On Today's Episode: In all the hullabaloo, the Coach has implanted Alex with one of his bugs, and now she's out to take down the spies. Even if they can save Alex from her brainwashing, that still leaves the Coach and whatever else he has up his sleeves, especially with increasing cases of 'bugs' at sports facilities all across Beverly Hills. Can the spies shut down the Coach's plans for an evil dream team, or is this when the Coach finally gets the gold?

Episode 2: Insidious Interlude

Nick ducked and weaved through the flying kicks Alex was sending his way, trying to find a vantage point to strike back and get some room to breathe.

"Okay, I didn't think mister coach boy would stoop that low," Melissa proclaimed as she and Dawn moved to free Sam and Blaine from their own restraints.

"And for that matter, why are we just calling him 'coach'? Does he even have a proper name?" Dawn asked.

"You know, I've never actually thought about that," Sam admitted.

"Can we focus here for a second?!" Haruka exclaimed. "In case you missed the memo, Alex is on a rampage!"

"Oh, this is brilliant," Coach laughed as he watched Nick defend himself from Alex. "I should have thought of this last time. After all, you wouldn't dare fight your own lover, would you?"

Coach began a traditional evil laugh, only to stop when he saw Nick leap over a punch and retaliate with a downward snap kick that sent Alex stumbling backwards.

"Oh, if only you knew how many times we've had to fight brainwashed allies, Coach," Nick proclaimed, his psychic aura flaring to life around him. "So don't think this is gonna stop me!"

Alex recovered herself and rushed back in to attack, but Nick began to strike back, meeting Alex blow for blow and countering everything he could until he tried to leap over Alex and she responded by grabbing Nick by the legs and tossing him backwards.

May quickly jumped up to catch Nick before he could hit the ground, thankfully.

"I'm right there with ya, Nick," May stated. "Wouldn't want girlfriend one to do anything she'll regret, right?"

"Definitely appreciate it, May," Nick responded. "Now let's start kicking some butts."

While Nick and May charged for Alex at the same time, the rest of the spies decided to go after Coach, who had decided to slip away in the confusion of the battle (not even realizing that Haruka had slipped a tracker on him as always).

"Are you doing okay, Sam?" Mat asked.

"I'll be fine, honey," Sam answered as she leaned over to kiss Mat. "I'm more worried about Alex right now."

"Hey, if anyone can get Alex back to her senses, it's those two," Bridget replied. "In the meantime, let's follow mister coach-who-doesn't-have-a-name and see if we can figure out his overarching scheme."

"Oh, lord, that's going to bother me for the rest of this case!" Dawn shouted. "WHAT IN THE HELL IS HIS FREAKIN' NAME?!"

"Dawn, focus," Melissa responded.

"Hehe, sorry," Dawn chuckled.

"Trust me, his real name is 100% irrelevant right now," Mat added in.

"We'll join you guys later," May told the group.

"For sure," Nick added.

"Alex should be in good hands," May replied.

"I'm gonna join your fight, too," Britney insisted.

Sam and Clover immediately remembered how many times Britney spoke highly of Alex. Nick remembered, and accepted Britney's statement.

"No way I'm gonna leave mama at all," Klee added in.

"We better jet to the Coach before Haruka's tracker runs out or he gets too far out of our reach," Sam quipped.

"Go get him!" Nick exclaimed to the rest of the spies.

Alex quickly lunged forward with a flying kick to scatter the spies in different directions.

"Come on, mama, snap out of it!" Klee exclaimed.

"I think the bigger question is, how are we gonna get that bug out of Alex's head?" Britney asked. "Can we make her sneeze or something?"

"What's Alex allergic to, if anything?" May wondered.

"I think she said she was allergic to kelp, but we obviously don't have any kelp around here," Nick quipped. "So we might have to try something else..."

Alex interrupted the conversation by doing a handstand and twirling around with her legs extended, forcing the spies to jump away to avoid the attack.

"Well, whatever it is, think of something fast!" Britney exclaimed.

Alex jumped over Nick and aimed a downward punch for Klee, only for the younger girl to raise her hand and snatch Alex in her psychic hold.

"No punching, mama," Klee teased as she closed her eyes.

"Any sign of an advantage, Klee?" May asked.

"I can sense mister bug boy... ugh, crawling around in mama's body," Klee stated, shuddering a bit at the thought.

"Wait a minute, Klee, that gives me an idea," Nick proclaimed. "Maybe you and I can use our psychic powers to force the bug out of Alex."

"It's worth a try, papa," Klee quipped. "Let's do it!"

Nick raised his hand to use his own psychic hold on Alex so they could both search for the bug and find a way to take it out.

To their surprise, Nick and Klee could sense the bug hanging out near Alex's brain, but it quickly moved when it noticed the odd sensation of them searching for it. Nick and Klee quickly focused their powers into chasing the bug out, and it eventually fell out of Alex's left ear. May quickly moved to destroy the bug before it could make another attempt by summoning her anchor and smashing the bug underneath it.

"Bug boy squashed!" May proclaimed as Nick and Klee set Alex down.

"Ugh... why does my head feel like it got put through a blender and served with fifty different sauces?" Alex groaned even as Nick leaped over to hug her.

"We just had to get a bug off of you, mama," Klee giggled.

"Oh, wait! The last thing I remember was one of Coach's bug things crawling by my head and... ugh, let's not think about that," Alex quipped.

"That bug was mind-controlling you to attack us, but Klee and I put our psychic powers together to drive the bug out and squish it, since we didn't have any kelp on hand," Nick explained.

"Ooh, just let me at that coach!" Alex exclaimed, already raring to go. "I'm gonna tear him a new one for brain-bleaching me!"

"Well, then let's go catch up with the others so we can do just that," Nick quipped, reaching out to hold Alex's hand as the five spies set off to rejoin the others.

Meanwhile...

Bridget had activated Sonic Mode and taken the rest of the spies on a fast pace to find the Coach.

"Any word if he's nearby?" Bridget asked Haruka.

"If you go north about three more miles, he should be pretty close," Haruka answered.

"He's gonna pay for deciding our fates the way he did..." Sam growled. "No way I will go the way of a boxer..."

"And no way am I going to re-live going through being a figure skater..." Clover chastised.

"You should be close," Haruka told Bridget after a while more.

"Roger..." Bridget quipped.

"He never stood a chance against Sam after all," Mat pointed out.

"True there," Sam replied.

"By the way, Sam," Melissa stated. "Did the Coach say anything to you about his plans – or to Alex or Blaine for that matter?"

"Last I remember was that Blaine was 'easy to convince'," Sam answered.

"What did he mean by that?" Nozomi wondered.

"It was probably just something he said to psyche us out and make us more susceptible to his crap," Sam answered.

"That rat bastard!" Clover growled. "That's MY future hubby he messed with!"

"For the record," Sam pointed out. "Blaine was totally unwilling as much as Alex and I were."

With that, the spies got to the said location, but it turned out to be the Mali-U campus.

"Oh no..." Nozomi groaned. "Apparently, he's going for a lot of the Mali-U student body!"

"Rules for villains, number ninety," Haruka quipped. "A large army is a useful tactic for victory. Overwhelm with numbers."

Fortunately, a student who was sick with a cough managed to cough out a bug near the spies.

"Eww..." Sam chastised. "Déjà vu much with Clover..."

"But he has to be nearby," Mat pointed out. "Look at this..."

It turned out to be a small test tube with some liquid that spilled out.

"Better get that to Jer, ASAP," Clover quipped.

"I'll do the honors," Mat replied as he got a sample of the liquid.

"Smells like it was cooked up in some lab," Haruka commented, getting a whiff herself.

That's when that said army that Haruka deduced the Coach made up had found the spies... with the coach leading the charge as if he were the head of an angry mob.

"Now you're reaching a whole new low, buddy!" Clover shouted. "It's one thing to take my hubby away from me, but now you actually brainwash one of my best friends?!"

"Hey, the more, the merrier, am I right?" Coach laughed as his army prepared themselves for a battle. "Soon, this whole world will know my name as the greatest Olympic coach ever known!"

"BUT WHAT IS YOUR FREAKIN' NAME?!" Dawn shouted. "How the hell can people know your name if they don't know your name?!"

"Still bugging you, Dawn?" Melissa teased.

"Seriously, that's going to keep gnawing at my brain until I get an answer!" Dawn replied. "Or, better yet? How about we wring it out of this jerk?!"

"I'd like to see you try," Coach laughed. "Get them!"

The army of brainwashed athletes charged towards the spies.

"Okay, so this is, what, the third time that a villain's gone after Mali-U students?" Sam quipped as she and Mat ducked under a leg sweep from an athlete, then double-punched two more athletes away.

"I guess they thought it was funny," Mat replied as he spun around another pair of athletes, then kicked one in the back as he attempted to grab Sam from behind.

A whole pack of athletes started marching towards Bridget, but she simply transformed into Sonic Mode, the light from her transformation pushing the athletes backwards, and then she used her lightning speed to bowl through them, scattering them every which way.

"Strike!" Nozomi proclaimed as he rolled under another athlete.

A rather burly athlete attempted to kick Nozomi into a nearby ball rack, but she responded by jumping over the kick, then landing, grabbing the athlete by his leg, and spinning him around before eventually tossing him into a nearby cart full of volleyballs.

"Watch the ball, buddy," Nozomi giggled.

Clover activated her Cyclone Blast Hairdryer and fired, blowing multiple athletes away. When they landed, a bunch of them sneezed, forcing the bugs out of their noses.

"That's still disgusting," Haruka groaned as she and Nozomi fired multiple shots from their Laser Lipsticks to destroy the bugs before they could re-enter a host.

"It could be worse," Nozomi stated. "But let's not dwell on those possibilities."

Before too long, all of the athletes in the area had been freed from the bugs' control thanks to the spies, leaving the Coach stunned.

"You wanna be next?!" Sam shouted.

"Even an exceptional villain knows when it's time to hit the bricks," Coach proclaimed, turning around to retreat. "This isn't over!"

"Yeah, you do that," Sam quipped as she and Mat herded the students away before they could ask too many questions.

"Well, thankfully, he's still stuck with that tracker I put on him, so we can find him at whatever sports facility he's gonna attack next," Haruka stated.

"Lord knows there's a lot of those in Beverly Hills," Clover admitted.

"Might as well see if the others got Alex back to her senses yet," Sam replied as she opened her X-Powder to contact Nick, only to hear a strange sound from far off. "...um, what was that?"

"Sounded like something fell over," Mat quipped.

The spies' question was quickly answered when Nick came flying down the hallway as if he'd been sucker-punched, followed by Klee flying in front of him and creating a psychic barrier to defend her father from a barrage of dark energy blades.

Alex and May quickly popped up, with Britney not too far behind, firing whatever projectile gadgets they had towards their attacker, who turned out to be none other than Corvus.

"You've got this really annoying habit of showing up whenever we're in the middle of a case, Corvus," Nick taunted as he flipped back onto his feet. "Is there some kind of reason for that?!"

"What better time to try and finish my job?" Corvus laughed, his hands glowing with dark magic.

"Does this guy ever quit?!" Melissa shouted.

Just then, Corvus snapped his gaze towards Melissa and rushed her, a dark energy blade forming on his hands as he slashed at her, intending to cut her down right there.

Nick was faster, forming a psychic blade of his own and slashing it outwards to counter Corvus' strike.

"Okay, that was low, even for you," Nick growled as he brought his hands outward, one glowing green and one glowing yellow. "Nobody tries to make a salad out of my sister and gets away with it!"

"And what makes you think I'm just going to sit here and take it?" Corvus cackled. Klee's response was to snatch Corvus in her psychic hold while Nick finished charging up.

"Thanks, Klee," Nick proclaimed. "Now suck on this, cloak boy! SHINING STAR ATTACK!"

Nick slammed his palms together and unleashed a large wave of silver light that thundered forward like a tsunami, crashing down on top of Corvus and exploding into a brilliant flash, flooring the dark mage instantly.

"Now start talking," Nick growled. "You still haven't told us what you did to future me and possibly other future us-es. Are you gonna spill before we have to get nasty?!"

"Don't get so testy," Corvus taunted. "You're acting as if I killed them. Like I said, they're all still alive, as I need them for my plan. But, they are my prisoners. So, here's hoping little Klee gets the rest of her memories back soon, before something... unsavory happens to them."

Before Klee could retaliate, Corvus covered himself with dark energy and vanished.

"I'm starting to really hate this guy and his constant butting in," Alex proclaimed.

"We're just happy you're back to your old self, Alex," Sam stated. "How did they get the bug out of you?"

"Papa and I used our powers to find the bug and chase him out," Klee answered. "It was gross, but it worked!"

"And now we've got a wacked-out coach to find," Haruka stated as she checked her tracking program. "It looks like he's heading for the basketball stadium on the west side of town!"

"All right, everyone, let's hurry over there!" Nick proclaimed.

("Doing Time" by MxPx plays)

"This guy's gotta be stopped," Mat chastised.

"I should have something thought up soon," Sam quipped.

"I hope," Alex remarked.

"Especially since Blaine needs rescuing," Clover added.

"I wish we'd know where Corvus got to as well," Nick stated.

"Tell me about it," May commented.

"If he didn't do anything to mama and papa in the future, I'd almost not want to go back," Klee stated.

"As if she did take us all by surprise with her true identity was something..." Nozomi commented concerning Klee saying she's Nick and Alex's future daughter.

"I'll second that," Britney replied in full agreement with Nozomi.

"And certainly got us in a bit of a nervous situation, too," May quipped as she and Britney shared a look with Nick and Mat respectively.

"Yeah, considering we're not sure if whatever Corvus did in the future could affect Klee here," Britney stated.

"Anyway, I don't think any of us would've counted on Corvus making a guest appearance here," Nick told the others.

"Yeah, and as it turned out, no harm no foul," Mat remarked.

"Lucky for us, I'd like to say," Sam commented.

"Well, we'll be to the basketball stadium faster than you can say 'buzzer-beating three'!" Bridget exclaimed. "Sonic Mode, online!"

With that, Bridget turned up the juice and the spy team were there in almost an instant.

"Hey, you!" Dawn proclaimed.

The Coach had his attention diverted at the spy team that had surrounded him.

"You again?!" the Coach chastised.

"Better believe it!" Clover exclaimed. "And you better prepare to pay for taking my honey-buns from me! WHERE IS HE?!"

"You'll run into him soon, my friend," the Coach sneered at Clover's anger.

"And don't think you're off the hook for what you did to me before!" Clover exclaimed as well.

"I admit, three bugs was something I shouldn't have done," the Coach replied, reminiscing back to that day he was later exposed.

"I'd have exposed you on the podium, buddy boy," Mat told him. "Lucky thing you didn't deal with me, pal!"

"Same here," Nick responded. "There's a thing called 'hard work' after all! Deal with THAT!"

"Or don't be a doofus who takes steroids either," Nozomi replied.

"Exactly!" Mat exclaimed.

"Now, you deal with me!" Clover proclaimed, stepping forward.

"Let's see if you can catch me," Coach laughed as he began to move away.

"Oh, you're not going anywhere," Nick shot back, raising his hand to snatch Coach in his psychic hold. "All right, Clover, sock him one or two times."

"Oh, I'll whack him a lot more than that," Clover proclaimed as she waltzed up to Coach and slapped him across the face, followed by a flying kick to the head and then a forward boot to the chest that sent him crashing backwards.

"Now where is my boyfriend, asshole?!" Clover growled.

"Didn't I say you'd see him soon enough?" Coach chuckled as he picked himself up.

"Stop playing mind games with us, buddy, and tell us where he is," Nick proclaimed, aiming his glowing right hand towards Coach.

Coach simply snapped his fingers, and two muscle-bound athletes rushed from the shadows to grab both Dawn and Melissa from behind.

"It's your choice," Coach laughed. "You can either come after me or save your family. What's it gonna be, boy?"

In response to that, Nick raised his glowing hand, then snapped his fingers, causing a bubble of golden light to expand outwards from his hand until it covered the entire immediate area. Time ground to a halt for everyone inside the bubble but himself and Klee.

"They never learn, do they, papa?" Klee laughed.

"Nope, never," Nick replied. "I'll get Dawn and Melissa, and you go give Coach hell."

"Got it!" Klee responded.

Nick ran over to wrench the athlete's arms away from his sister and cousin while Klee blasted Coach backwards with a Final Shine Attack of her own. Nick then snapped his fingers to undo the time freeze, leaving Coach very confused as to why he was suddenly on the floor.

"Didn't know I could do that, huh?" Nick taunted as Dawn and Melissa flip-kicked the athletes away from them.

"You have quite the repertoire of tricks, don't you, boy?" Coach proclaimed after picking himself back up again. "You'd make an ideal part of my sports team."

"Sorry, but I've gotta respectfully decline," Nick answered. "W.O.O.H.P. training aside, sports and I don't mix very well. And besides, I still owe you some lumps for brainwashing my girlfriend."

"And as Nick's second girlfriend, I'm here to bring some pain, too!" May exclaimed, brandishing her trusty anchor. "How about we try a little javelin toss?!"

May tossed her anchor towards Coach as if she was performing a javelin toss, forcing Coach to step aside to avoid the massive metal weapon.

Just as Coach was about laugh at May's missed shot, May used the Emergency Gadget Transporter to recall her anchor to her hands, then slammed it down just inches away from Coach, forcing him to take a step back.

"Keep your eye on the pole-vaulting birdie!" May shouted as she used her anchor to perform a pole-vault jump towards Coach, allowing her to kick him right in the face.

"You wanna just give up and make things easier on yourself, or is that just not happening?" Sam proclaimed.

"Far from it, Sam," Coach laughed. "In fact, I must bow out for now, but I'll leave you a little something to play with."

Coach snapped his own fingers before retreating.

"And he just left?" Alex quipped.

"Any sign of trouble, Nick?" Nozomi asked.

"Yeah, something's approaching quickly," Nick answered. "Wait, it's... Blaine?"

Naturally, Clover was excited, but when she tried to move towards where Blaine was coming from, only to be stopped by Klee.

"Hold on just a second, Clover," Klee quipped. "That seemed far too easy."

And sure enough, Klee's guess was right on the money, as when Blaine emerged from a nearby hallway, his eyes glazed over much like Alex had been, he jumped over the spies to pounce on Clover.

"Blainey, what's the deal?!" Clover shouted.

Nick quickly blasted Blaine off of Clover so he could read his mind.

"It's just like Alex!" Nick exclaimed. "Blaine's got two bugs inside of him that are controlling him!"

"Okay, that's low, even for him!" Bridget shouted. "But let's see how Blaine likes the master of speed! Sonic Mode, online!"

Blaine lunged for Bridget at incredible speeds, but she was still faster, leg sweeping Blaine off of his feet to give the other spies time to think of a strategy.

"Ooh, just let me at that stinkin' coach," Clover growled.

"Later, Clover," Melissa responded. "We've got to get your boyfriend back to his senses first!"

"Come on, then," Blaine growled under his villain influence.

"Blainey, don't you know who we are?!" Clover shouted.

"Clover, I don't think that's going to help much," Haruka chastised.

The spies ducked every move that Blaine threw at them.

"This isn't going anywhere!" May exclaimed.

She summoned her trusty anchor to use as a javelin in an attempt to get Blaine to stop in his tracks. It worked at first.

"Good move, May," Sam quipped. "My turn!"

She whipped out her Laser Lipstick in an attempt to make Blaine "dance."

"Great idea, Sammy!" Alex exclaimed and got in the spirit, too.

"Any idea where the bugs are, Nick?" Bridget wondered.

Nick used his psychic power to read Blaine's body.

"They're currently sashaying around his arms," Nick stated. "Ooh, I'm glad my younger self isn't here right now. I'd probably freak."

"Blainey's MY boyfriend, so I'm gonna be the one who snaps him back to reality!" Clover exclaimed.

"I wouldn't break his neck if I were you," Mat cringed.

"Believe me, I won't do that," Clover quipped as she started to skate away and see a tree nearby.

Blaine saw Clover stay up there, thinking she'd been scared stiff.

"You're mine now," Clover quietly sneered.

Clover leaped from the top of the tree like a cat and held onto Blaine with everything she had.

"That's your idea, Clover?!" Melissa chastised.

"It's something, isn't it?!" Clover remarked.

"If it worked for Ricky Carmichael all throughout 2001 Supercross, you shouldn't get tossed off the first time," Mat pointed out.

"My thoughts exactly," Nozomi quipped.

"Then I can get Blaine back to his senses!" Nick exclaimed. "Now just stay still, you..."

Nick attempted to grab Blaine in his psychic hold, but his maneuver failed because Blaine finally got Clover off of him and retreated away to who-knew-where.

"Son of a bitch!" Nick swore.

"I knew Blaine was serious on V-ball, but never knew THAT serious..." Clover chastised.

"I guess Blaine's gonna need some extra convincing from us," Dawn stated.

That was when Sam's X-Powder went off, and Jerry's visage appeared.

"Hello, spies," Jerry stated.

"Jerry?" Alex wondered as the spies gathered around.

"What's the word now?" Britney wondered.

"We have the results of the watery stuff dad sent to W.O.O.H.P.," Kana replied over Jerry's shoulder.

"Well, let's hear it," Sam stated.

"It seems to be the raw material for Coach's bugs," Jerry answered.

"Did you get Blaine back yet?" RiCO asked after that.

"Almost..." May replied.

"Clover's idea almost worked, but Blaine retreated to who knows where," Alex chastised.

"Any idea where he's gone to?" Nick wondered. "And maybe the Coach, too?"

"Well, let's bust out the ol' tracker," Haruka quipped, opening her X-Powder to find where Blaine had escaped to. "It seems like he's on his way to the swimming center near Mali-U."

"Why exactly is Coach trying to attack all these sports centers?" Melissa asked.

"He's probably trying to build up his super-Olympic army," Dawn answered. "He does seem like the type to take advantage of rule ninety."

"Um, how about less talking, more rescuing?!" Clover exclaimed. "I'm not leaving Blaine in mister letdown's clutches any longer than I have to!"

"Don't worry, Clover, we'll get your hubby back soon enough," Bridget proclaimed. "Let's follow that signal and kick some faces!"

Thankfully, it didn't take too long to reach the swimming center where Blaine and the Coach were waiting for them.

"Any sign of them, Nick?" Clover asked.

Nick closed his eyes and scanned the immediate area for any sign of their targets.

"Yeah, about two and a half clicks that-a-way," Nick responded. "Let's move!"

"I'm afraid that won't be necessary, spies."

Coach stepped out of the shadows, with Blaine right behind him.

"We figured we'd find you instead," Coach laughed.

"Oh, har-har, how original," Clover proclaimed. "Now how about you shut your trap and hand over my boyfriend?!"

"Do you honestly think I'd let him go without a fight?" Coach responded. "And by that, I obviously mean he's going to fight you. So, have fun with that. I'll be off to my secret lair to prepare my supreme team. Here's hoping you can survive long enough to see my team in action!"

And with that, Coach retreated from the area, but before Haruka could throw a tracker on him, Blaine dashed towards her, grabbing her by the waist and tossing her towards the nearby pool.

Nick reacted quickly, snatching Haruka in his psychic hold before she could fall into the pool and bringing her back to the group.

"Thanks for the save, Nick," Haruka giggled as she changed into her spy suit. "I did not want to get these clothes all soaked on the first freakin' day I bought them."

Nick prepared himself as Blaine came closer, but instead of fighting Nick, he weaved around him and lunged for Clover.

"Should have seen that coming," Clover quipped as she dodged Blaine's punch before tripping him up with a leg sweep. Blaine quickly jumped back to his feet and began grappling with Clover.

"Yeah, I don't think so, buddy," Bridget stated. "Sonic Mode, online!"

Just when it seemed like Blaine was going to overpower Clover, Bridget charged through, sending Blaine tumbling across the room.

"We need to get him to sit still!" Nozomi shouted.

"Klee, you're with me!" Nick exclaimed. "Let's see if what we did for Alex will work for Blaine, too."

"All over it, papa!" Klee responded as the two of them flew up into the air as Blaine tried to ambush them.

Clover decided to keep Blaine busy so Nick and Klee could execute their plan, lunging forward to push Blaine into the pool. Blaine quickly jumped out of the pool and rushed to again attack Clover, only to be intercepted by both Dawn and Melissa kicking him backwards.

"Grabby hands off, buster!" Melissa shouted.

While they were airborne, Nick and Klee began psychically scanning Blaine's body in order to find where the bugs were hiding.

"Oh, barf, I can feel them crawling around his legs," Klee gagged.

"Good to know I'm not the only one disgusted by that crapola," Nick replied. "But don't let it gag you, Klee. Just focus on chasing the bugs out of his body."

Blaine barreled through Melissa and Dawn to get to Clover, only for Alex to trip him up so that he went rolling past Clover instead.

"Please stop trying to go after your girlfriend," Alex quipped. "That's a brainwashing cliché that honestly needs to shrivel up and go the way of the dodo."

In response, Blaine actually seemed to listen and pounced on Alex, though she planted her feet into his chest to knock him off just as quickly.

"I really need to shut my mouth sometimes," Alex sighed before looking up towards Nick and Klee. "You two got your plan working yet?"

"Almost, mama!" Klee responded. "We're just trying to pinpoint these slippery little devils."

When they'd finally done so, both Nick and Klee raised their hands to ensnare Blaine in their psychic holds, then focused their powers through his body in order to chase the bugs out.

It took about twenty seconds, since apparently these bugs were a little smarter and kept trying to evade, but the bugs eventually fell out of Blaine's ears where they were immediately vaporized by a few psychic bolts from Nick and Klee.

"Somebody called for an exterminator?" Klee giggled as she and Nick flew back down to the ground just as Blaine regained his senses.

"Ugh, my head..." Blaine groaned. "Now I know what the spin cycle feels like..."

Blaine was quickly knocked to the floor when Clover lunged over to hug him.

"Totally saw that coming," Alex laughed.

"Hey, Clover, what exactly happened?" Blaine asked. "My memory of the past hour or so is... a bit fuzzy..."

"Coach tried to brainwash you with his bugs, just like he did to me," Alex answered. "But Nick and Klee psychically chased the bugs out of you, just like they did with me."

"That's good," Blaine replied as Clover leaned in for a kiss. "I did not want to be a muscle-bound oaf for the rest of my life."

"As much as some girls love their strong guys, you're perfect just the way you are, Blaine-y," Clover giggled.

"As much as I'm sure you two would like to flirt and whisper lovey-doveys to each other all day, we've still got a renegade coach to find," Nick proclaimed. "...oof, now it's bothering me, too, that he doesn't seem to have a name."

"Finally, someone understands my pain!" Dawn exclaimed.

"Let's head back to W.O.O.H.P. and regroup, then we can discuss our plan to take down Coach's big, scary scheme," Sam stated.

"Sounds like a plan, Sammy," Mat proclaimed.

"Back to headquarters we go, then!" May exclaimed, hefting her anchor onto her shoulder.

To be concluded...

On the next episode...

Sam: Hey, I think mister coach decided to show his ugly mug!

Coach: Oh, that actually offends me.

May: Oh, shut up and just tell us where you're hiding so we can end your schemes!

Coach: You won't be ending this one so easily, spies.

Nick: I believe my girlfriend asked you a question, Coach boy, so out with it!

Coach: Very well, then. It'll be fun to see you lose to my secret plan. Come and find me at the attached coordinates below. Don't keep me waiting.

Alex: Oh, we'll be there, jerk! I've got half a mind to bean you one for what you did to me!

Clover: Get in line, Alex.

Nick: Well, readers, next one's the finale for this case, so I hope you're ready for some madness, next time on the final act of Totally Spies: Sam-zibar Bound, "The Grand Performance"!

Dawn: ...huh. There's no dumb pun this time. Maybe he ran out of puns to spring on us?

May: Maybe it's because he knows I'm onto him.
