forget it just c'mon let's go to this bar place," he said pulling his hood over his head opening the door he realised that Summer wasn't in the room

"Summer where are you?!" he yelled pocketing the lien

"I'm getting dressed, wait for me!" she yelled back as Fletcher just leaned against the doorway with his arms crossed singing a little jingle popping inside his head

"demons know I row the boat down in deadly shores, and angels know I fly up high higher than ever before" repeating it a little more he turned his head and saw Summer walking up to him wearing another black dress with red accents the rose symbol on her chest with black stocking and the same red shoes with a brush in her hand

"Can you help me brush my hair?" she asked holding out the pink brush eagerly which he took hesitantly doubting his brushing skills following her into the living room he sat down letting her sit on his lap as he brushed softly

"so, what are you gonna eat when we get there?" Fletcher asked making small talk to keep his mind off how bizarre this family is

"cookies and strawberries" she replied happily clapping her hands

"you know I'm not just gonna let you eat cookies and strawberries for breakfast you need a full meal like toast or pancakes?" he attempted to sway her brushing the other side of her hair

"Can the pancakes have strawberry syrup?" she asked as he set the brush down lifting her off walking to the door with her behind him

"I don't know, you live here, not me" he answered letting her walk out first before locking and closing the door behind them the sailors rest not too far away from the house

"we don't come out much" she started raising her hand to his holding onto him, looking up at him if he noticed he didn't show it

"well I'll be sure to ask them Summer I'm pretty sure a cute girl of your statue should sway them enough to make them for you," he said the words already leaving his mouth before he could process it if her blush was anything to go by he knew he said it

"shut up" she buried her face in his leg embarrassed by his compliment as they reached the building Fletcher looked at Summer squeezing her hand

"Summer make sure you stay close to me, don't leave my sight, don't look at anyone, don't speak to anyone and if they speak or try to touch you tell me right away or scream" he said he watched her nod walked into the bar the lively music, laughing and the Cheers they heard from outside all stopped as the door closed behind them it felt like time froze everyone directed their attention to the teen, the music stopped the trading of hands as well they watched the white hooded figure walk to the bar holding the little girl by the hand, she was uncomfortable by all the looks everyone was giving them some angry some disgusted, all ready to kill

Sitting on the stool he lifted Summer on the one next to him the bar still silent as the bartender walked to them giving a look of pity to Summer before giving a hardened glance to Fletcher

"you want anything sir?" he asked the last part sounding forced with a hint of malice and venom but Fletcher either didn't care or react

"uhm Summer still want pancakes?" he asked thinking it over he watched as Summer nodded her head vigorously

"she'll take a stack of pancakes with strawberry syrup and a side of strawberries, with what I'm going to assume is a strawberry milkshake?" he said asking the last part looking at Summer who nodded again her mouth already watering

"yeah all that, oh and cookies if you have any" he answered finally which the bartender wrote it down and went to the back kitchen giving the chef the order

"what about you?" Fletcher looked at the little girl both of them forgetting that everyone kept their eyes on the two

"what about me?" he replied watching as she stood on the stool using the counter to keep herself steady as she stood over him crossing her arms below her pouting lips

"Mommy said we were going to have breakfast together not just me" she argued glaring as Fletcher just leaned back with his arms crossed and just looked back at her gaze

"and yet I'm not hungry a great rebuttal against your great conquest of trying to get me to a pancake if I say so myself," he said sarcastically his cold hard gaze staring into her burning silver ones

"but you haven't eaten since yesterday or maybe before that mommy said if you want to be big and strong you have to eat healthy things" she shot back his body unmoving

"and yet I just ordered you a stack of pancakes with strawberry syrup and cookies great example" she didn't seem to have a great comeback for that one so she used her last resort

"I'll tell mom" whatever effect of horror she thought would come over his face she didn't expect him to just snort in amusement

"you'll tell your mother that I not her son, isn't going to eat a stack of pancakes?" he questioned her sanity when she nodded triumphantly with a shit eating grin, staring into each other's eyes it turned into a battle of wills the next few seconds turned into Summers defeat under his cold unforgiving gaze until she used her ace card

"I'll scream"

"and I will eat whatever fucking piece of shit you pick out you scorching baby" he surrendered which she just stuck her tongue out at him before sitting down next to him in glee the both of them still not noticing the quiet room as everyone who looked at them gave each look of confusion before returning back to the cheering and laughter to cover up their bosses conversation

"I don't think it's him boss" one man sitting at the table said to the other much larger one whispering in his earpiece for all units to standby as the larger man looked at the two bickering over there being an existence of chocolate pancakes as he stroked his beard his adopted son behind him tearing into the pancakes with his blood daughter next to him eating at a more calm rate of her eggs and bacon criticising him with every mouth full

"Ghira you can't just inhale food when we're out on town I'd take you for more a pig faunus than a cat" the girl teased him chewing her bacon at a slower pace as their family had taught her when out of the house she stood at four ft seven a little short for her age with short hair and yellow irises and three gold piercings on her furry cat ears - two on her right, and one on her left with a black kind of shirt dress called a hakama and sandals with white tabi socks a white fang pin on her chest as she saw him scoffing the breakfast, the boy just looked at her with a smile before swallowing it whole

"well princess Kali I didn't realise how important it was to not eat in my entire lifetime I guess must've forgot with the whole best pancakes in the world!" he exclaimed whisper yelling he stood at four ft nine with the same colour eyes as Kali, he wore a dark Violet vest with a pair of fingerless gloves, and he wore beige pants and brown shoes In addition, he wore a white fang emblem pin attached to a few leather straps and shoulder pads his father made him for the new white fang cause so He and Kali could in his words shape the world for all Faunus everywhere

"I'm not a princess doofus" she retorted crossing her arms and raising her nose in a fake huff her eye slightly open watching his reaction as quietly screamed in fake horror before dropping to his knees

"my life is a lie my princess is actually a witch and her weakness is tickling" that started the brawl with Kali trying to push him away but he got her sensitive ribs making her try to keep in her laughs remembering there on a stealth mission

"Ghira, Kali enough you're here to observe and learn that's it now keep quiet and watch how Noah handles this" their father Kormac commanded he was a giant of a man standing at six ft nine his chest burly and bulked his eyes the same yellow but a shade darker than them both he wore a night blue jacket over a blue shirt and jeans his attempt to look casual and out of sight thrown out by the window by his giant form that could barely fit through the door on his way in, lifting the cup of coffee to his lips he drank deeply the children already straightening themselves up until Kali kicked Ghira in the leg which he retaliated and the fight started all over again

"kids I suggest you listen to your father or we're gonna have a shootout before I can get started, you both don't wanna cause any trouble do you?" he asked his voice with the slightest hint of a English accent drinking his tea in one hand and finishing off a biscuit in the other as they stopped

"no" they replied in unison which he just set the tea down and stood up he was an average height man at six ft he wore a deep blue dress shirt and khaki pants and brown rather shoes with a brown belt and holster holding a standard revolver for protection in case things go south rubbing his brown hair back as well as he's brown bunny ears, he checked the revolver and looked at the others

"let's hope the freak doesn't bite," he said before walking up to the man under the white hood and standing next to him calling the bartender

"and I say it's impossible, how could you make a pancake taste like chocolate but not strawberry?" Summer complained as Fletcher rubbed his temple from a headache the both of them have been going at it for ten minutes and he couldn't handle it anymore

"let's just agree to disagree with your argument, okay?" he demanded trying not to raise his voice as she just smirked thinking she won

"I knew you were lying" she said as the bartender walked up with two plates of food and a bag of cookies in his hand he handed the strawberry pancakes and the bag of cookies to Summer and the bacon, sausage, eggs and hash to Fletcher they both mumbled thank you and dug in, soon followed by Summers strawberry milkshake and Fletcher whispering a cup of coffee mixed with the strongest bottle they had which they obliged even if it was around nine in the morning, after a couple moments of silence Fletcher heard the entire room fall into silence again, and a hand nudge into his side looking at the owner of the hand with winter cold eyes he saw the brown-haired man with crystal blue eyes who sat next-door to him from earlier look forward but still close enough so he could hear

"nice kid she yours?" he asked his voice holding a tinge of a British accent drinking some of the tea he had in his hand

"no I'm just babysitting her" Fletcher responded unaware someone had grabbed Summer behind him taking her over to Azul's table when the man set yet down and took his hand off her face she tried to scream but he covered it again as the giant spoke

"we won't hurt you we just need you to calm down okay" he said at first she wasn't going to oblige until she saw the two children on either side of him and in her little five-year-old mind she somehow thought this is how she could make friends nodding she was unable to see Fletcher but knew he'd be close by when the hand left her mouth she didn't scream

"hi I'm Ghira belladonna and this my snotty sister Kali" a boy who looked he was eight or nine introduce himself while pointing at the only other female sitting at the table who just hit the top of his head with her fist

"what he meant was it's nice to meet you and this is our father Kormac," she said looking like she was the same age as Ghira the both of them sitting on either side of her with wide smiles as Kormac sat on the other end of the table

"I uh I'm uh Summer," she said fiddling with her skirt trying not to look the giant in the eyes her nervousness clear

"nice to meet your Summer, are you hurt?" Kormac said cutting straight to business leaning across the table trying not to alarm the girl who just looked up slightly in confusion

"am I hurt?" she repeated when he took her small hands into his large warm ones his yellow eyes a wonder to look at as they softened meeting her gaze

"Yes child, I know your mother she contacted me some weeks ago saying she needed help finding a boy and leave this place, when I tried to respond I got no reply and came here looking for you and your mother, that's when my men said they saw you with him coming here" he explained to her and the others who listened in to the conversation confusing her little five-year-old mind to no end

"it must've been hard, being taken away from your mom" Kali added rubbing the younger girls shoulder gaining her attention

"My mom's at work" she said noticing their slight frozen looks of confusion at her words

"but the man holding you here, who took you away from your mother isn't he working for a man named Azraq Arc?" Ghira added in his two cents when they and all the men and women standing around them sweat-dropped at her response

"who's Az-Iraq Arc, that's my brother, Fletcher"

crash*

"WHERE IS SHE!!?" Fletcher roared his scythe unleashed it was a long silver staff standing at seven feet tall, with a long tightly bound leather grip , the blade shaped like a shredded birds wing, with a smaller hooked blade at the bottom both glowing a grey mist

After he slammed the man named Noah's head through the roof, using the hooked blade he latched onto the man's foot and dragged him face first into the floor, Noah coughed blood as Fletcher kicked into the man's ribs lifting him into mid-air but before he could escape he wrapped the hook around his waist and spun him around sideway slamming him into the counter, not letting him gain his bearings Fletcher choked Noah against the bar, placing the scythe head around behind Noah's neck he pushed the faunas against the razor sharp blade

"Give me one damn reason why I shouldn't decapitate you right here right now" he threatened holding a cold fury

"I'm a good one," a deep male voice said followed by a series of clicks looking behind him he saw the large man he caught giving him looks with a handgun pointed right at him

"big man, big guns, takes initiative to fight before anyone else I'm guessing you're in charge" Fletcher deducted pushing the scythes blade against the man's neck getting a hiss from him as he tried to reach for his revolver

"that's correct, now this has all been one big misunderstanding," he said noticing Fletcher's cold look harden he lowered his shotgun small enough to fit one hand

"I. Don't. Care. About. Your. Misunderstanding, you bring her back here now or I'm going to kill everyone in this goddamn room slowly" he said watching as some of the men behind their leader turned their safeties off aiming for Fletcher's head But Kormac held his hand up to wait

"do you really believe you can take all of us?" he questioned hoping he wouldn't attack or that any of his men would either

"that depends do you believe in destiny, because I believe it's my destiny to wear your head on my belt" he replied letting the taller man process that a brawl might ensue and he would be on the receiving line if the smaller man was a huntsman and a brawl would have happened if they both didn't hear the pattering of feet coming towards them

Fletcher felt his body relax when he saw Summer running towards him holding a piece of paper in her hands followed by two older children who tried to stop her but stopped at his ice-cold eyes

"Fletcher look what I and my new friends drew," she said proudly showing him a picture of her and what looked like him with two kids holding hands smiles on their faces dropping everything immediately Fletcher fell to his knees and grasped Summer in a warm, tight hug unable to let go as he did

"oh my god Summer I'm never letting you fucking go anywhere without me after this," he said tightening his hold that nearly crushed her back and lungs if she didn't tap out so he eased and she wrapped her arms around him burying her face into the crook of his neck

"I love you too" she hummed holding for a few seconds until he awkwardly coughed and let go while picking up his scythe off the floor he lookied back at the man that he held hostage then at the group who kept their guns trained on him when he stood back up the staff shrunk into itself with the blades folding inwards

Hooking it to his belt under the coat, he saw that Summer began talking to the girl and the boy who came up to her, his eyes narrowed targeting the taller man

"I don't care for your reasoning just stay away from me and her unless it includes those two" he said pointing at the children who began making a secret handhskae with Summer making him raise his eyebrows in suspicion

"Summer doesn't have any friends her mother always worked from what I can tell and I can't stay here forever I assume you're staying for a while?" he asked his arms crossed both of they engaged in a silent stare off

"yes, I'm the chieftain from menagerie, we're here for a short while" he answered

"good, I'll know how to find you, Summer we're leaving" he called she just looked back and said goodbye to her friends as Fletcher threw a couple of the colourful cards onto the counter and grabbed the bag of cookies before taking Summers hand leaving the building, the crowd of white fang parting like the red sea as they left

"how was the girl?" Kormac asked his children who walked up watched them leave

"she was nice, a little shy" Kali said on Azul's left side with Ghira on his right with something in his hand

"yeah she made a picture of him and her holding hands seems happy" Ghira added eating a strip of bacon which Kali caught sight of

"hey is that mine?!" she accused when he swallowed it in her face

"circle of life sis, you get bacon, I eat bacon repeat get used to it" Kormac Face-palmed when Kali screamed in rage and tackled her brother to the ground, sending blows to his arm protected face as their father just sighed in annoyance

With Fletcher

"I liked them, they were nice" Summer said skipping on her feet while holding Fletcher's hand as they headed back to the house already full from breakfast

"I'm sure they were Summer" he replied barely listening to the conversation he just walked to the house with her until he felt her ramblings turn into squeezing his hand

"I knew you loved me," she said with a grin looking up at Fletcher who kept his gaze straight trying not to meet her eyes

"and why do you think that?" feeling her hand squeeze tighter he knew she must've had the biggest grin on her face

"you were like pow-ka-chow when you thought I left" she giggled crudely recounting how Fletcher threatened to kill everyone in the room

"well maybe I was just worried for your safety like anyone else, and love doesn't exist" he replied with an eye roll like it's common knowledge but she just gasped and punched him with her fist

"how could you say that, love does exist!" he could already tell the upcoming argument that's about to erupt a couple minutes of arguing whether it exists or not they came upon the door and Fletcher realized he didn't have a key

"well dammit we're going to have to visit your mother I don't have a key" he said but before he could react Summer reached into his front coat pocket and pulled out a shiny medieval looking key with the rose emblem on the face she grinned and handed it to Fletcher who could only stare at it in horror/confusion

"how did that get ther-no-no, you know what never mind I don't care" he just opened the door let Summer in first and locked it behind him before collapsing on the couch closing he's eyes

"hey Fletcher" peeking his eye he saw Summer standing in front of him rubbing her eyes sleepily slightly swaying like a drunkard

"can I sleep with you?" she asked causing him to look at the rest of the couch and the hallway

"you know you can literally sleep anywhere else right" he responded to which she just climbed onto the couch next to him

"but only one has my favourite big brother," she said her eyes drooping as she tried to stand

"I'm not your brother"

"Yes you are," she said her voice unwavering, then without warning she almost fell sideways if Fletcher didn't catch her in his arms

"Okay you know what" he lifted her by her ribs and set her on his chest her arms already around his neck and her light snoring already active, he held his hands in the air for a few moments but slowly let them rest on her back starting rubbing small circles as if by instinct

"Sweet dreams kid" he whispered before covering them both up with his cloak and dozing off himself
