Phoenix was a runner, not a fighter, not even able to catch a bunny. But on the inside? She was strong, she was fierce, she was not afraid. The truth is, she was never afraid that is until her mother married The Invincible Lord. After that, she was a fighter no more, everything she had learned she had to hide behind this mask of obedience and silence. And now that she was The Invincible Lord's daughter she couldn't do anything but stay inside of these stuffy walls! She wished she could just go and see people like she used to- oh wait she did have a brother, Undauntable, buuuuuut... he was the WORST. He was always- "Hey Pheonix?" Said Undauntable poking his head in her room and interrupting her thoughts. Pheonix inwardly sighed but just answered him, "Yeah?"
"I'm uh… going to town to uh… buy some stuff.." He said but on the last word, he accidentally leaned too far in the doorway and dropped a clear box. Phoenix smirked when she saw it had a ring inside and Undauntable hurried to pick it up. "Ooo… who's the girl?" Pushed Pheonix. Undauntable ignored her and instead said, "As I was saying, I will be gone so you, therefore, must stay in the castle." Pheonix groaned, it was a silly rule that was. Why? What would be wrong with both of us being out? Suddenly a peircing shreak lead through the air. Undauntable looked at Pheonix with fear in his eyes and She jumped up, grabbed his wrist, and ran although it was more like an extra fast run, as if the dragon were nipping their ankles. Suddenly the glass roof of her room rained down on her pinning her to the floor. Their parents who had also heard the sound were in the hallway ready to grab their children. Except Pheonix didn't make it… only Undauntable. Phoenix had the last few seconds to reach a bag on the floor with her most important possessions and a sack full of food, clothes, and other necessities. Phoenix strapped them to her back, waved her mother goodbye, curled up in a ball, and as claws wrapped around her? She hoped for the best.
