Annie: And we are back with a new chapter/story!

SB/Kierra: Thanks to all who read and reviewed and/or just read the first chapter/story!

Annie: This one was inspired by 'The Fisher King' episodes, both part one and part two and this takes place between season 8 and 9. Plus I want to say thank you to one of two guest reviewers that left their name. 'Nichole' I want to thank you for reminding me that identical twins are the same gender and fraternal twins are mostly but not always the opposite gender, BUT I looked it up after I read your review and it is possible for a set of identical twins to be the opposite gender; it's rare like 1% rare but it can happen when a fertilized egg 'loses' one of the copies of the Y chromosome when it is dividing into two embryos in very early development. The resulting babies are then male (XY) and female (XO). The normal genetic make-up of girls is XX an XO baby is outwardly female BUT her cells only have one copy of the X chromosome. This, according to what I found, is called 'Turner Syndrome' so that is what Spencer and my OC are plus I am using my artistic license here, and if you look at most of my stories then you will see I have identical twins that are boy/girl that is just how I write my twins out.

SB/Kierra: Sorry for her rant, she wanted to get that out and off her chest. Anyway…... We don't own Criminal Minds, just our OC's.

Annie: Enjoy!

It was their 2 weeks off, David Rossi was going to his cabin in the woods, Derek Morgan was going to Jamaica, Alex Blake was going to be with her husband, Aaron 'Hotch' Hotchner was taking his son Jack, his girlfriend Beth, and younger brother Sean, who was in town for the 2 weeks to Florida, and Spencer Reid was going to Vegas, while Jennifer 'JJ' Jareau and Penelope Garcia were staying behind.

"I hope nothing happens this time." JJ whispered to Garcia as everyone left the BAU.

"I agree, Elle almost died on us back then." She replied as JJ nodded in agreement, not knowing they had jinxed themselves again like the last time.

It was a week and a half later and they all, except Spencer Reid got a note or a package. Derek Morgan was surprised to get a large envelope that contained a home-made missing child poster. The poster was for a young girl named Charisma about 5-7 years old who had gone missing while playing in the park with her brother and some other children. Alex Blake got a key and a note which read 'The youngest knows the truth, the key will unlock what the youngest keeps hidden.'

JJ got a heart-shaped locket, Hotch got a note that read 'Connected since birth, one twin disappears while the other remains, the one who stayed will keep looking for the other, the youngest knows the truth, the newest female holds the key, join the youngest before it is too late, or he will be gone and they will be forever gone.'

David Rossi got the head of someone who was clearly dead, with a Vegas Police Department badge and a note as well that read 'You must hurry to find the youngest or this will be their fate.'

Hotch apologized to his family for needing to leave but his family understood, his note that was more of a riddle sounded like his youngest team member's life was in grave danger and he needed to make sure everything was alright; Alex also apologized to her husband who understood a friend was in danger and she had to go.

Once they were back, they compared what they got.

"It's 'the fisher king' all over again!" Garcia exclaimed as she threw her hands up into the air with a look of shock and horror on her face.

"The who?" Rossi and Blake asked in unison.

"The fisher king, he sent everyone a clue to a puzzle that we had to solve and find a missing girl. Gideon got a head and a baseball card, Reid got a key, JJ got a butterfly, Elle got arrested since she was at the end of the blood trail that leads to a headless body, and I got a phone call." Hotch said.

"Who is Elle?" Blake asked.

"Before you took over for Emily Prentiss, she took over for SSA Elle Greenway." JJ told her as she nodded.

"So, the head Gideon got belonged to the headless body?" Rossi asked.

"That was in Jamaica where I was with Elle." Morgan added.

"I went down there to help him clear Elle before we came back here, the fisher king had hacked Garcia's personal laptop and got into the FBI system and found out where we were to send us the packages and notes." Hotch said.

"The first two deaths, the man who was beheaded and the man who killed him, lead us to a box that told us the rules of the game we were about to begin." Garcia explained.

"I sent Elle home after we held a press conference, which broke the rules and the unsub shot Elle; she nearly died and we realized that the clues pointed to a book." Hotch explained.

"By then we knew we had to find a female that had been missing for two years, she had been adopted when her mother and brother died in a fire, she thought her father died in the fire as well, but he hadn't, he had been badly burned." Garcia said.

"It turned out that the unsub was the girl's father and he had been at Bennington Sanitarium, where Reid's mother is and the unsub knew his mother." JJ added.

"Reid had his mother flown out here, who has a fear of flying and she helped us find the unsub who had a bomb strapped to his chest." Morgan said.

"Morgan, Reid, and I went to confront him and Reid saw the bomb, but we didn't since we were behind him so we didn't see it nor did we understand why he told us to go back downstairs. After it exploded, we found her in the basement and the key Reid had unlocked the chains and she was reunited with her family." Hotch explained.

"Reid took his mother back to Las Vegas and he told us that she liked flying better with him at her side since she hated flying without him." JJ said as they finished telling the story of the 'fisher king' to Rossi and Blake.

"So now what?" Blake asked after a few moments.

"Since it sounds like Reid is in trouble we should try and get a hold of him and see what he knows about all of this." Hotch said.

"I can get him on a video call." Garcia said as Hotch nodded.

"Do it." He told her as they all waited in the conference room.

"Uhm. Hi?" Spencer said as his face appeared on the screen of the conference room's monitor, he was confused as to why they were all together at the BAU and looking so serious like they had a case.

"It's the 'fisher king' again but different, Spence." JJ told him, knowing he would understand.

"Okay, so who got what?" he asked them, he clearly understood and listened to them as they told him who got what.

"So, what do you know about this?" Hotch asked him, once they finished.

"Well, the unsub was right; I do know the truth. I knew Charisma years ago but I haven't seen her in 25 years, since she went missing." He told them as he fiddled with something they could not see.

"Do you know her last name?" Rossi asked him.

"I do but it sounds like you guys have all the clues that tell you who she is." Spencer told them with a smirk on his face.

"We do?" Morgan asked making Reid laugh.

"If all we had to do was ask you about this woman, why was I given a key?" Blake asked.

"Here's what I think, you were given a key because where ever Charisma is, is locked and that key you have unlocks it, whatever it is." Reid explained.

"You aren't breaking the rules by telling us this?" Garcia asked him worried.

"No, I think since I am part of the problem and the solution, I can give you clues." He said as he showed them another locket, identical to the one JJ had gotten.

"Where did you get that?" JJ asked him.

"I've always had it. Did you ever open the one you got?" he answered/asked.

"Not yet." She replied with a shake of her head.

"Open it and see what it says." He told her and she did, inside was a picture of a little boy about 7 and a name, 'Spencer Walter Reid'

"Is the boy in the photo you?" Rossi asked when JJ passed the locket around so the others could see it.

"Yes, that one and this one, are part of a set of two." He replied.

"What is inside yours?" Hotch asked.

"I can't tell you that, it would be against the rules, Hotch." Reid said with a shake of his head and before he could say anything there was a knock at his hotel room door which he answered.

"What is it?" Rossi asked as he sat back down with a package as he frowned at it and he did not say anything to them as he opened the box.

"A box of cookies. Oh! Kara's Specialty Cookies!" Reid exclaimed as he revealed the cookies and ate one with a hum of content, clearly enjoying the cookie.

"Kara's Specialty Cookies?" JJ asked.

"Kara is a nickname of Charisma and she loved to bake things, she dreamed of opening her own bakery one day." Reid told them as he ate two more before he realized that they had a sleeping agent in them as well and that the unsub was inside his hotel room. The others knew it since they heard a noise as saw Reid looking at something or someone else in the room.

"You…You…bas…tered…" Reid forced out as he tried to stay awake.

"Thank you, now it's time for the twins to reunite." The unsub said as they watched Reid pass out.

"What did you do to him!" Hotch said angrily, knowing the unsub could hear them.

"Nothing, I just knocked him out, tick-tock, you better hurry, or the twins will die and you will never see them again." The unsub said, he stayed out of view and closed the laptop making the screen go dark.

"He said 'the twins' could he mean that Reid has a twin?" Morgan asked as everyone thought about it.

"It is possible, Garcia, dig up anything you can on Reid's childhood, see if you can find this 'Charisma'." Hotch ordered after a moment.

"On it sir!" Garcia said as she went to work, searching for a missing child named Charisma that lived in Las Vegas, Nevada about 25 years ago. "I found her!"

"What did you find?" Rossi asked, they all waited in the conference room as Garcia worked.

"A missing child report from Reid's hometown, dated 25 years ago. The name of the missing child is 'Charisma Lynnette Reid' and she disappeared on July 15, 1988. She and her twin brother Spencer Walter Reid had been playing at a local park, playing tag with some other kids that were there at the time she disappeared. The case has since gone cold, everyone one but Spencer believes her to be dead." Garcia explained as she pulled up the info on the screen.

"Then the 'twins' our unsub keeps referring to are Spencer and Charisma Reid." Blake said as the others agreed.

"Wheels up in ten." Hotch said as everyone left to get ready to save Spencer and his twin sister, the twin sister they only just learned he had.

They took the jet to Vegas and by using the clues they had, to find the next clue which was a note that read.

'Over the river and through the woods, to grandma's house, we go.'

The word 'grandma' was underlined so they looked up who had been the prime suspect in Charisma Reid's disappearance and learned about Thomas Huntington and that the police had searched his place and found nothing, they had even searched his childhood home and came up empty.

Garcia found that Thomas Huntington's grandmother lived in Vegas her whole life and left her place to her daughter and son-in-law, Thomas's parents, and she gave the address to the team and they went to the location and when they confronted him they realized that he was the unsub and got into a shoot-out with him and he was killed.

"Now we have to find Spencer and Charisma." Hotch said.

JJ found a box that had a ton of what looked like journals and one sat on the nightstand, all were written in some sort of code. Each sentence made sense but a whole page did not make sense. The most recent entry was not written in code.

'I fear, he has gone insane. He wants to do something but he will not tell me what it is. I think he has finally lost it after my 10th miscarriage (I've had 5 stillborns and 5 miscarriages in my 4th month of pregnancy). I think my health or the lack of it has played a part in the failed pregnancies. I know I do not look like I feel like I should, I think I am far too skinny to be healthy.'

JJ was shocked at what she read and took the book and the box of books out to the others and showed them what she found. As she did Blake tried the key, she had in every lock she could find inside and outside of the house until she came across the last one that looked like it led to the basement and it worked.

"I found the door the key unlocks!" Blake called out as they found her and followed her into the basement. In the basement, laying on the floor was Spencer and a female that they guessed to be his twin sister, Charisma, and they were both out cold. They called the paramedics to come and take the two to a hospital.

"Hello, agents. Your fellow agent, Dr. Spencer Reid is fine. We ran a few blood tests on both the two that were brought in. One test confirmed that the two are twins and the other showed that they both had at some point been drugged with a sedative. They just have to sleep off the effects and will be good as new." The doctor that came to speak to them said.

"I feel there is a 'but' coming." JJ said.

"You are right. I have waited for the day that the news that Charisma Reid would be found, I'm glad she is alive but she is no more than a skin-covered skeleton with how thin she is. It will take a good long time to get back to a proper weight, and will need a very strict diet; aside from that she is healthy as she can be and will need to get caught up-to-date on all the shots, she missed out on getting since her disappearance but that can be done once she has gained a decent amount of weight back." He explained to them as they nodded.

"Thank you." Hotch told him.

"Your welcome. I will explain this to both of them when they wake, which should be sometime tomorrow morning." The doctor said as they were led to the rooms they were in; Spencer was across the hall from his long-lost twin sister.

The next morning Spencer woke up and was confused, he knew he was in a hospital, but was confused about how he got there when the doctor walked in.

"Good morning, how are you feeling?" the doctor asked.

"I feel fine." Spencer replied as he sat up.

"Good. The drug you had been given only put you to sleep, and it has run its course and is no longer in your system. Your fellow agents brought you in yesterday afternoon along with your twin sister, she is in the room across the hall, by the way. Before I can let you see her, I need to tell you that she is very thin, a skin-covered skeleton. She will need to be on a very strict diet for a while. This is a dietary plan I wrote up for her to follow until her weight is back to where it should be for someone her age and height." The doctor told him as he handed him a few pieces of paper.

"Okay." Spencer said.

"Your fellow agents brought you a change of clothes for you and they are right here. I will be across the hall checking on your sister while you change." The doctor said as he pointed to the clothes as Spencer nodded.

Charisma was awake as well and looked up as the doctor entered her room.

"Good morning, my dear, how are you feeling?" he asked with a small smile.

"Fine." She replied.

"Good, the drug you had been given only put you to sleep, and it has run its course and is no longer in your system. You were brought in with your brother, he is across the hall changing his clothes and will be in momentarily. You are aware that you should not be this skinny correct?" he said.

"Yes." She replied.

"Good, you will need to be on a very strict diet for a while, to help you regain the weight you lost, I wrote your brother a dietary plan for you last night." He told her as she nodded.

"Kora?" Spencer asked as he came in.

"I will leave the two of you alone to catch up." The doctor said before he left the room.

"Karo." Charisma said as they hugged for the first time in years.

After a couple of hours Spencer looked up and saw his team entering the room, Charisma was resting, her head on his shoulder.

"I knew you would figure it out and find us." He said softly as they came in.

"How is she?" Hotch asked.

"She's good, skinny, but good. I have a lot of work to help her with, not just getting her weight back to normal, she has been there ever since she went missing. She had not set one foot outside that house in years." Spencer said as he ran a hand down her cheek, knowing that she was awake and spoke to her in code, which she answered in code.

"These journals are yours and are in the same code you just spoke in." JJ said as she realized something.

"Yes." Charisma said when she saw the journals that she was talking about.

The team introduced themselves to her and told them that since they still had a few days of vacation time left, they were going to use it. Hotch was flying back to Florida where his family was, JJ and Blake were taking the jet back to Quantico and to their families and JJ would fill Penelope Garcia in on what happened when they left her behind. Rossi and Morgan had chosen to spend their last few days together with Spencer and his twin sister in Vegas and would return with them.

Before they left, JJ and Blake kicked the boys out so they could help Charisma get dressed and see the world. She remembered how to put underwear, pants, socks, and shoes on; but the bra was something she near learned how to put on so they helped her with that and she remembered how to put a shirt on as well. They helped her get her hair in order, she wanted to get it cut, it was way too long for her liking. Charisma clung to them as they lead her to where the others were waiting for them.

"Sven." Charisma said when she saw her twin.

"Kari." Spencer replied as he took her from JJ and Blake. She was nervous about setting foot outside the hospital and into the world.

They waited patiently for her as she walked to the car that Morgan and Rossi were driving back to Spencer's hotel in; JJ, Blake, and Hotch would take another one to the airport to rejoin their families. The first stop the four made was to a hair salon so they could cut Charisma's hair, once inside Spencer and Charisma learned that the woman who agreed to cut her hair had been a ten-year-old child that had been playing tag with them the day Charisma had been kidnapped. She remembered Charisma and was happy to see that she was alive, sad to see how thin she was, but was positive that she would get back the weight she had lost during her captivity.

Once they were done Charisma asked if they could visit their parents, she wanted to see them, wanted to let them know that she was alive. Spencer agreed and Rossi and Morgan helped get their parents together at Bennington so Spencer could reveal that he had found their daughter.

"You found my angel?" Diana Reid asked her son; she was having a good day when her son and husband came to visit her when Spencer told her and her husband that he found their daughter.

"Yes, I did, mom. The man who took her away from us all those years ago kept her alive and he sent packages and notes to my teammates and forced them to get together and figure out why they had gotten what they had. While speaking with me while I was in my hotel room here in Vegas, I was drugged with a sedative and kidnapped. My team flew down and figured out where I was and found me and Charisma together and brought us to a hospital and we were kept overnight to make sure the sedative wore off and nothing else was wrong with us." Spencer explained to his parents.

"Where is she?" William Reid asked his son, who smiled.

"Let me bring her in. I'll be right back." Spencer replied as his parents nodded and he got up and left the room before coming back in with Charisma on his arm.

"Mom? Dad?" Charisma asked as William stood up, helping his wife to her feet as they took in the sight of their long-lost daughter on their son's arm, despite looking like a skin-covered skeleton.

"Charisma…Oh my charismatic angel…" Diana said as she laid eyes on her daughter.

"Mom. Dad." Charisma said as she let go of Spencer's arm to hug her parents and the three cried as Spencer smiled and joined his family, as Morgan and Rossi shared a smile as they watched the Reid family be reunited for the first time in 25 years.

"Kodak moment." Rossi whispered to Morgan who nodded and snapped a photo of the family of four and sent the photo to Hotch, JJ, Blake, and Garcia with the caption 'the Reid family together again after 25 years apart. The three girls all had the same response 'aw so cute!' Hotch's response was a bit different 'I'm glad'

"Not surprised the girls had the same response." Morgan said softly as Rossi agreed.

The following morning, the radio stations and tv news stations were all talking about the same thing and the headline of the paper in Las Vegas read 'Missing Child found alive 25 years later' everyone was talking about it. Charisma Lynnette Reid had gone missing on July 15, 1988, as a 7-year-old child while playing tag in the local park with her twin brother Spencer Walter Reid and a bunch of other children. The prime suspect, a man named Thomas Huntington, who was seen watching the children playing tag moments before Charisma Reid vanished, was cleared since the police could not find any clues to the missing girl's whereabouts at the time.

Spencer Reid, now a member of the Behavioral Analyst Unit of the FBI, never stopped looking for his twin sister. Spencer, when asked about how his twin was found, revealed that Thomas Huntington had sent packages and notes to his teammates. His team got back together, since they were on their 2-week vacation, to compare notes and realized that it sounded like he was in trouble so they spoke to him about it and he confirmed what they suspected and watched as Huntington drug him and kidnap him. Which forced them to fly to Vegas where he was visiting his mother, to find him. They found Thomas Huntington and had a shoot-out with him and killed him and then they found him and his twin sister, also drugged, in the basement of Thomas Huntington's maternal grandmother's house.

Charisma had been in that house for the past 25 years, never once setting foot outside. This was her first time seeing the outside world and seeing her parents in years. William Reid, Spencer and Charisma's father, said that when Spencer asked him to meet with him at Bennington Sanitarium, where Diana Reid, the twins' mother, lived due to her mental health, he was unsure of what his son wanted. He had walked out on his son and wife 3 years after his daughter's disappearance and never spoke to them in years until his son came to Vegas with his team to work on a case. He had told his son at the time he had kept track of him through the news over the years and was proud of him. Once at Bennington Sanitarium William and Diana Reid learned that their son had a surprise for them and told them that his team had found him, after watching him get kidnapped while talking to them, and his long-lost sister.

It was a Kodiak moment for the Reid family, Spencer revealed that he was taking his sister with him when he returned to his home in Quantico Virginia, where he could help her get back the weight she had lost and help her find her place in the world after being held captive for so long. Charisma said she was nervous about it since she had never been on a plane nor has, she left the state of Nevada, but then again, she could not wait to leave, wanting to start a new chapter in her life and to do so she had to leave the past behind her.

After a couple of months, Charisma had regained the weight she had lost and no longer looked like a skin-covered skeleton, she had also gotten her GED and a driver's license. She was now in the process of getting a college degree in baking and pastry and another degree in business management, since she was planning on opening her own bakery, it was a dream she had as a child, one that had been put on hold when she had been kidnapped as a child. While she was doing that, she met a man named Arthur Wilder and the two fell in love with each other. Arthur proved that he did not care what happened to her in the past and showed that he loved her no matter what and passed all the background checks and questions her brother and his team asked him. It was clear that one day they would get married and have kids, Charisma was worried that she would be unable to have children but Arthur did not care if she could or not, he loved her regardless.

Annie: We hope you have enjoyed the second story/chapter!

SB/Kierra: Yes, we know we reused our OC's; that is just how Annie wrote these stories in the first place.

Annie: We do have a couple of new OC's in a few other stories but the main roles will stay the same.

SB/Kierra: Review, please. Cya!

Annie: Bye!
