Chapter Two Entering the Supernatural Realm

Allen stared up at the dark castle said to be the Black Order High for Beings of Supernatural. He had followed the students and Reever up the cliff, having no idea on how to get back home. His only option was finding a higher up and tell them the truth. Allen sighed, Easy said than done. When the monster students reached the grounds of the school, they have shifted into their supposed human forms. Thus, confirming that they are supernatural.

"What am I gonna do…", Allen groans into his right hand.

"What you mean?", says a female voice.

Allen turns around to see the sweet but probably monster Asian girl once more. Allen forced a smile, Maybe I can tell her? Maybe she can help…

"Oh! I'm sorry, I'm such a spaz I forgot to tell you my name earlier!", the Asian girl laughs sweetly.

"Ah, no, it's fine really", Allen says unsurely.

"The names Lenalee Lee, I'm a sophomore here", Lenalee said smiling.

"O-Oh, I-I'm Allen, Allen Walker", Allen said weakly.

"You alright? You look kinda pale, well, paler", Lenalee amended.

Allen looks at her unsurely, with some hesitations and caution, Allen began his mornings tale.

"I see…", Lenalee says quietly watching as Allen breathes in relief.

A finger rose and rested on Lenalee's chin, as violet eyes gaze upward in thought.

"Well, what Johnny says is true. You wouldn't be here if you weren't human to begin with", Lenalee hummed out.

Allen jumped in disbelief, "Huh!?"

"Well, that cove is pretty secluded and all the centuries, no human has crossed into its bounds. Even if you had discovered it by accident, no human can enter through the barrier", Lenalee explained.

"But I'm human!", Allen fiercely whispered.

"You must be a half-breed then", Lenalee says.

"HUH!?"

Lenalee leans in close to Allen, Allen confused and wary leans a bit away but stopped when he heard then saw Lenalee sniffing his person. Lenalee then looked confused herself as she settled back from Allen.

"You don't smell like a half-breed, nor human either", Lenalee says even more confused as she stares up at Allen.

Allen blinked. A tick appeared.

"What…"

Suddenly Lenalee exclaimed, "Oh! My brother! Maybe he can help!"

Lenalee suddenly then reached out and grapped Allen's left hand and began pulling him through the mass of students. Allen tries to pull his hand away, fearing his gloves will rip off in the girl's unnaturally strong grip. Was, however, unsuccessful. When they reached a struggling Reever and Johnny, Lenalee called out to them without pausing for their obstructions.

"Reever, I'm going to brother's office!"

Lenalee continues to pull Allen up and into the castle and past down the halls and turns, confusing Allen thoroughly. Finally, they've reached a heavy set of wooden double door. Lenalee, finally, then let's go of Allen's hand to push open the door and stormed in, once again pulling an unwilling Allen along.

Once in, the door closed shut with a bang, but the sleeping personal at the desk is undisturbed, sleeping the morning away. Lenalee let's go of Allen's hand again to march up the desk to nudge the personal awake, with no success. Huffing, Lenalee brought out a clipboard seemingly from nowhere and then proceeded to hit the corner of it on the persons' head. With instant reaction, the personal was up and glomping Lenalee, rubbing his face into her hair.

Lenalee sighed and tapped her foot.

"Oh! Lenalee! You're here! I've had the most wonderous drea-", the person stopped when he heard the tapping, "Oh… have I done something wrong?"

Lenalee pushes herself out of the person's embrace and stepped next to Allen.

"This is Allen Walker. He says he's human and yet he'd gotten through the barrier and into our realm", Lenalee explained.

The person flicked their glasses up their nose, the glasses reflecting.

"Interesting. And your sure he's not a half-breed?", the person asks in all seriousness.

Lenalee shook her head, "I checked his scent. Not half-breed, nor human."

The person then took a step in front of Allen, Allen trying to not curl in up himself into a ball and stood straight and looked into this strange man's eyes.

"Allen is it? My name is Komui Lee, I'm a supervisor here to this school. Have you lived your whole life in the human realm?"

Allen nodded, a bit scared to speak if his voice should fail.

"And who did you grew up with, hm?", Komui then asks.

"Um, my first adoptive father was Mana but he… well, I grew up with Marian Cross", Allen said.

"I see…", Komui then turns around looking for some documents when found, Komui opens it and began to read it.

"Hmm."

"What is it, brother?", Lenalee asks.

Komui looks up from the documents and smiled, "Ah, no worries, dear Lenalee! It says here in this paperwork Cross has sent last week states that today, Allen Walker here begins his schooling!"

"HUH!?", they both exclaimed.

"But-But, I'm human!", Allen proclaimed again.

Komui smiled reassuringly and sets a hand on Allen's shoulder.

"The fact is Allen, you are not. You being here proves this. And yet Cross fails to explain who or what you are, you are not enrolled into this school as of today."

Allen shrugged off the hand, still not quite used to personal touching on his person and glares up at Komui with suspicious eyes.

"And how did you know of Cross? You seemed to be pretty close to him…", Allen grumbled.

Komui smile becomes more dark and sinister, "It is because we are, well, we are teachers of this establishment."

And once again, Allen is founded dumbstruck.

Cross Marian… a teacher!? Which means… he isn't… human either?...
