-2 years Later-
It has been two years since Yuyuko and Yukari befriended each other, and many things changed. The Saigyou Ayakashi's influence started to grow and thus some villages were hit by it and were entranced by the look of its blossoms. Where they went to rest under the leaves of the Youkai tree, and then have their life force drained and as a result, they died.
Yuyuko's village was one of those hit by the influence of the Saigyou Ayakashi and those who feared and left her alone died while resting under the Youkai tree. This caused her village to be turned into a ghost town, which made her feel even more lonely as there is no one but Yukari there to be with her.
As of now, Yuyuko and Yukari were at the place where the food was originally served at the village with no one being there...as everyone died going to the Saigyou Ayakashi and dying by its influence.
"It seems that the Saigyou Ayakashi has spread its influence as shown in your village, Yuyuko…" Yukari said.
"Yeah…" Yuyuko said looking down.
Yukari looked at the skeletons near the tree.
"At the very least they all got what they deserve for what they did to you," the Gap Youkai said.
"Yeah…" Yuyuko said as she also looked at the skeletons of the villagers at the Saigyou Ayakashi. "But it does get truly lonely when you're not around here Yukari…"
"That's why I come as many times as I can, Yuyuko," Yukari said.
"And I am grateful for that Yukari…" Yuyuko said.
"You're welcome," Yukari said.
Yuyuko and Yukari simply kept eating what is there, which is sushi. She was able to make it through the boundaries of cooked and uncooked by gapping in the ingredients to have them be made.
"You know Yukari...I may be the only human to be safe from the Saigyou Ayakashi…" Yuyuko said.
"Your power doesn't just end lives, it protects you from death," Yukari said.
"Wait is that so?" Yuyuko asked.
"That is so," Yukari said.
"I see…" Yuyuko said. "That explains so much now...but what about you Yukari? How come you're not affected by the Saigyou Ayakashi?"
"Powerful youkais are not affected by its influence yet. And thanks to the Boundary of Life and Death, it won't ever affect me," Yukari said.
"I was a little scared that you would die to it...but that helped me to learn that won't happen at all…" Yuyuko said.
"I see," Yukari said.
"And I just don't want to be alone…" Yuyuko said.
"Don't worry, you will never be alone," Yukari said. "And chin up."
She gapped in a Dango stick and gave it to Yuyuko, who began to eat it.
It was delicious. As seen with the satisfied look on Yuyuko.
It made her forget that she is the last living human in her now-abandoned village, and enjoy herself, for once.
Yukari was glad to see Yuyuko's happy look on her face. She smiled tenderly.
All while the silence of the village was dominant. With no one talking to someone or other activities occurring. It was, by all means, a ghost town.
No one there but Yuyuko, and her best friend Yukari.
Also, the town itself was falling into disrepair. As there is a lack of people to help maintain it, one would think that it was abandoned for many decades, even though it was only abandoned for a few months at most.

-Several Hours Later-
Yuyuko was in her home with Yukari.
It was getting late.
Compared to the rest of the houses, Yuyuko's home was not falling into disrepair due to Yuyuko and Yukari's continuously attending to it. As a result, it is the only house that was inhabitable.
"So Yuyuko. What activities should we do right now?" Yukari asked.
"Well, it is getting a little late…" Yuyuko said.
"Yeah, it is…" Yukari said.
"You know Yukari...were you originally a human-like me? Or were you a naturally born youkai?" Yuyuko asked.
"Well…" Yukari then whispers her answer into Yuyuko's ear.
"Oh!" Yuyuko exclaimed.
"I see...well that was something unexpected…" Yuyuko said.
"I know, right?" Yuyuko said.
"Don't worry Yukari! Your secret is safe with me!" Yuyuko said.
"But I do want to know more about you… Yukari said.
"Well…" Yuyuko said. "I was gifted with my powers as you know...but well I couldn't control them and sometimes I would kill people around me..."
Yuyuko was feeling down.
"...It's getting late, isn't it?" Yuyuko said.
"It is, Yukari…" Yuyuko said.
"It very much is..." Yukari said. "Let's go rest now for the night."
"You're right…" Yuyuko said. "Yukari…"
"Yes?" Yukari said.
"Can I sleep with you?" Yuyuko said.
"Of course!" Yukari said.
"Thank you…" Yuyuko said.
Both went to Yukari's room, which was there whenever Yukari was there to stay with the human, and they got ready to sleep. Together.
In fact, they even hugged each other as they went to go to sleep.
Yukari is wearing a purple night gown, while Yuyuko is wearing a blue one.
The two of them were in each other's arms tightly, then they soon fell asleep together.
All the while the silence of the village that was Yuyuko's home was deafening.
A/n: So yeah there's something dark you would see but hey the ones who shunned Yuyuko and did not help her out died in the end so there's that. Though the Saigyou Ayakashi is getting terrifying and...there will be a way to deal with later...soon...
