On a large computer screen, Declan saw the crowd exiting the arena in a fear of frenzy after witnessing and experiencing the terrifying incident that had just occurred.
"Nakajima, have Moon Shadow and Sun Shadow help get the citizens get out safely and notify the Lancers to handle and fend off these unexpected visitors!" Declan stated.
"Yes, Mr. President," Nakajima replied.
"After receiving the message from Declan on his Duel Disk, Shun informed the other Lancers and went straight to take care of the situation.
Meanwhile, in the center of the arena Yuya and Sylvio are dealing with the mysterious figure who interrupted the duel.
"You've got some nerve! When my father hears that you've disrupted the biggest and important duel of my life, you're going to wish that you didn't." Sylvio exclaimed.
"Oh, get over yourself." "Besides my business deals with your little friend here. Now I advised you better leave or else you'll regret it."
"Why you insignificant lit-, Sylvio if it's me wants, then it's my job to stop him. You go on and help the others handle the rest of them." Said Yuya
Sylvio hesitated at first, but nodded in response and left to go and aid the other Lancers.
"Before we start, tell me who you are and where you came from?, Yuya demanded.
"I'll tell you, if you win., '' replied the mysterious figure as his duel disk activated some sort of program.
[ACTION FIELD FUNCTION DEACTIVATED.]
"What did you do?" Yuya asked
"I just used a little program to make sure you can't use the help of your Action Fields to get an advantage. Think you can handle it?"
"I can handle anything you throw at me." Yuya retorted
"LET'S DUEL." They both shouted as Yuya drew his 5 cards while 5 cards appeared in front of his opponent.
"What the-?" Yuya thought
"I'll start things off by activating the Continuous Spell, Ransom Lair!" said the mysterious figure
The card materialized onto his field which showed an image of a dark cybernetic network with silhouettes of strange monsters in the background.
"When activated, I'm allowed to add any DARK Machine-Type Monster I want from my deck to my hand!"
A little red ring appeared from his disk as a card materialized from it, and he added it to his hand.
"Next, I activate the Continuous Spell, Hacking Virus. When a DARK Machine-Type Monster is special summoned from my hand or Graveyard, I get to draw a card.
A card materialized onto his field and showed an image of a herd of mechanical-like creatures invading Cyberspace.
When my opponent has no monsters, I can Special Summon Hack Worm from my hand."
Appearing in front of the robed man was a steel-plated worm with a glowing blue maw that let out a wry birth cry upon emergence.

"Thanks to Hacking Virus, I get to draw a card. I summon a second Hack Worm." Another steel worm appeared in front of him. "I draw another card. Next, I release both my worms to summon the mighty Cracking Dragon."
As the two Hack Worms disappeared, a huge mechanical dragon let out a screech before flying aside its owner.

"I play two cards face-down and end my turn." The mysterious figure said as two cards appeared in front of him.
"My turn, draw." "First off, I'm summoning out Performapal Skullcrobat Joker (LVL 4 PS: 8/8 ATK: 1800 DEF: 100)."
Appearing in swirls of light, somersaulting forward and landing on his feet, stands a male humanoid with long blond hair wearing a black, purple theme entertainer outfit, a big green bow tie, and eye mask. He also has on the Performapal theme design.
"Why thank you because when you summon a monster I can activate Cracking Dragon's effect!" "That monster's ATK is decreased by 200 for each of that monster's levels until the end of this turn and deals the same amount as damage! Cracking Fall."
The mechanical dragon let out harsh winds, draining Skullcrobat of its power and making Yuya wince with pain. "Argh."

"Yuya, are you ok?" His 3 counterparts all asked worriedly.
"I'm fine and I'm not done. When I summon Joker, his effect allows me to add one Performapal, Odd-Eyes, or Magician Pendulum Monster from my Deck to my hand. I add Performapal Monkeyboard." Yuya explained as Joker reached into his hat and pulled out a card before tossing it to his master.
"I now set the Scale 1 Performapal Monkeyboard in the Pendulum Scale." Yuya declared. A suited monkey with piano keys in its mouth appeared in a blue pillar.

"Monkeyboard's Pendulum effect activates. Once per turn, I can add a Level 4 or lower 'Performapal' monster from my Deck to my hand." Yuya took the card from his Deck and then played it. "With the Scale 8 Performapal Odd-Eyes Unicorn, I complete the Pendulum Scale." A green unicorn with a pink mane and tail wearing a blue tuxedo appeared in the blue pillar.

"I can now summon monsters levels 2 through 7 all at the same time." A giant version of Yuya's pendant appeared and swung like a pendulum between the pillars. "Swing Far Pendulum, carve the arc of Victory, My monster is ready to Swing into Act-… Yuya froze after noticing the hole his monsters would normally come out of, but was being blocked by a purple-colored electromagnetic field.
"What's going on with my Pendulum Summon?" Yuya wondered.
"That's because of my Ransom Lair's second effect." "As long as it's on my field, you can't summon 2 or more monsters at the same time." He explained
"That means until I can get rid of that card, Pendulum Summoning my monsters is limited," Yuya said to himself
"It's like he knew about your ability to Pendulum Summon and prepared a counter for it. But how did he learn about it?" Yuto wondered as well as the other counterparts.
"Even so, I won't let it stop me. Continuing with my move, I use my set scale to Pendulum Summon! Appear, dragon with the dichromatic eyes, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" (ATK: 2500/DEF: 2000, LV: 7, PS: 4)
A large red and beige dragon with several orbs on its body emerged from the light and roared in Attack Position.
"Did you forget my Dragon's effect? Not only does it rob 1400 ATK from your dragon, but also dishes out 1400 points of damage. Cracking Fall."
The mechanical Dragon once again let out harsh winds that damaged both Yuya and his ace monster.

"Just quit already. You've lost half your life points now and the duel just started. Plus, your monsters don't stand a chance against mine."
"Think again. I activate the Spell Pendulum Exchange, which lets me send Performapal Cheermole from my hand to my Extra Deck face-up and draw cards equal to its scale number is 5, so I get to draw 5 cards." Yuya explained as he added Cheermole to his Extra Deck and drew 5 new cards.
"Next I activate the Continuous Spell, Wonder Balloons." A box with a question mark on all of its sides appeared near Yuya.
"Now then, by discarding Performapal Swordfish, Targecko, and Nightmare Knight to the graveyard, Wonder Balloons gains a Balloon Counter for every card I sent."

Yuya pointed towards Cracking Dragon, "Finally, by sending Wonder Balloons to the graveyard, I can select one monster on the field, and it loses 1000 ATK for every balloon counter that was on this card until the End Phase."
Yuya snapped his fingers and the balloons blew up in smoke. Once the smoke cleared, Cracking Dragon is in balloons and struggles to get out. "3 balloons have popped and that means Cracking Dragon now has 0 ATK."

Yuya then pointed at Cracking Dragon once again, "Now, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, attack his Cracking Dragon with Spiral Flame Strike".
The dragon blasted the mechanical dragon with a stream of black and red fire.
Yuya held up his hand, "I activate Performapal Odd-Eyes Unicorn's Pendulum ability! Once per turn when a monster that has Odd-Eyes in its name attacks, it gains attack points equal to the attack of one Performapal on my field until the end of the battle phase, like my Skullcrobat Joker.
A blue beam came out from Odd-Eyes Unicorn's horn towards Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon and hit him, he then got surrounded by a yellow light while he roared.

"And thanks to Odd-Eyes's effect when it battles a Level 5 or higher monster the battle damage doubles! Meaning you'll be taking 4200 points of damage. Reaction Force."
The stream increased in power as it created an explosion and made the figure wince.
"Rise Falcon, Ravaging Rebellion!" Shay said
"Susanowo, Swinging Sword Slash!" Gong said.
"Frightfur Bear, Pummeling Paw!" Sora said.
"Trapeze Magician, Graceful Dive!" Dennis said.
"Raikiri the Rain Shower, Lightning Cutter!" Crow said.
"Abyss Actor-Superstar, Spectacular Star Shower!" Sylvio said.
"Mozarta, Graceful Wave!" Zuzu said.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" said the group of invaders as they were knocked unconscious and were transported away.
"I think that's the last of them." Shay stated
"Seems like it, they were sure quite the challenge." Gong added
"I agree with you, but let's go meet with Yuya and see how he's doing." Zuzu said
The group then headed to the center of the arena where Yuya was having his duel, they noticed that his opponent's field covered in smoke which made them assume that Yuya had won the duel, or did he?"
"Nice try, but it's going to take more than that to beat me." The mysterious figure said as he's still standing with his life points intact.

"How did you and your monster survive my attack?" Yuya asked.
"I played the trap Nutrient Z. When my LP takes 2000 or more points of damage, it boosted my LP by 4000 before the damage hit me. And Cracking Dragon can't be destroyed by monsters with an equal or lower level." The enemy explained to Yuya.
"Oh man, so unless Yuya summons a monster who is at least level 9 or has a rank, then he won't be able to get rid of that pesky dragon." Sora stated.
"Even if I can't destroy you monster, I can still deal you damage! Skullcrobat Joker attack Cracking Dragon!" The colorful jester twirled up high into the air and flew straight down slamming its foot into the dragon while dealing the figure damage.

"Since we're at the end of the Battle Phase, Odd-Eyes ATK drops back down to 1100." Yuya said as the glow surrounding Odd-Eyes vanished.

"Now by sending Cards of Compensation to the graveyard, I can activate the Spell Magical Thunder which lets me destroy one a card on the field. And the one I'm choosing is none other than your Cracking Dragon." Yuya stated as a stream of lightning emerged from the Spell destroying Cracking Dragon, while angering the enemy.
"Since, Cards of Compensation went to the graveyard, I get to draw two cards. Yuya declared as he drew. I set three cards face-down and end my turn. And since the turn is over. Both my monster's ATK return to their original value. Yuya said as three cards materialized in front of Yuya as he ended his turn.

The mystery man smirked. "You've destroyed my Cracking Dragon. Very impressive. My master was right about your strength."
"Your master? Who is this "master of yours?," Yuya asked.
"Like I said, I'll tell you if you win, and as a little reward for destroying my Cracking Dragon. I'll use something special to defeat you."
"And what would that be?" Yuya said.
"You'll see." "My turn! Draw!" The man drew, then said. "I activate the Spell Dark Eruption, which let's return a DARK Monster with 1500 or less ATK from my graveyard to my hand, so I'll return my Hack Worm!" He said as added the card back to his hand.
"Even if he got his monster back, he can't use its effect to summon it. What's he planning?" Yuya thought.
"I now activate Ransom Lair's third effect, since you control more monsters than me, I can summon one DARK Machine-Type Monster from my hand! Come forth, Hack Worm!"
Appearing in front of him again, was the steel-plated worm with a glowing blue maw.
"And since I summoned a DARK Machine-Type monster from my hand, Hacking Virus lets me draw one card. He said as he drew a card. Next I activate my face-down card Quantum Cat. By declaring a Monster Type and Attribute like Machine-Type and DARK, this card summons itself as a Normal Monster of that type and attribute." The trap transformed into a mechanical cybernetic version of a feline creature.

His opponent stared at his face and chuckled. "I can read you like a book. What you're about to see is the link to a new world."
What do you mean?" Yuya asked.
"Feast your eyes on this, Yuya Sakaki, for you, are the first to witness the future of Dueling!" I said raising my arm. "Appear, the future circuit that lights up my path!"
The strange-looking circuit appeared above the mysterious figure.
"The summoning conditions are at least three Effect Monsters! I set Hack Worm, Quantum Cat, and Jack Wyvern in the Link Arrows!" He said as his monsters entered the arrows, with Jack Wyvern entering the south-west, Hack Worm entering the south, and Quantum Cat entering the south-east lighting them up.
"What is happening!?" Yuya and everyone else asked shocked
"A new force that pierces through the closed world! Circuit combine! Link Summon! Appear! Link 3! Botnet Hydra!"
This new monster was half the size of Cracking Dragon and possessed arms and legs. It was mostly black and made of metal, but it had six wings attached to green orbs circling it, three mechanical heads, and its tail split in half at the back. When it appeared, it roared, creating a great blast of wind

Yuya stared at the dragon in front of him. "Link Summon…" He muttered.

Yuya watched as his Duel Disk shined. Two Monster Zones formed on his Duel Disk while his Pendulum Cards end up being in the far-left and right Spell/Trap Zones. "What happened?" What are these two new zones?"
"Those are the Extra Monster Zones," the mysterious figure explained. "And the Monster Card Zones have become the Main Monster Zones. That means we can only Special Summon one monster from the Extra Deck at a time."
"What!?" Yuya said, shocked at his opponent's words."That means I can only control one Pendulum monster." He growled.
"When Botnet Hydra is successfully Link Summoned, I can Special Summon one DARK Machine monster with 0 DEF from my hand, Deck, or GY to a zone this card points to. I select the Cracking Dragon that's resting in my graveyard and summon it next to Hydra's bottom link."
The black mechanical dragon reappeared, roaring as it did so.
"Thanks to Hacking Virus I get to draw one card!", he said as he drew.
"But that's not the only thing I get because the monster I summoned through Botnet's effect was Cracking Dragon, I can Special Summon another monster from my hand, Deck, or GY to another zone it points to! From my deck, I'm summoning out Roko Basilisk!"
A cobalt-gray machine with glowing green orbs on its body appeared at the enemy's command, serpent-like in form but with blades for arms and a glowing green eye in the middle of its face.
"As long as I control Basilisk, you can't target nor destroy any of my Machine-Type monsters with your effects. And Hydra's effect prevents you from attacking it,so long as I have Cracking Dragon and Basilisk on my field."
"What!?" "So they're practically invincible now?" Yuya exclaimed in shock.
"This guy just put Yuya in a tough situation." Crow stated.
"It's going to take a miracle for Yuya to get out of this." Dennis added.
"So tell me Mr. Sakaki, how do you plan to overcome this obstacle?" The enemy asked.
"This is how!" "I activate the Trap, Pendulum Booster!" Yuya shouted as he revealed a card showing different Pendulum Monsters trying to restore power with an energy generator.
"I can only activate this card when I control both a Pendulum Monster and two cards in my Pendulum Zones. And with its effect, all Pendulum Monsters I control gain ATK equal to the combined scales between the two monsters in my Pendulum Zones! With Monkeyboard being Scale 1 and Unicorn being Scale 8, my monsters gain 900 ATK!"
Both of Yuya's monsters were surrounded by a golden aura as their attack went up.

"All of his monsters have over 3000 attack points! Yuya is in a serious pinch!" Sylvio stated.
"If his next two attacks succeed, Yuya will lose!" Sora added.
"Battle! Cracking Dragon, attack Skullcrobat Joker! Traffic Blast!" Cracking Dragon sent out a stream of blue fire towards Skullcrobat Joker.
"I activate Performapal Targecko's effect in my graveyard!
"Eh?" His opponent let out in concern.
"By banishing this card in my graveyard, not only do I get to select your attack targets, but I also get to choose which monster of yours attacks first!"
"What?!" the mysterious man shouted.
"So instead of Cracking Dragon, Roko Basilisk will battle Skullcrobat Joker!"
A green-colored gecko emerged and used its long tongue to swap Cracking Dragon and Basilisk's place.
"Fine! Basilisk attacks Joker with Viral Venom Burst!" Basilisk lent out a poisonous purple stream of fluid at Skullcrobat, destroying it and damaging Yuya.
YUYA LP: 1800-1300
"I now activate Botnet Hydra's other effect! Each time a DARK Machine monster destroys your monster through battle, you get slammed with 500 points of damage!" He shouted as a ball of dark energy ejected from Hydra's mouth straight towards Yuya.
YUYA LP: 1300-800
"And now, Cracking Dragon attacks Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon with Traffic Blast!" Cracking Dragon sent out another stream of blue fire towards Odd-Eyes.
"I'll use Targecko's effect once again, so your Hydra's the one that's going to be battling Odd-Eyes!" He shouted as his lizard friend appeared once more and swapped out Cracking Dragon with Botnet Hydra.
"Doing that means your suffering will last longer. Botnet, attack Odd-Eyes with Eraser Cannon!" Botnet charged up a bright-green energy sphere and fired it towards Odd-Eyes destroying it and making Yuya wince in pain.
YUYA LP: 800-600
"Hydra's effect activates! When a DARK Machine monster destroys your monster by battle, I can inflict 500 more points of damage!" Hydra formed another ball of dark energy in its mouth and hurled it towards Yuya, injuring and blowing him backwards.

"Yuya!" Everyone cried out in concern.
"Since I no longer control any Pendulum Monsters, Pendulum Booster's effect destroys itself." Yuya explained as his trap burst into particles.
The figure laughed. "This is too easy! With the power of Link Summon, you don't stand a chance, and neither do your comrades!" He sneered as he gestured to his field. "Now let's end this, Cracking Dragon! Attack Yuya Sakaki directly!" The mechanical dragon opened its mouth, and a massive inferno of blue flames aimed right at Yuya, who remained motionless as the attack struck.
KABOOM.
The Lancers watched in near silence as a massive cloud of smoke covered the field.
"Yuya…" Zuzu said all worried.
"I'm not done just yet!"
The enemy's eyes widened hearing those words. As the smoke dissipated, he saw Yuya Sakaki still standing with a smile on his face.
"What the heck?!" He shouted in disbelief. "How did you survive?!" He looked over to Yuya's field and there was a...stop light?
"Hehehe...this is the final trick up my sleeve! It's the Trap Card, Performapal Signal! When an attack is declared, I can draw 1 card, and it's sent to the graveyard. And if the draw card is a monster, the attack is negated!" Yuya explained with a smile.
"So you're betting your fate on the top card of your deck?" The figure asked.
"That's right. This is my final gamble!" Yuya shouted as he put his hand on the top card of his deck. "I'm putting it all on the line...DRAW!"
Yuya's shout echoed throughout the entire void. His dramatic draw created an arc of light for a split second.
Yuya held the card out for a second, creating suspense, which is what all entertainers do.
Before even looking at the card he'd drawn… Yuya smirked, which caused his opponent's eyes to widen.
Yuya then glanced at the card and showed it to his opponent. The card was…
"Monster Card, Performapal Springoose! Yuya declared with a grin.
"N-No way…!" His opponent said in disbelief.
"And by sending this card to the graveyard… I negate the attack!" Yuya shouted as the stop light turned red causing the attack to dissolve into beautiful golden particles.
"You knew what the card was before you looked at it, didn't you?" The villain asked.
"Hehehe, an entertainer never reveals his secrets." Yuya smiled.
"Well it doesn't matter! You only have 100 LP left, no cards in your hand, and even if you summon a monster Cracking Dragon's effect will reduce your LP to zero the second you do! Just give up and admit defeat already!" The figure yelled with an aggressive tone.
"I won't ever give up against someone who uses dueling to hurt others!" Yuya shouted with a determined look.
"Whatever, take your last pathetic turn before I crush you! I set one card face-down, Turn End!" The opponent shouted.
"I have no monsters left…and I have no cards in my hand." Yuya thought as he looked at his deck with sweat dripping from his face.
"Yuya, this is no time to be getting nervous." Yuri told the Pendulum counterpart.
"Yeah! We've gotten this far!" Yugo added.
"We believe in you, Yuya." Yuto said with a confident tone.
"That's right… I'm not alone…as long as I have the power of the bonds between my friends, I can't lose! My turn…"
Yuya closed his eyes and grasped the top card of his deck. He then opened his eyes with a determined expression as his blue pendulum pendant began to shine.
"…DRAW!"
Yuya swung his arm out as he drew, creating an arc of light with his arm motion. He gasped after noticing the card he drew." This is it! I'm going to win this duel! With Monkeyboard's Pendulum Ability, I get to add Performapal Raingoat to my hand!" Yuya shouted as a card slipped from his deck and added it to his hand.
"Next, I activate the Spell, Smile World! When activated, Smile World, until the End Phase, increases the ATK of all face-up monsters by 100 for each monster on the field. Now, there are three monsters on my opponent's field. Therefore, their ATK is increased by 300!"
Smiley faces floated around the villain's monsters, all of whom chuckled and flashed enormous smiles.

"All right, Yuya!" Sylvio screamed, pumping his fists in the air. "Now show him the power of an Entertainment duelist!"

Yuya grinned. "Well let me show you Crow. This might get a little bright, but don't blink," he said, and clicked a button on his Duel Disk. "Trap Card, activate! Smile Potion!
His face-down lifted, revealing a picture of a jug half-full of purple liquid. Then the jug materialized, glowed, and released its contents, painting the pavement amethyst.
"While I control no monsters, and the ATK of my opponent's monsters increases, I can activate this trap to draw two cards. Now then, my audience, cheer me on as I etch the future of this performance into your hearts."
The first voice came instantly. "Yuya, Yuya!" Zuzu said, repeating the word until the rest of the gang chimed in.
"That's it!" Yuya said, reaching for his deck. He dug his thumb under the second card. "Draw!" He drew and twisted the cards around, saying, "Alright!"
"I activate Performapal Springoose's effect! By banishing this card in the graveyard, I can return 2 cards on my field back into my hand! I return Monkeyboard and Unicorn in my Pendulum Zones back into my hand!" Yuya shouted as the two cards returned to his hand.
"What are you planning?" Yuya's opponent asked.
Yuya looked at one of the cards in his hand. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. His eyes opened, and he smiled while extending his arms out in the air.
"THE FUN…HAS JUST BEGUN!" Yuya shouted his catchphrase as if he was performing for an audience.
"I activate the Spell, Amazing Pendulum! When I have no Monsters in my Pendulum Zone, I can add 2 face-up Pendulum Monsters from my Extra Deck to my hand!" Yuya added Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon and Performapal Skullcrobat Joker to his hand. "Next I summon out Skullcrobat!"
The colorful Jester reappeared onto Yuya's field.
"You fool, with Cracking Dragon's effect, you'll lose!" The villain shouted as his dragon let out a giant howl of wind towards Yuya's field.
"I don't think so! I send my Performapal Rain Goat from my hand to the grave! Now this stops the damage!" Yuya sent the card to his grave from his hand, as the Rain Goat which looked like a huge blue coat came and covered Yuya from the effect damage.
"Even if you protect yourself, you monster still loses points." The villain stated.

"Maybe so, but because I summoned Joker, I get to add a Performapal, Odd-Eyes, or Magician Pendulum Monster to my hand. I'll add Performapal Partnaga to my hand!" Yuya stated as he grabbed a card from his deck and added it to his hand.
Yuya took a card in his hand and placed it in his duel disk, "I activate the Spell Performance Hurricane! I can return cards to your hand up to the number of "Performapals" I control. I control one, so I return the Spell Ransom Lair to your hand." Joker took a bow in front of everybody before jumping up into the air and spinning around, creating a tornado that blew away the spell back to his opponent's hand.
"With that out of way, Yuya can Pendulum Summon as many monsters as he wants." Dennis mentioned.
"I now reset the Pendulum Scale with Scale 1 Monkeyboard and Scale 8 Odd-Eyes Unicorn!." Yuya declared as he placed the Pendulum cards in his left and right most Spell/Trap Zones.

"Monkeyboard's Pendulum effect activates. Once per turn, I can add a Level 4 or lower 'Performapal' monster from my Deck to my hand." I add Performapal Jammershark!" He showed the card momentarily before continuing.
"Now I'm allowed to summon monsters from Levels 2 to 7!" Yuya exclaimed raising his arm up high, "Swing far, Pendulum! Carve the arc of victory! My monsters are ready… TO SWING INTO ACTION!"
The portal formed between the pillars, and from them emerged three beams of light. The light burst from hitting the ground, revealing Jammershark, a hammerhead with jamming antennas on each side of it's head, Partnaga, a red and yellow snake with a gloved hand on the end of its tail, and a familiar dragon.
"Jam it up, Performapal Jammershark!" A hammerhead with jamming antennas on each "Lend a helping hand, Performapal Partnaga!" "And turn up the heat, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Yuya introduced his monsters.

The Pendulum Summon wowed all of Yuya's friends, but his opponent, however, narrowed his eyes.
"And how do you plan to finish me off here!?" He retorted.
"You'll see. First off, I'll use Performapal Partnaga's ability!" Yuya called out as Partnaga extended and grabbed hold of both Odd-Eyes and the other Performapals, "When Partnaga is summoned, one monster I control gains 300 ATK for each Performapal monster I have out. That's both itself, Skullcrobat, and Jammershark, so that's 900 ATK going straight toward Odd-Eyes!"
Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon (ATK 2500→3400)
Like an unraveling scroll, Yuya saw his path to victory perfectly. "Those draws were just what I needed", he thought, looking to the unicorn from the corner of his eye. "Performapal Odd-Eyes Unicorn's Pendulum Effect can increase the ATK of an attacking Odd-Eyes monster by the ATK of a Performapal monster. If I combine that with the effects of Nightmare Knight and Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, I'll have enough damage to win the duel. All right, here I go!"
"You're not going anywhere! By sending Hacking Virus to the graveyard and declaring 1 Extra Deck Type like Pendulum, monsters on your field who have the type can't attack and lose their effects!"
Yuya took two steps back while seeing his monsters engulfed in an electrical field stripping them of their power. "What?"
"Without their effects, Yuya won't be able to take out this guy and win the duel." Sora said.
"He's completely trapped with no other options, looks like it's game over for him." Shay added.
"Are they right? Is there no way I can win? I guess it really is over, so maybe I should just give up now." Yuya thought.
"Now Yuya, you should know better that an Entertainer should never lose hope even when things seem bleak." A familiar voice said.
Yuya turned around as he saw his father and mother along with Skip and the three kinds in the arena stands. "Dad?" Yuya shouted in question.
"Your father's right Yuya!" Another familiar voice shouted.
Yuya turned around once again and noticed Declan on the other side of the arena stands. "Declan?" Yuya shouted again in question.
"For as long as I've known, you never give up or lose hope even if the duel isn't swinging in your favor. Because I know every time you'll find a way to pull through and win. Now take this guy down and win!" Declan stated.
"Better watch your mouth Akaba because after I get through with Sakaki, I'm going after you!' said the mysterious figure.
"Oh no you're not!" said Yuya. Cause just like Declan said, I never give up even when my opponent told me to, or I knew I was on the ropes and just hanging by a thread because in the end I'd always pulled off a miracle. Yuya thought.
The pendulum swung once more.
Yuya gasped. In his mind's eye, the pendulum illuminated a warrior. A cybernetic dragonic warrior who desired to be made real.
The teen's eyes narrowed. "I see. I see! Everybody! This will be the final turn!"
"Is that so? Then prove it!" The man shouted.
"Oh I will!" He raised his right hand as it glowed with blue light. "Appear, the entertainment circuit that connects to the future!" A bolt of blue lightning shot out of his hand and hit the sky, creating the Link portal.
Everyone gasped. "Wha-?!"
The enemy's eyes widened. That's-!"
"Arrowheads confirmed!" Yuya shouted. "The summoning conditions are two or more Effect Monsters. I set Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, Performapal Skullcrobat Joker, and Performapal Partnaga in the Link Arrows!" Yuya's monsters turned into whirlwinds of energy and entered the top, bottom-left, and bottom-right arrows. A pulse of energy erupted from the circuit. "Circuit combine! Link Summon! Appear! Link-3! Odd-Eyes Cylancer!"
The monster that emerged from the portal was a cybernetic dragonic humanoid warrior who wore a red and beige plate armor lined with blue over his chest, upper legs, and upper arms. He wore a helmet that looked and shaped like Odd-Eyes's head lined with golden data streams. The warrior wielded a great lance in the form of a pendulum in his right hand as he stood in the Extra Monster Zone.

"H-He Link Summoned!" His opponent said in shock.
Everyone else gasped in surprise.
He has a new Monster?!" Sylvio exclaimed in surprise. "How does he always do it?!"
""Hooray! We managed to bring it out!" Yugo cheered.
"Nice job, Yuya!" Yuto smiled.
"Let's finish this!" Yuri shouted.
His opponent slack-jawed at the warrior in front of him. "N-No matter! That monster's still nothing compared to mine!" He yelled.
"You think so?" Yuya asked.
"What?!"
"Odd-Eyes Cylancer's effect activates! If it is Link Summoned using a Pendulum Monster as material, I can select one face-up card on your field, like Solidarity and negate its effects!" "Go Cryptic Cancellation!" Yuya explained. The Link Monster pointed his lance towards the Spell, and then released a stream of blue energy. The energy struck the Spell as its colors turned gray, symbolizing that it lost its effects.

"Battle!" Yuya exclaimed. "Odd-Eyes Cylancer, attack Basilisk! The warrior leaped into the air.
"At this moment, I activate Odd-Eyes Unicorn's Pendulum Effect! Once per turn, when an "Odd-Eyes" Monster I control declares an attack, I can target a "Performapal" Monster on my field and add its attack to that Monster's attack until the Battle Phase's end! Of course, I choose to add Jammershark's attack to Cylancer's own attack!"

"Not only that, I'm activating Odd-Eyes Cylancer's other effect! When it attacks a monster, I can shuffle a Pendulum Monster from my Extra Deck back into my Deck. Then, until my next Standby Phase, Cylancer gains attack points equal to that monster's attack points! I return Odd-Eyes to my Deck!" The pendulum-shaped weapon glowed blue, while at the same time the warrior's body was surrounded by an aura of the same color

"Now his monster's stronger!" Crow said in surprise. "With a difference of 3300, Yuya will win!"
"No, he won't!" The enemy declared. "When your monster attacks, by banishing Hacking Virus from my graveyard, I can redirect and force your monster to attack another monster I control, like Cracking Dragon!"
Roko Basilisk disappeared and in its place was now Cracking Dragon.
"That's pointless! Cylancer's attack points are still higher than Cracking Dragon's!" Shay said, confused.
"Sora then looked at the opponent's field and noticed his face-down. "Oh no! He's luring Yuya into a trap." Sora stated.
"Your little friend is right! I activate the Quick-Play Spell Card Limiter Removal! This card doubles the attack of all Machine-type Monsters on my field until the End Phase, but destroys them during the end of my turn! And thanks to Hacking Virus's effect, you have no choice, but to battle Cracking Dragon!"
Following his words, his three monsters were enveloped in a bluish aura, while at the same time Cracking Dragon grew larger.

"Submit before my power!" The man exclaimed. "Go, Cracking Dragon! Destroy Yuya Sakai's Monster and finish this! Traffic Blast!"
The mechanical dragon opened its mouth, and blasted a massive inferno of blue flames aimed right towards Yuya's Link Monster.
"Sorry, but I have no intention of losing!" Yuya exclaimed. "I activate my Jammershark's effect! When one of my monsters attacks, and you activate a Spell, Trap, or Monster effect, I can send the top card of my deck to the graveyard and if that card shares the same type as yours, Jammershark cancel's it out.
"Are you for real?" The enemy spoke with a derisive tone. "You're so desperate that you're willing to rely on luck of all things to get out of this bind? That's pathetic.
"I wouldn't say so." Yuya said with a smile. "After all, that's one of the many factors that make Duels so exhilarating. Plus, you should know that those who are strong determine their luck! Let's do this! Draw!"
Upon checking out his drawn card, Yuya smirked and showed it to his opponent.
"It looks like my gamble paid off." Yuya stated. "Since I drew the Spell Hippo Carnival, I can send it to the graveyard and activate Jammershark's effect to negate your Limiter Removal!"
Jammershark released a wave of high-pitch frequency which cause the opponent's spell to malfunction and lose its effect.

"Time to end this!" Yuya exclaimed. "Go, Odd-Eyes Cylancer! Spiral Cybernetic Lance!" The warrior held his lance, as blue energy in the form of data wrapped around it. He then pointed his weapon towards the dragon's blast and cut straight through it, slashing Cracking Dragon in half. The monster exploded and the shockwave from it blew the mysterious figure cross the field.

"Nice try, but you weren't able to finish me off." The mysterious figure stated.
"It's time for a grand finale to my act!" Yuya shouted as a ball or black and purple energy appeared in the center of the stage.
"What the heck is that?!" The figure shouted.
"I activate the effect of Performapal Nightmare Knight's effect in my graveyard!"
"Eh?" The figure let out in concern.
"By banishing this card in my graveyard, all players who took damage this turn take 1000 points of damage!" Yuya shouted with a wide smile as the ball of dark energy became unstable.
"What?!" Yuya's opponent shouted.
"Alright everyone, countdown with me!" Yuya shouted.
"3…2…1… Explode!" Yuya shouted snapping his fingers as the energy exploded, causing a beautiful purple and black light to consume the field and sent a huge shockwave right towards his opponent once again, causing his life points to drop to zero.

"All right! Yuya won!" His friends cheer in excitement.
"Yuya, I knew you could do it." Zuzu said.
"I won the duel, so answer me! Who are you, where do you come from, and who sent you here?! Yuya demanded as he looked down at his opponent.
I'm work for a little group called the Arbiters, and we come straight from the Link Dimension." He answered before he abruptly used his hands to jump back to his feet.
"EH!?"
Everyone except Declan with wide, blinking eyes before turning to stare at the invader.
"A fifth dimension?" Yuya repeated.
"Shay!" Serena said. "There are only four dimensions!"
"That is what all think, but I can assure you my homeland does exist."
"As for whom I work for, why don't you try to go to my dimension? Perhaps you'll find the answers." The man told Yuya before pressing the screen of his Duel Disk, teleporting him away from the arena.
"Wait!" Yuya yelled, but he was too late. The invader has already disappeared. He looked around the arena, seeing all the damage that's been caused by the "Arbiters". He looked at his Deck and then at his friends. "I guess it's time for me to Swing Into Action!" He declared.
