We can see a bullhead slowly descending on the landing platform of Beacon Academy. A famous school where teens training to be a hunters to hunt the creatures of darkness. School's reputation is very big in the planet of Remnant. A lot of famous hunters have graduated from this very school.
The doors of Bullhead slowly opened and allows the passengers get out, which in this case happens to two identical teens. We already made the explanation for them.
"Damn, this place looks like a sci-fi Hogwarts." Dante said with a whistle. Red demon looked very impressed and Dante was hardly impressed. Guy can run faster than lightning, hold a Goliath like it's nothing. Because of his out of world feats, he was very hard to impressed. Except if you do something cool with Pizza.
Vergil raised an eyebrow at his brother remark. "I would never have guessed that you are aware of Hogwarts. Only thing you read is those magazines with female humans posing." He said. While he was impressed, he didn't show it. Classic Vergil.
Dante shrugged. "Couldn't found with Faunus in it. Plus I completed some job back in the day for a bookstore owner. He gave me some books to read." He said while checking out the huge statue in the yard.
"So you read some actual books." Older brother said/asked. Little surprise in his voice that can't be heared unless you know him so well.
"C'mon bro, what do you take me for? I can do different things too" Younger brother answered, big grin on his face.
Vergil was about the answer but a throat clearing catched their attention. Brothers turned to faced a woman, probably in her thirties. Her light blonde hair neatly tied back. Sharp expression on her face and she carries a riding crop.
"Are you the ones who were supposed be here twenty minutes ago?" She asked harshly. She was waiting here for them for a while from the looks of it.
She carefully observed the brothers. Red one was giving a calm, chilling and uncaring aura while his twin was radiating "don't fuck with me" aura. They reminded her another pair of siblings.
Dante whistled. "If I knew this was the welcoming commute, I would've wake up sooner." He said, checking her out, not so secretly.
Comment caught blonde woman off guard, her face turned into surprise for a while before turning into angry. "Young man, show some respect. I'm your elder and professional hunteress...
She was about the scold Dante but Vergil had enough of his brother and this annoying woman, so he cut her off. "Who are you?" He asked, more harshly than woman.
"And you said hanging up the phone was rude." Dante mumbled.
"We were called here for demon problem, not to get lectured by some person. So explain yourself." Vergil demanded. Sending her glare that send shivers to her spine.
"I--I'm Professor Goodwitch, I'm here to bring you to Ozpin." She explained while trying to maintain her posture. She seemed to taken back by Vergil's behavior.
"Well you can lead me anywhere you want babe." Dante said with a wink and grin on his face. Still checking her out. Causing Vergil hit him on the head with sheath of Yamato.
"Dante, stop this foolishness and focus. We are on a job." Vergil said, pinching his nose while shaking his head.
Regaining her posture, Goodwitch started walking. "Follow me." She said while wondering what this time Ozpin has brought on them. But she can say brothers were most unique twins that she ever met.
Trip to Ozpin's office was silent with Dante throwing some comments about school and Goodwitch, which were very obscene for her liking. Despite their personalities Glynda could tell they were very dangerous. How they carry themselves or even their figures. She heard the Legend of Sparda, I mean who hasn't? When Ozpin told her that the sons of the said hero was coming to school for their demon problem, she was shocked. Firstly from learning that Sparda was real deal and secondly from that his sons was living in Vale. Of course Ozpin asked her the keep this information to herself. She wasn't allowed to share, not even to twins.
Vergil was observing the Professor. Not the way Dante was doing of course. He was looking her stance, weapon and searching for weaknesses. Enemy or not Vergil liked to have some advantage over other people. He also knew that, despite his shameless flirt, his brother doing the same thing. Dante could act like an idiot most of the time but Vergil knew that his brother was very cunning too.
Meanwhile Dante, done with his checking out, was thinking about the job and what kinda demon they could be facing. Not that he was worrried. There were very few demons who can give a real challange to sons of Sparda.
"So, what kinda demons you have encountered so far?" He asked while leaning the side of the elevator. His grin vanished, now supporting a very serious expression.
Goodwitch was again taken back but this time from how serious Dante looked. "Well there were some hell calinas and Empusa as Headmaster put it I believe." She answered with a business tone.
Vergil frowned. Those demons were just some grunts. And that means there was also a leader which means a higher demon. Looking at his brothers face, Vergil understand that Dante knew it too. So he decided to speak up.
"You made a good call about callling us here. They probably have a leader and if he came around, he would slaughter the whole school and nobody would've able to stop him." Vergil said very bluntly. As if the whole slaughter of school wouldn't bother him. Which probably wouldn't.
Unlike Vergil, Dante and Goodwitch held a worried look. Both for the students and innocents. Dante was always liked humans, sure there were a lot of baddies but which race doesn't have them. But Vergil kinda doesn't like any race, wheter be human or faunus.
The trio finally were able the reach the office of Headmaster. Seriously, how long an elevator road could take? It was placed at the top of the tower. Very large and gracefully organized. A clock theme going on. Headmaster himself was sitting on his chair behind his huge ass desk, sipping his coffe.
"Flasy." Dante said in apparition. Looking around.
Ozpin chuckled a bit. "Thank you Dante. Now if you may take a seat." He said while gesturing the two chair. Vergil sits like a proper person while Dante leaned back and placed his feet on the desk. Which earned him a smack from Professor Goodwitch. He lifted his feet while mumbling something inappropriate.
"I'm sure you know why you here." Ozpin started, again taking a sip from his coffee or whatever that is. "Demons were start appearing very constantly lately. We didn't encountered any live or die situation but I'm afraid that when we will, we won't be ready."
Vergil nodded. "Of course you won't. I will be blunt."
"So be yourself?" Dante asked with a grin. Annoying his brother. Vergil sighed and continued.
"You won't stand a chance against a higher demon or worse, a demon king. We will locate the hell gate and destroy it. If we came across the real higher being, we will eliminate them." He finished. He was also observing the Headmaster. The man didn't have any ill manner against them but things could change.
"Exactly, so let's talk about dough old man. Need to feed you know." Dante stated. Also obversing the old man.
"Like I said yesterday you will be paid greatly. Also if you can eliminate the threat, you'll get a bonus." Ozpin explained. While never breaking the eye contact with twins.
"Now this I like. Those toilets back home needs flushing." Dante says. Making Vergil nod not so eagerly. Also leaving Goodwitch little disgusted.
"Also I think you will need a guide while you search school grounds. So I've taken liberty of calling a team to assist you." Ozpin said. While Dante looks uncaring, Vergil's eyes hardened.
"Are you implying that we are incapable and will need help? They will be only getting our way." Vergil said in a colder tone than normal.
"I'm on my bro with this one." Dante nodded in an agreement. Twins usually leave humans or Faunus out of their job because they will be out of harm way and second, they will only be obstacle to twins from getting serious. Even Vergil is carefull about getting serious amoung normal people.
Ozpin shook his head no. "Absolutely not. I'm fully aware of your abilities and reputations. I even heard that Dante here, lifted a bullhead with his one hand and crush a Ursa pack. Plus I want to see my students what it is like to fight a demon." He explained calmly, as if he's not talking to two most powerful being in the Remnant. Heck when they reach their true power, you can even say universe.
"Fine but if they die, don't blame on us." Dante said. He still looked uncaring but you can see some worry in his eyes. Vergil didn't have any worry though, only irritation.
With perfect timing, elevator doors opened and relaved four girls for plot reasons. Dante's eyes lit up. While Vergil looked with very unimpressive.
First one is a girl with long, wild blond hair. She was dressed in a brown button up jacket, leather skirt with dark pants underneath and boots. She was armed with gold gauntlets.
Other one is was a girl with long raven hair with cat bow on the top, which brothers immediately understand that she was a Faunus since she didn't neither felt like human or demon. She was armed with a katana which caused Vergil looked at her more than others.
Third one had a white hair tied back in ponytail with blue eyes. You can seriously confuse her for twins sister if she wasn't famous. She had a proud, loyal aura around her. She was staring at them as if she was evaluating them, which probably she was. This one piked Dante's interest more than others since he was locked on her.
And the last one was younger than other three. Wearing a black and red dress. Short black hair with red tips. She had silver eyes which peeked Vergil's interest since he read about them.
Dante got up and walked to white haired, taking her hand in his and kissed it with a shit eating grin. "Hello angel. Name's Dante, what's yours?" He asked politely. emphasis on politely.
Girl was caught off guard and blushed furiously. "We--Weiss Schnee." She managed say. Even Goodwitch was taken back since he direct flirted with her. Clearly not expecting something like that form Dante. Of course Vergil knew what his brother was doing but decided not intervene.
"Are you the team that was assigned to guide us in school? Name's Vergil by the way" He said with a very emotionless face.
Younger girl stepped forward with a beaming smile. "That's right. My name is Ruby Rose. This is my sister Yang." She said while pointing at the blonde. Said blonde winked at twins which clearly was ignored. "This is Blake." She pointed at Catwoman with a katana. She made an eye contact with Vergil and two of them looked each other for a while but after that just nodded each other. "And you already know Weiss." said girl was still blushing while Dante was looking at her with the same shit eating grin. "We are team RWBY." Ruby finished with a pose, which was again ignored.
"Team RWBY here one of the best teams in Beacon. We think that watching you doing your work can gain them a great deal of experience and knowledge. You can't possibly kill every demon out there so we decided the have demon hunting classes as well. Staring with this mission." Goodwitch explained.
Weiss finally regain her posture, looked confused. "Demons?" She couldn't but ask. She knew they were real but never thought she would be going to hunt one.
Dante clapped his hands. "Why yes beautiful, me and my bro here..."
"My bro and I." Vergil said. With a fucking grin.
Dante looked at him with an annoyed look and continued. "Me and my bro here pros at demon hunting. Good old Ozzy here hired us to do some cleaning around here. Tag along and you can learn some awesome stuff." He little got close to her. "About demons and me." He finished with a wink. Causing the heiress go red again.
"Tha--That's inappropriate." She tried sound intimidating but her red face made it hard. That's why Dante only chuckled in response.
Yang stepped forward. "Well looking forward to working with you studs." She said with a seductive tone. But unfortunately she didn't get a reaction out of twins. Vergil didn't like flirting and Dante was focused on someone else.
"Well then welcome to team STYLISH." Dante said in a rather cheerful tone.
All of them, including Vergil raised eyebrows. "We did not agreed on a team name brother." He said.
"Well we just did. Now Let's Rock."
Hello again. (Phyrra?) . Anyway I'm back with another chapter. Thanks for your rewievs and It might look short for waiting a nearly week but I'm taking it slow and trying to not fill the story with forced dialogue or scene. Also I tried to not be fast forward. See you again soon.
