Sorry for the delay. Back with another chapter!

The orangish-yellow rays hit the surface of the lake. A young, navy-blue haired gazed down the lake with his hands shoved into is pocket. The wind played with his hair. He sighed out loud.

"Here you are! Tyson!" Kenny cried, rushing over to Tyson.

Tyson turned around. "Kenny? Why have you been looking for me?"

"They're here! And she's so gorgeous! I just saw a picture! That beauty exceeds Ming-Ming's!"

Tyson gawked at Kenny, baffled. "Who?"

"Scrimmage Resolutions, knucklehead!"

"Oh. Uh-"

"We need to report to the airport! NOW!"

Kenny hauled Tyson along to the Dojo, from where they planned to head off to the Dojo. Tyson yelled at Kenny was hauling him harshly, but to his annoyance, Kenny wouldn't listen to his griping. It was about time until they got there.

"You're late." Kai said, ungluing himself from the car his back was lounged against. "We don't need to report to the airport. They're here."

A leg stepped out of the black, glistening metal piece. Revealing herself, a gorgeous girl, about Tyson's age, stepped out. Her caramel brown hair reached up to her elbows, with two small braided-strings attached to the back of her head. Her azure eyes glistened in the sunshine and they were lighter than Max's. She wore a simple white shirt with a mustard coat along with a knee breech. Cohering it up, she wore equestrian riding boots.
Behind her, followed her brother. Tyson mulled and assumed that this might be the lassie's brother, as they were extremely similar in looks, except he had pearly eyes instead of azure. Beside the girl, stood a brunette with caramel eyes. Her hair fell up to her shoulder and beside the guy, stood a blondie with grey-ish eyes, wearing baggy, dark colored clothes.

"Greetings! I'm Tiara James!" she said, shaking hands with Tyson. Her accent was pure-British.

"This is my twin brother, Mike James."

'So I was right, huh?' Tyson thought to himself.

"You two look very much alike. It's kinda rare to see a brother-sister twin pair look so alike! Sweet!" Hilary said enthusiastically. It was fathomable, if looked from her point of view. Instead of playing along, Tiara jeered her instead.

"It's obvious, silly." Tiara turned to Tyson. "So you've got a wanker in your group. Pity, if you ask me."

"Oh dear." Mike whispered.

"A what?" Everyone except Hilary interrogated, wagging their eyebrows. Hilary gasped softly.

"Watch it!" Hilary yelled, calling for an ominous scene.

Tyson turned sharply at Hilary. "What did she say to you? I mean, whatever it is, what does it mean?"

Hilary folded her arms across her chest. "Never mind, Tyson. It's an abusive word. It's an insult."

"Oh, she knows." Tiara said in an indignant manner. "The word serves you right. Go cry in the-"

"That's enough! We just met, there was no need for a scene to start like this!" Ray called out. "We're all here for a valid, plausible reason! No fighting!"

"My apologies. Let's move on, shall we?" She stylishly walked past the G-Revolutions. As much as Tyson hated to admit it, Tiara had good looks- better than Hilary's. Despite her derogatory attitude, her style was ravishing.

"I apologise for that attitude." Mike said politely. "It's just her personality, but she won't get too nasty, I promise you that."

Max grinned. "No worries. Take some rest at the hotel Mr. Dickenson booked for ya. We'll meet up at Tyson's place tonight at 9. And don't worry, Mr. Dickenson will take you there."

"Thank you, we appreciate it." Mike retorted. "I'll see you then."

The G-Revolutions marched over to Tyson's dojo. Tiara's attitude didn't seem to go down well with Hilary. She sat in the corner with a horrified expression, stuck in her doldrums.

"I'm slightly worried about this whole thing now." Kenny mulled.

"Chill out. We all need to put up with each other. Moaning and complaining isn't going to work." The disciplined, calm Ray spouted.

"Tiara is going to be a pain!" Daichi griped. "Worse than Hi-"

Tyson clapped his hand against Daichi's mouth. Hilary was already sequestered and surrounded by a perturbed atmosphere, full of solitude. Tyson didn't want to make things worse for her, even though Daichi might have had a point. The team gaped at the mulled girl tentatively for a few seconds until Tyson finally took his hand off Daichi's dirty mouth.

"The other two didn't speak, did they? I don't even know their names- I forgot." Max said, surreptitiously changing everyone's direction of attention.

"Oh yeah, that girl and that boy. They all are about our age, aren't they?" Daichi questioned.

Tyson eyed him. "You're not even included in our age category, kid. You're like, what, nine?"

"Twelve! I'm almost twelve, you dope!" Daichi yelped in embarrassment.

Tyson and Daichi's continued to bicker until Kai popped up behind him and smacked him on the back.

"Ouch!" He bawled. "What is it?"

"You might wanna check on a young woman weeping out there."

"Hilary?" Tyson said softly. "Is she really crying over that insult?" He said incredulously.

"Uh I don't think it's only that, Tyson. She seems to be stuck in all doldrums and undermining reveries. She seems pretty much under the weather now-a-days." Kenny explained meticulously.

"Mental illness, maybe?"

"Woah, woah! That's intimidating!" Daichi yelled, shooting his palms forward.

Pressuring his thighs, Tyson stood up on his feet. "I'll go check on her." He said calmly.

"You'll just make things worse." Ray jeered.

"I won't. I promise."

"Let one of us go?" Daichi shrugged.

"No, I'm going!" Tyson demanded.

Max coughed. "We know you like her and all, but-"

"What?!" Tyson said incredulously.

"What?"

"I- don't like her?" He explained, raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah, you love her." Daichi mocked.

Kenny chucked.

"Shut up!" He flushed. "It's final, no pondering. I'm marching out there. None of you sneak in."

"Alright, alright! Go ahead, buddy!"

Tyson tip-toed over the edges of the dojo and craned his neck to the left, where the young brunette sat, gawking at the wood below her. He caught her wipe a tear with a finger. Finally, he made a move.

"Hilary?" Tyson whispered, squinting his eyes. His teeth were gritted and his eyebrows were raised.

Hilary jumped on her feet.

"Ty-s-o-n?" She stammered. Her crying filled her throat. It was conspicuous, and Tyson knew it.

"You okay?" He said impulsively. "No I mean- you're not okay. So, what's wrong?"

"I'm okay."

"Don't be silly, Hils. This is the one time I'll let you lay it thick."

"You're the one laying it thick!"

"I'm not here to argue!" Tyson hollered, emphasising and lengthening the 'not'.

Hilary quietened down.

"I'm here for you! Can you, can you believe, this stubborn, cantankerous, loud Tyson Granger, who always bickers with Hilary Tachibana, is here now at her service? A friendly service?"

Hilary squinted and lounged against the wooden pole.

"Hils? I-"

He walked over to her. To her surprise, he took her palm and pulled her towards his chest. He caressed her hair tenderly.

"I'd love it if you tell me, but it's okay if you don't wanna. But, just remember, I'm here for you." Tyson couldn't believe he actually said that. As gutsy as he was, he'd never thought he'd confront Hilary this way. They're friends, sure. But since the past few months, he feels apprehensive around her. He was oblivious to the reason.

Hilary wailed softly. "I'm sorry for being such a pain."

"You're not."

"Don't lie to me!"

"Seriously, Daichi's way past being a drag. And you know that." He paused. "But we don't hate him. After all, he has a decent, sweet side to himself. Sometimes, his exuberance can be really pleasing." He chuckled with a sigh. "You probably need a therapist, Hils-"

"Ain't got no time for that, Tys." Tyson jumped. He'd never heard his pet-name being called out from her mouth. "We need to fix your bit-beast thing tonight. And then, leave for the island."

Tyson grinned. "If you need anything, I'm here. And after all this while, can I-can I tell you something?"

"Hmm."

"Hilary, honestly I-"

On the spur of the moment, Max barged out unceremoniously. "They're here, guys!"

"Holy Jesus. I'm gonna lay it down. Come on!" Tyson hauled Hilary along with Max to the dojo.
