The scooter ride into town usually took Alabaster less than ten minutes, but detouring from the main district part of town past the open fields. The side roads and streets glistened by the morning dew drops, Alabaster rode his scooter on the empty streets until he finally arrived at the complex of the Famous Pokemon Professor Oak. Many academic achievements and novels, and even awards which he gave his mom a pokemon on her own journey when she and my Uncle was a kid and they set off on their own journey to be Pokemon Masters.
Alabaster smiled as he parked the nimble scooter on the edge of the wall, hiking the metal kickstand before hopping off the scooter. Approaching the main side gate of the Pokemon Research building entrance. The fourteen-year-old trainer pushed the button on the intercom system on the structure next to the gate. Apprehensive at first Alabaster huddled into his button-up plaid shirt, as the chill of the early morning wind was cold and wet. He saw the gate was locked, and the gate system still not responding to his hails.
After a couple of impatient seconds and repeated button pushes, Alabaster was met with an irritated voice on a viewing screen speakers emitted, followed by connecting video screen attached to the complex as the visual feed opened. Emerging onto the viewing monitor was the famous pokemon Professor Oak himself. As the older man with white hair appeared on-screen demanding who would get him up this hour- before Professor Oak immediately smiled and began to speak. Immediately recognizing the trainers on the list to visit him today, "Early Bird catches the worm my boy...My dear Alabaster, your Aunt and Uncle finally are letting you go on a Pokemon Adventure?"
Alabaster smiled as he lied, hesitantly giving the best poker face before the Professor's demeanor seemed to pause and observe him before the Pokemon Professor typed some keys on the keypad sipping the warm drink, he guessed was coffee before an icon light on the panel opened and slightly aggravated buzzing noise emitted from the gate console. As Professor Oak exclaimed before cutting the video feed of the viewing screen, "see you inside my boy."
The Alabaster hesitantly touched the tall gate of the research grounds, before he stepped inside the enclosure. The tall walls on the cliffside facility were massive, to say the least for the tiny town of Pallet but they managed, as Alabaster hesitated worried about what his Aunt and Uncle would think. Would they even miss him- he hesitated at that sentiment as he strolled up the rural path. Observing the sun gently peek through the treetops as cheerful pokemon faces greeted him, he even saw a small weedle nibble foliage of leaves on a high-up tree.
The nervous boy could remember as a kid when the Pokemon Professor would visit the school for Pokemon Day, as the complex allowed Pokemon to be exhibited as the assistance of Oak would tell facts of the creatures. Before his mother passed away from sickness; she took him during the summer festival of Pallet to the grounds to explore the Pokemon, but after she died everything changed. However, as Alabaster trained his dark eyes on the surroundings he couldn't help but feel the enthusiasm as a kid he felt years ago. Cries of the pokemon sanctuary emitted the amazement this place was as he strolled up the footpath toward the entrance of the building, as he stepped into Oak's Laboratory.
