A/N: Here we are with my second chapter for Endings & New Beginnings. We have the Louds settling to changes, and the Regulars having their last days on the farm. Now, I'm going to keep the focus on the Louds here. As you all know, Lincoln has to deal with animalistic related details, concerning the Smilodon DNA he has in him. It'd be hard to live like a human and an animal at the same time. One wrong move with him can lead to disaster.
Note: I do not own The Loud House.
The sun rose up in the morning. Another day for Royal Woods had come. Another day had come for the Louds. And another day would come for filming and interviewing. Several of the girls were in line for the bathroom. Every day, there was a line to the bathroom. Just one bathroom. Why did there have to be one bathroom? It was certainly inconvenient for the parents for years. It was definitely inconvenient for anyone who had to use the bathroom really, really, badly. One by one, the girls took their turns using the bathroom until they went out and dressed up. During all of this time, Lynn Sr. took his time in making breakfast for everyone. He served it, called his family over to the dining room, and they took their seats. But everyone quickly noticed that Lincoln's seat was empty. Lola was quickly the first one to volunteer to bring Lincoln over, even though she wasn't as close to her brother as Lana was, before they met Martin Thomson in the far future (2027, give or take). She walked upstairs to the hallway, she took a brief moment on the way up to stop and take a look. In the lineup of the photos of the loud children, Lincoln's photo was absent. This saddened her. She was told that Lincoln put his Ace Savvy related possessions in a box, and moved into the attic. And she was told yesterday, by Lucy, that hours after they were cleansed from magic, that the latter saw Lincoln taking off his photo from the wall. It shouldn't be difficult to conclude that he put it in the box as well. She continued to walk upwards and made her way towards Lincoln's door. She stopped right in front of it. She stared at the doorknob in a little bit of fear for the moment. She quickly turned it, and half slowly opened the door. She could see her brother still in bed, still asleep, still covered, breathing. She felt nervous. She didn't know if she should or shouldn't act. Just as she was in consideration of waking him up, the family cat, Cliff ran past her, as she reached out for him trying to dissuade him. The cat ran and jumped onto the bed. He looked at Lincoln. He meowed, and put his paw on his cheek. Lincoln quickly woke up, got up, and roared. As much as his ears hurt from the noise, Cliff was fast enough to get off, dashed for the door, a frightened Lola with shrunk eyes let him go through, and quickly shut the door, 2 seconds just before the white haired boy ran towards her on his hands and feet! She stood against the door, and she could feel herself being pushed back, as Lincoln pushed against the door, four times, trying to break out! She breathed tensely for 1 second, and could hear Lincoln roar like a big cat, loudly. She breathed tensely. She could've gotten torn to pieces. She was already now thinking of memories of her threatening, disrespecting, and being violent to Lincoln. Oh, how the tables have turned. She changed her feelings to sadness and remorse. What did her brother do to receive these chemicals in his blood? Beneath her, the rest of the Louds heard the noise. Feelings among them were mixed, it was either fear or worry. For Lisa, she thought to herself that she should write that down, on the list of Lincoln's animalistic behaviors: reacting like a big cat, when being woken up. But she had to ask how he was woken up. Meanwhile, Mr. Grouse could hear the roaring, as he was having breakfast. He already visualized himself being jumped and torn to pieces by Lincoln in his Smilodon form, the next time something belonging to the boy ended up in his yard and he'd take it and say "my yard, my property", and he became afraid. He whistled and tried to think about something else, something more positive. He personally saw his neighbor's house being transported back to its exact place. He listened amongst the crowd as the family spoke about their time in the Catscratch universe, including Lincoln getting his power. Back with Lola, she walked away from the door, and inhaled and exhaled 3 times, as she bent down and put her hands on her elbows. Soon, she heard the doorknob turn. She turned around and saw Lincoln coming out, in tan pajamas. His face looked half calm and half serious. They looked silently at each other for 2 minutes.
"I'm sorry for how I reacted, and how I acted." He said.
"Um, that's okay." Lola timidly responded. For Lincoln, this was a rare occasion in which he didn't wake up in the morning after having a nightmare. And with that, she went down to notify the family that he'll dress up, and he'll come down, while Lincoln stretched his back, with his hands against it. After changing his clothes, he went down and had breakfast with everyone else. After that, everyone split their ways to do their own things.
*Cut to Luan*
"You should've been here hours ago this morning. Lots of times, if we're feeling like using the bathroom at that time, we make a line for it. It's like that, lots of times."
"Is that true?" The interviewer asked.
"Oh, it's true. Good thing you don't live with us." The comedian joked a little bit. No response was made.
Rita was watching some videos on her phone. Humor-related videos. She watched 7 different kinds of these videos. Yet, she hardly laughed. She decided to leave the video app she was on, and lie down on the bed. She stared up at the ceiling. She was thinking about Caleb. Why did she not encourage her family, not even once, to get to know their cousins, the Regulars, on face time? Why didn't she think about it? Why didn't she consider it? She got up, felt her chest, and it felt sensitive. She looked at it. It was still swollen. She had to make that appointment, with or without her husband's help. She got up, went to the kitchen, grabbed a chocolate bar from the fridge, and ate it. Suddenly, she felt an urge building up inside her. She quickly ran up the stairs, ran into the bathroom, no one was in it, closed the door, and threw up in the toilet! The walls weren't thick enough at all to cover the noise. Some of the girls cringed from the noise. Now, Rita came out, breathing tiredly.
Lynn Sr. came over. "Honey, I heard you throw up. Are you all right?" His wife quickly put her hands on his shoulders and was crying loudly.
"I threw up after having a chocolate bar, Lynn! I am anything but all right! My chest is still swollen! Something's wrong with me!" Rita hugged her husband as she cried, her husband hugged her and stroked her back, even though her bad breath from vomiting repulsed him at first. "I wasn't even supposed to react like that. I had another mood swing." Rita said as she calmed down.
"Oh, there, there. Just calm down. I have enough time on my schedule. We can appoint a doctor today."
Rita sniffled. "Really? I have a free schedule too for today. Yours is really free?"
"Well, not free per se. It's only half free. I'm free for the second half of the day. But it's enough."
"Delightful." Snarked Rita. "I think I'll go look for a particular device, okay?"
"By yourself? Are you sure?
"I'm sure. I've been going through different symptoms, and I haven't found out what the cause is for too long."
"Well, try and stay out of trouble, sweetie."
"Thanks. I'll try. Let's go." She and her husband went out, notified Lori, Luna, and Luan about this, and left in their new van.
*Cut to Lisa*
Another thing among the discovery about Lincoln's shapeshifting that I didn't mention that was in the letter. It's not radioactive, and thankfully, it's not contagious. Thank goodness. If that serum Lincoln accidentally drank didn't merely give him shapeshifting, it probably would've given him another mere power at best, or without a doubt, killed him at worst."
The camera watched Lisa write down some sort of formula for the antidote on a piece of paper, There were empty beakers and test tubes behind her, and a small transparent, capped container of blood, next to her. It had a label that said "LL's blood." Lisa's voice spoke in the background. "This is a big task that I'm taking. I'm not allowed to do science experiments in the house anymore, especially with chemicals. I'm going to have to go the university to do my work there, as long as I have chances. Who knows exactly how long this could take? It could take weeks, months, or even more than 2 years. But I'm willing to go through this process. For me, for my brother, and to earn his forgiveness. I owe this to him. And he deserves to know I really am changing for the better. I used to experiment on my siblings before. Luan survived from having that glowing cookie. Leni also survived from one of my experiments. I'm sure, that in the long run, the antidote will be safe to use, however. In the meantime, I need to modify a cell phone so we can call our cat providers from their universe, Gordon, Waffle, and Mr. Blik. Annie and Pony Bramley from their universe too. Huh, I should also make a machine that can transport a group of people to different universes."
Lincoln Loud walked across the park, with his cello. He sat down on a bench, in front of the pond. He looked at it for 5 minutes, stood up, and played, and he had the stick meant to be used with it too. The musical tune he was playing was mellow, sad, calm, soothing. You would be entranced by it if you ever passed by. He played it so beautifully. It was beautiful indeed. He was surprised by how well he played it. Although, it was safe to say that this was a rare occasion. He looked up in the sky, and he could see 13 clouds in the sky. 12 clouds were shaped like eagles, but one was shaped like a turkey. He became saddened at the sight. He looked down. But then he became determined, but pretty soon he was becoming doubtful, and this came into conflict with his determination. He was mentally quarreling. He grasped onto his head and bared his teeth for 3 minutes. He shook his head and slapped himself. He breathed in and out, twice. He was feeling stressed from his mental quarreling. Once he was calm, he went to sit on the bench. He looked at the pond, and around himself. The birds chirped in the sky. Lincoln looked up and saw two ravens flying across. A turtle came out of the pond and rested on the mud. The boy felt like he was at peace. He turned to his left and saw man walking a black and white husky. They greeted each other and the man went on. He looked at his cello. If he was going to get better at playing an instrument, he needed to learn. He didn't really play the cello on a daily basis as Luna.
"Hey, Lincoln." Lincoln turned his head around when he heard a voice. He was surprised when he saw Chaz, Joey, and Becky coming over. He learned from Becky that they came here for some fresh air and to have fun, and to their surprise, they saw him here, with a cello. Both sides would begin to converse with each other, the trio learned that Lincoln was talented in playing a cello, and he played it in a family band at a county fair. The thing was, these four people didn't hang out with each other, a lot. They learned he was having trouble handling his big cat shapeshifting. Afterwards, they told him they were heading to this month's Ace Savvy convention in a few days. They asked him if he and Clyde wanted to join them. He denied. When asked why, Lincoln wouldn't specifically mention his time traveling adventure. All he could mention was the time he and Clyde were initially victims of copyright, suffered from the failed premiere of the movie they were in, and the time he failed to fight off the Hail of Doom clan in the other universe, and against the leader as a Smilodon, and as a result, with him failing in his life on those last two instances in his life, he ended his affiliation with Ace Savvy. The trio could remember the days after the last convention Lincoln was in very well. Even Lincoln did, as well as instances that the trio weren't involved in. After the premiere of the movie, they gave condolences to him and Clyde for all the trouble they went through. Bill Buck gave the boys condolences 2 days after, personally, in private, for them being verbally harassed at the premiere, and for initially having their characters stolen from them. 1 week, at the end of a school day, Principal Huggins called Lincoln and Clyde over to his office in private, and even he gave condolences to them, concerning their Ace Savvy-related misfortunes. These instances came off as surprises to the boys. Joey tried to ask Lincoln to reconsider his abdication of something he loved, but Lincoln respectfully refused, but told them to have fun at the convention when it comes. And with that, they bid each other farewell, and the trio went on their way. Lincoln spent some more time looking around himself, he decided to play that song he was playing on his cello again. It went on for a short while, when he stopped and thought about the Regulars. He tried to evaluate what he knew for a short while, but his mind would only draw a blank. He sighed in shame. He knew absolutely nothing about his relatives. He didn't know what they looked like. He only knew what Caleb and Amanda looked like, from an old picture he could remember that Rita showed him, of the two of them at their wedding (Rita and her husband took the time and money to go attend it). He looked down at the ground in sadness. Would he ever meet the Regulars?
"Lincoln." The boy turned his head around when he heard a familiar voice. To his surprise, and joy, it was Albert. Lincoln ran over to him and they hugged. He asked Lincoln what brought him here, and was told about his grandson feeling like he should be away from the house, with his cello too, and he played for a long time. He demonstrated what he played, and his grandpa was amazed by it. At this point, Lincoln asked if he ever did video calls with his relatives, the Regular family. Albert confirms it. The boy looks down in shame. When asked why did that, the boy confesses not once have he, or any of his ex-sisters once called their relatives in any way, or pitched in on a call. The war veteran didn't hide his momentary disappointment in his response, but consoled his grandson that he should start chatting with them, and get to know them. His grandson nodded. He revealed that 2 years ago, his son did indeed tell them that they didn't ever call or text each other, not even write to each other, he was disappointed in him and his sister, he wasn't subtle in his expression towards them for that. But it was momentary, he gave them encouragement to start doing exactly that, on the chances that they do get, when they're not being occupied with absolutely anything. He encouraged right now to start calling his uncle, when he gets the chance, and for his cousin's phone numbers too. Lincoln nods to this. Albert and Lincoln spend a while in the park, having fun playing tag, hide-and-seek, and they even have ice cream together. After all of this time, Albert leaves Lincoln to himself. Lincoln went back to sit on the bench he sat on. In 5 minutes, a 12 year old boy on a wheelchair comes over next to him. He was blonde, he had a green shirt with blue vertical stripes, black pants, and red and white sneakers. Lincoln raised his hand in greeting to him. The boy raised his hand back in a smile. Lincoln asked who his name was, but the boy couldn't respond. He smile dropped. Lincoln asked twice what his name was. The boy had a backpack on his lap, he took it out and he grabbed a notebook, and a pencil. He wrote down on it, while Lincoln watched. When he was done, he showed it to him. It said "My name is Samson Porter. I cannot speak, I am a mute person." Lincoln made an "o" shape in his mouth, verbally expressing his realization, as he nodded. Lincoln interacted with Samson for a while, as Samson would write back to him. Lincoln learned some things about him, like he was in a wheelchair basketball team made by some other kids at the basketball court, and he had a different school schedule than Lincoln, and he wished to become a boat salesman. Samson learned some things about Lincoln too. After their interaction, the two boys split their ways, and Lincoln headed home. But he was going to head somewhere else, soon after that.
Rita was driving back home. Apparently, all of the pharmacies she went to in town, had sold out all of their products of this particular device. She stopped at a traffic light, behind 5 vehicles. She thought about herself and Caleb. She flashed back to a time when she and Caleb were playing hide-and-seek with each other when they were kids. Then, she remembered a time when she, her dad, and Caleb were fishing out in a lake. Her next memory was her being caught in a rip current, and her brother risked his life in going out to save her, against his dad's warning, and he got grounded for his disobedience, but it didn't matter to him. Another one she had was her, Caleb, Amanda, and her future husband, Lynn, as teenagers, spending time together, at Albert's house, during Christmas Eve. Caleb was on good terms with Lynn, when it came to Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Halloween. Rita returned to reality. Just in time too, as the red light turned green. She regretted not ever visiting their relatives. She thought about her late mom. There was no doubt in her that she'd be disappointed in her for this repetitive mistake if she was still alive. What kind of sister was she? She sighed, in an upset tone. She made it back to the house. She got inside. She went inside her bedroom. She touched her chest again. It was still tender, and she could feel it for herself. Then she felt something unpleasant building up somewhere in her body. She cringed. She realized what this was. This happened too late. She quickly got out of her bedroom. The camera focused on her leaving her bedroom, running up the stairs, and the camera stopped when it turned to the left of the stairs, as she pushed a few of her daughters out of the way, apologizing right before she closed the bathroom door. The camera turned around the hallway, focusing on the girls that were here. Some looked concerned, three others were confused.
*Cut to Rita, in her bedroom.*
"*sniffle* I had a missed period. It came too late. And at the same time, I had another case of increased urination. None of the pharmacies had a particular something to help me-*yawn*-sorry. There were also instances of me getting a fatigue previously, before today."
"I see." The interviewer said.
"Just when I take it upon myself to change my ways as a mother, for my son's sake, I go through these, unexpected circumstances. Is this torture or what?!" She breathed in and out. "I'm sorry. That was another mood swing."
"Yes, I understand."
Lincoln came back home after so much walking that he did, grabbed an amount of money while inside his room, took his bicycle out of the garage, and rode out. He took a long time until he reached the shopping mall. He chained it and made his way inside. He went across the establishment, as he passed many people, he was turning his head left and right, as he looked for something. He passed many departments on the ground floor. He took a look at one of the maps for the mall, he kept on going and finally, he reached a pharmacy store. He took a look on the shelves, looking for something, he looked slowly across the shelves, from top to bottom, left to right. He went like this across the small section of aisles, until he found it. He brought over a stress watch to the cashier's desk, presented the money, and took his stress watch, as he left. He walked across the mall, silently, not one word was spoken. He caught a glance of the comic book store in it. He could see an Ace Savvy cardboard cutout in the window. He looked on, solemnly at it. The cardboard cutout of a superhero he once admired stood there, lifeless. The boy did not sport a smile. He was starting to gradually have old wounds reopened, as unpleasant memories slowly emerged. He shook his head, and ran off for 15 seconds. He continued walking, as he headed back to the entrance, went outside, got on his bike, put his stress watch package in his pocket and rode off.
*Cut to Luna*
"Do you have any plans for today?" Asked the interviewer.
"Not quite. As far as I know, I'll be playing, without my speakers, at a safe volume. You know, Mom and Dad had forbidden me from ever playing with my speakers in the house again. Um, but hours ago previously today, Dad called me on the phone, he said he discussed it with my mom, he said I can play some instruments, but only when absolutely everyone's awake, and not to any volume of loud, and I'm still not allowed to use the speakers. Changing the subject, who knows, maybe I could play a board game with one or more of my sisters."
"Mhm. Do you know about your relatives, the Regulars?"
"Yes, I do. Unfortunately, I did not call any of them at all." The rock star looked down in shame. "*sigh* We're bad cousins. In retrospect, we're not that much good as people as we thought, in terms of that. Then again, none of them called any of us. Only uncle Caleb called Mom at times. I was upset to learn years ago that he doesn't really respect Dad a lot. That's a shame. If you ask me, I think he gives Dad too much bad credit. I was told years ago, that he and my aunt Amanda live a Seventh-Day Adventist lifestyle, and they disapprove of non-straight relationships. Oh boy, at this point, they and their whole family probably disowned me at some past point."
"I wouldn't be too sure about that. And-you're not straight?"
"No. I happen to be bisexual. I have a girlfriend. Her name is Sam Sharp. Before we first me, I had a crush on her, but I wasn't sure if she'd love me back."
"Mhm. Got it."
"We are well respect amongst our band. We are well respected as musicians. Famous too."
"Mhm."
"We have a stable relationship. It's rather a happy one. We have fun with each other, especially when we're playing music."
"Uh, we must get back to the subject. We were focused on the Regulars."
"All right. I don't know a lot about them. If you ever ask any of my siblings if they know the Regulars or how much they know about them, it's safe to say none of my siblings know a lot about them. We didn't socialize with them for so many years. We don't know even know what their talents are."
"Well, there's no time like the present for that to start."
"Hmm. Yeah. You're right."
*Cut to Luan.*
"In terms of us eating, well, our meals are limited, because there's so many of us in our family, with so many kids, there's less money, and with less money, we don't get a wide variety of meals on a daily basis. One of the things that Dad makes for us, when we eat is a type of goulash. Another thing, he makes is his own lasagna, you should try it one of these days."
"Thanks anyway. I'll think about it."
"I used to have a puppet, I called him Mr. Coconuts. I was made to put him in the garage with many of our possessions, when Mom and Dad were making changes. You should've started interviewing us, before this month, I would've loved to spend some time doing comedy with Mr. Coconuts."
"Maybe we could do it out in public. Unless either one of us or both of us forget."
"Right, right. And, even though I told you a joke hours ago, I'm not allowed to say anymore jokes or puns in the house."
"Are you on good terms with your sister, Luna?"
"Mm, yes, we're on good terms with each other, my repetitive joke telling not withstanding. We're practically roommates."
"Are you two emotionally close to each other?"
"Mm, I wouldn't say close, per se. But, she was willing to let me be a part of the family band at the county fair. And she did pitch in to help me out when I was trying to hide a pimple when I was going on a date with Benny."
"You two should get to know each other more. You two should get to know a lot about each other."
"Thanks for that. I'll keep a mental note on that." She giggled after that. "Mental note."
Lincoln was practicing against the punching bag in the basement. He was wearing boxing gloves, and punching against the punching bag. He punched left and right, left and right, left and right, top to bottom. He struggled in breathing, as he punched hardly at the bag. He stopped for 5 seconds taking breaths. Then he went back to punching the bag hardly, for 20. He gave 10 punches at the middle of the bag, then an upper cut punch at the top of the bag. He rested his hands on his knees and breathed tiredly. Soon, Lisa came to his mind. He remembered before they were going to leave the catscratch universe that they were in previously, that she was going to work on an antidote to relieve him of his power that he got from that serum that he accidentally drank. Why didn't he realize that this was a huge example, that she indeed cares for him, (granted, she didn't say the obvious words, and he didn't pay attention to her to see how she felt, but still), why didn't he forgive her right then and there? Of course, he had to know something else. But not for now, he had working out to do. He got onto the weight bench, and lifted up some weights on a bar. However, he was struggling. But over 10 minutes, he was gradually raising the weight a little bit higher mostly every time.
*Cut to Lynn Sr. In the restaurant kitchen."
"So, do you have any idea on why your wife is acting so, unusual, so far?" Another male interviewer asked.
"No, not really. I didn't bother to look it up on the Internet. Also, I have to do work right now as it is."
"Has your restaurant helped increase your income in paying for the bills and things like that?"
"Mm, kind of. Rita's new job also kind of helped. But we still don't get a trash truck's load of money for those things. Especially in my case, I have to let the other workers get their wages. And we have to pay for acquiring food and ingredients here at the restaurant. My current job comes with those types of difficulty."
"I see."
"At least, with work, people can enjoy what food I can make to serve them. And my family can get some food for free here. Even if they'll still go to the place, Burpin' burger, you know."
Lincoln (he wasn't wearing his stress watch) and Lana were in the backyard. With Lana being educated on animal knowledge, she can be helpful with her older brother (even though he hates her and mostly everyone else, but he went to her by choice). Now when it comes to her dealing with big cats that were extinct, long before any civilization was built, back when zoos, cars, and schools didn't exist, this was new territory, in its own right. But she was going to help her brother however she could, regardless. She gave her sisters information in advance, to not look at the windows to the backyard, for anything-inappropriate. Right now she was teaching Lincoln on marking his territory, that's something big cats certainly do. The first thing she instructed him to do for marking his territory, was to urinate. The boy thought this was ridiculous, unnecessary, and quite embarrassing, he was outside. Thankfully, he was allowed to skip this option and mark his territory in another way, marking trees with his claws. Of course, he wasn't in his saber-toothed cat form, so there was rather no need for that. The next thing she was teaching him, was how to climb a tree. Even though he didn't have claws. She brought out four pillows in case he fell off. He went around to the back of the tree. He jumped up. He climbed for three feet, but he lost his grip and fell onto the pillows. She pointed at the tree, and he walked up to it again. He climbed up the tree, he made it a few more inches. She pointed at the tree again. This went on for a few more times, Lincoln trying to get higher, there were two times he couldn't make it beyond 2 feet and a half. He was going to learn this as he repeated this. Little by little. Then, Lana realized something. With a bigger cat then a leopard, a tiger in this case, it wouldn't be climbing trees, a lot. And Lincoln as a Smilodon was quite beyond a leopard's body mass, not especially agile as a leopard. She blushed as she turned away. Could a Smilodon even climb a tree? She wasn't an expert in paleontology, but there was nothing she ever heard about Smilodon being indicated to climb trees. She blushed as she turned away, but quickly turned to see Lincoln climb up to 3 feet and several inches, before he lost his grip and landed on the pillows. They sighed. What was she doing? She's supposed to be useful. And Lincoln could feel something unpleasant in his body. It wasn't a seizure, though. He got a little bit worried. Lincoln got up, and Lana put her finger and her thumb to her chin. Now, she had a spray bottle with her in case Lincoln behaved aggressively, like an animal. Lincoln was okay with this, embarrassing as it may be. Lana then whispered in the boy's ear. She ran into the house. Lincoln waited for 5 minutes, then got inside. He sniffed around the house, he sniffed around the kitchen, sniffed as he went across the dining room, he sniffed in the living room, he sniffed different smells when he went to the top of the stairs. Then he went down, into the basement, he sniffed something familiar. He followed the smell, and went across the basement, until he stopped in front of a cardboard box. He lifted it up and found Lana. She smiled and gave him a thumb's up. He only gave a weak smile for two seconds. The two kids heard a meow. Cliff was at the top of the stairs, he came running down, and he rubbed his head against Lincoln's legs, purring calmly. The boy smiled, kneeled down, and petted the cat's head. He could feel that thing inside him again. He ignored it for now. The three of the, went back up, but Cliff accidentally knocked over some stacked materials, making them clatter onto the floor, and Lincoln shortly roared as he covered his ears. New symptom of his power, he had more sensitive hearing. Then he realized something, Lana knew how to handle animals, but in terms of adult wild animals, she hadn't actually ever, ever handled big cats before. She knew how to handle domestic cats, but not ever species like a cougar, let alone a Smilodon. He facepalmed himself in frustration. How could he be so foolish? He negotiated this with his ex-sister, and after a while, she sadly understood. He needed someone with the right amount of experience to handle him. An adult. They went back up to the interior of the house, and went their separate ways. Lincoln went to Lisa's room and saw she was there, writing something down.
"Can I come in?" He asked.
"Yes you may."
Without hesitation, Lincoln approached her. She turned around, showing her typical indifference.
"Remember when you said, you'd work on an antidote to restore me to normal?"
"Yes, indeed I said that."
"Well, you didn't know this, but I happened to overhear something you interesting you said about it, yesterday."
Lisa quickly realized what he was talking about, so she acted quickly.
"You overheard correctly that I was doing at least mostly my part in it, also as a way to earn your forgiveness."
Lincoln's jaw dropped a medium, but he closed it and nodded.
"No one should suffer from such a horrible thing like this, dear brother. Not even you. You have suffered long enough in your life. You've been treated like dirt, used, taken advantage of, misconceived as something that's idiotic to believe (and I was very foolish to believe it), wrongfully blamed, and stolen from. No more suffering is to come from absolutely any of that. You don't deserve to be surrounded by bad influences, regardless what anyone good or bad thinks of us. I am changing my ways. I am sorry that I wasn't a good sister for absolutely all of the applicable times. Especially when me and the other girls ate all of that chocolate you and Clyde needed to make your chocolate pies. And I'm sorry that I was a hypocrite during a certain moment as a scientist, when I didn't properly go green later, and that you ended up suffering in making it up to us."
"You and I weren't close to each other for years, Lisa. For all of your intelligence, you indeed did act less than moral when it counted, not just when it came to me. But you wanting to make sure I no longer have animal DNA, you working hard for it—that is so sweet, really caring. You do care indeed. I forgive you—-little sister." Lincoln soon hugged Lisa, and she hugged back. She thought she should show her emotions more often. For some reason, Lincoln didn't feel that pain with his little sister, like he did with Lana. But right now, he was focused on something else. He rushed out of Lisa's room. 5 seconds passed before he came back, with his stuffed rabbit, Bun-Bun. He walked over to Lily who was in her crib. He put it in her crib, it really was his, no more. It was time for new beginnings.
*Cut to Lincoln in his bedroom. He had a book in his lap. And he was wearing his stress watch on left arm.*
"You don't know this, but I overheard Lisa yesterday. I overheard her talking about her mostly doing her part in making an antidote to restore me to normal. And she was going to do it for forgiveness too. It was surprising. She's my sister. Now I know that she really cares." Lincoln raised his book as he began to read. With his interview over, he could hear Cliff meow and saw him as he entered his room. The cat jumped onto the bed, rubbed his head against Lincoln's side, and sat by the boy as he looked at the book. Lincoln smiled warmly with half-lidded eyes. Somehow, despite this morning, Cliff wasn't afraid of him. As for the book he was reading, it was an educational book, about the Mesozoic era. Lincoln read different prehistory books for hours, as hours passed, learning new facts about different time periods, different species (including less well known ones), the fossilization process, etc.
After so many hours, Leni came in.
"Hi, Linky. I heard you forgave Lisa. That is so sweet. I'm like, real happy for both of you." Leni was approaching the boy quickly, and when she got close to hugging distance of him, his stress watch started beeping half rapidly. The blonde girl became curious.
"What's that?"
"It's a stress watch. It tells when someone is stressed." The watch continued to beep half rapidly for 2 minutes. "Leni can you take a small distance back, please?"
Leni stepped away, until she was 2 feet away from the door post. The watch was beeping more slowly.
"Now come back in to where you last stood close to me."
Leni did so, and when she got close enough again, Lincoln's watch beeped more rapidly. Leni went back to where she last was. The watch was beeping slowly again. The girl got close to her brother again, and the beeping's speed increased. She distanced herself and got closer again, the watch did the same things for both measurements of space. She did it again one more time, and the watch beeped more fast the exact closer she was, and more slowly the farther she was.
"Can I hold onto that watch for a moment?"
Her brother didn't argue with her question, he took off his stress watch, and handed it to Leni. She walked off, 2 feet away from the door post, the watch was beeping less rapidly, then when she got close enough to Lincoln again, the beeping became more rapid. Leni was emotionally getting hurt by the realization she was having. Lincoln only looked on at her solemnly, as his ex-sister gave him back his watch.
"Okay, then. I guess I'll just get going." She hid her true feelings with an awkward smile and closed the door in front of him. Lincoln planted his face in his palms and sighed frustratedly. How could this get more ridiculous?
Meanwhile,
Lynn Sr. And Rita were at the doctor. The latter was trying to see so many doctors about her behavior, but they were all occupied and unable to have an appointment for today. There was one last doctor she could see but they had to see him in the afternoon.
After so many hours of unusual behavioral symptoms Rita was going through, and a while of waiting in the guest waiting room, they answered several questions about Rita's new symptoms, and Rita had to go through some tests. In the end, the doctor brought out a special device, the very one that Rita was looking for, he was quite suspicious. He used it on Rita, and after a short while, he spoke out.
"Rita Loud, the truth has been vindicated. You-are-pregnant."
The couple gasped. Rita was now starting to shed a small stream of tears of joy.
"Pregnant? I—-I—-I-I can't believe it." She shed those tears as she was calmly laughing a little bit. Her husband laughed calmly as well, they laughed for 2 minutes as the laughter grew to medium, until the patriarch passed out, leaned his chair over, and they fell to the floor.
"So, that's it, huh? She's pregnant. We're really having another baby? Well, th-that's great. I-I'm happy for both of you. I'm happy for us. Good-bye." Leni spoke calmly, she ended her phone call from Dad, she was all alone in her room, she was sitting up on her bed, her legs were against her stomach, they were held by her arms. This was something wonderful. Mom was pregnant with another baby. But-how could she enjoy this news? How could she tell Mom what happened on her side? How can she be happy, when her brother is now stressed out, just from most of the girl's presence? She tried to hold it, but it only lasted for 10 seconds, she broke down calmly crying as she buried her face in her knees.
A/N: This episode is over, and onto the next. Lincoln's living situation has now increased up to 11. But at least Lisa has been forgiven. He has eight more sisters left to forgive. How many of you have been disillusioned by something, not counting bad loud house episodes? How many of you have been disillusioned after learning a dark secret about something or someone you love or admire on the Internet? I give credit for Lincoln's photo being gone from the staircase wall to SpartanXHunterX.
