Emma and Ray were really shocked by this. Just a few hours in the outside world and they already saw a new person. They didn't imagine to see one so fast but here he was. They had so many questions towards this person. They didn't know what to say, or what to ask.

''Who is this?'' Asked Emma.

''I don't know.'' Said Ray.

The two orphans looked at Luffy like he was something rare and found something shocking.

''Look. He doesn't have a number.'' Said Emma.

Ray saw Luffy neck and indeed he didn't had a number. This was the first time he ever saw that, even Mom had a number.

''What?'' Asked Ray with so many questions in his head.

Luffy kept looking at the kids and was wondering if they were ok. Judging by the huge bandages over their ears, its easy to say that they weren't.

''Do you guys need any help?" Asked Lufy.

''Of….'' Said Emma ready to talk, but Ray stop her to make some questions.

''Who are you? Identify yourself.'' Said the black-haired kid.

''My name is Monkey D. Luffy.''

The two kids were dumbfounded by that. This was the stupid name they ever heard.

''Your name is Monkey? Why?" Asked Emma.

''Yes, I don't know. My grandpa and I just heard now that my dad also have this name. So I told mine, what are yours?" Asked Luffy.

''Well…'' Said Emma but Ray stopped her.

''don't say it. He might be working for the demons.'' Said Ray with a whisper.

Luffy heard the two kids talking in secret, and by the looks they were running from somebody. He can also feel that they were scared and tired.

''Are you guys ok?'' Asked Luffy

''We are fine. Just leave us…'' Said Ray but suddenly Luffy realized something.

''Oh no!'' Scream Luffy surprising the two kids.

''What?!'' Asked the two scared.

''I haven't made a signal to my friends. Now they will never find me.'' Said Luffy acting all stupid. However, the last part intrigued the two orphans.

'Friends?" Asked Ray.

''Yes, my friends are here. We came to this island by any chances. Do you guys live here?'' Asked Luffy.

Emma was now with a huge smile on her face. This could mean hope, and answer so many questions.

'More people! Is that true?!'' Asked Emma.

''Whoever you are we don't believe until we have some proof.'' Said Ray.

''Are you guys orphans or something?'' Asked Luffy.

''Do you work for anyone?'' Asked Ray

''No, I am my own boss. Me and my crew went here just to have fun, our ship is decked a few miles from here.'' Said Luffy.

The kids all were confused by this. A ship, like the ones from the books. Emma and Ray were confused while Thomas and Chris were terrified.

''A ship?! Why would you have a ship?'' Asked Ray.

''Well, because I am a pirate.'' Said Luffy.

The kids all were confused as all hell for that answer.

''You…are a pirate?'' Asked Chris.

''Yes, and one day I will become king of the pirates!'' Said Luffy with a huge smile.

The kids now looked dumbfounded. Even after everything they been through, that was the stupid thing anyone has ever said to their faces.

''That is so idiotic!''' Said Ray.

''Yes, pirates don't exist.''' Said Emma.

''Huh?''' Asked Luffy confused.

''Are you good in the head sir?'' Asked Chris.

Luffy didn't know what those kids were talking about. Pirates are known worldwide, and he is a famous one. So why they were acting all weird out by him. Before he could ask more questions, he heard some voices in the distance.

'''Luffy! Where are you?'' Asked a voice which turned out to be Nami.

''Right here! I found some kids!'' Scream Luffy.

Emma and the others were with their hearts beating up like crazy, with demons all over the place Luffy was pretty much giving their location.

''Silence!'' Said Emma in a whisper.

''WHAT!'' Scream Luffy making his voice echoing in the entire forest.

''Silence!''' Scream everyone.

Soon the rest of the Straw Hat crew appeared, much to the shock and surprise of the children from Grace field.

''Hey Luffy there you are.'' Said Franky.

''You shouldn't run off. We could have lost you.'' Said Sanji.

''Sorry, my bad.'' Said Luffy with a goofy smile.

The kids from Grace Field, were now shocked by all this. So many people that weren't from their orphanage, this was too much to take.

''More people!'' Thought of them in shock.

Emma was shaking by all this. Seeing so many new people in one day, was too much for her mind.

While the kids were still in shock, the crew saw them and wondered who they were.

''Luffy who are they?''' Asked Nami.

''Oh yeah. I found them while I was walking, they didn't tell their names. So, I guess they are in trouble.'' Said Luffy.

Ray checked the neck of every single member of the straw-Hat crew and was again shocked to find no number craved in there.

''None of them have numbers. What is this?' Thought him.

''hey are you kids ok?'' Asked Usopp.

At first the kids were supposed to play quiet, and not answer to strangers. But Thomas couldn't take it.

''No, we are not! We need help.'' Said the kid.

''What happened?" Asked Robin.

''Our brothers and sisters disappear.'' Said Thomas crying.

''Oh no.'' Said Nami.

''Calm down kid. What is your name?" Asked Usoop.

''My name is Thomas.''

''Thomas!'' Scream both Emma and Ray in horror.

''Is ok, we are not here to attack you guys. You know that my name is Luffy and these are my friends Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Robin and Franky.''

The crew waved at the kids and tried to act nicely. However, they didn't know how to react to them. Specially towards Chopper and Franky, because they didn't look human.

''Relax, we are cool guys.'' Said Franky.

Emma didn't know why, but she felt she could trust these people. So, she decided to let them know her name.

''I am Emma. This is Ray, you all know Thomas and this one is Chris.''

''Ok Emma, now that we all know each lets…'' Said Luffy going to shake her hand. However…

Ray snapped his hand and gave a stare to back away.

''Stay away from me.'' Said him all serious.

''Wow kid is sharp.'' Said Zoro with a smirk.

''Do you think we are stupid? We know this is a trick.'' Said Ray.

''Is ok Ray, we are good people.'' Said Nami.

''What makes you all think that I would fall for that? I wasn't born yesterday!'' Scream him all serious.

Robin could tell from the look of the boy that he had a rough and serious life.

''Is the look of someone who has been working in the shadows for a long time.'' Thought her.

Luffy didn't know what was going on, but he and his crew decided to know what was happening with those kids. While the kids try to figure out, what Chopepr was.

''So…'' Said Emma looking at the reindeer.

''What in the world are you?" Asked Chris.

''I am a reindeer.'' Said Chopper

''What kind of reindeer?" Asked Thomas.

''I am a special reindeer.'' Said Choper with a smile.

''But why you are here? '' Asked Emma.

''don't you know that this forest is full of demons?'' Asked Ray.

Upon hearing the D word, the crew blink in shock and scream one thing:

''Demons!'' Scream Luffy, Nami, Usopp, Chopper and Franky.

''There are demons in this forest!'' Scream Usopp in tears.

''don't worry ladies. I will protect you all.'' Said Sanji.

''If I see a demon, I will punch them.'' Said Luffy.

''I can't wait to cut them. I wonder if they blled.'' Said Zoro.

''It would be interesting to study their origin. Luffy, if you knock down one can I study?" Asked Robin.

The kids didn't know what was happening, those people were acting all calm in the forest. What in the world were they?

''These peoples aren't human!'' Said Ray in disbelief.

''Silence, they might help us find the others.'' Said Emma.

''So, what is your situation Emma?" Asked Luffy.

''Our group got separated. We were a total of 15, and now we are just this.' Said Emma.

''don't worry. We will find your friends soon.'' Said Usopp.

''Yes, you can count on us.'' Said Chopper.

Luffy only smile at those kids. He would help them, whether they like it or not. But before he could do anything, he sensed something.

''Wait! I heard something.'' Said Luffy.

''Really?" Asked Zoro preparing his sword and everyone looking worried.

However instead of a demon popping out, Luffy was dragged to the ground and it appears that he was being eaten by the plant.

''aaaaaaah!'' Scream Luffy in horror.

''LUFFY!' Scream the crew in fear as their captain disappear.

Luffy soon found no light, as he was now down with no idea where he was, and if was alive either.
