FACE CLAIMS
PRIME MINISTER QUINCE BUSH- JEFFREY BOWYER-CHAPMAN
Sacremento. Province of Angeles. 2 months after the revolution of 2121.
Quince Bush took a deep breath as he walked into the great hall of the King's Congress. He had been sworn in as the Prime Minister of Illèa only 5 days ago after Tybalt Tyler had resigned the position. When Maxon II died, any positive reputation that Tyler had died with him. Many of his colleagues had suffered similar ends. Almost all of the conservative congressmen and women had been primaried and now liberals and socialists had gained many seats. The Illèan Conservative party only had 5 seats left in the King's Congress.
As Prime Minister Bush took to the podium, it was a historic moment for the country. Not only was he the 2nd African-Illéan to hold the position, he was also the first openly gay Prime Minister.
"I call this meeting of the King's Congress to order." Prime Minister Bush declared as everyone sat at attention. "I am happy to report that the order has been restored throughout Illéa and that the revolution, as its being called is over with the last of Maxon II's supporters being removed from power."
"Will the Prime Minister yield for a statement?" The congresswoman from the province of Whites inquired.
"I will yield." The Prime minister replied.
"I think that I speak for all of my fellow colleagues when I say that we are relieved that the chaos is winding down and that the reign of Maxon the merciless is behind us. However, with the abdication of former crown princess Melody Schreave and self imposed exile of the Queen, Illèa is without a sovereign. Anti-monarch sentiment has reached a considerable high and there are serious concerns amongst loyal monarchists that abolishing the crown seems to be a possibility."
"I assure you congresswoman, that will not happen." Bush insisted. "It has come to my attention that there is a legitimate heir to the Illèan throne. If you will recall, Maxon's younger brother: prince Dallas was killed along with his family under suspicious circumstances in a yachting accident. However...we have evidence that suggests one of Dallas's sons: Peter Schreave, survived." At this, the entire hall burst into chaos. All of the congressmen and women were trying to have their voices heard while the prime minister kept banging his gavel in an attempt to restore order.
"How is this possible?" a congressman from the province of Honduragua asked.
"I am not at liberty to say at this time." Quince insisted. "All I can say is that I have dispatched an investigator to test the validity of this claim." What Quince Bush had not said was that a former bodyguard of prince Dallas had come forward to him and was now being sent to find the heir and bring him to Angeles.
