Reviews:
Dantegillenwater12121999: That's an okay suggestion for an alien. We'll take it into consideration.
Striker1036: Yeah, that's why we're doing it. It's a passion project for a franchise we love.
Menydragon5: Thanks for the positive support.
Shanethekewldude: We have plans and are shuffling ideas around.
Izanagi177: Thanks very much, here's the next chapter.
AzureTemplar3535: Here we go.
RedAlert: Professor Paradox might appear in the story. No promises.
Acplanethulk: That's a nice thought. We might incorporate that, we might not.
MiracleKing64: We might add Lucy, but she's going to appear in the story.
Here are some reviews answered by our own GreyKing46:
AzureTemplar3535: Here it is.
Izanagi177: Hopefully we meet expectations.
Frostspiderman: ... *Looks at our past work* ... No. But we won't be bashing her... This time. I have ideas.
shanethekewldude: It is the basic Omnitrix... For now.
Yami666x: We will describe them?
Shooting Star Dragon 3000: Recommend Kuro the Artist's recaps in the YouTube channel The Ink Tank. It adds extra inside and fun facts with every episode.
TitchTitan: We know about it. But we don't want to use any of Kuro's stuff, feels unfair.
Ben the Lesser: Glad you have faith in us. We will do our best to live up to it.
SlyDoctor: Omniverse wasn't terrible. But it is hampered by what I call "good concept, bad execution syndrome". Especially as they over-focused on comedy.
Author's Note: Hi everyone, Ghost here. As much as it's heart-warming to have PMs of people being excited about the newest stories that Grey and I come up with. I would appreciate it if you would make them reviews for those respective stories as not to flood our inboxes. Thank you for supporting us.

Space. A near-endless void filled with stars and planets. A place where those who dare to travel through the stars is a pipe-dream but what a dream. To be among where possibilities are endless.
A home of millions, almost countless, life forms.
And rushing through the vast infinitude were two large metal travel machines. Space ships.
One was a long silver trident shaped spaceship with a ring on the back, thruster engines on the back of the prongs and ring. It was sleek with green lights and windows glowing as it was being fired upon by a much larger ship.
This second ship was a large rail-gun dagger-shaped ship, dwarfing the smaller silver ship in front of it. On the dagger-shaped ship were large red energy cores with red electrical currents pulsing between the two front protrusions; its metal was a dark ruddy brown colour, dome protrusions with black cannons firing upon the smaller ship.
The shields of the smaller ship were bombarded with the heavy laser fire, they were becoming weaker and weaker with each blast. It was smaller, but it was faster. The silver ship turned to the side of the dagger ship and shot its own laser fire down upon it, green lasers that carved into the hull of the ship, causing melted parts of the ship to fly into the void as the smaller ship was using the area to fly around quicker and even use meteorites as cover.
Inside the larger ship, beings wearing red and black armour were working hard as they were on computers. "Hull damage twenty per cent. Systems still operational." One spoke out loud as the damage was calculated.
"Follow that ship. I will not let it slip through my grasp." A shadowed figure growled. It was a tall and imposing figure wearing black spiked boots, a red bodysuit, spiked shoulders and a black chest with red veins along its side. Though his face was covered by the darkness of shadows, his burning red eyes and sharp yellowed teeth.
BOOM!
The large ship blasted through the meteors and the debris, continuing its pursuit of the smaller ship, which wasn't giving up in the slightest.
"The Omnitrix will be mine!" The shadowed figure slammed his hand into his chair. "FIRE!"
Lasers once again fired at the smaller ship, just missing its mark by mere inches as it dodged out of the way. The smaller ship turning around to get in close as it fires again at the ship.
"Raise shields!" The figure demanded.
"Shields raised, defences at ninety-one per cent." A minion spoke out.
"Activate beam!" The figure proclaimed.
"Sir, we cannot raise shields if we do." One of the minions responded.
"DO IT!" The shadowed figure roared, showing the bottom of his face, it being sickly green tentacles.
The electricity between the ship's protrusions began to glow and power up, it was going to eviscerate the small ship in its entirety.
The smaller ship saw the chance and rushed around the back of the ship, aiming for its thrusters. It had to do this right.
It shot its lasers right into the blind spot, damaging the interior of the main engines.
"What the-?" The shadowed figure.
"It's penetrated the engines! We're losing power and the beam is still active! It's going to explode!" The minions proclaimed.
"Then take her down with us!" The figure ordered. "I will not lose the Omnitrix!"
In the smaller vessel, the pilot was being buffeted about by the fluctuations and warnings from the beams and barrage of gunfire. They had left the pilots seat and checked on their cargo. The figure was a slender being with long tendrils on its head wearing a blue and black bodysuit. They placed a strange sphere in a pod, a multi-layered lock mechanism that couldn't be accessed. 'I hope that this gets where it needs to go!' They thought.
BOOM!
"Gah! I'm hit!" The being gasped, falling into the wall. "Have to...Evacuate."
Warning. Hull damage at eighty-nine per cent. Requiring immediate evacuation to the nearest hospitable planet.
"There's. Only one. In this system." The female figure panted, making coordinates to a nearby planet. "I'll see you in hell, you tyrant." And discharged something from the cargo area.
*elsewhere*
We arrive at a place called Bellwood. It was a small, normal city in the USA.
The local high school was closing its doors, today was the last day of school and the start of the summer holidays. The students were enjoying their freedom as it meant that they could do what they want for the next three months.
Walking out of the school was a young man, about sixteen years old. He had shaggy brown hair and emerald green eyes; wearing a green hoodie over a black and white shirt, a pair of blue jeans with black and green sneakers. His hood was over his shoulders as he had one earphone in and listening to his music while his bag was slung over his shoulder. He was looking around at his classmates and saw that they were all excited about the holidays. 'Yeah, this seems about right.' He thought with a small smile. 'Time for videogames and sleeping in.'
The young man stretched with a grin... When he noticed something.
He saw a couple of students picking on another student. And he knew those two bullies for quite a while. "C'mon, Colin. You've got nothing better to do over the summer. Just do our homework." One of the two boys jeered.
One of the boys had a flat black haircut, a rugby-ball shaped head with large ears, brown eyes, a red shirt with red sleeves, dark grey trousers and black sneakers.
"I mean, we've been so good to you over the past year." The second boy added, playing into the 'kindness'.
The second bully had brown unkempt hair, coke-bottle glasses, wearing an olive open-shirt over a yellow t-shirt, olive trousers and brown shoes.
"B-bu-but...Y-You. You g-g-guys have-" Colin, the student stuttered, shuddering as he was intimidated by those two.
"Hey!" The brunette called without hesitation.
The two bullies turned around and saw the brunette. "Oh look. It's Tennyson. What d'you want?" The black-haired boy commented, rolling his eyes.
"Leave that guy alone." 'Tennyson' responded, getting closer.
"What? We're just asking good old Colin here for some help with our homework." The unkempt boy responded. "Right, Colin?"
"W-W-well...Um." Colin stammered.
"Sounds to me like you and J.T. were threatening him to do it, Cash." Tennyson responded, not backing down.
"Let's just ask Colin. See if he says if we were allegedly 'bullying him'." Cash, the black-haired boy, responded.
"We both know that's bull." Ben glared.
J.T. and Cash just looked at Ben, ready to 'talk some sense' into him. "And what're you going to do about it Benny-Boy?"
Ben responded by cracking his knuckles and refusing to stand down...
*Time skip*
We soon head down to a quaint two-floor home, it had a front garden with a picket fence, a garage and a car parked in front of it. The roof was brown tile plated, brick red painted and a porch at the front. We see that Ben had walked all the way back and opened the door. "I'm home." He spoke as he entered the house.
"Welcome home, Ben-your face!" A woman spoke as she saw him. The woman had green eyes, blonde hair, wearing a red blouse and blue jeans.
"Hi, mum." Ben spoke gently as he was scuffed up, his hoodie and shirt had stains on them and his eye was swollen.
"How did this happen?" Mrs Tennyson asked in shock as she saw this.
"You should see the other two." Ben joked, his teeth a little bloody.
"Benjamin Kirby Tennyson!" She frowned.
"They were bullying someone. I couldn't stand back, mum." Ben explained as she looked him over.
"I'll go get some ice. Rinse your mouth out." Mrs Tennyson answered. "Your father is not going to like this."
"He'll be fine." Ben waved off. "Is Grandpa Max here yet?"
"He'll be here soon." Mrs Tennyson answered. "Have you packed up for the trip?"
"Yes, mum. I've gotten two weeks' worth of clothes, games, battery packs." Ben listed off. "I'm settled."
"Oh~! A whole summer without my baby boy?!" Mrs Tennyson suddenly cried and hugged him.
"Oh mum, it's not like I'll be a million miles away." Ben groaned as he was hugged by his mum.
"You promise to call?" Mrs Tennyson asked.
"Yes. I promise." Ben nodded.
"Every night?"
"...Err..." Ben mumbled.
"I'm not hearing a 'no'." She responded.
"I-I promise. Okay." Ben answered, feeling guilted by this. "Come on mum, calm down."
"I'm sorry." She sniffed, pulling back and looked at her son. "But I'm going to miss you."
"It's going to be me and Grandpa Max. It's gonna be okay." He answered.
"And your cousin." Mrs Tennyson added.
"...Huh?"
"Your cousin is going with you." She clarified.
"Which-? Gwen? She's coming?" Ben asked, almost groaning.
"Oh, come on Ben, don't be like that." A cheerful older man spoke from behind Ben's back, making him grin.
We see a grey-haired hefty man, wearing a white shirt under a red Hawaiian floral design button-up shirt, blue trousers and brown flat shoes. He seemed to be in his sixties.
"Grandpa Max! You-. When did you-?" Ben asked as he turned around.
"Not long." Max responded but noted Ben's eye and his stained teeth. "Oof, what happened there?"
"A fight." Ben admitted.
"What did they do?" Max frowned.
"They were bullying a classmate. Forcing him to do their homework." Ben explained.
"I see." Max nodded, understanding where Ben was coming from...but there had to be better means than a fight. "I'm proud of you for standing up for your classmate."
"But don't get into trouble with Grandpa Max." Mrs Tennyson answered.
"Mum, I'm not-. I won't." Ben almost snapped but held back. "I'll get my bags."
"Great, we'll put them in the Rust Bucket." Max answered as Ben headed upstairs.
"You still have the old RV?" Ben asked.
"Hey, the old girl has a lot of miles left in her!" Max laughed.
"It must have like a million on the clock, Grandpa." Ben quipped as he entered his room.
Ben's room was his man-cave, it had a game system and large TV on a wooden TV stand, a double bed, a built-in wardrobe and a set of drawers. His bed was a mess with the quilt doubled over and his travel bags on top. There were pictures of a popular game series on the walls, depicting sumo wrestlers with cyber-punk armour and the words 'Sumo Slammers' underneath the figures.
He hummed, grabbing his bag with a smile.
"See you after the summer, Room. Don't change." He joked as he closed the door behind him and slung his bag over his shoulder.
He gave a small laughed he jumped up, sliding down the bannister as he sat atop it.
As he slid down, he landed safely on his feet after a few seconds of rush.
"Ben, how many times have I said not to slide down the bannister?" His mother crossed her arms.
"Be fair to him, Sandra. It's the last day at home." Max responded.
"I suppose." She sighed.
"Carl was a lot like that at his age, don't worry." Max assured.
"Having two mothers probably didn't help." She grumbled almost bitterly, making Max frown.
"Sandra. Must we always go over this?" Max sighed.
"You're right, you're right. I'm sorry." She raised her hands innocently.
"Right, I'm ready to go." Ben looked at his grandfather and mother after swilling out his mouth to clean out the leftover blood.
"Right." Max nodded.
"Bye, Ben." Sandra smiled and hugged her son.
"I'll be back in September," Ben reassured, hugging back.
"I know. Your father and I will miss you." She added.
"I hope so." He answered, he broke the hug.
"I am awesome, anyone would miss me!" Ben joked.
Sandra rolled her eyes and tussled her son's hair. "I love you."
"Love you, too." Ben answered as both he and Max left for the Rust Bucket. "So... where'd you park?"
"Just around the corner." He explained "Your cousin is really excited to see you again."
"Yeah, I bet she is." Ben rolled his eyes.
"Ben, I know it's been six years since you've last seen each other." Max sighed as they walked. "But Gwen has missed you."
Ben sighed and thought back to when he was ten. Shorter, more energetic, and always getting into arguments with his slightly older cousin.
Slightly older as in, like, two hours! Not that she'd ever let him forget it. Especially as she was taller than him by... Barely anything.
Ben remembered her as a snarky know-it-all, short red hair with a clip, a pushy attitude and always wearing that same blue cat-print shirt. "Man, this is gonna be a long summer; isn't it?" He asked himself.
Soon, Max and Ben arrived at a long beige-white RV with two single horizontal red and blue lines going around, rust and mud by the wheels and the under-carriage, six black tires, protruding hubcaps, a three-slat grill, four headlights, a large viewing area at the front, five windows either side of the RV for light and use, a set of four satellites and three antennae on the back and on the roof, an AC port and a skylight.
This RV had seen better days, it lived up to its name as the 'Rust Bucket'.
"Here she is." Max smiled. "Come on, let's put your things inside."
Ben nodded and followed, still thinking about his cousin and how this could ruin his whole summer. He had plans! He was gonna have so much fun with his grandpa, some real guy time!
'Urgh, I can only imagine what she looks like now after that time abroad. A stuffy, uppity, snobby-' Ben thought as he got inside the Rust Bucket.
Inside the Rust Bucket, there was the same red carpet with orange, yellow and black pattern on the floor that had been cleaned so many times over the years; dark orange upholstery seats by a fold away table, the two front seats for the driver and the co-driver, the cubby toilet in the side by the kitchen area where a stove and preparation area was.
And sitting in the chair was a beautiful young woman. She had long red hair tied in a short ponytail, emerald-green eyes, wearing a blue shirt with a black vest over her modest chest, a black skirt and stockings that went up along her slender legs with slightly heeled shoes on her 'petit' feet. "You're back." The young woman said as she saw Max. "Oh...Hi, Ben." She spoke and gave a polite wave.
"G-Gwen?!" Ben's jaw dropped as he saw her. "Is-Is that you?!"
"Of course, it's me." She answered, crossing her arms. "You've...grown up. You finally got a haircut."
"Yeah, I-hey!" He mumbled, before snapping gently. "I guess Europe was good to you. Wearing that sweater-vest."
"What's that supposed to mean?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Nothing. Just that you always wore that cat-shirt all the time." Ben answered.
"You're one to talk. You always wore the same black and white shirt." Gwen retorted.
"Alright, kids. There's no need to be at each other's throats. We're going on a tour around the US., it's meant to help bond." Max spoke.
"Ugh!" Ben grunted a bit and sat down "I was hoping for a cool guy's summer though Grandpa. You and me cruising across the states. Sleeping in, playing video games. Seeing cool stuff. You teach me how to get girls. You know, fun stuff!"
"Well, I'm sorry for 'ruining your plans'." Gwen frowned as she sat down in the chair.
"We can still have fun, Ben." Max answered.
"Yeah, yeah." He grumbled.
Max soon closed the door to the outside and sat down in the driver's seat. "Ready to get going? We've got a lot of roads to cover."
"Sure, Grandpa." Gwen nodded.
"Okay, I'll put this in my bed." Ben answered, taking his bag into the back where two bunk beds and a large bed were.
"I called the top bunk." Gwen answered as her bags were already there.
"But I wanted the top one." Ben groaned, shoving his bag into the bottom bunk.
Max sighed as he started driving, it was going to be like this for a little while. 'This is gonna be a looong summer.' he thought.
*Time skip*
An awkward silence filled the Rust Bucket as the old RV drove down the road, rocking and bumping along the way.
Ben was sat longways across one of the seats, playing a video game. He had his headphones in his ear, looking at the small black handheld before his eyes. His fingers where flicking across the controls, trying to be absorbed by the game he was playing.
Gwen however was reading, hearing the tinny music from Ben's game. Not that it was loud. She saw some of the passing trees that were going into a long clearing. "Where are we going, Grandpa?"
"We're going to a camping site. I thought it'd be a good place to start." Max answered, happy that Gwen broke the silence.
"Oh?" She asked.
"We're going to start this trip off on the right foot. A campfire, a star-filled night, some home cooking and s'mores." Max explained.
"Wow, that sounds great. I'm gonna have to make room in my schedule." Gwen answered.
"Wait, wait, wait. What was that?" Ben asked. "You have a schedule?"
"Yes." She answered, pulling out a large rolled-up piece of paper with different coloured segments and codes. "I've got it all down to the hours."
"...What the hell is wrong with you? You're not at boarding school anymore. This is summer vacation! You don't need-" Ben responded, before pulling his headphones out and paused his game. "You don't need a schedule. Just have fun."
"This is how I want my fun, Ben. I want to enjoy each day with the maximum amount of time we have. It doesn't last forever." Gwen responded.
"But you're restricting yourself way too much! You can't get sucked in and enjoy anything if you have to finish soon after."
"And I suppose you want me to take it 'fast and loose'? Like how you're doing by playing video games and lazing about?" Gwen responded. "I can't do that."
"Sure, you can. It's easy and I do it all the time." Ben answered.
"That's a surprise." Gwen rolled her eyes and mumbled.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"You slouch, you have a black eye and you act like nothing matters." Gwen answered.
"I told you I got into a fight with some bullies!" Ben responded.
"Whatever."
"You're such a dweeb." Ben rolled his eyes and went back to playing his game.
"And you're a-."
Max shook his head while he kept on the road, before turning into the campsite. "Okay, here we are!" As he pulled into an empty area for them to have some privacy for themselves.
"Whoa, seriously?" Ben asked. "That felt fast."
"Considering that you two were arguing, I suppose it felt faster." Max retorted as he parked up and turned off the engine. "You better put a jacket or something on. It might get chilly out there." He commented as he went to the fridge to get some things out.
Ben shrugged and zipped his jacket up.
"Do you need any help?" Gwen offered.
"That would be great, thank you." Max answered. "Ben, can you get some firewood?"
"Sure." Ben answered, getting up and walking out.
"And don't wander too far." Max added.
"I won't. I'm not ten anymore." Ben responded. He walked out of RV, his hands in his pockets. "What's for dinner?" He asked.
"It's one of my favourite recipes." Max answered as he got a Tupperware box out. "Korean style grasshoppers."
...
"What?" He blinked.
"These are a delicacy. It's like having special sauce pork scratchings." Max answered, humming with a smile.
"That sounds...lovely. Grandpa." Gwen gulped nervously.
"If you like the sound of that, I've got some specially made salad in the fridge." Max added, almost salivating at his own recipes.
"I'll grab some firewood while I am out." Ben waved and wandered away.
Gwen gulped as she saw the grasshoppers on skewers, coated in a brown sauce in the Tupperware.
As Ben walked outside and began to wander into the forest, he saw the light of the RV in the slight distance. Making sure he wasn't seen by anyone...and punched a tree with the side of his fist. "Damn it!" He hissed under his breath.
Now, many of you probably think that Ben was just being a grumpy teen angry his summer holiday was 'ruined'... But you would be wrong.
"Why? Why is Gwen...?" Ben gritted his teeth, his fist getting tighter on the bark of the tree.
Two drops of sweat and blood dripped...from Ben's nose and brow as he had a bright red blush on his face.
'So, fucking hot!' He thought as he thought about how she was dressed.
Ben fell to his knees, almost appearing to be crying up into the sky.
'Universe, god. Seriously, why? Why is she my frigging type?!' He internally screamed. 'That ponytail, the sweater-vest, her legs and chest! FUCK!'
Seriously, every part of her was just his type! If he saw her at school, he would totally ask her out!
She had a perfectly slim waist, giving her a near for damn hourglass figure! Add to that how her shirt and best hugged her, showing off said curves amazingly!
"Ah-ah...!" He groaned, almost yelling out his heart as he imagined Gwen again and again. 'Fuck!'
The way her shirt hugged her chest, the way her best curved around it. She was nearly a D-cup, his preferred size! It fit perfectly in his hands with a tiny bit extra!
"God! I'm going to die this summer! Damn it!" He groaned, crouching over as he didn't want to expose himself.
Her short skirt hugging her ass, barely going down her thighs and covering anything! Those long luscious legs, also showed how she kept herself in shape and accented her nice ass!
Fuck, even her ponytail was something he loved! Short but stylish, adding a cute factor to her face! Speaking of her face, her lips were so plump and soft looking! And her eyes... Green was Ben's favourite colour!
"Hnn! I need to calm down!" He whispered to himself as he tried to calm his raging boner under his trousers. "She is your COUSIN, Ben!" He told himself, and his boner.
As he repeated that to himself, he could feel his blood cool by his strength of will and the chill of the night air. He looked up at the sky to calm himself down...and saw something streaking across the sky.
*With Gwen*
Both Gwen and Max were making camp at the site, making a circle so that the fire could be started while Max was setting up the tables with the food.
Gwen was quiet as she was making sure that there was adequate space for the fire to grow and away from the wooden table.
As she worked, she couldn't help but... But think about Ben! God damn it, how bad be turned into...
Into...
Such a god damn hunk?!
Yep. Looks like the attractions swung both ways.
As Ben found Gwen beautiful.
Gwen found Ben equally as attractive.
She squeaked internally. His dark brown hair, his confidence and his clothing. His emerald eyes glistening. His inner and outer strength when he told her about protecting someone. It made her heart pound like a whirlwind in a jar.
She could see his muscles through his clothing! Being stuck at that all-girls boarding school for the past six years in England had just... God damn it!
No male contact for six years. Focusing only on studying and being the best she could be. And the first crush she had on a boy was her COUSIN?
Her very... Very... VERY attractive cousin!
She bit her lower lip as she tried to cover her face. She wanted to see what was under there. 'No! No! Damn it, Gwen, no! You are better than this!'
She imagined herself with Ben, being held in his arms as she felt those muscles press against her.
She felt his lips pressed against her neck, his hands rubbing her body...
"Snap out of it, Gwendolyn!" She told herself, slapping herself across the face lightly.
"Hmm? Did you say something, Gwen?" Max asked, turning around as he saw his granddaughter.
"Oh, it's-it's nothing, Grandpa Max." She answered. "Just...trying to stay awake."
"Ah." He nodded, passing her a drink.
"Thank you." She responded, taking it. "Is this water?"
"I thought you might need something refreshing." Max responded.
"Thanks." She nodded, taking a drink... "Hey Grandpa, where are your wives? I've not heard from them in years."
Max went silent as he was asked that. "They're...travelling." He answered. "It didn't work out well between us."
"Oh, I'm sorry. It would've been nice to meet them." Gwen frowned as she heard that.
"I'm sure you would've liked them. And they would've been very proud of you both." Max gave a melancholic smile.
KABOOM!
"What the devil?" Gwen gasped as she heard the almost explosive sound.
"Wait. That was-" Max panicked.
"Ben!" Both proclaimed as they looked at each other.
"I'm going after him!" Gwen panicked.
*with Ben*
Ben coughed as he was covered in dust and debris, something had crashed downwards into the woods. He was covered in dirt and fallen leaves of the trees. A burning ball had come from space; was it a meteor? A comet? A satellite of some kind? "Wh-what the hell?" He wondered as he brushed himself off and inched closer towards it.
In the large crater, Ben saw it. A perfectly round metal ball. Segmented like an armadillo and just as still.
PSSSH!
Steam hissed from inside the ball as it began to open. Ben backed up a little as he saw it, seeing the device open and revealed a hollow interior. "Oh god, please no parasites. Please no space parasites." He whispered, before seeing the inside...which wasn't completely hollow.
Inside there was a grey base device with white wires, black vents down the sides and around the wrist. There was a square cover screen that was near the 'wrist' section. It looked...like a strange bracer or a large watch.
"Whoa...what is-?" Ben's eyes glistened as he reached his hand out towards it to try and reach it.
The device glowed green and leapt outwards, the base had turned liquid-like, latching onto Ben's left wrist and fused into it. No harm at all, it was all very quick, done in a flash.
"GAH! What the? Get off me!" He shook his hand trying to remove the device from his hand. But it was no good. There was no seam that could be gripped to tear it off. It had become part of Ben.
As he pulled at it, he felt it, his skin being pulled by the same action.
"Ah-ah-ow! It-it's stuck! What the hell is this?" He wondered, tapping at it before something popped out of the cover screen. It was a round-core sort of protrusion, it had a black ring on the top with white buttons on a faceplate. "Is...this a watch?" He wondered, looking at an hourglass-shaped symbol in the centre.
Bwee~.
The centre of the core had changed, going to a diamond shape with a strange silhouette inside. It looked humanoid.
"What the hell... Is this?"
Ben looked at the watch and looked at the figure on the screen and he pushed down the core.
FLASH!
In an instant, something happened. Ben was covered in a green light, something was happening to him.
His body grew, something was changing his skin, changing his appearance and altering his body. He felt taller. He was different.
Standing in the same place where he stood, a strange humanoid being. Made of fire and cracked molten rock, wearing a shoulder guard and breastplate made of a strange purple spiked shell; it was like a crab's or lobster-like shell, spiked and strapped onto the humanoid's left shoulder. The right shoulder was exposed and looked like a mini comet, with some small flames coming from it. Roughly six foot tall and skinny with the strange watch symbol embedded in his chest.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" He screamed, looking at his hands.
Ben's hands were like fire. Molten rock but solid. He was immolating. What the hell was he now?
What... What was he?!
"I'm on fire! I'm on fire! I'm...not? On fire?" Ben panicked, running around the crater, trying not to catch the forest on fire before calming down. "What the hell is going on?" He looked at himself. "What am I?"
He walked backwards, shocked and confused about his very existence... Before he stepped on some leaves.
Crunch
"Oh shoot. Oh-oh no." Ben panicked as his feet caught the leaves on fire. He knelt and tried to pat them out, but the flames and embers just began to spread to some dead logs. "No, no, no! No, put it out, put it out!" He tried to stop the fire.
But it began to spread. If began to grow faster and faster.
"Crap! Where's my phone? Gah! It's gone!" Ben panicked. "Gotta find Grandpa and Gwen! No, stupid. They'll just freak out!"
"Ben! Ben? Are you there?" Gwen called out, sounding worried for him.
"Gwen?" Ben turned as the fires spread and crept up trees and weakening large branches. "LOOK OUT!"
Gwen screamed as she saw a burning creature, and the branch from above about to drop upon her. "Gaaaah?" She squeaked.
"Hnn! Are you okay?" Ben grunted as he lifted the branch over his burning head and threw it away. "That was lighter than I thought."
"S-Stay back. What have you done?" Gwen panicked, seeing the figure before her. "Who are you?! What did you do to my cousin?!"
"Gwen. Wait. It's me. It's Ben!" Ben tried to explain quickly, but the crackle of the fire had to make his voice louder. "I found this thing in a crater and now I'm on fire. Kinda. Are you okay?" but she wasn't listening as she screamed. 'Oh god, this isn't getting us anywhere!' Ben thought as he saw the forest burning. "You've got to go! NOW, DWEEB!" Ben shouted, hoping that the old 'nickname' that he told Gwen when they were kids would trust her.
''Dweeb'?' Gwen thought to herself as she heard the crackle of flames within that thing's mouth. 'Ben?'
CRACK!
Ben ran into the flames, trying to put them out. "Damn it!"
"Will you knock it off, Doofus! You'll set the whole forest in fire!" Gwen snapped.
"What do you think I'm trying to stop?" Ben responded...and so happy to be called 'Doofus' by her.
