Chapter 1: Little Town
Somewhere in the land, there is a little house. Living in the house is a 17 year old girl. She has blonde hair with two pigtails, wore a white sailor fuku with a red ribbon, blue collar, and a blue skirt. Her name is Serena Tsukino. She is carrying a book, as she makes her way to a bookstore in the village. As she makes her way to the village, she begins to sing.
Serena: Little town, it's a quiet village. Everyday, like the one before. Little town, full of little people. Waking up to say...
As Serena enters the village, everyone calls out "hello" or "bonjour" to her. She saw Chef Kawasaki offering bread to the villagers. She walks past Funshine Bear, who is strolling a wheelbarrow full of pumpkins and greets her.
Serena: There goes the baker with his tray like always. The same old bread and rolls to sell. Every morning just the same. Since the morning that we came. To this poor, provincial town...
Kawasaki: Good morning, Serena.
Serena: Morning, Kawasaki.
Kawasaki: Where are you off to?
Serena: The bookshop. I just finished a really wonderful story about a beanstalk and an ogre and-
Kawasaki: That's nice. Hey, Nagoya! Hurry up! We got bread to sell!
Serena shrugs and continues on her way. As she heads to the bookshop, she passed Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, and Ariel.
Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, & Ariel: Look, there she goes, that girl is strange, no question. Dazed and distracted, can't you tell...
Playful Heart Monkey: Never part of any crowd...
Gusto Gummi: Cause her head's up on some cloud...
Villagers: No denying she's a funny girl, that Belle!
Serena jumps on a back of a wagon driven by Aladdin and rides it through town. He spots his wife Jasmine.
Aladdin: Hello!
Jasmine: Good day!
Aladdin: How is our family?
Malon is buying meat from Link. He is smiling silly at her.
Malon: Bonjour!
Link: Good day!
Malon: How is your wife?
Seeing what her husband is doing, Zelda hits Link on the head with a rolling pin.
Sakura: I need six eggs!
Zoro: That's too expensive!
Serena: There must be more than this provincial life!
The wagon passed by the bookshop and Serena jumps off. She enters the shop runned by Zummi Gummi.
Zummi: Morning, Serena.
Serena: Good morning. I came to return the book I borrowed.
She hands the book to Zummi.
Zummi: Finished already?
Serena: I couldn't put it down. Do you have anything new?
Zummi:(Laughs)Not since yesterday.
Serena climbs up the ladder to check out the books.
Serena: That's alright. I'll borrow...this one.
She took the blue book out and gave it to Zummi.
Zummi: That one? But you've read it twice!
Serena: Well, it's my favorite.
She rolls the ladder to the other side of the bookcase.
Serena: It has far off lands, amazing swordfights, magic spells, a prince in disguise-
Zummi: Since you like it so much, it's yours.
Serena: But, sir-
Zummi: Keep it! I insist!
Serena: Why, thank you very much!
As she happily leaves the bookshop, Paploo, Gruffi Gummi, and Grumpy Bear are watching her.
Paploo, Gruffi, & Grumpy: Look, there she goes. That girl is so peculiar. I wonder if she's feeling well...
She walks past Wicket, Cubbi Gummi, and Tenderheart Bear playing jump rope and pets Cubbi on the head.
Brittany, Jeanette, & Eleanor: With a dreamy far-off look...
Some water pours down the gutter nearby and is about to fall on Serena, but she uses a sign to keep herself dry.
Alvin, Simon, & Theodore: And her nose stuck in a book...
Villagers: What a puzzle to the rest of us is Belle!
As Serena goes to sit down on the edge of a fountain, Huey, Dewey, and Louie were sitting by her, as she sings.
Serena: Oh! Isn't this amazing! It's my favorite part, because you'll see. Here's where she meets Prince Charming. But she won't discover that it's him till chapter three.
Suddenly, Scrooge Mcduck calls on the three young ducks.
Scrooge: Come on, boys! Let's go!
Huey: We're coming, Uncle Scrooge!
The three young ducks said good-bye to Serena and left. As Serena walks past a hat shop, Teebo and Latara are in there, trying on hats.
Latara: Now, it's no wonder that her name means beauty. Her looks has got no parallel...
Teebo: But behind that fair facade, I'm afraid she's rather odd. Very different from the rest of us...
Serena walks past Donald Duck, Daffy Duck, Goofy, and Sylvester. She walks on a seesaw and it hits Goofy on the chin, making him faint.
Villagers: She's nothing like the rest of us! Yes, different from the rest of us is Belle!
A bunch of ducks are flying around. Suddenly, a bullet hits one of the ducks, making it fall to the ground. A bald man with a scouter and wears a black armor with brown pauldrons runs in the middle of the road, trying to catch it with a bag, but it landed by his side. He puts the duck in the bag and ran to his boss, who also has a scouter and wears a black armor with gray pauldrons. He blows the smoke off his gun.
Bald Man: Wow, Turles! You didn't miss a shot! You gotta be the best hunter in the world!
Turles: I know.
Bald Man: No beast could stand a chance against you.(Laughs)And I bet no girl would either.
Turles wraps his arm around the bald man.
Turles: True, Nappa. And I planned on getting that prize.
He points to Serena, who is reading a book.
Nappa: What? That plumber's daughter?
Turles: That's right. The lucky girl I wanna marry.
Nappa: But she's-
Turles lets him go.
Turles: The most beautiful girl in town.
Nappa: I know, but-
Turles knocks him with his gun.
Turles: That makes her the best. And don't I deserve the best?
Nappa: Well, of course! I mean, you do! But I don't see-
Turles: Right from the moment when I met her, saw her. I said she's gorgeous and I fell...
He takes his gun from Nappa's hand, looks at a nearby mirror, and brushed his hair with his hand.
Turles: Here in town, there's only she, who is beautiful as me. So, I'm making plans to woo and marry Belle...
As he starts following Serena, he walks past three women, Chi-Chi, Bulma, and 18. They are filling a bucket with water.
Chi-Chi, Bulma, & 18: Look, there he goes, isn't he dreamy. Mister Turles, oh he's so cute.
Nappa drools, as he looks at them, but they accidentally shot water in his face.
Chi-Chi, Bulma, & 18: Be still, my heart, I'm hardly breathing. He's such a tall, dark, strong, and handsome Prince.
The women faints in happiness. Turles has trouble going through the crowd, as he tried to reach Serena.
Naruto: Hello!
Turles: Pardon!
He-Man: Good day!
Sonic: But yes!
Luffy: You call this bacon?
She-Ra: What lovely grapes!
Megaman: Some cheese!
Yusuke: Ten yards!
Lion-O: One pound!
Turles: Excuse me!
Banjo: I'll get the knife!
Turles: Please let me through!
Seiya: This bread!
Michelangelo: Those fish!
Simon Belmont: It's stale!
Ichigo: They smell!
Inspector Gadget: Madame's mistaken!
Serena: There must be more than this provincial life!
Turles: Just watch, I'm going to make Belle my wife!
The crowd gathers in front of Turles, completely blocking him from Serena, as they sing on.
Villagers: Look there she goes, a girl who's strange, but special! A most peculiar mademoiselle!
Turles went inside a house and went up the rooftop.
Villagers: It's a pity and a sin! She doesn't quite fit in! But she really is a funny girl! A beauty, but a funny girl! She really is a funny girl! That Belle!
As the song ends, Serena turns around. The people went back to what they were doing. She shrugs and kept on reading her book on her way home.
That's it for chapter 1. Belle is a nickname the villagers gave to Serena. I bet alot of you weren't expecting alot of 80s cartoon characters to make cameos. Can you guess what cartoons they're from? Next time, we will get to see the castle.
