The Titans were in the Tower doing a thing of their own. Raven was meditating peacefully in her room and Starfire was bathing Silkie. Cyborg was tweaking his beloved T-Car, and Beastboy was reading his manga series upside down on his bed.
Robin was in the Common Room switching through the television channels. He passed World of Fungus, Full House, On My Block, Stranger Things, and Riverdale.
His finger came to a halt when he hit the news channel.
"The Coronavirus has taken an alarming spike in the last few days. As opposed to last week's twenty-nine cases in Jump City, now there are nearly five hundred cases." the reported established.
"Titans, report!" Robin called out.
"What's the problem?" Cyborg questioned as the others followed behind him.
Robin silently turned his head back to the screen, and everyone listened.
"The surge of patients entering the hospital are increasing rapidly. Schools have been shut down, businesses have been cut off, and entertainment industries around the world are suspended. Food supplies are being distributed around the city for those who need. Governor Stewart has made an announcement in today's conference that the city will need to be shut down and self-quarantine will be initiated. This will help stop the spread of the virus, and the numbers of patients admitted into the hospitals. Take precaution by washing your hands and wearing masks. We all ask if you please do your part, and stay home."
"Aw man, I never understand anything!" Beastboy's eyebrows furrowed.
"My thoughts exactly." Robin frowned.
"That's crazy! Bro, just last week we heard of the first case, now there is five hundred of 'em!?" Cyborg exclaimed.
"Isn't the term 'Corona' related to some American drink?" Starfire quizzed.
"Yes, Star, Corona Beer. Corona Beer is Mexican, and way different than what we're dealing with here." Robin answered.
"So this 'core-en-teen' is..."
"A form of isolation to protect people from disease spread." Raven responded, with her arms folded across her chest.
"Which means we can't go outside." Cyborg stated.
"WHAT!? DUDE! How are we going to get food?" Beastboy shrieked.
"Ahhhh!" Starfire started freaking out hysterically.
"I never thought the day would come where I could legally isolate myself." Raven droned nonchalantly.
"I won't be able to bring Silkie for walks!"
"So does this mean villains have to be in quarantine too?" Beastboy asked.
"Awww, I won't be able to ride my bay-bay." Cyborg whined.
"Easy, Titans, easy. Listen," Robin caught everyone's attention, "We're going to get through this. I don't know how long this quarantine will last, but we will get through it. Look, we have gone through so much already. We've fought through so many battles and just like this one, we will come out bigger and better. We can't feed into fear and have to handle this in the most strategic way possible."
"Dude, how am I going to get through an isolation with only two functioning brain cells?" Beastboy complained.
"I don't know, but we will... together. I think our best thing to do right now, is to do a deep cleaning of the Tower. This will eliminate any germs we could have brought in from the last few days."
"Alright, so we have a lot of wiping down to do." Cyborg agreed.
"We should probably do laundry too." Raven added.
"Sounds good. And we should make a store run as soon as possible." Robin established.
"This is some apocalyptic type stuff." Beastboy commented.
"No kidding." Cyborg sighed, and the Titans began to clean.
