Hii guys! I know this isn't my usual way to kick off a "first chapter" but I decided to give a little bit of background to the story. Here it is:
BACKGROUND
The story takes place at around the same time as my Pokemon X fanfic. The evil organization known as "Team Rocket" has swiftly been defeated by the current Champion of Kanto (unnamed at this point.) The events are MAINLY revolved around the anime, so if things aren't accurate according to the games, please keep that in mind. Also note that I know a kind-of-accurate plot to Pokemon Let's Go and Pokemon Red and Blue, but I haven't played them, so even if I wanted to make a game one, it would be almost a lost cause.
As mentioned in the summary, Glory, Tsunami, and Sunny (AKA my three favorite dragons :3) have become Trainers after falling through a mysterious hole. However, they know nothing about their past lives and only remember themselves as being raised like typical Trainers. I covered all three types of Pokemon Starter Types, so no one can get upset with me for not including a Grass, Water, or Fire-Type. I caught you all there. Tsunami begins in Kanto and chooses Squirtle, Sunny starts in Johto and picks Cyndaquil, and Glory journeys in Unova and favors Snivy. All three are unaware that they are all strangely connected through their former-life bonds, although they do meet up in Kanto and learn about their past lives.
In addition to the tree dragonet-turned-Trainers, new Gym Leaders have risen up in the Viridian City Gym, which was previously led by the ruler of Team Rocket, Giovanni. Everyone is skeptical of them, and the former evil team is especially hostile. Constant threats are given to the Gym, and though many assume it is just because of the take-over, something much more mysterious is behind the issue. Could it be somehow possible that the Gym Leaders are connected to them? It may seem unlikely, but upon contemplating it, everyone knows that the term traitor is commonly used to define some who betrays or leaves something. (For example, a warrior who lived in ShadowClan but chose to join ThunderClan after mating with a ThunderClan cat would be considered a traitor. Just a quick Warriors example there. :D) ANYWAYS, the Gym is under almost constant attack, meaning that it is practically impossible to challenge. Those that do manage to find an available time are quickly frightened away by mysterious clues, including strange noises coming from a secluded area. No Gym Leader(s) are ever present.
So, it's up to these three dragonet-Trainers to assist the Gym in its defense and to stop the former evil organization in their plan of destroying the Viridian Gym once and for all, along with completing their own Pokemon journeys! (Because some people do not take loss well.)
