Prologue Part two

Two weeks later

Ladybug stood next to Master Fu waiting for the arrival of the other miraculous users. Two others stood off to the side. They silently watched the young girl. A look of pride briefly crossed the woman's expression. Her partner watched with a smirk. He could guess what was about to happen. There was only a short time to go before the others were due to arrive. He hoped that the others would follow the directions.

As the time for the meeting arrived Master Fu prepared the tea. At the exact time, three knocks sounded. Ladybug stepped to the back and waited. Master Fu called her in a few minutes later. She stepped from the back and smiled at Chat Noir.

"Hey kitty thanks for coming," Ladybug smiled

"Anything for you Bugaboo," He smirked

"The others will be arriving in about 15 minutes or so," she said, "Let's go talk"

"Is everything okay,"

"We need to talk before the others arrive,"

"Right," he said realizing it was serious, "let's go"

"Master Fu we will be back a few minutes after the last person should be here," Ladybug said

"Be safe dear," he nodded, "and Chat when you hear what she tells you don't act irrationally"

"Right," Chat said as they left out the back door. Ladybug led them away from the shop. They put several blocks between them and the shop before they stopped on a flat roof. Ladybug sat down and waited for Chat to do the same. He sat next to her silently.

"Okay bugaboo what's going on,"

"Master Fu has chosen me as the next Guardian," she said softly

"That is great bugaboo. You will be a great guardian," He grinned, before frowning at her expression, "it is great isn't it?"

"Yes it is great and I am honored that he chose me," she said, forcing a smile, "but there is more. I will be leaving for the next 18 months to officially train as guardian. That is what the meeting tonight is about. Master Fu called in a pair of miraculous holders from another box to help you all while I am away. The other holders, beside us and the pair, will be asked to reveal their identities to make it easier for the three of you to find them in emergencies. When I take over as guardian, you and I will reveal our identities until then it is very important that no one knows who we are. After that we will have to decide if the holders we have now are who we want as a permanent team. If we decide to make them permanent team members then I will reveal who I am to them so they will be able to find me when needed."

"Bugaboo you becoming guardian is a great thing," he said, "I will miss you while you are gone but this is a great thing. It will all be okay bugaboo,"

"Thanks kitty," she smiled as she leaned on his shoulder. He grinned as they sat there in silence. They remained that way for nearly half an hour. Ladybug sighed and nudged Chat, "Let's go Kitty,"

He nodded silently before hugging her and assuring her it would all be okay. She smiled and headed back to Fu's. They arrived to everyone waiting.

"Thank you all for coming," Ladybug smiled as she looked over who was all there, "I have an important reason for summoning you all tonight. Master Fu has named me as the next guardian. I will be leaving tonight to begin my formal training. The reason I asked you all to come was to introduce you to the current guardian and the two new members of our team. Everyone I would like you to meet Dash and his wife Vixen. They are Miraculous holders from another box. Dash and Vixen will be able to purify the akumas that are caught while I am away."

"Thank you Ladybug," Dash smiled as he took Vixen's hand, "As you can see we are much older than you all. We have had our miraculouses for 20 years now. Master Fu and the future guardian have asked us to do what we can to help you all,"

"I have asked them, while they are here, to train you both in your masks and behind them," Ladybug said, "If any of you would like to return the miraculouses and walk away I will understand,"

"Let me get this straight, you want us to reveal our identities?" Rena said

"Yes," Ladybug said, "Chat and I cannot reveal ours until I have finished my training because of the power of our miraculouses,"

"Oh," Rena said, "Trixx lets rest"

"Shell off"

"Scales rest,"

"Buzz off"

"Longg open sky"

"Dismount"

"Fluff counter-clockwise"

Alya, Nino, Luka, Chloe, Kagami, Max, and Alix stood there.

"Chat these are the holders I have chosen," Ladybug smiled, "I still stand by them if you agree"

"My Lady I think this is a great team," he smiled, "I have an idea of some additions if you don't mind?"

"Go ahead" she smiled.

"Could you all asked Juleka, Rose, Sabrina, Ivan, Mylene, Kim, and Nathaniel to come right now"

Ladybug smiled at them

"What about Marinette?" Kagami asked

"She is no longer in Paris or I would have asked" Chat smiled,

"What do you mean she is not is Paris" Luka asked in shock, "and how would you know"

"Because I visit the bakery once a week," Chat said, "she told me a month ago after she got expelled she was leaving Paris and staying with family friends in New York. She was excited about it"

"Oh umm that's great" Alya said

"They should be here soon," Luka and Nino said

"Good" Ladybug smiled. They waited for around half an hour chatting when a knock sounded at the door. Master Fu went to answer it and let them in.

"Hey everyone," Sabrina grinned as she bounced into the room, "OMG it's ladybug and Chat noir"

Ladybug smiled and looked at Chat as she pointed at a miraculous he nodded

"Sabrina this is the Miraculous of the dog which grants the power of Detection. You'll use it for the greater good. Can I trust you?"

"Yes"

"Juleka, this is the Miraculous of the tiger which grants the power of Fashion. You'll use it for the greater good. Can I trust you?"

"Yes"

"Rose, this is the Miraculous of the pig which grants the power of Pollution . You'll use it for the greater good. Can I trust you?"

"Yes"

"Ivan, this is the Miraculous of the ox which grants the power of Augmentation . You'll use it for the greater good. Can I trust you?"

"Yes"

"Mylene, this is the Miraculous of the mouse which grants the power of multiplication. You'll use it for the greater good. Can I trust you?"

"Yes"

"Kim, this is the Miraculous of the Monkey which grants the power of jubilation. You'll use it for the greater good. Can I trust you?"

"Yes"

"Nathaniel, this is the Miraculous of the rooster which grants the power of Imitation . You'll use it for the greater good. Can I trust you?"

"Yes"

"Chat any objections to these?"

"No I think you got it purrfect Milady"

"It is a great responsibility you have all been given and Chat and I are counting on you, Paris is counting on you," Ladybug said, "Thank you for accepting your duties. I have to leave soon but first let me introduce the guardian so he can explain your obligations.
