Roxy's Point of View
The night after I saw the vampire, I had a weird dream.
"Felix? Dimitri?" there were three men in a room. One was raven haired, and the other two had brown hair. One of them was tall, abnormally so, and increasingly muscular. The other was athletic and tall, but next to the giant he seemed a lot smaller. "Yes master?" They said in unison. That's when I noticed all three of them had red eyes. "There's a girl in Florida. Ronan will give you a general description. She may possess a gift. I want you to bring her to me." They bowed and left "of course master."
I woke up with cold sweat in the dead of night. what did this mean? I'm probably overthinking things I told myself. You just saw a vampire yesterday and now you're dreaming about the Volturi. You're fine, I sighed and laid back in bed. When I woke up in the morning, I didn't remember the dream at all.
(time skip (to the next morning))
I woke up feeling like today was any other day. I came downstairs "yo mom?" I yelled to get her attention from the other room. "Yes?" she said coming into the kitchen. "I'm going to hang out with my friends is that okay with you?" she nodded "Okay sweety, just be back home by nine." She added "oh and eat something before you go out." I nodded and put some bread in the toaster.
*ding!* it sounded and I took out the toast being mindful not to burn myself. I put it in my mouth and grabbed my skateboard from the hallway. I started skating to our usual hangout. It was a short trip, only a few minutes until I saw Selina and troy already waiting for me. "Well you're late" Salena grumbled, "Chill, I was only a few minutes late. I woke up a bit later than usual is all."
"Fine, so what do you want to do today?" hmm, I had an idea in mind "what about the park? that should be fun." Troy who was leaning on a tree said, "you know what? why not." and we set out to the park. No one was there this early, so we had the park for the most part to ourselves. Save a random jogger here and there.
Felix's Point of View
Master Aro had sent me on a mission to collect a human girl. I followed her from her house to some place by a tree. I was unsure if I should take her now, or if I should wait until the other two are gone. I decided to wait ten minutes. If her friends aren't gone by then, I would just take her.
I followed her to a park watching, waiting. She was playing with her skateboard as I think it was called these days. Her friends still hadn't left after a while. As much as I didn't want to startle the girl or her friends, I had a job to do. I started walking into their line of sight.
Roxy's Point of View
We had been skateboarding around the park when I thought I saw something glittery. I stopped and noticed it was a person, no not a person a vampire. I heard my heartbeat pick up, and if I could hear it then the large vampire certainly could. He couldn't be shorter then six feet tall and a foot or two wide. I could see his muscles. I knew vampires were exceptionally strong, but this one looked like he might be stronger than normal.
I had to say I was scared. More so than the one I saw a few days ago. He used his speed to appear right in front of me. He was glittering, but not as much as he normally would have. Since, it was partially overcast. "hello. You are to come with me on master Aro's orders." what? Aro? Isn't he one of the three vampire kings? Why would he be interested in me?
In any case I was in no ability to resist being taken by the massive vampire, so I just nodded tentatively. By now my friends have seen my dilemma and were smartly staying away. I wish I was them right now. "Come with me" he said before turning around to leave. Noticing, that I would offer no resistance. I was to scared, and anything I could try would be futile; so I followed him to a car.
It was a black limo. He opened the door for me to get in and then went to the other side, telling some other vampire to "go to the airport Dimitri." So, one of them was named Dimitri. I got in not wanting to die and the car ride so far had been quiet before the big guy spoke. "Are you alright?" He was asking me If I was alright? This didn't seem like normal behavior. We were always taught though to do what we were asked. Or risk dyeing.
"No" I said truthfully and started crying. The massive guy scooched closer to me. "Hey, it's going to be alright. I think you'll like it as a Volturi vampire." The Dimitri guy added "or maybe not, Felix is always a huge pain in the ass." There was a gasp of what seemed like… Mock surprise? From Felix. "No I'm not! You are!"
Dimitri just chuckled and continued to drive. Not taking his eyes of the road. I had stopped crying and was now really curious. Why were they being so casual? And around a human? In other words, me. "Yah know? I don't really know your name. Mines Felix, and Dimitri is the ugly vampire in the front seat." I wasn't sure if they were trying to lull me into a false sense of security, but I thought they were somewhat friendly. "I'm Roxanne, but other people call me Roxy." The rest of the ride to the airport was fun. I had started to warm up to them. I half wondered if this is what people consider stock home syndrome.
