I ACTUALLY LIKE THIS PROPHECY
Percy stretched his arms as he walked out of his cabin, wearing his orange t-shirt and a simple blue hoodie jacket, blue jeans and simple tennis shoes. He looked around and saw how the campers were going about their daily life. The Ares campers were practicing their sword fighting with Hephaestus campers while the Apollo kids were practicing their archery with. Aphrodite kids were busy gossiping with some of the Demeter campers, while nearby campers were doing other activities.
Hard to believe that 6 months ago, this place was a battlefield for the fate of the world against the mighty earth goddess. Hard to believe that friends were gone...just like Leo...
As Percy looked around he saw the person he was looking for, his girlfriend. She was walking out of her cabin, she seemed concerned.
"Annabeth! Wait up!" He said as he ran up to her.
She turned to look at him, and relief washed over her. "Oh, morning Percy!" She said with a smile.
"Hey, did you sleep well?" He asked as he looked her over. "Looks like you...woke up on the wrong side of the bed." He said with a smirk.
She patted his arm. "You're one to talk, seaweed brain. Look at your hair. It's a mess."
"Uh, it's always a mess?"
"Exactly why it needs to change."
"Nah, I like it the way it is."
She just laughed. "Oh gods..." Percy's smile faltered. "But seriously, are you Ok?"
She just sighed. "I...had a dream, Percy. And...I don't know what it meant. I need to speak to Chiron about it. Maybe he knows something."
His eyes widened. "You...Had one too?"
"Yes it was...!" She stopped mid sentence. "Wait, you had a dream too?!"
Percy then began to explain as he and Annabeth went to the big house.
Going to the big house they found Nico and Chiron already waiting for them. And by their expressions, mostly Chirons, some bad news was coming their way.
Nico started before the couple could say anything "I had a dream about a shadowy... thing telling me to get it out."
"Yeah, same dude. Except more water and I got drowned by Charybodis." Replied Percy.
"And I was in the clouds somewhere until I got burned by a massive light beam. It seemed old and greek-styled but none that I know" Annabeth also elaborated on her own dream. She turned to Chiron "Do you know what these dreams could be Chiron?".
The old wheel-chair riding trainer stiffened his jaw. He seemed to come up with the right words to say "W-we will have to consult Ms. Dare about thi-" a spray of mist interrupted him. Looking back a rainbow appeared "An iris message, but from who?" Asked Annabeth.
"One way to find out" said Percy as he tossed a Drachma into the rainbow.
"Oh Iris, goddess of the rainbow, please accept my offering." He said as he tossed the coin. The coin vanished as the image of a certain demigod appeared. "Hello? Nico?"
"Hazel?" Nico walked over to the rainbow to see his sister, who was currently at Camp Jupiter along with Frank and Jason, who was helping to build structures to honor all the minor gods. "Is that you?"
The image of Hazel smiled. "HI, Nico. Glad I got a hold of you, I need to talk to Chiron and-! Oh!" She just noticed that he and the others were in the room. "Hello, everyone."
"Hey, Hazel." Percy responded. "How's Frank?"
"He's doing good. He's helping Reyna and Jason build more structures to honor the minor Gods, he just finished with sketches and layout of shrines for Kymopoleia."
Percy grimaced, remembering the last time he met his half sister, with the giant Polybotes. Not a happy experience.
"That's good to hear, Mrs. Levesque." Chiron said in approval. "Now, what exactly did you wish to talk to me about."
"Well...about a dream I had." She then explained to everyone present what she witnessed. "...Then I woke up, and called you."
Everyone was silent. "You...were on the moon?" Percy asked.
"Yes."
"Talking to someone...on the moon."
"Yes."
Percy was silent, then turned to Annabeth. "So...aliens?" That earned him an elbow to the gut from Nico. "Did it say anything else?"
"No." She shook her head. "It just said they wanted to be released and that their friends would be needed, and already communicated to other demigods."
The room went silent. "What?"
"Then all the people in our dreams must be them."
They turned to Annabeth whos wheels they could see turning in her mind "All 3 of our dreams have that in common of a voice of a person telling us to "GET ME OUT", but what's odd is that the one who contacted you " Pointing at Hazel "Actually spoke to you. And even told you she knew we were already being contacted. How?"
Hazel shook her head "I don't know. When I talked with Frank and Jason they didn't have dreams like us at all."
"Lucky them" commented Percy
"Very" added Nico
"And that's not it." Continued Hazel who turned towards Chiron ``Chiron. She said "We have not forgotten." What did she mean?!"
Chrion loosened thewhite knuckle grip on his chair that they didn't know he was doing. With a heavy sigh and eyes filled with deep emotions he told them "I will tell you what I know after what Ms. Dare has for us." He turned around and strolled off "I hope by the gods that they will not be your enemies."
"Enemies?" Percy looked at Annabeth with a confused expression. "What's that supposed to mean?" He turned back to Chiron. "Chiron, wait! What did you mean by that? Chiron!" But he had already turned into his centaur form and trotted away, very quickly.
"What's with him?"
Annabeth didn't know. She had seen Chiron upset but not like this, he seemed more...sad. Like a father grieving the loss of a child. Nico turned back to Hazel. "Hazel, when you can tell the others at the camp what we learned. This could be big...I just hope it isn't."
"Right. I will as soon as I can. See you guys later! Oh and the others say Hi!" With that, the rainbow vanished. Just then Piper came up to the big house. She looked back as she saw Chiron trot away. "Hey guys, uh...what's wrong with Chiron? He looked upset."
"We don't know." Nico said. "We were just discussing with him and Hazel about our dreams."
"Dreams? Wait, Hazel?" Piper perked up. "Was Jason with her? I hope I didn't miss him!" Jason had left a few days ago and still hadn't responded back to her calls.
"No he wasn't." Percy replied. "He's busy finishing shrines to honor the minor gods. He says hi though." Piper sighed. "Well It's better than nothing. Oh that's right!" She perked back up, urgency in her eyes. "Rachel says she wants to speak to us. Something important."
"What about?" Nico asked.
"About a dream she had last night."
The others rushed over to The Cave of the Oracle, where inside they found Rachel frantically scribbling on a wall with black paint. After Python had taken over the original oracle of Delphi, the prophecies had stopped, so she painted over the paintings with white to help her concentrate, but it didn't work. Until recently that is. Had she seen something?
She had her back turned to them, focusing on a painting, but when she heard them she turned around. "Oh, finally! Took you long enough!"
"It was only like, 5 minutes!" Piper exclaimed.
"Five minutes too late!" Rachel replied.
"Rachel, what's the problem?" Annabeth asked. "Why did you bring us here? Did you have a prophecy?"
"Yes! No! Well...I don't know!" She instantly replied.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Nico asked.
"Well...I don't know." She said. "As you know, I haven't had prophecy's or visions for months since Python came back through the Doors Of Death. I've been for better words...cut off...until last night."
"You said you had a dream last night." Piper replied. "A vision?"
"Yes, but it wasn't the same as from the others before." She explained. "It's not from the oracle."
"What do you mean?" Annabeth asked.
"I mean that this wasn't from the spirit of Delphi, it was...different. Like...someone else was trying to...communicate with me."
"Maybe it was a god?" Nico suggested. Gods did often appear in dreams.
"No, I don't think so." Rachel said. "Whoever it was...it didn't feel like a god. It felt...different. Powerful. Ancient."
"Well what did this powerful ancient non-god person say? and what did they look like?" asked Percy.
Rachel scratched her head "Well I didn't see her more like just a sort of shadowy figure. but I did see purple irises staring at me. Freaky stuff right there."
"That's what Hazel said she saw in her dream. Guess it must be the same girl" noted Nico "But did she say anything?"
"I was getting to that!" replied Rachel not happy about being interrupted "Well she actually said a lot, To quote her "Prophecies are Centaur crap and Delphi doesn't make sense." Rachel's eyes glowed green "Hey relax, that wasn't me k?" her eyes went back to normal.
Percy whispered to Annabeth "She ain't wrong tho" His girlfriend elbowed him, but grinned nonetheless,
Rachel cleared her throat "Anyway she then said "I'll give them a good prophecy:
Go to Calypso's home
open the towers dome
Free the real son of the seas
The warden is a fallen giantess
The dark son is in primitive art
A switch will be needed of the heart
The man on the moon is a woman
The other 3 will open your path, man
"and then she said "Oh and tell Chiron he's a dead man walking,"
As the others registered what the 'Prophecy' was, each was in their own thoughts until Percy spoke up. "Uhh...what did she mean by Calypso's home?" He looked a little shocked. "Does she mean...that Calypso?" 'Is Calypso still on the island? I thought she was supposed to be freed. And what tower? What dome?'
Annabeth put a finger to her chin. "Wait, did she mean...Ogygia?" She turned to Percy. "The island that you were sent to a few years ago?"
"Yeah..." Percy remembered how he had been stranded and rescued by Calypso, who nursed him back to health and sent him back home on the raft. He remembered the flower that she gave her. "The gods were supposed to set her free. Don't tell me that she's still...!"
"What about the real son of the sea's part? And the warden is the fallen giantess?" Piper asked.
"Well from what Percy's dream told us, the fallen Giantess could only be Charybdis. She wasn't always a monster, she was turned into one by Zeus after claiming so much land for the sea."
"Thank god that never happened to me." He muttered to Nico.
"Don't Jinx it, or it might happen." Nico smirked at Percy's nervous expression.
"As for real son of the seas...I'm not sure what that part means. A child of Poseidon perhaps? I don't recall Poseidon's children ever being protected by Charybdis', she would probably just eat them." Annabeth explained.
"How would we even defeat her!? We barely went around her and are thinking about it now. If they have Charybdis guarding whoever then that makes me want to free them even less" complained Percy.
Nico nodded in agreement "Yeah this whole thing seems sketchier and sketchier, We don't even have a reason to free them."
"You will have a reason"
They turned to find Chiron in his Centaur form sweaty and trying to control his labored breaths.
Annabeth tried to ask "What do you-"
"This place will do as any to explain" he interrupted walking over to a small puddle and created a mini Iris message.
The rainbow quickly got online and you could see Hazel on the other side "Hello?"
"Ms. Hazel, please bring Mr. Zheng, Grace and Mclean. We need them all here."
Once everyone was gathered Rachel just had to tell Chiron the "Prophecy" she was given. Chiron could only chuckle "She always hated Delphi and her prophecies. Never liked being told what to do." Although he chuckled it didn't sound happy and as he gazed at the ceiling he seemed to be lost in memory.
Annabeth was the first to break the short silence "Chiron..."
The old teacher hummed in acknowledgement
"Who are we dealing with?"
Chiron brought his head back down with tired eyes as if he had just woken up from a distant dream "The original founders of what is now known as Camp Half-blood. The ones who gave the name to the camp and the first heroes I've ever trained."
"But wait, weren't the first you trained where Aeneas, Jason, Achilles, Atalanta, Asclepius, and Perseus" said Annabeth.
"Only you would memorise that, Annabeth and yes those were the first I trained officially. These 4 were scrubbed from the annals of time and you would not even be able to find their names or any of their feats in any books. Human or God. '' responded Chiron, Throwing everyone into the loop.
Before they could ask any questions Chiron continued "They are not only my first students, but they were also my greatest pupils. The only crime they were imprisoned for was their parentage... They are the progeny of Nyx, Erebus, Hemera, and Pontus. They were Primordial demi-gods."
