… Osoro's brain froze up. For a second, nothing registered in properly, not in or head or around her. Because, while her head was already not in the right state, the world decided to throw her a curveball.

"Um…" A soft voice brought her back to reality, and she focused on the girl in front of her that was still bright red.

Now, instead of being frozen, her brain went on haywire and she found herself doing the most natural thing. She got angry. "The hell! I don't even know you! What are you talking about?"

The middle-school-looking-girl actually flinched and froze up for a moment, and then turned pale. "Sh-Shoot I didn't even say my name!" She exclaimed, legitimately sounding distressed and embarrassed.

"That's not the problem here!" Osoro shouted-despite the fact that it was a problem in this scenario. She glared harshly at the complete stranger. "What the hell are you some kind of homo? Or are you just making fun of me?"

For a second the girl froze up at the questions like if she was caught red handed, making Osoro now sure that this girl was just messing with her. "No, I'm not trying to-!" But she already didn't want to hear another word out of this girl's mouth.

"Just stay the hell away from me! You've had your fun so get lost!" She wasn't going to just let this girl make a joke out of her-especially not with this damn ringing in her ear!

"I swear I'm being serious!"

"I said to knock it off! Go bug someone else with your crap!" Even after slamming her hand down on the sink-causing a loud rattle and bang sound-the girl wouldn't buzz off.

"But I really do mean it! I-!"

No longer having patience just turned her back to the wacko. "Forget it, I'm out of here-"

"Wait!" Once again, the pipsqueak reached out and tugged her arm. But this time she didn't let go.

Feeling sick from the touch, Osoro tugged her arm out of her grasp. "Fuck off you little-!"

But the girl once again grabbed at her, only this time she used both her hands to grab each of Osoro's arms as she looked up at her with those big eyes. "I'm really not trying to mess with you! I really do like you and am worried!"

Osoro hated it. She hated those big cute eyes begging her to listen to her despite how much she wanted to get away. She hated how this girl was trying to use that little girly voice to make Osoro listen to her nonsense. Now furious, she shoved the girl off of her, making her stumble back and almost fall over. "Just stay away from me you freak!" She hated girls that said nonsense.

She stormed out of the bathrooms. She heard a loud "Shidesu-Senpai" but ignored it. She wanted to cool off, and she ended up getting more upset than before.

. . . . . . . . . . . .

"Boss, you ok?"

Feeling worse than before, Osoro didn't even bother looking at Hayanari and just gave him a quiet "Shut up" before taking a seat against the wall. The familiar hiss of the incinerator behind her was comforting as always, but it took a while for the familiar chatter to start up among the guys. As much as she claimed to hate the nose it was a nice distraction from everything else in her life trying to fuck it up. 'First that damn dream and now that bathroom weirdo.'

She leaned her head forward and closed her eyes for a bit, feeling the stress and irritation draining it out of her. Letting the surrounding noise around her flood her brain rather than that bothersome ringing that has only gotten worse.

"Gaku you're hogging the manga again!" She heard Hokuto complain.

"Shut up, Dairo brought them for everyone."

"Yeah but you're a slow as hell reader."

"Like you're any faster Hoku."

"Are we going to the arcade again after school?" Hayanari asked, seemingly ignoring the squabble close to him.

"We've been going a lot, maybe we should just drop by a ramen shop or something." Dairoku answered.

"Oh, then can someone spot me?" Gaku perked up.

"Stop trying to mooch off of Hayanari." Hokuto complained.

"I didn't even ask him specifically."

"Yeah but you always end up getting money from him."

"That's just cause Haya's a nice guy."

"Hayanari, you should try saying no to Gaku more." Dairoku commented.

"...But then it'd be awkward if there was one person not eating." Hayanari weakly defended himself.

Osoro let out a sigh at their antics, even with her eyes closed they still managed to bug her.

"Guys, pipe down. I'll pay for everyone if it calms you all down." Umeji finally stepped in.

"Really Ume?"

"You really don't have to-"

"Hayanari, if you keep pitching in for people you're wallets going to die fast. Just accept the offer." With that Osoro heard someone take a seat next to her and she looked over to see it was Umeji with a concerned look again. "Here ya go boss." He offered her a can of orange soda from one of the vending machines.

Osoro stared at it for a moment before accepting the offer-she was wondering where he went off to. She took a sip of the fizzy sugar water and felt her head cool down a bit. "You scold Hayanari about his spending but here you are buying others things offhandedly."

For a split second, Osoro saw that sheepish look in his eyes she used to see in him a lot before his whole "delinquent transition''." But it was quickly gone and replaced by a calm expression. "I have more money to spare than Hayanari does so it's no problem."

"I didn't see you as the bragging type Umeji." Hokuto commented.

"You know that's not what I meant."

"Could'of fooled us." Gaku chimed with a grin.

Then the conversation became light hearted as everyone talked about what they wanted to order, now that someone else was paying for them.

Osoro pretended not to listen to them as she took sips of her soda, feeling less stressed but still unable to escape the ringing in her ears. 'The hell if with my head today.'

"What about you Boss?" She looked back up and saw all their eyes looking at her expectedly. Gaku continued. "What're you gonna get?"

… She still never understood why they all kept looking at her like that, like if they were hanging off of her every word. "Well I'm paying for myself so not much."

After everyone whining that she didn't need to pay for herself, Osoro just declared that they should get to class-because if they lingered any longer the couselor'll get annoying later.

. . . . . . . . . . . .

During lunch, they all came back to their usual spot by the incinerator. As usual, everyone pretty much bought food from the school cafeteria or from a convenient store. The only one with an actual bento was Gaku-as usual he was a little embarrassed to open it in front of everyone.

They were all eating and the boys chattered around her, and the incinerator continued to hiss. But, the hours in class had set that ringing to a higher volume and she was beginning to feel dizzy from it. It wasn't like it was in her ears, it was in her head and it wouldn't shut up. It was a low but noticeable vibration in her head that made it pound a little. 'I'd see the nurse about it if I knew she'd be any help.' As far as Osoro was concerned, every adult in this school was just out to get her-not that she really blamed them. But she did scorn them for it.

"Hey Boss?" With a mouthful of red bean bread, she glanced over to Umeji that sat next to her. "You know I… I really wouldn't mind paying for ramen later. I'm paying for everyone else anyways so."

As much as it'd be nice to hold on to her money she was set in her ways. No getting handouts from others, cause then you just turn into a bad guy when you don't want to return the favor. And there's no way she'd ever be able to return it with how crummy her allowance is. "Don't bug about it, I'm paying for myself and that's that." She said firmly and went back to her "meal."

Umeji then went quiet in that way that she could tell he wanted to say more, but that he also wanted to listen to her order. She'll just let him stay that way, he always ends up dropping it eventually anyways.

"Hey!" Both their attentions snapped up as Gaku's voice suddenly got aggressive. They watched him get up to his feet followed by the rest of them. "What are you doing here pipsqueak?"

Once Osoro saw who Gaku was talking to, she felt herself get even more annoyed and got up to her feet too-standing behind the guys.

The girl looked even smaller when standing by a bunch of guys either around the same height as Osoro or taller. She held her hands together in front of her in a fidgeting motion as she looked up at them. Those big doey eyes of hers skimmed over everyone before they landed on Osoro, and Osoro narrowed her own eyes harshly at her. She was still pissed over what happened earlier.

The girl stiffened up at the glare and looked back up at Gaku-hovering over her for an answer. She looked like she was thinking something over in her head, and Gaku was ready to bark at her again but then she took in a deep breath before looking him in the eyes. "My name is Harada Usagi, and I'm from class 1-1! And I've come here to have a peaceful talk with Shidesu Osoro-Senpai!" She spoke loudly and quickly-like if she had practiced that line.

While the others were a little stunned and confused by her declaration. Osoro was just losing her patience. "Oi," she stepped past the guys and stood in front of them-facing the small girl head on, "I thought I told you to stay the hell away from me." She said lowly.

Osoro noticed she stiffened up more and began to fidget more with her hands, but looked her dead in the eyes regardless. "Yeah but… with how things were left I-"

"If the Boss said she doesn't want to talk to you, then that's that." Umeji interjected. "Now get lost kid."

The girl pressed her lips down together tightly, but didn't look away from Osoro. "I just-"

"We said get lost, don't make us repeat ourselves." Dairoku threatened, and Osoro could hear him grip his bat.

The girl looked even smaller as her brows scrunched up in frustration. Osoro didn't like the idea of relying on the intimidation of others, but it looked like they were having more of an effect on her than Osoro could have made alone-without actually getting violent.

Finally, the girl's eyes dropped to the floor and she sighed out dejectedly. Just when Osoro felt like she was done, she snapped back up her head to look Osoro dead in the eyes. There was still no falter in those brown eyes. "I meant what I said in the bathroom, Shidesu-Senpai!" She declared before walking off.

And walk off she did. Like six feet. She then went and took a seat on the other side of the entrance to the incinerator.

"Do you think you're being funny or something kid?" Gaku was the first to break the stunned silence. However, the girl just held her knees up to her chin and ignored him. "When we say scram we mean a hell of a lot more than that!" Gaku's yelling only made her look away at him in a way children did when they were pouting over being scolded.

Gaku and the others were getting annoyed, but none as much as Osoro. She felt something in her burn as she walked over to the girl-none of the others daring to follow after her. She stood over the small girl-looking even smaller sitting on the grass. She finally looked up with those eyes, and Osoro felt herself get even more annoyed. Her eyes were both stubborn and pleading.

She knew no good would come out of actually picking a fight with a schoolmate-especially one that looked like a child. Besides, as far as Osoro was concerned, this girl was still just trying to mess with her for her own dumb reasons. So, this is just more of that dumb plan to get a reaction out of her. Knowing girls like her, she was certain that the second her or one of the guys lay a hand on the pipsqueak she was gonna go running to the counselor and principal about what happened.

And there was no way in hell she was going to fall into whatever trap those big innocent eyes had planned. So, with as much blithe as she could muster, Osoro told her, "Mope all you want, I'm not giving you the time of day. Get that through your damn head." With that, she walked back over and took her usual seat.

The guys lingered for a moment, looking unsure of what to do, but they eventually followed suit. They sent one last snarl at the girl before silently sitting back down to eat. Lunch was quiet that day, and it only made the ringing more annoying.

(AN) Ok, so I feel like a lot didn't really happen in this chapter, but I know I post at like a snails pace so I figured either some now or more really later. I don't know, what do you think. My biggest struggle right now is just trying to remember all the delinquents' names!
