Alerted by the displacement of energy, Saturn appears and finds the newly created Danny Phantom. She decides to allow him to keep his power and stick around to watch him become a hero.

2. Belief

"This is bad." Danny was falling through the floor at school again.

One touch from Hotaru and he was back to normal, on his feet again.

She really was the master of her domain.

"So you're the boss of the ghosts?" Tucker said.

"Like a Queen?" Sam asked.

"I-It's not like that." Hotaru said shyly. "I just keep anyone from taking power in the Ghost Zone, and I try to keep mischievousness in the human realm by the ghosts to a minimum."

"Oh." Danny said. "That's why you said I should use my powers to fight ghosts. You need my help."

"Well. Not really." Hotaru said passively. "But I know from experience that the world can be saved or lost based on one person. You are that person Danny."

Danny blushed. "Th-thanks. You really believe in me Hotaru."

Hotaru smiled. "Someone once taught me to believe. Now I pass it on to you."

She kissed his cheek while Sam seethed.
