luffy looked away from makino's beaming face, '..she got destroyed..'

makino's smile faltered, 'i'm sorry, maybe i heard that wrong. surely you didn't wreck my sweet meruhen gou.'

luffy began sweating at an alarming rate and whistling in an off tune.

'i endured 3 months of garp's teaching to enchant her and you somehow destroy all my work in the sole month you've been gone!,' makino caught on fire mid way through her rant. luffy knew she'd be mad but he didn't think she'd be 'becoming fire' mad, he should start running.
