Chapter two:
"How about you come along with us?" Razzy suggests in which Kaoru tilts his head curiously.
"Where are you going?" Kaoru inquires truly wondering what the plan is for the group.
"Well we are going to start going along for a walk." Razzy explains in which Kaoru nods his head.
"Sure. I'll come with you." Kaoru agrees to that idea then begins walking along with the group as they head off. He turns as Kira moves to keep pace with him. He looks up to the other since said other is much taller than him.
"It is great to have a new member of our group." Kira tells Kaoru turning to look down at the other so that their eyes meet with one another. "It hasn't been too long since we lost a member." He ignores a glance by Razzy who soon looks away from them to focus on leading the group to wherever they are going.
"You lost a member?" Kaoru inquires curious upon hearing this news. He is about to ask how though he goes quiet as he sees Kira nod. So he wants to give the other a chance to be able to respond, and maybe he doesn't even need to ask the other question which the other man probably knows that he will ask it.
"Yup. We lost one that Mosu was close to. His name was Meiji. They joined the group at the same time." Kira glances to Mosu who picks up the pace to move away from the two clearly not wanting to hear about this. He turns his attention back Kaoru with a soft gaze in his eyes. "We lost poor Meiji to some gunfire from some people who thought it would be a great idea to start shooting at us."
Kaoru feels a shiver pass through his body at hearing how they had lost one of their friends. He can't imagine loosing one of his friends to such a horrific way. "I am very sorry to hear that." He apologizes to Kira who waves it off to tell him that it's alright.
"Don't worry about it. You weren't a part of it." Kira assures the ginger haired male. He reaches back to the back of his left hip where Kaoru can't see; since Kaoru is on Kira's right. "Besides." He says before pulling out a black pistol that makes Kaoru's eyes widen for a moment. "We managed to take out two of them. So while we did lose a member we still technically won."
"Do all of you have guns?" Kaoru glances to the others and finally spots where a few have their guns hidden.
"Of course we do." Kira responds while putting his gun away and the ginger haired male turns back to him. "How else are we supposed to defend ourselves if someone comes at us with a gun? We surely can't use knives. I am very sure that you are smart enough to know how redicoulous that would be."
"Yes. I do see your point." Kaoru agrees letting his shoulders relax a little. He thinks to himself that surely they aren't bad people, they just probably have some enemies that they really need to protect themselves from. He can understand that since who would want to die when they could do something to try to prevent it? Plus Kaoru is sure that they do have the right to defend themselves even though they probably shouldn't have guns.
Sometimes though a little law breaking there could save the life of whoever has what they need to get out of a situation that might come up.
Though Kaoru does have one question that comes to his mind that feels like it is kind of nagging him. "Do you guys get shot at a lot?" He stares at Kira waiting for the response about this. He feels like he needs to know before he continues on with this group. He does need to make a choice of whether or not he will be staying with them.
For a moment Kira thinks then he responds with truth in his tone and gaze. "Sometimes we get shot at. Though there is usually time where it is a bit more peaceful." He informs Kaoru who nods his head as he listens though only when the other is speaking. "So we figure that it is better to be safe than sorry."
"I can respect that." Kaoru confirms deciding that maybe he will stay friends with them. He thinks that this could add some new excitement into his life after all.
"Hey. If you stay around long enough then we could probably teach you on how to use a gun. So that way you'll be alright if something does happen." Kira offers and before Kaoru can respond Razzy stops walking to look back at them.
"A wise idea there Kira." Razzy informs him as the two turn to look to him while he is looking back at them. "Our new friend must be able to protect himself after all." He then turns away after getting a nod from Kira, to continue on with leading the group that is with him.
Kaoru turns his attention to look back to Kira noticing that the other appears to be pleased with the praise from the one who appears to be the leader. He smiles softly to himself turning away to look ahead as Razzy continues to lead them on. He is about to bring up another possible conversation with Kira when they all stop as three men come around a corner.
Razzy raises his hand that is clenched into a fist and Kaoru notices the others getting ready to grab their guns.
Kaoru looks back to the three men that noticed them and are quickly approaching them. He wants to be ready if he has to try to dodge any bullets that might be shot at them from these three men. He can feel his heart pounding as there is fear, some adrenaline, and a hint of excited curiosity over how this might go. He slightly turns as his clothes on his shoulder is grabbed and he is hurried behind Kira.
Kira makes sure that Kaoru is protected with his own body knowing that the other has no weapons, which he guesses possibly also no weapon experience. He does know that he could be wrong however he doesn't want to take chances that could get their newest friend killed.
Kaoru does manage to slightly peek around Kira to be able to watch what is going to happen between the two groups.
The three men skid to a stop a little in front of the group, especially Razzy since he is the one that is in the lead, and they are glaring with anger mixed with hatred at all of them.
