The moment Annabeth's feet touched the ground, she ran.
She ran like her life depended on it. Thalia stayed behind to help Zoë as she was still weak from having the poison drained out.
Annabeth ignored all the looks given by the citizens that lived on Olympus as her only thought was Percy. He risked everything to save her. What kind of friend would she be if she didn't be there to see him wake up?
The moment Annabeth bursted through the doors of the Throne Room, all eyes were on her. She looked around for the Sun God, Apollo. When she found him she asked loudly "Where is he!?"
Apollo winced slightly at the pissed off look on the Daughter of Athena's face. "Annabeth." Athena reprimanded her to which she ignored as she asked once more "Where is Percy!?"
Apollo cleared his throat and shifted in his throne "He's in my infirmary. He'll be alright. Just needs rest." Annabeth released a sigh of relief she didn't realize she was holding.
"Hey! Can I actually get some help here!?" Thalia shouted while keeping Zoë up by her arm around the Daughter of Zeus' shoulder.
Apollo stepped out from his throne and shrunk down to normal human heights before walking to Thalia and took Zoë from her. He placed the back of his hand on her forehead to assess her damages.
"Well good news, Sis. Your huntress will live, though her insides is burned a bit from what looks like poison. She'll need to stay up at my infirmary for a little while." Apollo reported to his twin sister, Artemis who sighed in relief before nodding "Do what you can, brother."
Apollo held Zoë bridal style before leaving the Throne Room.
Zeus cleared his throat "Ahem. Now that we have sorted that all out, let us continue."
"Atlas is back under the Sky. The general of his army will be of no help to the Titan Lord." Artemis spoke. "Thanks to these heroes. I will see them rewarded for their efforts."
Poseidon nodded "They have indeed fought bravely. If what you say about young Percy is true, then they deserve our gratitude."
"As usual, you're missing a very important point, Barnacle Beard." Athena said with an even voice with a slight hint of venom. "The fact that your spawn held up the sky and... Somehow summoned the Minotaur to aid my sister means one thing. He is becoming even more dangerous than we realized."
"How is that even possible? These monsters have no souls." Hera questioned Athena to which Poseidon answered "Perhaps it's because of their heritage? You recall the origin of the Minotaur. The Queen Pasiphae gave birth to it, from the bull I sent to Minos for sacrifice."
"So you're saying the boy has a bond to that monster because of you?" Zeus asked in a warning tone however Poseidon brushed it off.
"Perhaps and perhaps not. The one thing is clear, this power is something outside of our mythos."
Athena placed a finger to her lips as she was thinking "He is right about that, I will give him that. This is something none of our children or any hero has ever had. In the end, only the Spawn of Poseidon knows about this."
"His name is Percy, Mother. He and everyone else on the quest risked their life to save mine and Artemis' life." Annabeth said as she glared at Athena whom tightened her grip on her armrest.
"I thank you for your words, Chase. But I must ask that you calm yourself." Poseidon spoke calmly to Annabeth who looked at him before taking several deep breaths. Thalia placed her hand on her shoulder and rubbed ot gently to give her some extra calming feels.
Hestia, the Goddess of the Hearth stood up and walked towards Annabeth and Thalia "Why don't you two come with me and sit by the Hearth with me?" Annabeth was silent but nodded so she and Thalia sat down next to Hestia.
The first thing Percy saw was a blinding yellow light, making him close his eyes once more. He put his arm hand up to his face to block out the light as he opened his eyes once more.
His vision cleared up to see he was in a yellow hospital room. He looked around before noticing the curtains around him. He sat up and winced as he cracked his back and stretched out his body. He swung his legs onto the edge of the bed when the curtain opened up to reveal Apollo.
He was surprised to see Percy up "Oh Percy! You're up."
Percy rolled his head around in a circle to crack it. "Yeah..."
"Well this makes it easier to get you. The council has some questions for you." Apollo said before Percy sighed and jumped down.
"Oh and uh... Nice hair." Apollo said to which Percy ran his hand through his hair before pulling it to his eye level to see the snowy white color. Percy shouted "Wait what? What happened to my hair!?"
Apollo shrugged "I don't know. Maybe you can answer that."
Percy shook his head "I don't know how this happened!"
"Well maybe we'll find out once we get back."
The two of them began to walk before Percy gasped "Zoë! Is she ok!?"
Apollo turned around and put his hands up as a 'Calm down' gesture. "She's alright, buddy. She just needs to rest. Which also brings me to my question. "How did you manage to drain the poison out?"
Percy blushed in embarrassment before answering "I don't know. I used water and put it on her wound. I guess I willed it to get out of her body."
Apollo was surprised but also impressed. "That means you're able to control a lot of liquids. Not just water. You've got a lot of potential, bro. Keep it up and you might give us the edge we need to win this."
Percy looked up at him in surprise before nodding.
Apollo nodded "Come on, they're waiting for us." The two left the infirmary and made their way to the Throne Room, passing by the people that bowed in respect to Apollo and Percy. Hearing his adventure against Atlas and saving Artemis.
Apollo opened the doors and all eyes were on the Son of Poseidon.
Annabeth and Thalia turned their heads to see him before Annabeth and Thalia rushed him and wrapped their arms around him. Percy struggled against them before he hugged them back at the growing rage and dismay of their devine parents.
Zeus cleared his throat to get their attention. The three pulled back and everyone got a good look at Percy. They all silently questioned his snowy white hair.
That's when Zeus boomed out "Perseus Jackson! Now that we are here, care to explain to us how you were capable of summoning the Minotaur?"
Perseus pursed his lips and scratched behind his ear "That's the thing... I don't know how. I mean... I felt that burning feeling before he just appeared."
Athena's demeanor changed from cold to hungry for knowledge. She had a notebook in hand and a pen in the other with glasses pressed up to her eyes. "A burning feeling you say? Is this the first time you felt this?"
Percy shook his head "No. I felt this when I first killed a Kindly One."
Everyone looked at each other in confusion before Hermes asked "Uhh... What do you mean by a Kindly One?"
Percy looked sheepish while Annabeth resisted the urge to snicker. "It's the nickname we give for the Furies."
Hades couldn't help but chuckle. "Can't say that's not a funny name for my torturers."
"Wait, Percy." He looked at Annabeth and her face of confusion. "Why haven't you told anyone about this?"
Percy blushed in embarrassment "I... Kind of thought every demigod felt that as well."
Annabeth and Thalia sighed and rolled their eyes while the Daughter of Athena face palmed and muttered "Seaweed Brain..."
"Let's get back on track. So you felt this burning feeling when you killed a... Kindly One?" Athena asked.
Percy nodded so his father leaned back into his throne "So this has nothing to do with relations. This is something completely different."
"Indeed. Is this the first time you've summoned the Minotaur?" Hephaestus asked while leaning forward.
"Yeah. All I could think was... Helplessness. I saw everyone fighting and I was just there holding the sky. I felt it before when the Minotaur took my mom. I didn't want anything like that to happen again. Next thing I know, I just feel something leave my body and boom! The Minotaur is there and charges Atlas."
It was silent with the exception of the pen scratching onto the paper. "Fascinating... Apollo, you looked him over. Did you find anything that could possibly answer the boy's power?"
Apollo's brows furrowed before answering "I... Did find something. It was strange but there's... Something inside young Percy's soul."
Percy swore he could feel his heart drop from the revelation.
"What do you mean something inside his soul?" Poseidon asked in slight worry. Apollo scratched the back of his head and specified "It looked like a bunch of tiny specks floating around his soul. I'm now assuming it's the souls of the monsters Percy has slain."
"So I have the power to summon monsters I've killed?" Percy asked Apollo to which Athena hummed "Very fascinating. No hero in our history has had a power like this before."
"And that's what makes him a threat to our rule!" Zeus shouted as he held his Master Bolt to which Poseidon summoned his Trident. "Touch him and I overthrow you!"
Zeus snarled at his older brother "You dare stand against me!?"
"I'd be of glad tidings to overthrow you for my son. Like the Daughter of Athena said, he risked his life with the rest of them to save your daughter!"
Artemis stood up and sneered at Zeus "I will not see him punished for something beyond his control or understanding! If this is Olympian Justice, I will have no part of this!"
Apollo stood up as well in anger "He saved my sister so if you want to get to him, you gotta go through us!"
"I say the punk dies for humiliating me!" Ares snarled while holding a bowie knife in hand.
The council began to crumble as they argued amongst themselves. Hestia wrapped her arms around Annabeth and Thalia in case things got too ugly. Percy himself backed up against the doors. He hated being the reason they were arguing instead of actually working towards solutions.
Before anymore arguing could commence, a yellow bolt of lightning slammed down in the middle of the throne room, silencing everyone before the bolt disappeared. What was left were three women. One a young girl, around 12 years old, dressed in a blue cloak. The second woman was a full grown adult, around the late 30's to early 40's, dressed in a green cloak. The final woman was an elderly woman dressed in a brown cloak.
Everyone paled as they recognized who it was that appeared before them. "L-lady Fates!" Zeus stuttered.
Never before had Percy seen Zeus, the King of the Gods, the most paranoid person, tremble in fear at the presence of these three women.
They spoke in unison "You are all acting like children. You argue the life of one demigod over the fate of our very way of life. Your paranoia has consumed you, Zeus."
He swallowed a lump in his throat and looked in any direction other than them. The Fates turned to stare directly at Percy who gulped in nervousness.
"You... Have defied Fate, boy." They said in unison once more before Old Fate spoke.
"You have denied Zoë Nightshade her fate at the hands of her father."
Young Fate hissed "Your very birth has caused Fate to unwind. This power you possess does not belong to you."
"What do you mean, Lady Fates?" Poseidon questioned nervously to which the Adult Fate answered "The power he holds belonged to a being of pure Chaos. He was Chaos incarnate. He was a god in a monster's body."
"What is this person you speak of?" Athena questioned in a trembling way to which the Fates hissed "He is Dragon's Son! The Messiah of Darkness! The King of all Vampires!"
The Fates spoke in unison as they stared directly at Percy "Perseus Jackson... You hold the power of a monster more foul and evil than any monster that has been birthed in this world! You... Are... The Reincarnation of..."
Dracula
AN: Well holy hot damn! I had no idea this would blow up as fast as I thought it would. How does that happen!? How do you guys find these! It's incredible!
Now moving onto the meat of this story. Ok I'm sure some of you will probably shut this off because of the inclusion of Dracula but hear me out. Or read me out. In the Castlevania series, Dracula actually had the power to obtain souls and use them to his advantage. It's best seen in the two games Aria of Sorrow and Dawn of Sorrow. I've had this idea floating around so I decided to write it out and see where it would go.
I hope you guys are still up for reading this even after this revelation.
