It was a day like any other for Ben Tennyson, he and his team were sent on a mission to stop one of Ben's greatest villains, Vilgax the conqueror. Vilgax's evil plan this time was him trying to take over a planet to gain the power to take the omnitrix from Ben and kill both him and his family. Like usual, Ben and his team came in and defeated Vilgax and freed the planet from his grasp. That day, Vilgax swore the ultimate revenge against Ben.
"Ben Tennyson, on this day, I swear to take all that you hold dear and destroy it in front of you as you watch helpless, unable to stop me"
Ben shrugged it off and didn't think much on it, Vilgax had said similar things in the past after Ben would defeat him. Unfortunately for Ben, that would be his ultimate mistake, that mistake would alter Ben's life forever in more ways then one.
One day Ben had left home to go and complete a mission for the plumbers. When Ben returned home with his friend and partner Rook, he saw something truly horrible. Ben's home was destroyed, set ablaze and standing in the rubble was Vilgax looking down at Ben. Vilgax had fulfilled his promise to Ben, he had captured Ben's parents, his grandfather and girlfriend Kai.
Ben doing what he could tried to use the omnitrix to fight Vilgax and free those he cared about. Unfortunately, Vilgax came prepared and made the omnitrix obsolete. Vilgax injured Ben and almost killed Rook, taking off an arm and a leg. If that wasn't all, Vilgax killed Ben's parents and Kai while making him watch. When it came to his grandfather, Vilgax made Ben watch as he slowly tortured Max before killing him.
Something snapped in Ben, he had this indescribable anger and hatred towards Vilgax. That anger and hatred was what lead Ben to kill Vilgax and make sure he suffered worse then what he put his loved ones through. At that moment, Ben had finally won but at the cost of losing his loved ones and taking the life of Vilgax. Instead of sympathy for losing his loved ones or the praise for ending one of the galaxy's greatest threats, Ben was met with fear and hatred. This fear and hatred came from those whom Ben thought were his friends.
Viewing Ben as a threat, the world governments and the plumbers decide that it would be best if Ben were stopped before he could do something to them. Azmuth was forced to remove the omnitrix from Ben's wrist and send him to the Null Void in chains that he would never be able to escape from. Ben's cousin Gwen and best friend Kevin tried to stop them but were unable to or they would meet the same fate as Ben.
Ben didn't fight, he excepted his fate and went into the Null Void willingly. Before he went in, he gave a warning to those who were doing this to him.
"This may seem like a good idea now but be warned without me evil will take over and there will be nothing you can do about, maybe then you all will regret banishing me like this"
Null Void
Floating in the endlessness of the dark dimension known as the Null Void, we find Ben Tennyson, months after being sent to this place. Chains were on his wrist and ankles, preventing him from moving or breaking free. These chains also were what was keeping Ben alive after all these months. They kept him hydrated and gave a supplement that would replace his need for food. All the creatures and criminals of the Null Void avoided Ben for fear that he might escape and kill them.
During his time in the Null Void, all the color in Ben's body had faded away, his hair had become black, his skin had become pale and his once emerald green eyes had turned a pale gray color. It was like all of the life in his body had vanished and all that was left was a hollow shell.
"They betrayed you, they abandoned you and now here you rot away into nothingness" a voice whispered to Ben
"They did not, now go away and leave me in peace" Ben said still looking down at the red rock ground
"Be that way while those who did this to you live their best lives getting fat and happy while you starve to death" the voice said
"I deserve this, I killed Vilgax, I broke my code and now I must pay the price" Ben said
"You can't ignore me forever" the voice said
"Yes I can, now once again leave me alone" Ben said frustrated
"How long do you think you will be here? How long do you think those systems will keep you alive?" The voice asked Ben
"Long enough, long enough" Ben answered
Suddenly a shadowy hand cupped Ben's chin and lifted his head up, in front of Ben was a figureless shadow
"Don't be like that, weren't you the one who warned them that an evil would come and that they would regret sending you here, did you not?" The shadow figure asked Ben
"I did but that was me angry" Ben said
"You never told them what that evil would be, maybe that evil will be you enacting your revenge against them" the shadow figure said
"That's not me, I'm nothing and there is nothing I can and should do" Ben said
"Look at me Benjamin Kirby Tennyson, you know what they did to you was wrong you know what you did to Vilgax was right, now we, no you can do something to make them pay" the shadow figure said
Ben grew silent at the shadow figure's words, he began to listen and think about what the shadow figure was telling him
"It is my fault, all my fault" Ben said
"Look deep down inside Ben, you know this to be not true, you know it is all their fault, now what are you going to do?" The shadow figure asked Ben
Ben was still silent, he didn't say anything, he just averted his gaze down looking away from the shadow figure
"Do you want the power to enact your revenge?" The shadow figure asked Ben
"No" Ben answered
"Yes you do, NOW ANSWER!!!" The shadow figure said yelling at Ben
"Yes I do" Ben answered quietly
"Answer me louder" the shadow figure told Ben
"Yes I do, I want the power" Ben said looking up at the shadow figure
"Answer me even louder so this whole dimension will know" the shadow figure told Ben
"I want the power to enact my revenge against those who put me here" Ben said as loud as he could
"Good man, now let me help" the shadow figure said
The shadow finger floated over and touched the restraints on Ben's wrists. Suddenly they started to rust before turning into dust, freeing Ben. The shadow figure then did the same to the restraints around Ben's ankles. Now Ben was truly free and could move around as he pleased.
" That is one problem solved, that just leaves one more" the shadow figure said looking over at Ben's bare left wrist
"Without the omnitrix, I don't have any power" Ben said
" Don't worry about that, I can fix that" the shadow figure said
Suddenly the hand of the shadow figure wrapped around Ben's left wrist and went inside of his body. Ben fell to his knees in pain as it felt like his left arm was on fire. Suddenly a black and gray omnitrix appeared on Ben's wrist out of nowhere.
" That should do the trick for now" the shadow figure said
"Thank you for this" Ben said looking at his new omnitrix
" Don't thank me yet Ben, there is still more work that we need to do" the shadow figure replied before it phased inside of Ben's body
"Now what do we do?" Ben asked
" First we conquer this dimension and make it bow to you as its new ruler" the shadow figure answered
"Sounds like a good plan" Ben said with a grin
"With me by your side, you'll have more then enough power to accomplish that and then some" the shadow figure said
"I think I know the perfect place where we can start this little conquest of ours" Ben said
"And where would that be?" The shadow figure asked Ben
"Let's pay a visit to an older rooter friend of mine" Ben answered with a smile on his face
"Good good" the shadow figure said
A/N: Alright readers, looks like Ben's decent to the darkness has officially began here and now. Who or what is that shadow figure that has helped Ben and joined him on his new mission? That question may not be answered but I do like seeing you readers guess and speculate. Like I said before, this story will be a lot more darker then the stories that I normally do. You'll learn a bit more about Ben's new omnitrix and what it can do. Sorry that this prologue wasn't all that long but I wanted to save some good stuff for the first chapter and then on. Like I also said in the information part, this will be a harem story and there will be dark lemons. I won't tell you who is going to be in the harem but I will tell you that dark lemons are a bit rapey. I don't condone rape or advocate with it, I'm just using an evil character who is bad and all that, I'm nothing like that in real life and there won't be many scenes like that in story.
