Hello guys, so, here is chapter two... I just remembered a disclaimer is needed... will do that in a minute... first tho...

Announcement: I'm looking for a Beta reader, basically for grammar, spelling, basic stuffies... also to help when i hit a road block... you'd have to be familiar with both Twilight and Fairy Tail.

Disclaimer: I own nothing but the plot and in later chapters, my OC's. I just like to barrow the characters out of boredom... lol

on with the story!!!

Heading to the Black's house was an uneventful thing, locked in my own memories. At times, I'd be startled out of myself after seeing a flash of, something running alongside the road. The third time it happened, I realized I was only a few minutes out from the familiar little red house

Focussing in on the task at hand, I pull to a stop in the muddy driveway. Taking a deep breath to steady my nerves, I hop out of the truck and walk up to the weathered white door with chipping paint. Just before I knock, the door swings open to reveal a very angry native man.

No... he can't be older then 19. His physical appearance is that of a 25 year old man, but... his eyes, though filled with anger, are much younger.

"Why ar-" He started, but I cut him off.

"What are you?" Cocking my head to the side, I continue, "No normal 19 year old looks like a 25 year old. Not to mention, yourfoot placement and posture screams 'Warning' and is too... primal in nature to be human. Not to mention, your voice is the same one from my call earlier. Which means," I started mumbling at this point, "you're the one who knows about the Cullens."

The unnamed man's face went from angry, to confused, to suspicious, and settled on a carefully blank look. With a moment of thought, he silently stepped to the side and let me in.

"Wait here for a moment." He said in a gruff manner. I let my eyes wander around the inside of the small house, as he walked to the phone receiver hanging on the wall in the kitchen.

Nothing changed in the small house. Well, aside from the two hulking forms of what I recognized as Jacob and Embry on the tiny couch. They had changed so much, it actually took me a second to place what I was seeing as the two boys that were always tinkering on things in the garage.

Their faces both reflecting the same shock as each other. Based on where they were looking, the young man on the phone, I'd say this was not a normal reaction for him. Shrugging, I made my way to one of the chairs at the kitchen table and sat down.

After hanging the phone back in the holder, the young native came over and took the seat across from mine, and proceeded to attempt a dominance game. Attempt being the operative word. I logged this with the rest of the clues I'd gathered on what was happening here on the rez.

After a few minutes of neither one of us backing down, I move my conscious mind inward to go over the clues that I've gathered so far.

1. Extremely high core temperature. High enough for rain to evaporate instantaneously on contact with their skin. I noticed that when he answered the door and some rain came in.

2. Growth spurt. Before they started hanging out with Sam, Jake and Embry used to be under 6 feet. Now they are both at least 6'4". I think it's safe to guess the same can be said for the others in the group.

3. Strong emotional responses. One thing I've always heard about Sam and his gang was that any emotion they show is usually stronger or more intense then strictly required for any given situation.

4. Innate predatory warning. They trigger the same feeling that I got when a wyvern or some other intelligent predator is in the area.

5. This one at least, is trying to assert dominance on our first meeting. So there primal instincts are higher then a normal humans.

6. They definitely hold some sort of group connection... Almost like a pack of wolves... I can sense Jacob and Embry on the couch getting tense the longer this goes on.

A loud cracking brings me back to the forefront of my mind. It take me a moment to realize what it was. The young being in front of me is putting so much force on the small oak table, that cracks are starting to appear in the wood

I need to end this if I don't want to be responsible for buying Billy a new table. Leaning forward just a bit, to rest my elbows on the table top, I alow my energy to concentrate in my eyes and effect the air around us. Making my eyes glow gold and things around us start to vibrate while the air around me stirs up my hair. To finish my little display, I alow a predatory smirk to lift one side of my lips.

The young beings, I really gotta find out his name, eyes go wide and he freezes for a total of 5 seconds, before he launches out of his chair to the opposite side of the couch pulling Jacob and Embry down with him. Obscuring them from view with the couch.

Seeing that this is the end of the dominance game, I let my power go and return to normal. Looking at the table I frown slightly. I may have frightened the kid, but no one won dominance during the match. If it hadn't been for the other two being here, he'd have gone for my throat rather then protecting them.

Sighing heavily, I simply waited. The call he placed was likely to either Sam or Billy. If not both...

Luckily, I wasn't waiting very long before the front door was thrown open, and an older native man was striding in. In my peripheral I noticed the three that were hiding behind the couch peek over the top, all looking thoroughly freaked out.

"Took you long enough!" The one that opened the door groused. Giving me a wide breadth, he walked over to the older one, grabbed his arm and dragged him out the back door.

Raising an eyebrow, I chuckled lightly. Crazy kid can't even tell when an actual threat is in the area. I turned my head to look over at Jacob, who was now sitting turned sideways on the couch. His expression wasn't freaked out so much as curious.

"What's on your mind Jake? Spit it out." One thing that hasn't changed from my previous lifetime and this one was I absolutely hate being stared at. Being an heiress in my last life made it to where being stared at was almost constant before I ran from my father's estate. I didn't like it then, and I hate it even more so now.

"You're human." It was a statement as much as a question.

"I mean, technically." I answer honestly, if not a bit evasive-ly.

"What the heck is that supposed to mean Bells?" He said hautly to which I simply shrugged. He growled lightly.

At that moment though, the two natives that had been outside came back into the house. The older of the two, taking the seat across from me this time, while the other went and stood beside the front door. Trying to keep me in? Or making sure you have a way out? I slide my eyes back to the one seated across from me.

"Bella Swan. My name's Sam Uley. Paul tells me that you seem to think that we know something about the Cullens. He also tells me that you seem to think there is something... more than human, going on here. I feel obligated to ask, if you are in need of professional medical help." The man, that I now knew as Sam, said this all with the utmost sincerity and concern. He even managed to pull off the concerned look pretty well.

"Playing the mentally-unstable-card huh? Figures." I smile lightly, and let out a slight huff of air. Pausing, I go over my list of clues, adding growling to it. An errant thought filters through again about them acting similarly to a pack of wolves. Don't they have legends about them being descendants of wolves? An idea starts to form as I go over all the lore I rememberfrom the summer bon fires I used to come to when I was younger. Hmmm... maybe.

"I wonder what Taha Aki would say, if he were to hear you call someone mentally unstable, just for asking about the protectors of the tribe. If there's one thing I remember well, is that, while he was never one to flaunt his abilities, he never lied about them either." I said, leaning back in my chair.

All of them stiffened as they heard what I was saying. A look passed between the four not seated at the table before all eyes settled on Sam. I suppose he's the Alpha then. Sam takes a deep breath through his nose. Whatever he finds with that breath makes him furrow his eyebrows.

"Alright, since you're being so... candid, about knowing of the supernatural, let's cut to the chase. How about a Quid Pro Quo? A question for a question." He states with confidence.

"Sounds reasonable, on two conditions." He raises an eyebrow in question. "All answers must be completely honest, and despite weather we like the answer or not, we must stay level headed."

"Agreeable. You may start, if you'd like." He says, with an incline of his head.

"Are you actually the newest pack of the tribe?" I ask, unflinchingly.

His shock is obvious. "Yes. You didn't know that already?"

"I had a hunch. But I needed to make sure." I say dismissively. "When did this pack start?"

"About two years ago. When did you find out about the supernatural?" He fires back.

"About one week before I started dating that idiot Cullen. And before you ask, I figured it out, he didn't tell me. Do you know if there are other things out there besides vampires and shifters?"

"Not as far as we can tell, but that doesn't mean there's not. If you knew what Cullen was, why did you still decide to date him?"

At this I hesitated, but remembering the agreed upon terms, went ahead and answered. "He was a connection to the magic of this world. If the legends are accurate, then Jacob should be Alpha right now. And yet, you are acting as Alpha. Why?"

"I was the first to phase, and Jake has refused to take over as Alpha since he phased. You said "this world". Almost as if, you're not from this world..." Hesitantly, he shakes his head, but continues, "Are you an... extraterrestrial?"

Chuckling lightly I respond. "No. You are correct in thinking that I'm not originally from here. But I assure you, I'm not an alien, or anything of the sort. You said this pack started around two years ago. From what I gathered from rumors at school, that's around the same time that the Cullens returned to this area. Is your first shift triggered by vampires being in the area?"

"Yes, however, it has to be a prolonged exposure for the gene to be triggered. If you're not from here originally, are you human or...," His eyes narrow slightly, "something else?"

"Well, genetically speaking, yes. Seeing as how it was just my soul that transferred into this body when it was born. You said 'gene', does that mean your change is genetic?" I ask with a tilt of my head.

He nods his head before answering. "Yes, it is a gene that can remain dormant for generations." Pausing, he considers his next question for a moment. "You said your soul was transferred here. Was it on purpose?"

"Oh, no. At least, I don't think so anyway." Tilting my head to the side, I consider that for a moment. There were some strange conditions that day. Not to mention the moment before it struck me I lost track of when I was in my surroundings. It was almost like I was a rookie without any training... Hmm.

A throat clearing brings me back to the present moment. Blinking a few times I ask a question that's a bit off track. "Does your tribe, by chance, have any legends on soul transference?"

"Umm, maybe? But even if we did, I wouldn't know, that'd have to come from the Elders. Specifically Old Quil. One thing I do know is that there can't be two souls in the same body. So, did you kick someone out of that body to claim it?"

I freeze for a second, as my mind tries to comprehendwhat he said, before reeling back. "Wait, what?! 'Kick someone out.?!' What the hell do you think I am? A body snatcher?!" Dispite the tension of the situation, Embry, Jacob, and Paul let out startled laughs. "No." I said with a sigh. "I didn't steal the body. According to the records of my birth, the baby actually flat lined and was dead for about a minute before my soul arrived. And don't apologize, it was a valid concern and one I had myself after regaining my memories." Pausing, I sit back in my chair.

"This will be my last two questions. You can continue to ask whatever questions you have, I just don't have any questions that may actually matter. First, how many of you are there? and second; is there any chance, I could get some help looking into this? I'd be willing to work for the help, or even trade info for info. I've just long since realized that I can't get any farther on my own."

Sam thinks about this for a minute. "There are currently five of us. And as for your request, I'd have to talk to the elders first before I can answer that. Your response to my last question means you've been here since basically birth. Yet, you don't think that you were sent here on purpose. You also said you had to regain your memory, meaning you didn't always remember where you're from. If those are correct, how did you get here in the first place? And what happened to make you lose your memoriesin the first place?"

"Well, to be quite frank, I'm not entirely sure. You are correct, I didn't remember where I was from originally. Infact, I didn't even know I was from a different realm until I was 8. It started the one time I spent the summer here with Charlie. The first memory that was triggered was the very last one from that life. It was the day I was killed in that life. As time went on, I regained more and more. It wasn't until I was 13 that I actually realized that there were memories and not just something I made up. Long story short, I died in that realm and ended up reborn here. But even then, I'm not sure how that happened, seeing as how, even with the way my old world was, there was never any record of something like this happening." I finished with a shrug.

"Hmm... So then this is the second life you've lived. Paul did tell me of something you did after he called me. What exactly was that? Is it something from your original life?" He asked with an openly curious expressions.

Nodding my head, I answer in the affirmative. "Yes, it's one of the very few things I can do here, but that's because it's the only magical energy that I have left. It's not dangerous by itself, mainly used to scare things off. Most of the time, I don't let it become visible. I use it sometimes to cause people around me to want to avoid me. Set off warning bells in their heads and such. I can also use it to boost my physical strength, speed, and physical durability for a short time too."

Silence consumed the room for a bit while they absorbed the information so far. It was only broken with a question that could only be classified as morbid curiosity.

"How old were you when you died?" This actually came from Embry. Which, I'm not gonna lie, was a bit surprising.

"Hmm... around 18 maybe 19... I'm not quite sure to be honest. Although, if you count the 7 years that I ended up frozen in time I would have been 25 or 26." I replied logically and with complete seriousness. After all, while some may think the question morbid, I've always liked knowledge. Both acquiring and sharing it. Especially knowledge that comes from questions most shy away from. That type of knowledge always holds a different energy to it and usually reaps the best rewards.

At my response, his eyes lit up a bit with boundless curiosity. "Really? Thats basically the same age as you are now. How'd it happen?" He asked eagerly, to which Jacob slapped him up side the head.

"Dude! You can't just ask people things like that. What if she's got trauma from it or something?" Jacob reprimands Embry with a shake of his head, while Embry is rubbing the side of his head from the slap.

Looking at me sheepishly, he quickly apologizes. "Sorry, Bella. You don't have to answer that if you don't wanna." I didn't pay much attention to that comment, as I was concentrating some of my energy into my hand and wrist increasing it's strength and durability.

Once suitably enhanced , I smack Jacob upside the back of the head with enough force to make him fall off the couch.

"Don't you dare get onto him for asking a perfectly reasonable question. It wasn't off topic, and to be quite frank, if I had an issue with the question I'm quite capable of declining to answer all on my lonesome. Not to mention, you should never get onto someone for being curious. I mean, it's not everyday you get to meet someone from a different realm. Let alone, someone who's died in a different realm to gst to yours..." I trail off as a thought occurred to me in the form of two words: Edolos and Lissana. Shaking myself from that off shoot, I turn to Embry.

"As for you, there's nothing to apologize for. As I said, it wasn't off topic and it actually is a good question. I died on a job." With that, I launched into the tale of my last week as Lucy Heartfilia. I answered any questions that were posed, such as guilds, magic, and the basics of what led me here.

By the time the conversation was over it had been over and hour and a half. Sam asked if he could explain everything discussed today to the elder so he could plead my case for help. I was standing at the door, but agreed to let him relaybthe information.

"Also, before I go, I have actually heard of something like this happening. Although, it was a bit different. A girl who was in the guild before I got there, her name was Lissana. She died one day while on a job with her sister and brother. At least, that's what evedyone thought. A few months after I joined the guild, the guild hall and everyone inside got sucked into a portal to a type of mirror realm, everyone from my realm was there, but they had a different history. Kind of like identical twins. Everyone looked the same, but they weren't. Anyway, after the situation with that was taken care of, Lissana ended up coming back home. The difference between her and me, is that her whole body went there, and she didn't actually die in the process. But that's the closest thing I come across." Glancing at the clock above the TV, I see it's 4:27pm. "I gotta get going, so I can make Charlie some diner. I swear, that mad would survive on fish fry and beer if I let him."

"Thanks for the information Bella. I'll have one of the boys follow you on paws to make sure you get home safely." Sam said while walking out with me.

"Thanks Sam, but it's okay. I doubt anything will happen." I say while opening the door to my truck. "Besides, I have a few stops to make before going home." I hop into the drivers seat, close the door, and roll down the window.

Sam scowls slightly but nods his head in acceptance. "Drive safe Bella. After all, you may have come back last time you died, but you don't know if it'll happen again."

He takes a step back from my truck as I reverse out of the Blacks driveway. Shifting into gear once on the road, I make my way back to forks. For some reason I can't het his parting words out of my head.

Unfortunately, I didn't have much time to ponder why. I was about 10 miles from Forks when I was violently jarred from thoughts, by a flash of red coming at me on my right side at extremely high speeds. I didn't even have time to consciously comprehend what happened before my truck was hit so hard it curled around the point of impact and sent me and the truck careening through the air.

I must have blacked out for a few minutes, because when I opened my eyes, I was laying on the shoulder of the road. My ears were ringing, my sight blurry. Dispite the ringing, I could hear the screaching of metal as whatever hit me ripped it's way out of what remained of my truck.

I tried to sit up, but the simple movement sent red hot pain shooting through my abdomen. My eyes were starting to clear up, but when I looked down to try and see what caused the pain, I still had to blink a few times.

Gear shift.

Part of my gear shift for the truck was currently protruding from my lower right torso. There was already a pool of blood under and around me. Somewhere in the back of my mind, the reason for the accident flitted in and out of focus.

If I'm going out now, I'm not gonna take it laying down. With that thought, I shimmied back to the tree just behind me. Pushing into a somewhat upright position, I start panting and almost pass out from the white hot pain that blinds me from moving.

My head hits the tree with a tired thump. I blink my eyes to clear them and when they open again all I see is red. Fiery red-orange hair, bright red eyes from a fresh feed. A feed that's so fresh that the blood on her lips is still wet.

"Victoria." I croak out. Her lips turn up into a cruel smirk.

"Hello Bella, dear. Were you expecting me?" She asks in a sweet voice.

"N-no. But, I'm n-not surprised." I try to get it out clearly, but it sounds more like a garbled wheeze.

"Mmm." She hums in thought and crouches down in front of me. Her eyes flicker to the gear shift still in my side. "Do you know why I'm here?"

I try to answer but can't get enough air to speak. It doesn't matter anyway as she puts her finger to my lips to stop me.

"Shhh, don't speak. Wouldn't want you to die before I'm ready for you to after all. I'm here to kill you. See, if it weren't for you, my James would still be alive." She nods her head and talks as if to a child.

"You may not have killed him personally, but because of you, and the challenged you posed, he decided to play with a coven of 7. It cost him his life. And now, the last person I cared about in this god forsaken place is gone. The one thing that mattered more to me then my own life, is ashes in the wind." She growls out the last part.

"Do you know how that feels? To lose the person who is your heart? How it feels to have your heart ripped out?" I couldn't answer her, as it was taking all of my strength just to stay conscious. But I did know how that felt. Maybe not feom this life. But I still knew.

"No? Didn't think so. But, you know what? I'm gonna show you." Her hand wraps around the end of the gear shift. In a slow and deliberate motion, she pulls it from my body. My mind and sight go white with the sheer amount of pain coursing through my body. When my senses return, I see her run her tongue over the part of the gear shift covered with my blood, while her eyes are locked on mine.

"Mmm... Delicious. You taste better then you smell. Too bad it'll be going to waste. But, I suppose that was my own fault. I gotta admit, You're definitely you're daddy's daughter. You taste like a sweeter version of him." Her expression up till that point had been almost pleasant. With that last sentence though, her face contorted into something colder the the Arctic and darker then death itself.

Due to the blood loss I'd already suffered, it took me a minute to figure out what she was saying. Then, it hit me like ten ton brick. Charlie. It must have been writen on my face when I figured it out, because she gave out a cruel laugh and smirked.

"Oh, poor little Bella. Don't worry, you'll be joining him soon enough. I hope this hurts you as much as loosing James hurt me." She said as her face dropped into desolation, dispare, and unadulterated anguish. I knew that look well from my past life. I saw it in the mirror for almost two years.

With a deliberate slowness, she dragged the end of the gear shift across my skin, traveling up and between my breasts, across my collar bone and down to right above my heart. Looking straight into my eyes, she started to push it into my chest, between my ribs, to pierce my heart.

Looking back at her, with the last of my strength, I smiled at her. A sad, lonely smile, that said everything I physically couldnt. With my last breath I told her something that was long oved due.

"I'm sorry."

And then there was darkness and peace.

General POV

The moment the life of Bella Swan ended, the entire Earth shook at it's very foundations. Time for those unaware of Bella Swan and the supernatural surrounding them froze. While those who knew of her and were part of the supernatural community were confronted with, what many thought, was the end of the world.

Portals, swirling and angry, appeared in several locations around the globe. One over part of Northern California, 6 souls were consumed. One above a lonely patch of land in Montana, 4 souls were consumed. One above a sunny town in Southern Italy, 9 souls were consumed. Another above a spot far off the coast of Scotland, 1 soul was consumed. The last portal opened above the spot of Bella Swans death and reached all the way to the southern edge of the Quilute Reservation, 8 souls were consumed.

Those that were consumed were wiped from thw memories of those remaining. History rewriting itself to keep the balance. The 28 souls that were claimed by the portals, were erased from the very fabric of that world. Never were, and never to be again.

AN: Okay guys, what do you think? I'm sorry that this took so long. I lost what I was originally gonna do in the firat part of the chapter, so if it feels a bit forced, that's why.

Also, a few details have been changed on the first chapter to make them match... like I originally had her memories come back at four... but what four year old can ride a bike without trainers??? *face palms* to be fair, I did make the original first chapter at like 2am... so *shrug*

anyways, as always, read and review? pretty please? i love feed back!
