That Awkward Time I Fell In Love

Ch. 2

Naruto looked around his new room, smiling softly. Sasuke and Kakashi had helped him move in, and he ended up selling a lot of his old furniture or donating it to charity. There was simply no room for it and he had to downsize.

He now had a full bed instead of just a futon to sleep on, so that was a plus. Sasuke had also promised to take him shopping for work clothes for his new job as a secretary. It had been a very awkward conversation when he spoke to Sasuke about getting a job at the large company, and he still felt like he didn't deserve to work there.

Sasuke told him he needed at least three suits and a few different button down shirts. And ties. But the teme said no orange so that was annoying.

" Orange is an eyesore in the office. We do not even allow red," Sasuke had claimed when he protested. So he would have to settle for black and blue. Maybe grey would be allowed.

With one last look at his new room, Naruto closed the door and headed to the living room to wait for Sasuke and Kakashi to go shopping. The good news about the shopping trip, his best friend offered to take him to Ichiraku Ramen if he didn't fuss too much.

After maybe five minutes the other two finally showed up in the living room from their room, and Kakashi smiled at his little brother while Sasuke just scowled as usual.

"Everyone ready to go?" Kakashi asked with a grin. He knew that neither wanted to do this, but Naruto needed work clothes and Sasuke felt the need to help the blond idiot he called his best friend.

"All ready, Kakashi," Naruto answered with a sunny smile.

"Hn," Sasuke grunted out, arms crossed.

As the three men headed out to buy Naruto clothes, which the one in question was not happy that he had to accept financial help from the other two, they headed to one of the ritziest places that Naruto had ever seen.

"Sasuke, I would be fine with something cheaper, or even from the thrift store," Naruto tried. He had tried the other day when the young Uchiha had brought up the job proposal and mentioned of helping him buy clothes for said job.

" No dobe. You are going to be outfitted into something comfortable," Sasuke all but growled. "Now come on." He grabbed the blond by the wrist and dragged him into the menswear boutique, almost snarling about his best friend fighting him on this. Again.

"Just because you wore Armani since you were a baby doesn't mean I have to wear it for an entry level job," the blond mumbled, defeated though.

"Naruto Uzumaki," Sasuke started. "One more peep out of you and no ramen for a month."

The mentioned paled, knowing the two with him would throw out all the instant ramen he had at the house and never let him get any more. But he did not utter another word to them about buying too expensive clothing again.
