WELCOME TO ASGARD
The time had come to depart for Asgard, and Tony was annoying everyone with his excitement. Thor had told everyone that Odin had been alerted to the fact he was bringing the other five, and that Odin agreed, though he was not happy.
Natasha looked worriedly at the Bifrost sight. "Are you sure this thing is safe for mortals?" She asked nervously.
"Certainly! I once took the Lady Jane to Asgard, and she was perfectly fine." Thor said, but then his face turned worried. "Though...That was at a time when the Aether was protecting her. Never mind! I am sure it will be fine."
This did nothing to put Natasha at ease.
The six gathered inside the circle of runes.
"Get ready." Thor said. "You may want to brace yourselves. It is a great experience, but slightly jarring on your first time."
Thor raised his hammer to the sky, and the Avengers were surrounded by a blinding light. Natasha felt a sharp jerk upwards, and then she was flying.
It was amazing.
The whole galaxy stretched around her as she raced through a beautiful tunnel of rainbow light.
Then the light stopped, and she found herself facing a man holding a sword in some kind of stand, in the center of the circular room. He only held her attention for a few seconds, before it switched to the thing behind him.
She gasped, and heard her friends behind her do the same.
There wasn't a word to describe it.
Beautiful didn't cut it.
It was like a dream. A long rainbow bridge stretching to a golden palace, like in the fairy tales her parents read her before they were killed.
"Welcome to Asgard."
