chapter 2
Orbiting Neptune the two destroyers that were chasing the Glatic fugitive, were refueling using the accumulated gasses in the atmosphere of Neptune. The two ships only suffered miner damage and are low on fuel from the battle earlier.
The captain of the left destroyer and over all comander of the task force, turned to the navigator.
"navigator as soon as we are done refueling. I want you to track the jump signature of the fugitive john."
"Aye sir right away. But with the amount of damage we have done with his ship I doubt he made it anywhere sir."
the Captain looked thoughtfully then shook his head.
"No we were tasked to ether bring him in or kill him. he toke technology from the glatic cancel and bombed their station. he must be brought in for justice!" he shouted slamming his hand on the arm of the captins chair.
"we must make sure that fucking basted pays for his crimes no matter what!"
navigator looked weirdly at the Captain then said " don't worry sir we will find them!"
giving the man a small smile he said " your right we will get him!!!"
John and his new companion were Inside the ship witch John had named it the Slice Of Death, they were packing Supplys for there journey to magnolia.
Eden would appear and say to John. "Sir the camouflage systems on the ship are repaired. The ship now looks like a rock on the outside."
"how could this metal box look like a rock?" Dante interrupted John as he was going to speak
Eden smirking she answered "This ship has what you would probably call camouflage magic."
Dante appeared thoughtful and then shruged his own question off.
Rolling his eyes at the other twos interactions he made his way to the cargobay were his hover craft was bolted down to the deck.
the craft was nothing special it has 4 seats, 2 in the front and 2 in the back. It has a medium cargo storage. Finally it has 2 main guns in the front and auto guns in the back.
Freeing it from its restraints, he then open the cargobay door. By the time the door fully opened, Eden and Dante walked in, holding bags of food and other supplies.
"how are we going to carry all this stuff to magnolia?" Dante asked, holding out the bags.
"Were taking a hover craft. It's fast so you'll give the directions and I'll drive us there."
Dante looked at the now freed vehicle and felt him self getting sick.
Any type of vehicle makes Dragon Slayers sick to there stomachs. he wasn't looking forward to it at all.
Reluctantly He jumped in the back and waited for them to depart. his face turning green at the mere thought of the thing moving.
John couldn't help but smirk at the sight of the primitive getting car sick. John then went over any remaining things they needed and grabbed them.
Turning to Eden he asked her. "get the hover craft ready for flight I'm going to the armory real quick to get Armour and weapons. We don't know what's out there. So it's best to be prepared."
walking towards the armory and ignoring Edens sarcastic stare. he walked Intel he got to a door, that was 6 feet of solid steel.
Entering the pass code and his biometrics the door slid open revealing a room full of weaponry and gadgets.
Going to the back of the room. He then touched a panel on the wall and with a whooshing sound it slid open. In side was powered armor with a energy broad sword, also with a plasma rifle and a high powered tri blaster. The armor was black with red neon streaks along the arms, legs, and torso.
Touching a pressure plate on the chest piece, the armour opened up and revealing the inside. John got inside and the armour closed around him.
Booting up the armour he attached the weapons and headed to the cargo bay were Dante and Eden were waiting.
Dante was so board when John arrived waring weird looking Armour.
John got into the drivers seat and said "Are we ready?"
Eden just rolled her eyes but Dante just looked down at the floor boards. Not wanting to be aboard.
John started up the reactor and took off towards the peaks of Mount hokabe, and then past it to Magnolia. John didn't say but he was extremely excited to join fairytale.
On mount hokabe a girl in a clock and a boy with a scarf, are traveling up the mountain. the boy with the scarf had a blue cat on his shoulder.
"So how are we suppose to find Macao he could be any where 'she said with a frown on her face" the clock said repeating all she said.
"Lucy why don't you come out of the clock thing it's not that cold honestly." said the pink haired boy"
"Ya Lucy you might get fat staying in there." the cat said snickering
"SHUT IT CAT!!!! 'she shouted" said the clock
" Lucy you shouldn't shout at Happy like that"
"Shut it Natsu I didn't ask your opinion.' she said with 'vinium in her voice" the clock said
Natsu was about to say something back when a huge explosion happened infeont of them. As it turns out it was a monkey looking thing that dropped from further up the mountain.
"what the heck is that!! 'she shouted with worry in her voice" said the clock
"It's a Volcan!" happy retorted
Suddenly the Volcan appeared out of no were in front of Lucy. It's hot breath hiting the glass infront of Lucy's face
"Women me want women." said the monkey
Grabbing the clock the Volcan ran up the mountain, smoke tailing behind him.
Natsu and Happy ran after them trying to catch up.
Driving through the mountains. John looked in the rear view mirror and saw that Dantes car sickness earlier was gon in fact he seem completely fine.
"I thought you had motion sickness why are you completely fine?" John asked with a puzzled look on his face.
Dante peered at the rear view mirror were he saw John's eyes and said. "Honestly I don't know in the sky I feal free and unrestricted. I kinda feel at home up here.
Eden just scoffed and said sarcastically "Maybe your to primitive and stupid to be motion sick in the sky."
Dantes face got really red and he was about to yell at Eden when they saw a sudden explosion and white mist flying every were.
John could swear he saw a pink haired boy fighting what looked like a big ape.
"Um Dante are you seeing what I'm seeing or I'm just delusional?"
Befor he could speak. Eden interrupted "you are delusional sir. Infact one could say your absolutely insane."
John slapped his forehead and asked himself "why did I steal this sarcastic, rude, and mean A.I."
He killed the Galtic Council and stole Eden and other technology he has aboard his ship. He is wanted by the Glatic Empire and there allies the Galtic Federation. he's been on the run for 2 years now and was finally cornered by a battle task force. There was a fleet of 25 ships, but he managed to shake all but 2.
Dante spoke up and said "No your not delusional. I see them clear as day. A pink haired kid is fighting a magical creature called a Volcan."
"what kind of creature?" asked john
"Volcan is a spirit type monster. It takes control of a person and turns them in to big monkeys. That Valcan down there is probably an unfortunate wizard." Dante explained.
"I want to get to fairytale but lets rescue these brats" john said. Taking the altitude stick, je pushed down on it. The hovercraft went into a nose dive as it dove towards the battle.
Landing down, he then jumped out, powering up his armour and sliding on his helmet. The hud let up and the auto targeting system came online.
Targeting the Valcan, he pulled his tri plaster out if its holster and switched it to sonic pulse. Using the target cursor on his hud. He blasted the monkey in the chest and sent it flying, into a near bye boulder. It laid indented in the boulder unconscious. Its body flashed in a blinding light has it turne into a blue haired person.
Looking down at the unconscious form. His eyes nearly buldge out if his sockets as he realized that there's a person there instead of and evil monkey.
Running up to the prone figure and pushing John aside. The pink hair nelt next to the blue hair and shouted "Macao are you all right why were you a monkey?"
Lucy bent down so he could hear her and asked "how many were there did you get overwhelmed?"
Macao opened his eyes and weakly said "There was eighteen monsters one slipped bast my defenses and toke possession of me. But thanks to your friends there n
Natsu I'm free."
Then at the point Natsu, Lucy, and Happy all look at John and his companions that just joined him.
After 5 minutes of silence. Natsu broke free from his shock and asked in a loud voice. "who the heck are you?"
giving him a wicked smile john stated "Oh so now you noticed me. I only just came and vanquished that monster for you."
Natsu was stuned at John accent. it was all most like he was saying words in a deferent language, but he was hearing his language.
What Natsu didn't know was that john had a translator recording and saying each person's language.
"Well I'm John and the two behind me are my companions. To the Left is Dante Nightstar, and to the right is E.D.E.N. She is what you would call a person made from magic. So what's your name there kid."
"OH high I'm Natsu Dragneel and I'm a member of fairytale." he said proudly sticking his hand out for john to shake.
John spoke his hand and said " Hay we are aculy headed to magnolia to join fairytale. If you want we can give you a lift."
"A lift? you mean as in a vehicle?" he asked
afraid of the answer
"yes but it's Flys through the sky." he said pointing towards the sid hovercraft.
Natsu lo I ked at it paling but looked resigned. he nodded and got in with lucy and Happy, getting in the back storage container.
The rest of the gang got inside and john started up the vehicle. Taking off towards Magnolia John could see that Natsu like Dante seemed to be fine. He still didn't understand why those two seem like they would get sick in a moving vehicle.
Driving in silence for awhile. John decided to speak up. "So Natsu Dragneel w hat type of magic do you practice?"
"Dragon Slayers magic my type Is fire."
"Oh so you have the same type as me! cool esept my type of Slayer magic is forging."
Dante interrupted, pulling metal out of his pocket and then poping it in is mouth. His throat became red hot as heat it to molten metal. After the metal turned to liquid, he then spit the molten metal in to his hand. Clutching his fist magic circles appeared around him has the molten metal became a danger.
John was in awe, but looking ahead they were now over magnolia.
Natsu pointed at a building that looked like a castle from ancient Earth. and in the front it had a fairy icon on the gate. landing infront of the gate, the gang hoped out of the car and stood infrony of the gate were alittke boy was waiting.
upon seeing his father. The boy ran forward jumping at the man in a hugging imbrace.
while hugging his son he tells him "Romeo now you tell your friends that your old man slayed 18 monsters. and they won't bully you any more.
Romeo grabbed his dad's hand and headed home but be for they left completely. Romeo turn around and shouted "Natsu thank you for bring my daddy back to me.!" Natsu and the others wave at them as they disappear out of sight.
Turning to face John, Natsu said "wanna join fairytale?"
"yes very much so"
he nods understanding John's excitement
"Then let's go!!!"
Arthur's notes: I feel like I should end it here but I did manage to put the fairytale characters in this time. but don't worry there's more to come. will the captain and the navigator show up? or will they give up and return were they comefrom?. find out on the next episode
