Chapter 1
It's Not a Bikini If It's Armor
*Third Person Pov*
Reuben and the Bikini Warriors soon fought furiously against a vicious onslaught of monsters in a dungeon with everything they had in their possession but Fighter was sent flying back and landed in a crumpled heap.
"Is it my turn already?" Mage asked timidly.
She soon found herself face to face with a dragon, but was engulfed in flames but was immediately saved by Reuben who struck down the gigantic fire-breathing reptile. Then, Dark Elf fought against an ice fiend that made her feel cold but was blasted to oblivion by Reuben's fire magic. Last of all, Paladin came face to face with a slime, but it began to devour her clothes, until Reuben pulled her out and held her in his arm, as he struck it down with a lightning spell.
"Hey, guy! This armor you sold us is a piece of junk! We're heroes! No a bunch of bimbos on a beach!" snapped Fighter.
"I've got some of the latest armor in stock, if you'd like to try it. I think it'd be a perfect fit," said the shopkeeper.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever you say pops," replied Reuben who stood quietly behind them with his back against the wall, and his eyes shut in a relaxed manner.
Reuben waited patiently for the Bikini Warriors to return as they changed into some new armor that looked similar to their old armor.
"Yeah, it looks good on you," said the Shopkeeper.
"And while it may look similar to your old outfits, I can see a rather interesting difference since it'll keep you safe from anything that could damage it," added Reuben.
"You're right, this feels cute. This is without a doubt the most beautiful armor I've ever seen," replied Mage, who received a gentle pat on the head.
"I agree, it's fitting but not too revealing, offering both equal parts protection and comfort. It's the greatest!" grinned Paladin, making Reuben nod in agreement.
"When you're as good as I am, You can really tell the difference. Our enemies will tremble when they see the four of us in these. But, with Reuben's spell-sword abilities rivaling my own, I find our chances of victory are pretty high," added Dark Elf, as she and Reuben exchanged a handshake with each other.
"But like I said, they may look similar to your old outfits, but at the same time, they fit you like a glove. However, I did find a new set of clothes that suit me quite well," said Reuben.
The four girls waited, until they saw him dressed in what appeared to be a set of new leathery armor, that seemed light enough for him to move around in very easily. But this time he added a flowing coat over the ensemble, with his sword placed carefully behind him.
"Wow, this is a pretty good improvement to your look Reuben," admitted Fighter.
"Thanks," replied Reuben.
"So you gonna buy the new gear?" asked the shopkeeper.
The four of them nodded in agreement, except for Fighter. They soon returned to the dungeon, and were now fighting the monsters that had beaten them. Unfortunately, Fighter had been knocked down, but Paladin was relieved to see that her armor was intact, as Reuben struck down a horde of vicious monsters coming towards his friends. When the same dragon unleashed it's fire breath on Mage, she was unaffected by it. The same could be said for Dark Elf who was unaffected by the cold the ice fiend blasted her with, while Fighter stood watching dismay, until Reuben struck down the creatures with his blade, and blasted them to dust with his overwhelming power. They soon returned to the shopkeeper, so that Fighter could ask him for a set of armor. Then once everyone stepped out they could see that a crowd of people had gathered around them to see this ragtag group of heroes who stood in front of them each wondering who they were, but also cheering for them, and wanting to be like them.
"Guess we have fans, I could get used to this," said Dark Elf.
"No one's ever paid attention to us before, this is so awesome," added Mage.
"Finally an outfit that's worthy of our bravery and nobility and our truly selfless deeds," smiled Paladin.
"This new bikini armor is the best," cheered Fighter.
"I'm glad you girls like it, but at the same time, I think the four of you are beautiful," said Reuben who stood with his hands behind his head, as more people cheered for him in his brand new set of gear, consisting of lightly armored boots, vambraces, a dark colored shirt, black pants, and a silver coat made entirely out of cloth, while he had his sword on his back.
"I'm happy to see you're finally admitting it. It's good armor, but I just finished a set that's even better," said the shopkeeper.
To Reuben's cool headed nature, he saw that the four girls were now wearing a different set of outfits that looked more like regular swimsuits, as they squirmed in dismay and berated the shopkeeper for the outfits.
"But they look exactly like the ones you were wearing earlier," said the shopkeeper.
"You're wrong! These are completely different!" they cried out in unison
"Actually you girls still look beautiful no matter what you wear," said Reuben.
"Y-you really think we're beautiful, no matter what we wear?" asked Fighter, who smiled at him.
"Of course I do, Fighter. Sure you, Paladin, Mage, and Dark Elf may have a difference of opinion about what you wear, but what I can say is this: true beauty is always found within, no matter what any girl has," replied Reuben.
Mage giggled, Dark Elf smirked, but Paladin gently wrapped her arms around his neck as she looked deeply into his green eyes.
"Then you truly are a man among men, Reuben, and I'd gladly give my life not just for my friends, but for you as well," she said.
Then she pressed her lips against his, and shared her first kiss with the very man she began to have strong feelings for. Then, later that night, the five of them decided to rent a room so that they could sleep together in each other's warm embrace.
