"My soul is damaged?" Ash questioned.
"Geh. Yes. All the times you nearly died, part of your soul left. While the Legendaries could have put them together, they did not do so of fear of making you upset at them. By now, your soul would be impossible to repair by normal means."
The dragon wrapped its wings around Ash and a purple swirl surrounded them and Ash turned to see himself in a sea of stars overlooking a world with two moons; one of which was red in color.
"The reason you had trouble concentrating or recognizing affection was due to the damage of your soul. However, I can teach you the magic of this land and Heal your soul at the same time...DOV AH KIIN!" The entire realm shaked at the last word as golden energy flew out of the dragon and filled Ash with a strange warmth.
With Ash's mom.
Delia comes into Ash's room after the flash and she sees Pikachu searching frantically. Clue 1 that Ash was Taken: Ash NEVER leaves his starter. Clue 2: the door she came through was shut, as is the window. She panics as Clue 3 hits home: his clothes for tomorrow are still out.
She runs to the nearest phone and calls emergency services and frantically says "I'd like to file a missing persons report".
Meanwhile in Hoenn
We see May sitting in front of a mirror getting ready for the contest.
"Alright here I go." She said as she deep breaths..
She was about to go the stage when the News suddenly came on.
"We interrupt your regularly scheduled program with somebreaking news." The News Anchor said.
"Just earlier today officer Jenny got reports of Ash Ketchum's disappearance." The News Anchor said.
This shocks May.
"Ash is missing?" She questioned in shock.
She gets up and was about to leave.
"Where are you going?" A voice questioned.
She turns to see Drew.
"The contest is about to start." He said.
"Didn't you hear Ash is missing!" May said.
"Yeah, so?" He questioned.
"What do you mean so? We need to find him!" She said.
"Why do we need to look for him? The Contest is about to start." Drew said.
"Who cares about the Contest when Ash is missing!? Ash would look for us!?" May exclaimed.
"So? the Contest is more important." Drew said.
"Stay with me and I will lead you to be one of the top Contest performers" he added.
This shocks and angers May.
"What?" Drew questioned in confusion.
Suddenly May slaps him.
"Ash has done so much for me and you dare say that the Contest is more important!?" She screamed.
"Of course it's more important!" Drew he argued.
"IF IT WEREN'T FOR ASH, I WOULDN'T HAVE FOUND MY CALLNG AS A POKEMON CONTEST PERFORMER!" May yells back.
"Well he's not here anymore!" He said.
"I'm going to find him. Contests happen every year. People you care for come once in a lifetime." She said.
She gives him one more slap before rushing out of the Contest hall.
"If you were trying to get with her, you just blew it." A random Contest Competitor said.
Meanwhile in Sinnoh.
In another Contest Hall a girl named Dawn had heard about Ash's disappearance and is reacting the same way as May.
"Go find your friend...just promise me a rematch when you return to the Contest seasons." Her rival Zoey said.
"Thanks Zoey." Dawn said before rushing out of the Contest hall.
Back with Ash.
Akatosh told Ash to feel a power deep within him and imagine it burning in his hand (flames) (Ash demonstrates it), a soothing light that closes injuries (healing) (ash demonstrates) and one to call forth a small helper from another realm (ash calls forth the ghostly wolf). With the lessons done, he drops him into Skyrim.
Then there was a purple swirl around him and Ash found himself in between what looked like an army in blue and brown leathers and fur surrounded by another army with silver colored armor, brown and red armor.
Then something struck the back of his head and he blacked out.
